I participated in mid-February 2020. When I arrived at the meeting place, I was relieved to have someone carefully teach me how to put on the dry suit and help me with it. After a short 5-minute drive, we reached a small cove on Lake Shikotsu, where an area about the size of two tennis courts was frozen. From a distance, the white and transparent ice looked mottled. I learned that the lake water freezes clear, while the snow that accumulates on top freezes white. At first, I thought the transparent ice was thin and melting, but it turned out to be quite thick. The guide brought a pickaxe and let me borrow it to try to break the ice, but it wouldn't break at all. When I picked up a piece of broken ice, it had a unique crystalline shape that I had never seen before. I could also enter the lake from the edge of the ice. It was surprisingly warm for this time of year, with an outside temperature of 5°C and a water temperature of 2°C, so I hardly felt any cold except on my face, which was directly exposed to the water. By the way, I wore a T-shirt and sweatpants under the dry suit, and I had adhesive heat packs on my toes, but I was slightly sweating after the experience. Since I intentionally didn't let the air out of the dry suit, I floated comfortably in the water, which made me feel secure even though I couldn't swim. Floating without feeling cold while gazing at the blue sky was very pleasant, and I wished I could have stayed like that for another hour. The guide also lent me a snorkel, so even though my face was extremely cold, I could observe the underside of the ice and the bottom of the lake closely. The time spent standing on the ice and being in the lake was about 40-50 minutes, and with the remaining time for putting on and taking off the dry suit, moving around, and settling the payment, the total duration was just a little over an hour. Since it wasn't cold, it felt too short, and I would have liked to have at least double the time. I was very satisfied to have such a rare experience that is hard to come by.

2020年2月中旬に参加しました。集合場所につくとドライスーツの着方を丁寧に教えてもらえ、また着るのも手伝ってもらえるので安心でした。車で5分くらいの支笏湖の小さな入り江のほとりに行くとテニスコート２個分くらいのエリアが凍ってました。遠くから見ると白い氷と透明な氷がまだらに見えました。これは湖の水がそのまま凍ると透明になり、降り積もった雪が凍ると白くなるそうです。最初透明な氷は厚みがなくて溶けかかってるのかなぁと思いましたがそんな事はなくかなり分厚い表層でした。ガイドさんがツルハシを持ってきていて貸してもらい割ろうとしましたが全然割れませんでした。割れている氷を手に取ると見たことのない形で結晶化していて珍しかったです。氷の端から湖に入ることも出来ました。この時期にしてはとても暖かく外気温5℃、水温2℃との事で水が直接触れる顔以外は寒さ冷たさはほぼ感じませんでした。ちなみにドライスーツの下はTシャツと上下スウェットを着込み、足先には貼るカイロを着けていましまが、体験後うっすら汗ばんでいる程でした。ドライスーツの中の空気をあえて抜かずに入るので水にプカプカ浮くので泳げなくても安心でした。冷たさを感じずにプカプカ浮いて青空を眺めているととても気持ちよかったのであと１時間くらいこうしていたかったです。ガイドさんからシュノーケルも借りれるので、顔がめちゃくちゃ冷たいですが、氷の裏側を見たり湖の底をじっくり観察することも出来ます。氷の上に立ったり湖に入ってる時間は40-50分程で残り時間でドライスーツ着たり脱いだりの準備と移動、精算などで全部で1時間とちょっとの所要時間でした。寒くなかったので、もう倍くらいの時間あっても良いくらい短く感じました。なかなか出来ない珍しい体験ができてとても満足です。

I think the sightseeing time is too short. Especially at Lake Toya, the time allotted is not enough for women to enjoy the hot springs. I would like to see either some activities cut or the time extended.
Regarding the meals at Lake Toya, I had asked in advance, but the carrots were not pre-boiled and the tempura was cold.
With so many people giving feedback about the meals, isn't there any consideration to change the dining location?

