a wonderful day trip in Iriomote Island

I can say that it is a fabulous tour for us and I strongly recommend it.
2 of us join the tour on 12 may, when we arrive the ferry terminal of Iriomote Island at 930am, they already have staff waiting us at there and holding the company name card. After waiting for the other 2 participant, we got on their van to the shop.
Around 10 minutes we have arrived their shop, they will give us a back pack and water proof bag for using during the tour, locker for putting valuable things. After got change we got on the van for another 10 minutes and arrived the place for kayaking.
There is 2 tour guides leading us, though we haven’t request for English spoken tour guide, one of them – Taka speak English well. He gave us a small teaching session and we have started the kayaking.
You can either choosing 1 or 2 seat kayak, as both of us never play before; we have chosen the 2 seat kayak. It is not difficult to play, we have spend only around 10 minutes to familiar with it.
After around 40 minutes kayaking, we have arrived the bottom of the hill and start going uphill and arrive the top of the water fall within 1 hour. While we were taking photo and the top of the water fall, they were cooking the noodles for our lunch.
After the lunch, we go back with the same route and heading to the bottom of the water fall. We took photo there again, and they have prepared a tea and small Japanese cake to us. AT around 2pm, we get back to our Kayak and returned to our start point and return to their shop. During the trip, Taka has also take photo for us and if you have iphone, he can can you back immediately by Airdrop.
After taking shower and their shop, they will drive us back the ferry terminal.
Overall, it is really worth to joining this trip with a wonderful view from the top and the bottom of the water fall, and a good tour guide is also a plus of the trip. We strongly recommend this tour.
