Sky Bus...the tour that cannot be left out in tokyo
Reviewed by: RODOLFO & ANA , 2020/02/23My wife and I did the 24 hour tour... and this is a "must" in visiting Tokyo, specially if visit in the city is short.
It will give you an overall view of the city and then choose the places you should like to spend more time. The tour gives you the opportunity to hop off and hop in in different stations.
We did the Red tour first and finished this and immediately hopped in to the Blue tour. The Red gives you the chance to see the popular and the contrast with the glamour sites of the city. Blue takes you to the Minato, Ginza and the Financial district...it is amazing!!! At 6pm we did again theBlue tour to see the glamour of the city and the Tokyo Bay at night.
Sky Bus is an amazing experience specially for first visitors to Tokyo!!
Don´t miss it !!!!!

Great way to get around Tokyo and very comfortable buses and friendly host conductors!

The routes covered all the key parts of Tokyo which I wanted to visit. The commentary could be further improved. On the whole I enjoyed the trip!

Day adventure in Tokyo

Skyhop has everything provided for. from the blankets with this cold winter days. Heat pads and the earphones. They have though of everything. It be nice with the translation they should add also Spanish, Italian and some other European languages.
My family and I had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the scenery. Couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for an enjoyable and wonderful trip.

Worked Out Great!
Reviewed by: Tokyo Time, 2018/06/28This service worked out wonderfully! My wife and I decided last minute to do a tour bus ride to visit spots around Tokyo. When I say "last minute" I mean at breakfast around 0800 we decided to do the hop on hop off bus tour at 1030. From the time I booked it on my phone and when we checked in, the Representative already had our information printed out and confirmed our activity. Check in was smooth. The bus ride tour was perfect for us. We were able to hop off and visit a few popular locations. All in all, it was a great experience. I will use Veltra, again. Thank you.

Reviewed by: Ella , 2018/03/15This is definitely a great way to start your tour in Tokyo. The bus ride over the bridge to Tokyo Bay is exhilarating! Just make sure you sit all the way at the front because the wind on the high way is no joke. There are multiple buses so if you want to see more stuff you can easily switch. The price is about the same if you were to take the underground metro, but you get a guided tour instead on the bus! Thanks for a great experience!!

You'll get to every destination without having to worry about the travel time.The audio guide is useful as well since it is in sync every time we approach a certain stop. For a tourist with limited time to explore, this activity is very much recommended!
To be candid, I feel the limited time per location 2-3mins tops (if I remember it right) is too short to fully appreciate the experience. But the good thing about this, you'll be able to visit and take pictures at these iconic places.

Great Service

They provided plastic rain jackets which were great and we just stayed in the bus the entire trip around the city. Because the tickets are 24 hours, we were able to hop back on the next morning and actually see some sites OFF the bus. I forgot to print out my online ticket, but the ladies were able to work with the screenshot I showed on my phone. overall great experience.

Brisk tour of Tokyo!
Reviewed by: Jas, 2017/05/17It was nice seeing some of the highlights of Tokyo in a quick time. The audio guide had pretty strange facts that I didn't know about Tokyo too. But after a while, I just decided to ignore the audio and just enjoy the view.
Even in May after the sun went down it was rather cold!

Tokyo sky bus
Reviewed by: Diana, 2016/07/31Enjoyed our time on the hop on, hop off bus. The first loop we did was Asakusa course and got off and on the busses at different stops. We were able to see some major sights and the time in between the bus returns was reasonable with about an hour time frame. We then did the Odaiba Course and only got off at a one stop since the time frame was over an hour for the next bus and it was getting late. We enjoyed having the transportation around Tokyo since it was our first time there and it helped us determine what sites we would like to return to the next few days using the subways. I would highly recommend this tour for first time guests in Tokyo.

The tour was informative and gave us an idea of places we would want to return to and explore fully. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was worried about using a service such as Veltra but I had no problems whatsoever. We plan on doing the bus tour again when friends visit and using Veltra. Highly recommend!