観光時間が短すぎかなと思います。とくに洞爺湖での温泉は、この時間じゃ女性にはまず無理ですね。どこか削るか時間を伸ばすかしてほしいです。
洞爺湖は食事について他の方のコメントがあったので、こちらで事前に質問したにも関わらず人参が下ゆでされていないし、天ぷらも冷たかった。
こんなに、色々な方から食事について意見があって、食事の場所を変えるとかの検討はされないんでしょうか？

I participated in a tour on November 1, 2019. Here’s some information I found out by actually going there.

• Footbath at Lake Toya
After lunch at Manseikaku, I found a footbath while strolling around the area. It’s about a 2-minute walk if you enter the road on the mountain side. The footbath is located under the red roof in the photo, and there was also a towel vending machine.

• Lake Toya Milk Pudding at the Silo Observation Deck
This is a souvenir sold exclusively at Lake Toya. There are also other items available that are exclusive to the observation deck. Since it was crowded and the stay was short, I recommend buying your desired souvenirs first and then enjoying the view.

• Comfortable even on a long tour
Perhaps because I participated on a weekday, there was plenty of space, and even though I was alone, the seat next to me was empty, so I could relax without worrying. There were power outlets, so I didn’t have to worry about charging, and the headphone guide made the tour feel shorter.

• Affected by the weather
While Lake Shikotsu was sunny, the boat was canceled due to high waves. There was light rain at Mount Usu, but the ropeway was fine. There was no snow and no traffic jams, so the bus was on time.

As mentioned in other experiences, it was a bit disappointing that lunch was slightly cold.

2019/11/1(金)のツアーに参加しました。実際に行ってみてわかった情報を紹介します。

• 洞爺湖の足湯
万世閣での昼食の後、周辺を散策したところ足湯を見つけました。一本山側の道に入った場所で2分くらいで行けます。写真の赤い屋根の下に足湯があり、タオルの自販機もありました。

•サイロ展望台の洞爺湖ミルクプリン
洞爺湖限定で販売しているお土産です。他にも展望台限定のものが置いてあります。混雑していたうえに滞在時間が短かったので、目当てのお土産は先に買って景色を楽しんでください。

•長いツアーでも快適
平日に参加したためか席に余裕があり、1人参加でしたが隣が空いていたので気を遣わず過ごせました。コンセントがあるので充電の心配もなく、ヘッドホンのガイドもあるのでそれほど長く感じませんでした。

•天候に左右される
支笏湖は晴れていましたが、船は波が高く欠航でした。有珠山は小雨、ロープウェイは大丈夫でした。雪が全くなく渋滞もなかったのでバスも遅れなしでした。

他の体験談にもいくつか書かれていますが、昼食が少し冷めていたのが残念でした。

The sea, mountains, and snow were beautiful. The hot springs were nice, and the view from there was also lovely. I would like to use it again. ^^*

水海も山も雪も綺麗でした　温泉も良かったし　そこから見えた景色も綺麗でした　また利用したいです　^^*

I thought 10 hours might be long, but there were so many places to visit that the time flew by. Since the Ice Festival was being held at Lake Shikotsu, I wished I had a bit more time to enjoy the sights, considering the time spent navigating the unfamiliar snowy roads. At Lake Toya, we had a regular lunch and took photos outside, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the hot springs. Overall, I was more than satisfied and had a great time. Both the driver and the guide were very pleasant, making for a wonderful trip. Among the participants, my mother was the oldest at 74 years old, but even older guests can enjoy it without getting tired.

10時間長いかなぁと思っていましたが、周るところが多いので、あっという間に過ぎました。
支笏湖では氷濤まつりが開催されていたので、慣れない雪道を往復する時間を考えたらもう少しゆっくり見る時間が欲しかったです。洞爺湖でも普通に昼食取って外に出て写真撮っていたら、残念ながら温泉に入る時間までは取れません。でも、全体的には十二分に楽しめて満足出来ました。運転手さんもガイドさんもとても感じがよくていい旅になりました。今回参加した中では母が74歳で最高齢だったようですが、年配の方でも疲れず十二分に楽しめますよ。

Lake Shikotsu is very beautiful and well worth a visit. The highlight of this trip is lunch. Very nice environment. Sitting by the window, while eating Japanese food, while admiring the snowy scenery of Lake Toya, very fantastic. There is also a foot onsen near the hotel. The ropeway of Mount Usu is also very interesting. You can see both Lake Toya and the volcano.

