Due to the low number of reservations, we were picked up by a van instead of a bus. There was no tour guide, just the driver, so there was no information about where we were headed. When one passenger asked, "Where are we going now? Is there no guidance?" the driver replied, "I'm just the driver, so I don't know anything." It was shocking. As a result, there was no explanation about the sightseeing spots or the scenery along the way, and the van was silent. Although it was mentioned that we could see the scenery from the window, the heating inside the vehicle was so strong that the windows fogged up quickly, making it impossible to see anything. Additionally, we had a plan to eat lunch at the Biei Town roadside station, but we were taken to a completely different roadside station that only had a hamburger shop. Since everyone concentrated there, they eventually stopped taking orders, and we couldn't order anything. Spending 80 minutes in such a place was unacceptable. At the Furano Cheese Factory, it was stated that we could enjoy experiences, but since we arrived after 3 PM, by the time we got there, the time for experiences had ended, and we could only look around. I wondered if we needed to make a reservation in advance to even participate in the experiences.

Since all the facilities were free and we had to pay for our own lunch, I felt that even though it was a one-day bus tour, 10,000 yen was too expensive. I signed up for the bus tour because it was my first trip to Hokkaido and I wanted to see various places, but there was really no guidance, and I was disappointed that I couldn't see the scenery I was looking forward to. It felt just like taking a taxi. I even thought that moving by taxi might have been better.

The only positive thing is that I was able to return home safely.

予約された方の人数が少なかったこともあってか、集合場所に来たのはバスではなくワゴン車でした。添乗員がおらず運転手のみだったので、最初にどこに向かうのかなど案内がなく、「今はどこに向かっているんですか？案内とかないんですか？」と一人の乗客が訪ねると「私は運転手だから何も分からない」と言われました。ビックリです。なので、観光する場所の説明や道中の景色の説明など一切なく無言の車内でした。景色は車窓からと書いてありますが、車内の暖房が強くすぐに曇ってしまい何も見えません。それぞれの場所に連れて行かれますが、本当に何も説明がないので自分達で勝手に見てまわる感じでした。また、美瑛町道の駅でお昼ごはんを食べるプランでしたが、連れて行かれたのが全く違う道の駅でハンバーガー屋さんしかなく、みんながそこに集中するので最後は注文を打ち切られ何も頼めませんでした。ここで80分過ごすのはありえない場所です。富良野チーズ工房では、体験なども楽しめますと書いてありますが、15時過ぎの到着だったので、着いた頃には体験できる時間は終わっておりただ見るだけでした。そもそも、事前予約しないと体験すら出来ないのではと思いました。どこも無料の施設でお昼ごはんも自分達で払うので、１日のバスツアーとはいえ1万円は高すぎるとすら感じました。そして、初めての北海道旅行で色んな所を見てまわりたいと思いバスツアーを申し込んだのですが、案内が本当に何もなく楽しみにしていた景色も見れず残念でした。これではタクシーと同じです。タクシー移動の方がマシだったのではと感じてます。
無事に帰って来れたのがなによりです。

The weather was a bit bad, but it was a wonderful itinerary. Furano is often associated with summer, but visiting at this time was definitely the right choice. I was able to enjoy the late-blooming lavender and see the most beautiful autumn leaves.

It was a trip I was looking forward to, but unfortunately, it rained. This was my second time on this tour, and since it was cloudy last time as well, I wish I could enjoy the beautiful Biei in the best season with the best weather. The tours in Furano usually include the Blue Pond, farms, and Tomita, so I personally think it would be nice to have a few different routes. The hamburger at the wine house in the back was delicious. The scenery in Biei is beautiful, so next time I want to see many beautiful hills.

On a company trip, we had a free day, and three male members of the company signed up for this tour to see the Blue Pond. This was my second visit to Furano and Biei. Last time I rented a car, but this time I joined a bus tour, and honestly, I was a bit anxious about the manners of foreign tourists. I had been hesitant to participate since it was mentioned that there would be announcements in foreign languages. However, once we set off, the guide clearly communicated important information to the passengers, and I didn't experience any of the discomfort I had anticipated. The three people who were speaking continuously in English right next to us were moved to another seat by the guide, which quieted things down.

The guide mentioned that they wouldn't do the typical "guiding," but they engaged us with light-hearted conversation without being pushy. I was also impressed by the driver, who always called out to passengers when they were getting on and off the bus. Thank you for your hard work during the long drive.

I thought the duration of our stops at the sightseeing locations was just right. It brought back memories from my previous visit, and we created new enjoyable memories, with my spouse and I saying, "That was great." Thank you very much.

2回目の富良野・美瑛でしたが、前回はレンタカー、今回はバスツアーで（外国人のマナーに）正直不安がありました。外国語のアナウンスもあると書かれていたので、ずっと参加を迷っていました。発射するとガイドさんが注意事項をきちっと乗客に伝えてくれた事もあり、予想していた不快なことは全くありませんでした。私たちの目の席で英語でしゃべり続けていた３人もガイドさんが１人を別席に移して下さり静かになりました。
　所謂、ガイドさんらしい「ガイド」はしませんとおっしゃっていたガイドさんも押しつけがましくなく、軽妙なおしゃべりを楽しませてくださいました。また運転手さんも、乗客が乗り降りする際に必ず声掛けをして下さり感心しました。長時間の運転ご苦労様でした。
　立ち寄りの観光地の滞在時間も程よい長さで良かったと思います。前回訪問の記憶がよみがえり、新たな楽しい記憶が刻まれて夫婦２人で「よかったね」と話しています。大変ありがとうございました。

最後に、参加するかどうか悩んだ１つの要因は「会社の顔が見えない」事でした。変なツアー会社に当たったらどうしよう？変なバス会社だったらどうしよう？　無駄な心配でしたが、WEB上でもアピールされた方が良いのではないでしょうか？心配されている日本人の方が他にもいらっしゃる気がします。

I wanted to go see the Blue Pond, but it was difficult to plan using public transportation, so I joined this tour. Both the guide and the driver were very kind. The cheese fondue and hamburger for lunch were exquisite! Even though the lavender season has passed, the autumn flowers were blooming beautifully. Since I had just gotten my driver's license, I gave up on renting a car and chose the bus tour, but I had a very fulfilling day and was extremely satisfied. The lunch spot was a bit cramped, so it was a little awkward to share a table with others.

I had always wanted to visit the Blue Pond in Biei and the flower fields in Furano. Since going on my own would involve rental car costs and the burden of driving, I decided to join a bus tour for the first time.

We boarded at Sapporo Station, and with good weather and nearly a full bus, we set off. The cheese fondue for lunch was light and just the right amount, while the Hokkaido pork hamburger was well-marbled and easy to eat. I enjoyed a glass of Furano wine, and I was completely satisfied.

Although the lavender season at Tomita Farm had ended, I enjoyed the other flowers. The vast flower fields at Shikisai no Oka were stunning, and the heart-shaped red flowers were a highlight!

I learned that the Blue Pond doesn’t appear blue unless the conditions are just right, but I was satisfied with the blue reflected in the clear sky. Although the lavender season has passed, the Shikisai no Oka and Farm Tomita had many other flowers blooming beautifully! The Blue Pond had a bit of cloud cover, but you could still see the blue, and the clouds reflecting in the pond were lovely as well.

Shikisai no Oka is quite spacious, so I wished we had a little more time, but it was sufficient for taking photos!