A Truly Wonderful and Exciting Tokyo Experience!
Reviewed by: Sandra Bucao, 2016/01/06It's the first time we did the hop on- hop off bus tour itinerary in Japan and it was truly a wonderful experience. All members of the family got so excited. The bus was on time in each pick-up station and the bus assistant/receptionist was very friendly and courteous. Though it was freezing cold to stay up the deck, we enjoyed the picture-perfect sight seeing in major tourist destinations in Tokyo. The visit to the shrine in Asakusa was enriching. The sight of the beautiful Tokyo Tower was Lovely and magical. Passing through the colorful Rainbow Bridge on a very cold winter breeze at night time was awesome as we trudged our way to Aqua City at Odaiba on time for the fireworks show across the horizon. What a truly wonderful, exciting and unforgettable experience we had!

Best Tour around Tokyo - Incredible Value
Reviewed by: M Shoaib Sheikh, 2015/12/03We recently had the chance to stop by in Tokyo on our recent trip to Asia.We were really tight on schedule provided we had 21 hours layover.But then we were suggested by our Hilton Tokyo concierge to take advantage of this fantastic skybus hop on and hop off service.
There are 3 courses you can opt for all in one ticket for nearly 22 USD/person which gives you excellent value for money as taxi travel in Tokyo is VERY expensive and it is very very organised and operates in very timely fashion along with very detailed history of all the important buildings and monuments we passed by.
We took all three courses starting with Odaiba course and followed by Roppongi-Tokyo course.You can hop on and hop off as many times as you like.One of the best thing is you can hop on to next course bus at same Marunouchi Mitsubishi building so as soon as you end up with one course, you can hop on to next course bus within 10~15 mins and it gives you just enough time to use restrooms and buy something from the shops close by.The buses were WIFI equipped, neat and clean with comfortable seating.We travelled with a toddler and we had enough legroom to give him some space to flex his muscles :).Most importantly, the buses have glass roof so if you can look through them or take pictures if you aren't able to see through windows.
If you are taking train to reach Mitsubishi building, drop off at Tokyo station and you are just 2~3 minutes walk away.You can also grab a bite from Manhattan grill which is pretty close to Mitsubishi building.Without skybus tours we would not have been able to see so much of Tokyo in short span of time.

Tokyo Hop-On Hop-Off Bus
Reviewed by: Nanik Lakhani, 2015/11/28We are Canadians from Toronto and first time visitors to Japan. We had a total 1 week's time to visit 3 cities - Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. We had planned to spend 3 days in Tokyo and wanted to cover the most tourist places. Japan has a very advanced and amazing railway system, especially in Tokyo with multiple local train lines meshing the city providing excellent connectivity. We decided to take a day pass on JR Rail and see the important places ourselves. We took 1-day pass and could see only 2-3 places and were tired by end of the day due to long walks. Then we found out on the net about Tokyo Hop-On Hop-off bus for 1 or 2 days. We took 1 day pass on the Hop-On Hop-off bus and were pleasantly surprised that we could cover most major visiting spots within a day. With guided tour and convenience of hop-on hop-off it was a lot more relaxing as there was minimum walking. There was flexibility to get on to the next bus at scheduled time plus we were able to see most of Tokyo by taking all 3 Hop-On Hop-off bus lines. Staff was very courteous and helpful. It was raining for some part of the day and we were provided raincoats. We enjoyed the Hop-On Hop-off bus and we will recommend other friends to take this tour for quick tour of Tokyo.

Tour of Tokyo on SKY HOP

Even though I live in Tokyo, thanks to the guide I found something new in Tokyo. It truly changed my mood by sightseeing, shopping and the lunch. The sightseeing course is perfect for couples or families. Today we took only one course from the three. Next time I would like to try the others.

Good for Tokyoites too
