I visited on August 11.
It took about an hour to get to the reception, another hour to reach the summit, and we also waited about an hour to descend.
It was quite crowded, likely due to the busy season. Since I had purchased tickets in advance through Veltra, I was able to smoothly get my tickets by just showing the voucher at the reception.
One thing to note is that even if you have tickets, you still need to wait in line.
While you have a guaranteed entry, the experience is similar to those purchasing tickets on the day, so be prepared to wait depending on the day you go.
The night view after sunset is definitely a sight to behold.
You can capture more than enough photos with your phone, but if you have a digital camera or a DSLR, you can take photos that exceed your imagination!
The summit gets colder than you might expect, so having an extra layer is very helpful.
I visited with children this time, and the kids found their jackets very useful.
If you're bringing small children, a baby carrier or hip seat will be very handy.
I do not recommend using a stroller for moving around.
As a side note, the tickets exchanged at the reception had seasonal photos printed on them, which became a nice memento. It's definitely worth a visit!

注意したいのは、チケットを買っていても並ぶ必要があることです。
確約はできていますが、当日現地でチケットを購入する人たちとやる事は変わらない為、行く日によっては待つ覚悟も必要です。
やはり日没後の夜景は見ものです。
携帯の写真で十分すぎる写真が残せますが、デジタルカメラや一眼レフを持っていれば想像を超える写真が撮れますよ♪
山頂は思っている以上に冷え込む為、上着が一枚あるととても良いです。
今回は子連れでの利用でしたが、子どもたちは上着が大活躍しました。
小さなお子様をお連れの方は抱っこひもやヒップシートなどあると重宝しますよ。
ベビーカーでの移動はお勧めしません。
余談ですが、受付時に交換したチケットも四季折々の写真がプリントされており、思い出になりました♪ 一見の価値ありです。

Only our family of three got off the bus from Donan Bus. I was worried that no one would come to this place, but after passing through the main gate, I was relieved to see quite a few tourists. I have been to Sapporo several times, but it was my first visit to Mount Moiwa. When I showed my voucher at the ticket counter, the staff was experienced and quickly exchanged it for tickets. I had checked the sunset time in advance and went to Mount Moiwa, but I arrived later than planned, after sunset. It was already pitch dark. It seems that the gradient sky of navy and orange just before sunset and the night view are highly recommended, especially on clear days without clouds. Unfortunately, the day I went was cloudy, and the night view was hazy. Still, I think it was worth the visit. There are not many places in Japan that have a ropeway and mini cable car relatively close to urban areas, right? Next time, I want to go on a clear day without clouds. One downside is that there is a steep uphill path from the nearest streetcar station to the base station. There is a shuttle bus, but when I went, it only operated after 5:15 PM, which was after sunset. I had to walk up.

It's a tower directly connected to Sapporo Station. I went around 5 PM. After sunset, the observation deck was dimmed to enhance the night view, which was beautiful. I was able to relax and enjoy the night scenery while having a cake set. It was easy to go alone, and the music was nice, making for a great time.