I signed up for this experience because I thought, "This is something you can't do often!" since you can play on the ice in a lake in mid-winter. However, I was worried about whether the ice would be solid due to this year's record warm winter, so I directly inquired before signing up, and they responded quickly and very kindly. They assured me that the ice was fine, so I was able to sign up with peace of mind.

The actual time spent playing on the ice was about 30 minutes, including preparation and wrap-up. Following the instructions, I applied a heat pack to my toes and wore a dry suit, which made it completely comfortable (though it was also a day with no wind, which they called "perfect for ice walking").

Usually, I would expect to take photos with a Nordic atmosphere amidst a snowy landscape while playing on the ice, but this time there was almost no snow, resulting in images set against a rather bleak winter scenery, which was disappointing.

However, I was satisfied with the experience of hearing the sound of the ice cracking as I took my first step and the chime-like sounds of broken ice colliding in the water, all while floating thanks to the buoyancy of the dry suit, gazing up at the blue sky. The staff were all friendly, and my middle and high school sons, who are at a difficult age, seemed to enjoy themselves without hesitation. Thank you very much.

　真冬の湖で氷遊びが出来ると言う事で、「これはなかなか出来ない体験！」と申し込みました。
　しかしながら、今年の記録的な暖冬で氷が張っているのか心配で申し込み前に直接問い合わせをしたところ、迅速かつとても親切に対応して頂きました。
氷は問題ないとの事で、安心して申し込むことが出来ました。
　体験は準備から終わりまでの時間で実際氷遊びをしているのは30分程度です。ご案内の通りにホカロンをつま先に張ってドライスーツを着た事もあり、全く寒くなかったです。（この日は風もない「アイスウォーク日和」とお墨付きを頂いた日だったからと言うのもありますが。）
　例年通りならば、雪景色の中での氷遊びでちょっと北欧の様な雰囲気の写真が撮れたかと思いますが、今回は雪がほぼなくて、殺風景な冬景色の中での画像となってしまったのは残念でした。
　でも、自分が踏み出した一歩から氷が割れていく音や、水の中で割れた氷同士がぶつかって奏でる風鈴の様な音を聞きながら、ドライスーツのお陰で（浮力が付与）ぷかっと浮かびながら、青空を仰ぐ癒しの時間を体験出来て、満足でした。
　スタッフの方々は皆さんフレンドリーで、難しい年齢の中・高校生男子の息子たちも臆することなく楽しんだ様です。どうもありがとうございました。

The instructor was very kind and explained everything in detail, which allowed me to successfully ride the kayak. Due to strong winds from the typhoon, we couldn't go to Lake Shikotsu and instead paddled up the Chitose River. The Chitose River... the water was so clear. I was thrilled when I saw fish and shrimp. During the kayaking, the instructor took many photos, and I received them immediately after the experience via AirDrop. It was a fun and fulfilling experience.

　インストラクターさんがとても親切で丁寧に説明をしてくださったので，うまくカヤックに乗ることができました。
　台風からの強風で波が高く，支笏湖には行くことができず，千歳川をのぼっていきました。千歳川・・・とても水がきれいでした。魚やスジエビが見れた時にはテンションがあがりました。
　カヤック中はインストラクターさんが何枚も写真を撮ってくれ，写真は体験終了後にair dropを通じてすぐいただけます。
　楽しく充実した体験でした。
　

I was surprised by the price, as it included a packed tour taking us to various places, a wonderful hotel, a delicious lunch, and even the fee for the Usuzan Ropeway! The guide, with a lovely smile, was kind and thoughtful, and spoke beautiful Japanese, which made me feel a renewed respect as a Japanese person. I had a great time! Thank you very much.

