Reviewed by: Nikki, 2019/11/17I've always wanted to go scuba diving but never had the opportunity. I was worried I'd miss out this time too because the tours say 2 or more people. But Veltra was able to make arrangements and they were willing to let me go as a solo booking. That alone would have gotten them a high rating. But the experience was absolutely magical - definitely the highlight of my trip. The actual blue cave was SLIGHTLY disappointing but ONLY because so many people had been in the area that day that they'd kicked up the silty bottom in the cave reducing visibility (so I'd recommend booking in the morning - I went in the afternoon) but that's hardly the fault of the tour, and they warned me ahead of time so it wouldn't be an unpleasant surprise when I got there. They even told me, if I wanted to come again, that it's best to come during winter when there's less traffic (I came in the spring).
Another thing that's good about THIS tour is that Okinawa Sealover's shop is located a short drive from Ryukyu Mura so you can easily do both (and the village's ticket is all-day so you can go and come back like I did).

Blue Cave Scuba Diving

The water was perfect and very clear. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in diving while visiting Okinawa.

Amazing experience
Reviewed by: Claudia, 2019/05/09Since I don’t have any experience of scuba driving , the most thing I worried was safety, yet the staff took good care of me , I don’t have to worry at all because I got my own diving instructor . I felt a bit sad ,because I didn’t get to dive at blue cave due to some safety reason . The point of diving changed to moon beach ,however it was beautiful and nice experience.

Wide, encompassing experience in a short time
Reviewed by: Shane, 2019/03/27For the price, this tour was unexpectedly packed with a lot of things to try for the relatively short time (under three hours).
We received a brief orientation while on the boat. Even though it was my first time to scuba dive, I understood exactly what to do, and the instructor's English was good enough that if I had any questions, he could answer them clearly and satisfactorily.
The weather prevented us from entering the waters nearby the Blue Cave, so they selected a nearby shallow area of the bay, and we got to swim with a lot of different species of fish among the various coral reefs.

Perfect for first time scuba divers
Reviewed by: Daniel, 2018/05/06Never sucba dived before, and found this to be perfect for a first time. I was very happy with the whole experience.
Our guide explained the equipment and what to do. He would always stay with us and guide us trough the cave, and take us on a dive a little bit outside. He took pictures underwater and gave us bread to feed the fish with (they go crazy!). Super nice experience, do recommend for beginners. If youre more epxerienced and want to explore more on your own, I think a different tour would be better

Pretty cool experience

So much Fun but they should make it longer
Reviewed by: Ashley, 2017/11/08The stuff here is so nice! they provide hair dryer, lotion, face mist for the customer which is so good! But i hope they can provide one more important thing - towel for us after we do diving and shower !
For the diving section, the stuff keep take care us and show us some special marine life ! when the diving is finished , they will give us some hot water for warming the body which is thoughtful idea !
But one thing i wanna complain is when i book this activity, the web site is showing the duration gonna be 3 hours from 930-1230, but finally we done everything included shower after diving , it just only 1130! That"s made us feel bad why we couldn"t dive for longer at the same diving spot!

Diving was really good!

The instructors were all kind and helpful and taught a beginner like me in an easy-to-understand and helpful way (^^)
I could swim in the sea with confidence and I was so excited when feeding lots of fish that swam around me!
They took more than 30 pictures, made rings and heart bubbles in water, etc., and I was so happy and impressed.
Both the female and male instructors were so awesome.
I will definitely come back to Okinawa next year and go diving again with this shop.
