I went on my first trip to Hokkaido. I was looking for a place near Sapporo with beautiful night views, and I found this one. I imagined an old facility, but it was very clean and well-maintained, so I felt safe using it. The night view from the ropeway was just stunning! The view from the observation deck was also amazing. Inside the ropeway, there was an introduction to the surrounding mountains and facilities, which was easy to understand and nice. When riding the ropeway, if you stand on the town side instead of the mountain side, you can see the night view better as you ascend. I highly recommend this sightseeing spot.
初めての北海道旅行で行きました。
どこか札幌近くで夜景が綺麗なところ、と探してこちらに行きました。
古い施設を想像してましたがとてもキレイ・清潔で安心して利用できました。
ロープウェイであがる途中からとにかく夜景が綺麗！
展望台からの眺めも最高でした。
ロープウェイの中では周辺の山や施設の紹介があり、わかりやすく良かったです。
ロープウェイに乗る時は、山側ではなく町側？に立つと、登る時に夜景がよく見えます。
おすすめの観光地です。

I got off at the ropeway entrance using the streetcar. It was Saturday, and there were a lot of tourists, so I had to wait in line for the shuttle bus, but I decided to walk to the ropeway station instead. There was another long line to get on the ropeway, and I regretted coming at that moment. It took an hour to reach the summit, but as soon as I saw the night view, I was moved by its incredible beauty. It was cold at night, but I had brought a down jacket, so I was fine. I'm glad I experienced it. Thank you.
市電でロープウェイ入り口で下車。土曜日で観光客がとても多く、シャトルバスに乗るのに並んでいたので、歩いてロープウェイ乗り場まで行きました。ロープウェイに乗るまでまた長蛇の列で、来たことを一度は後悔しました。山頂まで1時間もかかりましたが、夜景を見た途端に、あまりの夜景キレイさに感動してしまいました。
夜で寒かったけど、ダウンジャケットを持って行ってたので、大丈夫でした。

I thought I dressed warmly, but the wind was cold and it was quite chilly. I think if you take proper measures to keep warm, you can enjoy it slowly. It was cloudy, so I couldn't see far clearly, but it was very beautiful. I planned to avoid the busy times and went after 4 PM, but by the time I was leaving, there was a line forming for the descending gondola (I waited about 10 minutes to board). I believe they are taking COVID-19 precautions, but it felt somewhat crowded inside the gondola.
暖かい服装で行ったつもりでしたが、風が冷たくかなり寒かったです。
しっかりと防寒対策をしていくと、ゆっくり楽しめるのかなと思います。
曇っていたので遠くの方ははっきり見えませんでしたが、とても綺麗でした。
混み合う時間を避けるつもりで16時過ぎに行きましたが、帰る頃には下りロープウェイに乗るための待ち列ができていました（10分待ちぐらいで乗れました）。
コロナ対策はしていると思うのですが、ロープウェイの中はそこそこ密なかんじでした。

Hokkaido in this season is vibrant with autumn leaves, and I visited around 3 PM to enjoy the evening and night views!

The view from Mount Moiwa was absolutely stunning! I also saw the night view from Mount Hakodate, but it was just as beautiful.
COVID-19 measures were in place, and there was a limit on the number of people allowed on the ropeway.
I think if you go see it in person instead of just looking at pictures, you'll truly experience its beauty.

I stayed until sunset and enjoyed both the fantastic sunset and night view. I regularly travel to Sapporo, but I never miss the breathtaking view from the top of Mount Moiwa each time. The scenery changes with the seasons, and I never get tired of it; I enjoy the different expressions of the landscape every time I visit. This was my first visit in autumn, and the slightly colored mountain scenery was exceptional as well. Next time, I plan to make a reservation at a restaurant and savor the night view slowly. I recommend this for anyone traveling to Sapporo, and I want to come back again!

The night view looked beautiful, but I didn't have time in the evening, so I went in the morning. I thought it would be a typical observation deck, but when I climbed up, the sky was clear and the view was great, which felt wonderful! I chose a plan that included dessert, so I enjoyed sweets while looking at the scenery from the café at the observation deck. It was a great deal and I felt very satisfied with the plan!

