Overall, it was a trip that left little impression. It might be suitable for buying lots of souvenirs. I ended up buying a lot of souvenirs, including a horse placenta cream for about 5,000 yen for my mother-in-law and relatives, all because of the guide's voice saying, "You can only buy this here!"
At the bear ranch, we threw biscuits at the bears below (who seemed bored and didn't eat them), and it was the most boring place where I couldn't really tell what I was looking at.
When the guide started saying, "This bear beauty cream can only be bought here!" I began to wonder if the guide was getting a commission from it.
At Hell Valley, we walked through the sulfur smell, but in the end, there wasn't much to see. The outlet was just average...

全体的に思い出の薄い旅でした。お土産を沢山買うのには適してるかもです。実際乗せられて沢山お土産を買い「ここでしか買えない！」と言うガイドさんの声で馬のプラセンタ入りのクリーム5千円位のを義母や親戚用に大量購入しました。
くま牧場は下にいるクマめがけてビスケットを投げて(クマも飽き飽きしてるようで食べない)何を見てるのかよくわかんない1番つまらない場所でした。
またもガイドさんが「ここでしか買えないクマの美容クリーム！」と言い出した時にこれはマージンがガイドさんに入ってるのかな？と疑うレベル。
地獄谷では硫黄臭の中歩いて歩いて行きましたが結局大した物もなく。
アウトレットも普通で。。。
とにかくこのツアーはお勧めしないのでルートの再検討をお願いしたいです。
後悔はしてないけど2度と行きません。夫が外国人だから英語のツアーにしたせいなのかな？アジア系とインド系が多くて彼らが満足してるのかは謎です。

There was a Chinese tourist who lost their wallet and passport, but a local Chinese guide from Sapporo, who was in a hurry, found them and handed them back. In mid-January, I participated in this bus tour, and out of 47 people on the bus, 40 were from China. Each time we departed from different locations, there was about a minute of explanation in Japanese, but afterwards, the conversation continued in Chinese for 20-30 minutes. It created quite an alien atmosphere, and I constantly felt out of place on the bus. If this is such a foreigner-oriented tour, I would have appreciated being informed of this in advance as a precaution.
Additionally, outside the bus, I experienced behaviors such as people cutting in line and persistently pushing to get ahead during the lineup, which even caused some people to fall.
Throughout the tour, I often felt anxious and disappointed, but the personality of the driver and the guide was very good, and it was nice that they generally adhered to the scheduled departure times.

Sapporo, our departure point, had little snow, but Asahiyama Zoo was a winter wonderland at -6 degrees, truly representing Hokkaido! Although it was a freezing world, as long as you dress warmly, the cold is not bothersome. The zoo was a place where I could watch the active animals for hours. We had just over three hours there, but it flew by as we ate and browsed for souvenirs. For those with children, it's best to start with the must-see attractions! The kids' snow play can slow you down quite a bit. The polar bears and seals are located on the opposite side from the main entrance, so it takes time to get there. The return trip on the highway was exhausting due to many road closures, taking nearly five hours, but I'm grateful for being safely delivered on the snowy roads without any accidents.
出発地の札幌は雪が少なかったんですが、旭山動物園は雪で-6度、これぞ北海道！！という天候でよかったです。マイナスの世界ですがきちんと防寒すれば気にならない寒さでした。動物園も活発な動物の動きに何時間でもみていたい場所でした。3時間ちょっと滞在時間はありましたが、ごはんを食べたりおみやげを見たりしているとあっという間でした。子供がいる方はこれは絶対見たい！ってところから回るといいです。子供の雪遊びでなかなか前に進めません。しろくまやアザラシは団体入口とは正反対の場所にいるので行くのに時間がかかります。
帰りの高速道路は通行止めが多く5時間近くかかり疲れましたが、事故なく雪道を安全に送り届けてくれたことに感謝です。

We booked a bus tour with minimal travel burden for our first trip to Hokkaido with kids, and it was definitely the right choice!
What impressed me the most was the bus guide's stories about Hokkaido's history and culture during the journey. I learned so many things I didn't know, and it was truly an enjoyable time! I fell even more in love with Hokkaido!

I visited two tourist spots, and I think it would be quite difficult to get there by renting a car or using public transportation since the attractions are located on a high hill and there was a lot of snow. It was really great to be taken to the landmarks easily by bus, and the tour content was surprisingly fulfilling.

Considering how much you can do, it's an incredible deal! We stopped by Mushroom Kingdom before lunch, and since we were there, we tried the premium mushroom soup! The lunch seemed a bit lacking for men, so if you can eat, it might be a good idea to have something beforehand. The course to fully enjoy nature was truly the best!

