All the bus seats were taken, and I wished they could have at least seated us together as a family. They said we could borrow umbrellas at the zoo, but the place to borrow them was quite far away. There were many such issues.

I unknowingly made a reservation for a tour exclusively for foreigners, and I was the only Japanese participant. The guide, Michelle, spoke in four languages, which I imagine was quite challenging. Her explanations were very clear, enjoyable, and thorough. She was kind and addressed each participant individually. The driver, Kimishima, was also cheerful and engaging. It was a safe and comfortable day. I felt lucky to have met both of them and to have participated in this tour. I was satisfied with the tour content as well. We wanted to go to the Shakotan Peninsula for our honeymoon, but since neither of us drives, we decided to book a guide, even though it was a bit pricey.
In the end, it was a great decision!
Ikuta was not only personable but also very knowledgeable! You could really feel his veteran skills!
He guided us to the places we wanted to visit with lots of interesting stories and took many photos for us! It was really helpful since it’s hard to take selfies just the two of us!
He also took us to delicious smoked food places, seafood, and sake shops! We were introduced to places that locals go to!! (The next day, we went to the restaurant recommended by Ikuta for lunch, and it was also exquisite!)
It was a packed day, and we were very satisfied! I’m so grateful that Ikuta will definitely come up in our wonderful memories from this trip.
I would love to book him again for our next trip to Hokkaido!

It was a holiday, but because the weather was not great, all the tourist spots were empty, and we were able to go around smoothly and on time. It was cold at Nakayama Pass, but we were able to see the first snow. I think it would be amazing to visit again when the weather is nice.

During the bus ride, we were able to enjoy the fun local stories from our bus guide that were unique to Hokkaido. The tour included a lunch break at the zoo, allowing us to explore the grounds first and then take a break for lunch when we started to feel tired from walking. The timing was just right. As often featured on TV, the animal behavior exhibits were very well done, and we could see each animal up close, which was fantastic.
バス乗車中はバスガイドさんの楽しい北海道ならではの地元のお話を聞きながら過ごすことができ、動物園ではランチタイムを挟んでのツアーだったので、先に園内を見学して、歩き疲れてきたところでランチ休憩で時間を持て余すことなく、ちょうど良い長さでした。

I only wanted to see Asahiyama Zoo, so this plan was perfect for my wishes. Even though 190 minutes at the zoo felt insufficient, considering the travel time, I think this was the maximum time we could get. The guide's explanations during the car ride were also great.

I made a reservation through Veltra two days ago. The taxi driver called to confirm that he would pick me up at the hotel five minutes before the scheduled time. On the way to Mount Hakodate, he shared the history of the mountain. At the summit of Mount Hakodate, we took some photos. I'm not sure if it was the same guide each time, but even if the weather is bad, just listening to the guide's tales made the tour worthwhile. The topics covered included not only the tourist sites but also the origins of place names and stories about wildlife, all of which were pleasant to listen to while gazing out the window, deepening my interest in Hokkaido. Since I don't live in Sapporo, the meeting place was a bit hard to find.
It was great to be able to visit all the sightseeing spots listed in the guidebook.
The tour guide through the headphones was easy to hear and understand.
At the Mushroom Kingdom, where we stopped for a break, I enjoyed delicious and inexpensive mushroom soup, and the lunch was also tasty.
At the end of the tour, there were many drop-off locations, and being able to get off the bus near my hotel was very convenient.
I thought the nationwide travel support would also apply to day bus tours, so it was very disappointing not to benefit from it.
札幌市在住ではないので集合場所がわかりにくかった。
ガイドブックに載っている観光名所を一通り巡れてよかった。
ヘッドフォンでのツアーガイドは聞き取りやすく、またわかりやすかった。
途中休憩のために立ち寄ったキノコ王国では美味しく安い
きのこ汁を堪能でき、昼食も美味しかった。
ツアー解散時、解散場所が多数あり、最寄りホテルの近所で
バスを降りることが出来たのもとても便利だった。
全国旅行支援は日帰りバスツアーも該当と思ったが、
恩恵を得られないのは大変残念だった。