あちこち連れて行って下さり盛り沢山のツアーなのに　素敵なホテルで美味しい昼食と有珠山ロープウェイ料金まで含まれこの値段でびっくりでした！　笑顔の素敵なガイドさんは親切で、心遣いも素晴らしく、美しい日本語でお話くださり、日本人として改めて尊敬してしまいました。楽しかったです！ありがとうございました。

I thought it was understandable that we couldn't ride the ropeway due to bad weather, but it was a bit disappointing that the alternative was just a bear farm and some snacks. I participated alone, and the feeling of being left behind during lunch was a little sad. However, it was great to be able to explore an area that I wouldn't normally be able to visit in just one day, and the audio guide on the bus was very helpful for sightseeing.

悪天候でロープーウェイに乗れなかったのしょうがないと思いましたが、でもその代わりが熊牧場と少しのお菓子っていうのは少し残念でした。
1人で参加しましたが昼食時の居残り給食感が少し悲しかったです。
自分ではなかなか周れない地域を1日で、周れるのとバス車内のイヤホンでの観光案内はとてもよかったです。

A day trip from Sapporo with lunch included is a convenient distance. Moreover, it would be impossible to visit this many tourist spots using public transportation on your own, so it was a very worthwhile course.

札幌発で日帰りツアーとしては手軽な距離で昼食付。尚且つ自分で公共交通機関で行くとこれだけの観光地を廻るのは無理なので、とてもお得感の有るコースでした。

I think the time allocation was good, but if we're going to soak in the hot springs after lunch, I would have liked an extra 30 minutes. It was also disappointing that the tempura for lunch was cold.

時間配分は、良かったかと思いますが、
昼食後に温泉に入るなら、後３０分は欲しかったかな？とも思います。
昼食の天ぷらが冷めていたのも、残念でした。

The weather was unfortunately bad on the day, but I had a great time. If I have the opportunity to visit Hokkaido again, I would like to participate.

当日はあいにくの天候でしたが非常に楽しめました。
また北海道に遊びに行く機会があれば参加したいです。

During my first visit to Hokkaido, I was worried since it was the season when snow started to fall, but I was able to fully enjoy the great nature and hot springs! Although it was snowing, it stopped at Lake Toya, allowing me to enjoy the distant scenery! Above all, it was definitely the right choice to soak in the hot springs! I had never seen a shampoo bar before, and the hot springs felt so good that I wanted to stay in them longer. Next time I go to Hokkaido, I want to see the lavender fields in Furano during early summer! I'll be counting on Beltora again!

初めての北海道で雪が降り出した季節と言うこともあり心配してましたが、大自然と温泉を満喫出来ました！
雪が降ってたましたが、洞爺湖では止んでて遠くの景色を楽しむことが出来ました！
何よりも温泉入って正解でした！
シャンプーバーなど見たことがなく、温泉も気持ちよく、もっと温泉入りたくなりました。
次に北海道行くときは初夏に富良野ラベンダー畑が見たいです！
またベルトラさんにお願いしますね！

The tourist bus information center was hard to find. I think the use of earphones on the bus is great because you can hear everything clearly. However, I was disappointed with the lunch. I had seen the previously posted messages, but the issues pointed out had not been fixed, and I was surprised that the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was served cold without a lid. Was it managed by a foreign company? I really think chawanmushi should be served warm. What was the purpose of the posts? The planning team should be the one to seek improvements! The guide and the driver were both good.

