【Impressions】
I thought the experience named "Lake Shikotsu Kayak Experience" would take place on Lake Shikotsu, but it was actually a kayaking experience on Chitose River.
I was worried about being able to operate the kayak, but as I got used to it, I was able to steer it in the direction I wanted, which was fun. (The lecture was thorough, so I felt at ease.)
Since the experience started at 15:30, kayaking while watching the sunset was the best.

【感想】
「支笏湖カヤック体験」の名称なので、支笏湖でカヤックをやるかと思っていましたが、千歳川でのカヤック体験でした。
操船できるか心配でしたが、慣れてくると思った方向に動かせるようになって楽しかったです。（レクチャーも丁寧なので安心でした）
15：30からの体験だったので、夕日を見ながらのカヤック体験は最高でした。

I didn't know that a bus guide would be included. The veteran woman shared fun stories about Hokkaido, and her relaxed tone was just right for the long journey. Since it was my first time in Hokkaido, I found her stories very interesting. We enjoyed Asahiyama Zoo for a full three hours, which felt just right. On the way back, the guide said, "I will keep it quiet," allowing me to doze off during the ride. Since it was an unfamiliar place, and Hokkaido is quite vast, I think the tour was very convenient and good. If I have another opportunity, I would like to use a different course. One point of criticism regarding the system is that having to present a paper ticket nowadays is a bit outdated. Since it's a tour, gathering is unavoidable, but I would prefer to show a voucher on my smartphone screen instead. There are times when you might be cutting it close.

バスガイドさんが付くとは知らなかったです。ベテランの女性で北海道のことを楽しくお話してくれて、ゆったりしたトーンが長旅にちょうどよかったです。はじめての北海道でしたので、そういったお話もとても興味深く聞きました。旭山動物園はたっぷり3時間楽しんで、ちょうどよいと感じました。帰りはガイドさんは「静かにしますので」といってくださり、居眠りをしながら帰ってこれました。慣れない場所、しかも広い北海道ですので、ツアーはとても便利でいいと思います。また機会がありましたら、別のコースで利用してたいです。1点だけ、システムにダメ出ししますと、いまどきチケットを紙で出さないとダメというのはちょっといただけないかな。ツアーなので集合は仕方ないですが、スマホの画面などでバウチャー見せればOKにしてほしいです。ギリギリで乗ることもありますし。

It was great to efficiently visit the main tourist spots. I was worried about my 78-year-old mother’s stamina, but since it was a tour without a guide or escort, we were able to explore each location at our own pace within the allotted time, which was not a problem. We enjoyed relaxing at a restaurant with a nice view, and my mother was happy to go at her own pace.

The frequent stops at various spots made restroom breaks manageable. Considering the transportation costs to Hakodate, it was very economical.

The flexibility in extending our stay at certain locations was also very good. It became a wonderful memory! Thank you!

The monastery we visited first in the morning was still quiet with few tourists, allowing us to enjoy the sightseeing in a serene and sacred atmosphere, which was great. In the end, they dropped me off at my desired sightseeing spot, and the enjoyable time flew by quickly.

We visited Asahiyama Zoo, Ramen Village, Patchwork Road, Patchwork Hill, Shikisai no Oka, and the Blue Pond, covering the highlights of Asahikawa, Biei, and Furano in one day. The driver allowed us to enter the zoo from the top of the hill to avoid fatigue, which made it very enjoyable!

Although it was a sunny day at Lake Shikotsu, the strong winds caused the sightseeing boat to be canceled, which was disappointing. However, I was still able to enjoy a very pleasant time just walking around. We had lunch at a hotel by Lake Toya, but the free time afterward was too long, and I didn't know what to do with myself. At Mount Usu, we took the ropeway to the summit and walked for about 7 to 8 minutes, but I highly recommend going to the crater observation deck! It became a wonderful memory.

支笏湖では晴天にも関わらず、風が強くて遊覧船が欠航となり残念でしたが、散策するだけでもとても気持ちのいい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。洞爺湖畔のホテルでランチとなりましたが、そのランチの後の自由時間が長すぎて持て余しました。有珠山では、ロープウェイで山頂まで行き、7,8分程歩きますが火口展望台まで行くのがおすすめです！！とてもいい思い出となりました。

Farm Tomita and Shikisai no Oka were beautiful with flowers throughout the seasons. In particular, the view of the flower fields from the top of Shikisai no Oka was spectacular. I took an underwater observation boat at Lake Shikotsu, but unfortunately, the weather was bad and the visibility was poor, so I enjoyed the scenery from the deck. However, just before the boat arrived at the pier, I was miraculously able to see the stunning Shikotsu Blue and many Ezo chub, which was moving. At Lake Toya, I enjoyed a leisurely stroll. I rode an engine-powered swan boat and was able to spend time on the lake while feeling the breeze. The mushroom soup I had in the Mushroom Kingdom was the best, and I was able to buy a lot of mushroom souvenirs. I went up to the summit via the Usuzan Ropeway and was able to admire the magnificent nature.