They changed the meeting place at Otaru Canal, allowing us to have some extra time for sightseeing at one location. Thanks to that, we were also able to see Otaru Art Village. The tasting of three types each of red and white wine at Yoichi Winery was great. We arrived at Jozankei while it was still bright and were able to enjoy a soak at Yunohana Onsen.
小型バスで、一カ所の観光時間にゆとりをもたせながら、小樽運河では集合場所を変更してくださいました。
おかげで小樽芸術村も見ることができました。
余市ワイナリーでは赤白ワイン3種ずつの試飲が良かった。

It was a perfect course for catching a flight to New Chitose Airport around 5 PM. This tour is very convenient as you can choose from various options. I considered driving myself with a rental car, but since the roads were quite mountainous, I was glad I joined the tour. Along the way, the guide promptly informed us whenever we spotted something, allowing us to see cranes and deer. The weather was excellent, making Lake Mashu and Lake Akan incredibly beautiful. At Lake Akan, we had two hours of free time, so I was able to relax in the hot springs I had longed to visit. However, this meant I couldn't go into any restaurants, so I had my packed lunch by the lakeside.
午後５時ごろの新千歳空港行きの飛行機乗るのにちょうど良いコースでした。
色々予定を選べるのでとても便利なツアーです。
レンタカーで自分で運転して回ろうかと思いましたが、結構な山道だったので、ツアーに参加してよかったと思いました。
途中、ガイドさんが見かけるとすかさず教えてくださるので、タンチョウや鹿を見ることができました。
お天気がとてもよかったので、摩周湖や阿寒湖もどこもとてもきれいでした。阿寒湖では２時間自由時間があるので、念願の温泉にゆっくり入ることができました。その代わり飲食店には入ることができず、お昼ご飯は湖畔で持参したものをいただきました。

On October 25th, I participated in the "Sapporo Departure Shikotsu Lake and Toya Lake Round Trip Bus Tour with Usuzan Ropeway & Lunch." The day before had been filled with cold rain, but on the day of the tour, the weather changed completely to a clear blue sky. It was a whirlwind day visiting Shikotsu Lake, Toya Lake, Showa Shinzan, Usuzan, and the Silo Observation Deck.
Above all, the view of Ezo Fuji (Yotei Mountain) from Lake Toya was breathtaking, with not a single cloud in the sky and snow on the summit. It truly felt like a sight I could admire for hours. I'm considering joining the tour again in November...
10月25日に「札幌発支笏湖・洞爺湖周遊バスツアー 有珠山ロープウェイ＆昼食付」に参加しました。
前日は一日冷たい雨でしたが、ツアー当日は一転し抜けるような青空の中、支笏湖⇒洞爺湖⇒昭和新山⇒有珠山⇒サイロ展望台とあっという間の一日でした。
何よりも洞爺湖からの蝦夷富士（羊蹄山）は雲一つ無く山頂には冠雪もありました。
本当に何時間でも見てられるような存在感を感じました。
11月にも再度ツアー参加を考えています。。。

The meeting point at the bus terminal entrance is difficult to understand on the map. They are taking infection control measures by checking temperatures at the meeting point and ensuring alcohol disinfection every time we board the bus. ☆ Lake Shikotsu (60 minutes)····· When we board the glass boat at the designated time, there is hardly any time left. I understand that the crew needs to secure their break time, but 85 minutes here is unnecessary. I would prefer that time to be allocated to Lake Shikotsu instead. The crew also knows there’s nothing to see here, so the complete lack of explanation about how to spend our time here is the best evidence of that.
Mount Usu····· The ropeway will stop in bad weather, and in that case, we will visit the bear ranch, but if we can't ride the ropeway here, it would be the worst situation. The view from the summit was wonderful.
Others····· Since this was just a restroom break, I don't have any particular impressions. It was somewhat rushed.
The pricing, including lunch at the hotel, is not bad, but the time allocation needs to be reconsidered. Overall, I didn’t feel it was an amazing tour. If the weather is bad, I would feel quite disappointed. Honestly, I would have preferred to join a different, slightly cheaper tour that operates on weekdays and covers similar areas.