観光バスの案内所がわかりにくかったです。車内のイアホンの利用は、聞こえないということが無いのですごくいいと思います。
ただ、昼食は、ガッカリでした。予め投稿されたメッセージを見てましたが指摘されたことが直っていなくて茶碗蒸しの蓋がなくて冷たいのには驚きました。外資系の経営でしたか？やっぱり茶碗蒸しは、暖かいものを出して欲しいです。何のための投稿でしょうか？企画されたところが改善を求めるべきです！
ガイド、運転手さんの対応は良かったです。

I participated during a very cold period when even the water was freezing, but with the rental of dry suits and knit caps, I was able to fully enjoy the activities without worrying about the cold. The guide (a former ranger!) provided insights about the nature of the lake and took photos, allowing us to leisurely cruise around Lake Shikotsu and the Chitose River. Even as a beginner, I was able to paddle the kayak easily and without much effort. I definitely want to join again with my family (the kids) during summer vacation! Thank you to all the staff.

水も凍るとても寒い時期に参加しましたが、ドライスーツやニット帽のレンタルもあってアクティビティ中は寒さも気にならずに満喫しました。ガイドさん（元レンジャー！）が湖の自然をガイドしてくれたり写真を撮ってくれたりと終始のんびりと支笏湖&千歳川をクルージング。初心者でも簡単に、そしてそんなに力も要らずにカヤックが漕げました。次は夏休みに是非家族（子どもたち）と参加したいです！スタッフの皆さん、ありがとうございました。

It was a satisfying tour where I could see the natural beauty of Hokkaido in just one day. However, I was disappointed that the lunch hot pot was somewhat undercooked, the vegetables were hard, and the fried items were cold.

1日で自然な北海道見れて満足できるツアーでした。ただ、ランチのお鍋は半生っぽいのもあって野菜も硬く、揚げ物も冷たかったのが残念でした。

It was very good. The guide and the driver were kind and it was fun. The snowy scenery was amazing.

There was one disappointing thing: lunch. First, the restaurant was cold. The rice was cold. The chawanmushi was also cold in a container without a lid. There was a chicken hot pot, but the meat was very large and I wondered if it was cooked through. The slices of carrot in the pot remained hard until the fire went out. The time for cooking with the fire starter was limited, yet it wasn't pre-cooked... Honestly, I was disappointed. The restaurant was cold, and although there were small cakes, there were no warm drinks... I might have needed to ask for them, but we left the restaurant early and had extra time afterward. I was really looking forward to lunch in Hokkaido, so it was disappointing. The taste was good, though... My friend who went with me said the same thing.

But other than that, it was really good. I'm grateful to the fun guide and driver. If it were the same guide and driver again, I would like to request them again. Thank you! Please keep up the good work.

残念なことがひとつ
昼食です。まずレストランが寒い。ごはんが冷めている。
茶碗蒸しも蓋のないままの容器で冷めている。
鶏のなべもついていたのですが肉がとても大きく火が通っているのか？
ニンジンのスライスも鍋に入っていたのですが結局　火が消える最後まで
硬いままでした。着火剤で煮える時間は限られているのに下茹でもしていない・・正直ガッカリでした。レストランも寒いし小さいケーキがあるのに
温かい飲み物もない・・こちらからお願いすればよかったのかもですが
早々にレストランを出て後は時間が余りました。
昼食は北海道だしとっても楽しみにしていたのに残念です。味は美味しかったから・・・。
一緒に行ったお友達も同じこと言ってました。

でもそれ以外はほんとによかったです。
楽しいガイドさんと運転手さんに感謝です。
今回のガイドさんと運転手さんだったらまたお願いしたいです。

It was great to efficiently tour Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya. The audio guides are available not only in Japanese but also in Chinese and English, which was convenient as I didn't have to interpret for my companions who don't understand Japanese. However, since we were a group, it might be unavoidable, but at the restaurant at Manseikaku, while the taste wasn't bad, everything except the salt-grilled chicken hot pot was completely cold, which was disappointing. Since there was also a buffet at the same restaurant, I think it would be nice to have the option to switch to the buffet for the meal.