It was my first time on a bus tour in Hokkaido, and I was surprised that about 80% of the participants were of Chinese descent. The guide was also from China, but they spoke Japanese as well, so I was able to enjoy the tour. I wouldn't have been able to visit so many places on my own, so it was great.

I have visited Asahiyama Zoo many times, and I often use bus tours. This time, the guide shared a lot of information about the history of Hokkaido throughout the journey, which made it enjoyable. The zoo had already started the penguin walk, so I was very satisfied.

As a day trip tour, the timing was not too tight, and it felt just right.
Since it was a tour on the 2nd of the New Year, it was a bit disappointing that there weren't many shops open, but the souvenir shop was open, so we were able to do some shopping.
I also enjoyed the foot bath during the free time because I had brought a towel in advance, and above all, our guide was very entertaining.
On the day of the tour, three buses were used, with about 120 participants. The buses were assigned based on language, and we had guides who spoke both Chinese and Japanese.
Both languages were fluent, making it a memorable tour.

日帰りツアーとしては、時間的にもそんなにキツキツでもなく、ちょうどいい感じでした。
新年早々２日のツアーのため、空いてるお店がないのが少し残念でしたが、お土産ショップも空いてたので、買い物はできました。
足湯も、タオルを事前に持っていたので、自由行動の時間に楽しめましたし、何よりガイドさん、面白かったです。
当日はバス3台、約120名の方が参加されて、言語によって、なるバスが決まりましたが、私たちは中国語と日本語のガイドさんがついてました。
両言語ともに流暢で、思い出に残るツアーでした。

I have visited Sapporo in winter many times, but I challenged myself with a bus tour for the first time. The highlight was the Usuzan Ropeway, but upon hearing that the temperature at the summit was minus 10°C, I braced myself. The initial experience and sensation were truly moving. I participated on December 28th. I joined because I wanted to show my partner the Penguin Parade at 2 PM. Since it's only available in winter, I think it's worth seeing. There were many inbound tourists. I wished they would clean the restrooms more frequently. Some were so dirty that they didn't seem like Japanese toilets. 😭

My first trip to Hokkaido was wonderful. Coming from a tropical region, it was my first time seeing the snow piled up. Lake Toya, the bear ranch, and Hell Valley were all fantastic. I think our guide, Mr. Onodera, had a tough time explaining in Japanese and Chinese for just two of us out of 32 participants, but he did it without complaint, and I truly appreciate it. I'm thinking of visiting Hokkaido again during the fresh green season, and I plan to use the service again then.

The Okurayama Jump Stadium was amazing. I took the lift up, and the view from the top was spectacular. It was a day with light snow, so I felt like a jumping athlete, enjoying the scenery of Sapporo from above, which was truly moving.

The explanations of the tourist spots were provided through earphones that allowed us to choose the language, along with additional comments from the bus guide. At first, it seemed like a child, around elementary school age, was live streaming on their smartphone, and the volume was quite loud, interfering with the explanations from the earphones. Since the guardians didn't say anything, I hesitated to say something myself, but the driver kindly addressed the issue. Thank you very much. Before the tour started, there was an explanation of the precautions, but I believe common sense is left to the participants. However, with incidents like this, I started to worry that we might need to add a note saying, "Please refrain from using devices that produce sound that may disturb other participants." The tour company has a tough job...
Since there were only seven of us and fewer stops, it felt relaxed. The bus guide was a reassuring woman with a strong presence, and the male driver seemed kind, creating an overall atmosphere that I really liked. Since it was a small group, I wished I could have asked the guide and driver for their recommendations.
Although there were fewer tourist spots, it was a day with a lot of snow, and as someone who came from a region without snow, I was very satisfied with the snowy scenery.

7名で経由地も少なめだったのでゆったりとして、バスガイドさんもドンと構えた安心感のある女性の方で、運転士の男性の方も優しそうな感じで、全体的に私は好きな雰囲気でした。少人数だったので、ガイドさんや運転士さんのオススメなども聞いてみたかったなと思いました。
観光地は少なめですが、雪がたくさん降った日だったので、雪の無い県から来た私は雪景色にも大満足でした。

About 20% were Japanese, and 80% were from China and Taiwan. The guide was Japanese and spoke Chinese very fluently, providing clear explanations and showing great attention to detail, which was excellent.

I highly recommend this for those who want to visit various places but don't want to drive on snowy roads. However, I would have appreciated a longer stay.
