This was my second visit to Furano and Biei. Last time I rented a car, but this time I joined a bus tour, and honestly, I was a bit anxious about the manners of foreign tourists. I had been hesitant to participate since it was mentioned that there would be announcements in foreign languages. However, once we set off, the guide clearly communicated important information to the passengers, and I didn't experience any of the discomfort I had anticipated. 2回目の富良野・美瑛でしたが、前回はレンタカー、今回はバスツアーで（外国人のマナーに）正直不安がありました。外国語のアナウンスもあると書かれていたので、ずっと参加を迷っていました。発射するとガイドさんが注意事項をきちっと乗客に伝えてくれた事もあり、予想していた不快なことは全くありませんでした。私たちの目の席で英語でしゃべり続けていた３人もガイドさんが１人を別席に移して下さり静かになりました。
　所謂、ガイドさんらしい「ガイド」はしませんとおっしゃっていたガイドさんも押しつけがましくなく、軽妙なおしゃべりを楽しませてくださいました。また運転手さんも、乗客が乗り降りする際に必ず声掛けをして下さり感心しました。長時間の運転ご苦労様でした。
　立ち寄りの観光地の滞在時間も程よい長さで良かったと思います。前回訪問の記憶がよみがえり、新たな楽しい記憶が刻まれて夫婦２人で「よかったね」と話しています。大変ありがとうございました。

最後に、参加するかどうか悩んだ１つの要因は「会社の顔が見えない」事でした。変なツアー会社に当たったらどうしよう？変なバス会社だったらどうしよう？　無駄な心配でしたが、WEB上でもアピールされた方が良いのではないでしょうか？心配されている日本人の方が他にもいらっしゃる気がします。

On September 16, 2025, my spouse and I participated in the tour. We boarded and disembarked at Fisherman's Wharf. We were blessed with a clear sunny day and were able to enjoy the sights of Mount Iou, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Akan, but the beauty of Lake Mashu (our second visit) was truly breathtaking.

The female bus guide (tour conductor?) was exceptional; I have encountered many guides both domestically and internationally, but without exaggeration, she was simply wonderful. For over an hour after the bus started, she stood at the front providing continuous commentary, and after we got off the bus, her attention to detail in guiding and taking photos was impressive.

I wanted to go see the Blue Pond, but it was difficult to plan using public transportation, so I joined this tour. I had assumed that canoes are prone to tipping over, but the guide told me, "Capsizing almost never happens; if it does, it's intentional." This made me feel very reassured about boarding. There was a brief rain shower, and the sun shone brightly at times, allowing us to enjoy the weather. Once we paddled into the shade, it became a truly wonderful experience. The guide was attentive, had a great sense of humor, and shared a lot of knowledge, which made it enjoyable. They also took photos and sent them to us via AirDrop after we landed, so there was no risk of dropping our belongings in the water (smartphones, car keys, wallets, etc. can be stored in a locked locker).

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to Mount Hakodate. We arrived at the observation deck, passing by the crowded ropeway station. Despite the crowds, our guide showed us around and took many photos for us.

We had planned a 90-minute course, which included a tour of Hachiman-zaka and the church group on the way back to the hotel, but we ended up at the recommended Lucky Pierrot. It was so delicious that we went there twice during our stay.

We are grateful for the full time our guide spent with us.