支笏湖・洞爺湖を効率的に観光出来て、良かったです。音声案内が日本語だけでなく、中国語や英語もあるので、日本語がわからない同行者に、通訳する必要もなく、便利でした。ただ、団体なので仕方ないのでしょうが、万世閣のレストランでの食事で、味も悪くはないのですが、とり塩小鍋以外は、すべてのものが冷え切っていて、残念でした。同じレストランでビュッフェもあったので、食事をビュッフェに変更できるオプションがあればいいと思いました。

At the highly transparent Lake Shikotsu, I was looking forward to enjoying a sightseeing boat, but it was canceled due to strong winds. It was very disappointing, but at Lake Toya, I was able to experience the lakeside of the hotel where I had my meal, the Usuzan Ropeway, and the Silo Observatory, all surrounded by nature. However, there wasn't much time left, so I couldn't enter the bear ranch, and I would have preferred to skip the Mushroom Kingdom before the meal to have more time at Usuzan. On the way back, it was convenient to be able to get off at places like Susukino.

透明度の高い支笏湖では、遊覧船を楽しみにしていたのですが強風のため運航中止。とても残念でしたが、洞爺湖では食事したホテルの湖畔や有珠山ロープウェイ、サイロ展望台と大自然に触れることが出来ました。
ただ、予定時間が余りなくクマ牧場へは入場出来ず、できれば食事前のキノコ王国を無しにして有珠山の時間をとってほしかった。
帰りは、すすきの等途中下車できるのが便利でした。

I had a great time being taken around from morning until evening. Both Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya were very beautiful. Mount Usu was foggy, so I couldn't see anything from the ropeway, but I think I'll come back someday. The lunch at Banseikaku was also luxurious. The guide and the driver were cheerful, which was nice.

　朝から夕方まで連れまわしてもらい楽しかったです。支笏湖、洞爺湖ともにとても美しかったです。有珠山はガスっててロープウエイは何も見えなかったのでまたいつか来ようと思います。万世閣の昼ご飯も豪華でした。ガイドさんと運転手さんが明るくて良かったですね。

The clear kayak experience was amazing! I thought I might have to give up because of the strong winds at Lake Shikotsu, but surprisingly, they said, "You can do it!" We spent two hours on the Chitose River. There were various missions, and I might have enjoyed this more than the lake itself! The fun conversations with the guides and taking commemorative photos were great. I did have a little mishap getting out and ended up with one foot soaking wet, but that became a good memory! If you're going kayaking, I recommend Shikotsukamui!

クリアカヤック体験、支笏湖の風が強くて断念かと思いましたが、まさかの「できますよー」千歳川で2時間。色々ミッションもあって、ひょっとして湖よりこっちが楽しかったかも？と思いました。ガイドさん達との楽しい会話や記念撮影。下りるのにちょっと失敗して片足ずぶ濡れになったけどそれもいい思い出になりました！カヤックならシコツカムイ！おすすめです♬

The cost performance was excellent. I was able to enjoy both the lake and the mountains at this price. The view is beautiful and very soothing. The lunch was also quite delicious.

コスパが最高でした。この値段でみずうみも山も楽しむことができました。眺めが綺麗で、癒やしです。昼食も結構美味しいですよ。

Despite the heavy rain, it was still enjoyable. Lake Shikotsu was beautiful even in the rain, and kayaking on the lake made for great memories.

大雨の中でしたが、それでも楽しかったです。
支笏湖は、雨でも綺麗でしたし、カヤックで湖を散策できて、いい思い出になりました。

I enjoyed riding a boat on Lake Shikotsu, taking in the clear lake bottom and surrounding scenery. At Lake Toya, I savored a meal and enjoyed the hot springs, and at Mount Usu, I took the ropeway and enjoyed the view from the summit while eating soft serve ice cream. Unfortunately, due to rain, I couldn't take photos of Nakajima Island in Lake Toya from the Silo Observatory, but it was a well-balanced tour. I tend to get bored if there’s too much focus on nature, scenery, transportation, or food, but the overall length of the tour was just right.