There are tables and chairs by the windows in the observation space. Since this area is shared with the general public, the environment may change depending on the other visitors present at the time. When we were there, it was relatively quiet and we were able to relax. The cheesecake was very refreshing and delicious. We also ordered mixed nuts as an extra. If I have the chance to go to Hokkaido again, I would like to apply once more.
展望スペースの窓側にテーブルと椅子が置いてあります。一般の観覧される方達も共用で使う場所なので、その時にいらっしゃる他の方達によって環境は変わるかも。

The Dōmin Discount started on September 19, and it was very crowded. Many people were walking up the hill because they couldn't get on the shuttle bus right after getting off the streetcar. We stood in line for a long time at the base station. It took a total of one hour to reach the summit. The ropeway and cable car were quite packed, and since we were on the side, we didn't have a great view, but when we reached the observation deck, it was truly moving. The warm light sparkled and stretched all the way to the coastline, and I could see the entire city of Sapporo that I had walked around all day; it really is a beautiful city. However, the return trip was tough. There was a long line from the cable car station to the observation deck, and I ended up waiting outside in short sleeves in the cold. The hot drinks from the vending machine were sold out. But on the way back, we happened to be at the front of both the cable car and the ropeway, so the view was fantastic. I was able to film the descent the whole way, which became a wonderful souvenir.
9月19日から道民割が始まり、とても混雑していました。市電降りてすぐのシャトルバスに乗れず、坂道を歩いている人も多かったです。山麓駅の中でもずーっと並びました。山頂までは、トータル１時間かかりました。ロープウェイ、ケーブルカーはかなり密で、側面にいた私たちは、眺望には恵まれなかったですが、その分、展望台に上がったときは、感動しました。暖かい感じの光が瞬いて海岸線まで伸びていて、今日一日歩き回った札幌の街全体が見られて、本当に綺麗な街だなぁと総括しました。ただ、帰路は大変でした。ケーブルカー乗り場から展望台までずっと列ができ、寒い屋外に半袖で並ぶ羽目になりました。自販機のホットドリンクは、売り切れてました。でも帰路はたまたまケーブルカーもロープウェイも先頭になったので、眺めは最高でした。下りはずっと動画を撮ることができ、何よりのお土産になりました。

On the last day of my trip to Hokkaido, I used this tour. I went around 6 PM in mid-September, just as the sun was setting and it was starting to get dark, which was a really nice time. On the first day of our trip to Hokkaido with my university student daughter, we went to the ropeway entrance station, which is accessible by a free shuttle bus from the streetcar station. However, since it was full, we walked there, which took us just under 10 minutes. At the ticket counter, I showed the screen of my smartphone and mentioned that I had booked through Veltra, and they handed us our tickets. The views from the ropeway and cable car were already amazing! When we reached the summit and watched the scenery from just after sunset until it got dark, the night view became more and more beautiful! You can see a panoramic view of Sapporo. This is definitely Instagram-worthy! Although most people around us were couples, there were also groups of girls and families, so I didn't feel out of place. I was able to see the dolphin show twice, and the content was different each time. After the show, I also got to watch the dolphins practicing their jumps, which was a lot of fun. I realized after the park closed that I wasn't given an in-park use ticket at the reception, which was a bit disappointing. Was there a different place where I needed to pick it up?
While we were talking about where the limited edition gacha was, we found it in the reception room just as we were leaving. Since it was right before closing time, I didn't have a chance to buy it.

On July 23, 2020, around 4 PM on a holiday, I climbed Mount Moiwa. The weather had light rain, but overall, it was satisfactory. The temperature was around 22°C, and I thought it was a bit chilly.
The ropeway comes every 15 minutes, so I was able to ride with almost no waiting time.

When I went, the weather wasn't very good, so I didn't have high expectations, but from the top, I could see surprisingly far, and it was very interesting. I was tired from walking, so the cake set was unexpectedly delicious and really comforting. Next time, I want to visit when the weather is better.
行った時は天気があまり良くなかったのでさほど期待していなかったのですが、上から眺めると思いもかけないくらい遠くまで見えてとても興味深かったです。歩き疲れていたのでケーキセットが思いのほか美味しくほっとできました。今度はもっと天気の良い時に訪れたいです。