The scenery was wonderful, but equally impressive was the thoughtful care of our guide. The guide and driver from Chuo Bus worked seamlessly together, providing accurate guidance and advice at key points. I especially felt that the guide was a true professional in hospitality. Thanks to these two, this bus tour became my most unforgettable memory of Hokkaido.

If I visit Hokkaido again, I would like to use Chuo Bus's bus tour again.

　支笏湖では水中展望船に乗りましたが、あいにくの天気で透明度が悪く、デッキでの風景を楽しみました。でも、船が桟橋に着く直前には、奇跡的にも支笏湖ブルーと多くのエゾウグイを見ることができ感動しました。洞爺湖では、自由散策を楽しみました。エンジン付きのスワンボートに乗り、湖上の風を感じながら、湖で過ごすことができました。キノコ王国で食べたキノコ汁は最高で、キノコのお土産もたくさん購入できました。有珠山ロープウェイで山頂まであがり、雄大な自然を眺めることができました。
　景色も素晴らしかったですが、それに劣らず素晴らしかったのはガイドさんの細やかな心遣いです。中央バスのガイドさんと運転手さんは息もぴったりで、要所要所で的確な案内とアドバイスをしてくださいました。特にガイドさんは、ホスピタリティーのプロだと実感しました。この二人のおかげで、このバスツアーが忘れられない北海道の一番の思い出となりました。
　もしまた北海道を訪れることがあれば、また中央バスのバスツアーを使いたいと思います。

I was wondering how the start would go since we couldn't begin the reception until the scheduled time. Also, I was quite concerned about the water clarity due to the heavy rain the day before. However, once we started, I forgot all about that and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the pleasant experience!

After that, I couldn't see Lake Mashu due to the impressive fog, but I had a fulfilling time at Mount Iou, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Akan. I could feel a bit of the Ainu people's way of life in harmony with nature, which was insightful. After that, I soaked in a hot spring to relieve my fatigue and had a marimo soft serve, which had something that resembled marimo in it. Since I lead a busy daily life, it was a truly wonderful time.

期待してなかったのですが、バスから丹頂鶴が3回も見れたことに感動です。その後霧の摩周湖は、見事な霧で観えなかったですが、硫黄山、屈斜路湖、阿寒湖と充実した時間が過ごせました。アイヌ民族の自然と調和した生き方が少し感じられて、参考になりました。その後温泉に入って疲れを取り、マリモソフトを食べましたが、マリモらしき物が入ってました。忙しい毎日を過ごしてるので、とても素敵なお時間でした。

The soft serve ice cream at the service area on the way there was delicious.
The bus arrives at the east entrance of Asahiyama Zoo (on the mountain), and it might have been better to have lunch at the restaurant there before entering the zoo (since there are many menu options).
The return bus also departs from the east entrance, so you will go down the slope after looking from above and then climb back up to return (comfortable walking shoes are a must).
The action exhibits were full of highlights throughout the park.
As seen on TV, the spotted seals were swimming inside the tube.
During the munching time, the zookeeper also explains about the animals.

It was a day with on-and-off rain, but during our experience, the rain stopped and we were able to enjoy it. Although there were waves at Lake Shikotsu, we were able to enter the water a little while being mindful of safety. The highlight was the Chitose River. The water was clear, and we could see blooming plants and decaying trees. Thanks to our guide's careful instructions, I was able to paddle well even though it was my first time kayaking. It was fun to talk about the guide's love for Lake Shikotsu and various gourmet foods in Hokkaido.

This became one of my enjoyable memories from summer vacation. I'm glad I made a reservation with Ocean Days. Thank you!

雨が降ったり止んだりの日でしたが、体験時間帯は雨が止んで楽しむことができました。支笏湖は波が立っていたのですが、安全に配慮しながら少しだけ入ることができました。メインは千歳川。水がクリアで花が咲いている植物や朽ちない木などを見ることができました。ガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくれたおかげでカヤック初体験でも上手に漕ぐことができました。ガイドさんの支笏湖愛や北海道のグルメなど色々お話できて楽しかったです。
夏休みの楽しい思い出のひとつになりました。
オーシャンデイズさんで予約して良かったなと思いました。ありがとうございました。

The weather was nice, and the lake was clear and much more beautiful than I imagined. I was very satisfied to see fish in the river! The only regret I have is forgetting to put sunscreen on my legs. I would like to participate in the winter as well!