☆支笏湖（60分）·····指定時間のグラスボートに乗るとほぼ残り時間がありません。写真数枚撮ってトイレに行ってダッシュでバスに戻らないと間に合わない、ここはあと20分は時間が欲しい。
あいにく湖の透明度が悪く、支笏湖ブルーの湖面は見られなかった。
☆洞爺湖（85分）·····まず全員でホテル内で昼食。品数は多いがごく普通、不味くは無い程度。寂れた観光地、洞爺湖の写真を撮った後、他に何もする事も観る所も全くなく時間時間をかなり持て余した。ロビーでボーと座って待つだけ。乗務員の休憩時間を確保しなくてはいけないのは分かりますが、ここは85分も不要。それなら支笏湖に時間を回して欲しい。乗務員も何も見る所がない事は分かっているので、ここでの過ごした方に関しての説明が全くなかったのが何よりの証拠。
有珠山·····天候不良時はロープウェイ停止になりますが、その場合、クマ牧場の観光になりますが、ここでロープウェイに乗れなかったら、最悪ですね。
山頂から見る景色は素晴らしかったです。
他·····トイレ休憩ついでの場所なので、特に感想は無いです。まあまあ慌てる。
ホテルでの昼食を含めての金額設定は悪くはないですが、時間配分は再考の必要有り。総合して、凄く良いツアーでした‼とは思わなかった。もし天候不良の場合はかなり損した気分になりそう。
本当は同じ様な地域を回るもう少し安価の別ツアーが平日も催行してくれてたらそちらに参加したかった。

The weather was nice, and I was able to see the beautiful blue of Lake Mashu. I was also happy to encounter the red-crowned cranes several times. It was more efficient to visit the points than renting a car. I spent two hours at Akanko Onsen, where I had lunch, took photos, and enjoyed about an hour in the day-use hot springs, which was very relaxing.
お天気も良く、摩周湖の綺麗なブルーが見られました。
丹頂鶴も何度も遭遇し、嬉しかったです。
レンタカーを借りるよりも効率的にポイントを巡る事が出来ました。
2時間、阿寒湖温泉での時間は昼食、写真撮影、日帰り温泉も1時間位出来、たっぷり癒されました。

The weather, the course, the driver, and the guide were all great, but the only issue was that I have been to Lake Akan many times, so I planned to skip the sightseeing boat and just relax at a day-use hot spring. The guide was going around asking everyone about their plans. When I finally shared mine, he said, "Please say it sooner!" Well, you didn't ask, so I was just waiting!
On the way back, the airport, overnight stay, and returning on my own were a bit complicated, so it was good to have various options, but it was challenging to keep track of everything, which might have made me a bit irritated. The way he spoke was something to be mindful of.
The day-use hot spring "Akan Koso" had an outdoor bath that was limited to private rooms according to the brochure, but the bath I could access was a regular one. However, it had a natural hot spring flow, which was excellent for hot spring lovers.
天気、コース、運転手さん、ガイドさんすべて良かったけど唯一つ、私は阿寒湖は何度も来ているから観光船にも乗らず日帰り温泉に浸かって時間をつぶそうと思ってた。ガイドさんが各人の予定を聞きにまわってました。最後に私のの予定を言ったら「早く言ってくださいよ」ってお前が聞かなかったからずっと待ってたんやろ‼
帰路に空港、泊り、自分で帰ると煩雑で色々活用できるから良いけど把握するのが大変なのでイラついたのか、言い方には注意が必要。
日帰り温泉「阿寒湖荘」はパンフレットの露天風呂は個室限定で入れたのは普通の風呂だったが源泉かけ流しで温泉好きにはとても良かった。