支笏湖で船に乗り、透明感の高い湖底や周囲の景色を楽しみ、洞爺湖では食事と温泉を楽しみ、有珠山ではロープウェイや山頂からの景色を楽しみソフトクリームを食べました。残念ながら、サイロ展望台では雨のため洞爺湖の中島を含む写真を撮れなかったのですがバランスがよいツアーでした。どうして自然、景色、乗り物、食事などに偏りがあると飽きてしまうのですがツアー全体の時間の長さもちょうど良かったです。

Thank you for allowing us to leisurely visit places that are difficult to explore individually, such as Lake Shikotsu, Lake Toya, the sightseeing boat, and Mount Usu and Showa Shinzan, all within a limited time. Hokkaido was vast and beautiful! I appreciate the ride back to near the hotel.

個人ではまわれない行程の支笏湖、洞爺湖､遊覧船、有珠山昭和新山等限られた時間にゆったりとまわって頂き、ありがとうございました。北海道は大きく綺麗でした！帰りはホテル直近迄送って頂き感謝です。

I participated with my son.
It was my first experience with a bus tour, but I was very satisfied as we were able to visit all the places I wanted to go.
The weather was nice, and the scenery was amazing.

I had high expectations for lunch at the Lakeside Hotel, but it was a bit cold, which was disappointing.

As an option, I really wanted to go to a hot spring, so I squeezed it in despite the time constraints.
It was a lovely hot spring, but I would have been happier with a bit more time.

I discovered the convenience, ease, and fun of bus tours.

息子と2人で参加しました。
バスツアー初体験でしたが、行きたかった所に全て行けて大満足でした。
お天気も良く、景色も最高でした。

レイクサイドホテルでの昼食だったので期待してしまいましたが、少し冷めていて残念でした。

オプションで、どうしても温泉に入りたかったので時間がない中、無理矢理入ってきました。
素敵な温泉でしたがもう少し時間があったら嬉しいです。

バスツアーの便利さ、楽さ、楽しさを知ってしまいました。
素敵な時間をありがとうございました。

It was raining on and off, but when we tried to go out to Lake Shikotsu, it started to rain quite heavily. We were able to observe river fish closely under the bridge. Although we ended up doing a tour on the river instead of the lake, my daughter seemed to enjoy catching shrimp. I hope we can experience the lake course next time.

雨が降ったりやんだりでしたが、支笏湖に出ようとしたら結構強い雨が降り、橋の下で川魚をじっくり観察できました。湖に出ないで川でのツアーになりましたが、娘はエビ捕りが楽しかった様です。次回は湖コースが体験出来ると良いなぁと思いました。

Mount Usu was shrouded in thick fog, and while we took the ropeway to the summit, we couldn't see the crater or Lake Toya. At Lake Shikotsu, strong winds caused the sightseeing boat to be canceled. Although the tour is affected by the weather, there were many great sights to see, such as Showa Shinzan and the Shikotsu Lake Visitor Center. The foot bath at Lake Toya was very pleasant. On the bus, we could listen to various sightseeing explanations in four languages through headphones, which kept us entertained. I think it would be an amazing tour if the weather is good.

有珠山は霧が濃くロープウェイで頂上迄は行きましたが火口も洞爺湖も見られず。支笏湖では風が強くで水中観光船が欠航でした。天気に左右されるツアーではありますが、昭和新山や支笏湖ビジターセンターなどが観光出来て良かったものも沢山。洞爺湖では足湯が気持ちいい。バスの中では色々な観光説明が4ヶ国語でヘッドフォンで聞くことが出来るし退屈しなかった。天気が良ければ最高のツアーだと思います。

The guide was very kind and it was great. The timing at each stop was just right, and the bear ranch was a lot of fun. I also enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a pity that we couldn't ride the boat due to bad weather, but we still had a good time even with the clouds.

ガイドさんがとても親切で良かったです。各停留場所の時間も丁度よく、熊牧場がすごく楽しかったです。昼食も美味しくいただきました。悪天候につき船に乗れなかったのが残念でしたが曇りでも楽しめました。
