We had a desire to enjoy both the boat ride at Takachiho Gorge and the Amaterasu Railway, including transportation from our hotel in Kumamoto to our hotel in Aso. The driver was very kind and skillfully adjusted the itinerary based on the situation of the day.

The driver was very kind and considerate, which was a great help. I was looking forward to Takachiho, but I didn't know that I needed to make a reservation for the boat in advance. When I arrived, it was already sold out, so I couldn't ride the boat. Unfortunately, the day I went coincided with the Takachiho Spring Festival, and the roads were closed, which meant we couldn't use the usual routes. This caused delays, and we couldn't visit Aso Mountain and Kusasenri in the latter part of our sightseeing. The driver apologized profusely, but if I had received this information from Veltra in advance, I could have changed my schedule, so it was disappointing.

とても親切なドライバーさんで、色々気を使って下さり助かりました。楽しみにしていた高千穂でしたが、ボートの予約を先にしておかないといけないのを知らず、行ったら既に完売で、ボートには乗れませんでした。
生憎、行った日が、高千穂の春祭りと重なってしまい、道路が閉鎖されるという事で、従来通る道が使えないので、時間が掛かるため、観光内容の後半の阿蘇山や草千里は行けませんでした。
ドライバーさんは恐縮してお詫びをさえましたが、前もってこの情報がベルトラさんから聞いていれば、日程を変えることも出来たので、残念です。

I was able to immerse myself in the world of mythology and enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Aso, which was very refreshing. I was satisfied with the course, as they took the time to visit the places I hoped to see. It was great to enjoy the drive with the local driver's experienced handling, allowing us to visit many spots and take photos within the time we had.

I enjoyed Takachiho so much that I ran out of time for sightseeing in Aso, which I regret... but it was nice to travel at my family's pace.

We were guided by a very kind driver (his name was Honda), and it turned into a very enjoyable trip for the three generations: my mother, my daughter, and me. Due to an accident, we couldn't go to the crater of Mount Aso, but he took us to other recommended places, and we truly had a wonderful day. He drove carefully and provided explanations about various locations, and we were fortunate to have the best driver, allowing us to enjoy the experience from start to finish.

とても親切な運転手さん（ほんださんという方）に案内してもらい、母と私と娘の三世代、とても楽しい旅行となりました。

At Daikanbo, the Milk Road was closed due to snow. In the blizzard, the driver took a photo for me in front of the stone at Daikanbo. After that, we visited the shrines I wanted to see: Aso Shrine, Aso Hakusui Ryujin Gongen, Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, and Heitate Shrine, and then he took me to the airport. Since I extended the time a bit, I paid an extension fee. The stone steps at Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine and Heitate Shrine were slippery and dangerous, but with the driver's support, I was able to pay my respects, for which I am grateful. He was a very kind person. My trip to snowy Kumamoto became a memorable experience. Thank you very much.

大観峰では、ミルクロードが通行止めになる雪でした。吹雪の中、大観峰の石の前でドライバーさんが、写真を撮ってくださいました。後は、私の行きたい神社を巡りました。阿蘇神社、阿蘇白水龍神権現、上色見熊野座神社、幣立神宮巡り空港まで送ってもらいました。少し延長したので、延長料金を払いました。上色見熊野座神社と幣立神宮は、石段がつるつるで滑り危なかったのですが、ドライバーさんのサポートのもと何とかお参りできて感謝です。とても優しい方でした。雪の熊本も思い出に残る旅となりました。ありがとうございました。

I was able to tour Aso and Takachiho Gorge starting from Kumamoto. The guide and the bus were great, and I was able to enjoy the sightseeing comfortably.

One thing, the one hour of free time at the Aso crater felt a bit too long; I think it could be shorter.

Everything else was very good.

ひとつ、阿蘇火口での1時間自由行動は、時間をもてあましました。場所的には、もう少し短くてもよいかと思います。

We had two elementary school students, a four-year-old, and one adult participating. Since it was our first time sightseeing in Kumamoto, we decided to book this sightseeing taxi to visit the famous attractions. The adult was very satisfied! However, it took over an hour and a half to get to Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki, which made the kids tired from the travel.

But they seemed to be really impressed by the crater of Mount Aso and were very happy about it. They also wanted to ride the boat at Takachiho Gorge, so I think we would like to visit again. The kids enjoyed feeding the koi fish, and even though our schedule got pushed back, the driver was very flexible and changed the plan accordingly, making it a truly satisfying sightseeing experience.

はじめての熊本観光で、有名な名所を巡っておきたいなと思いこちらの観光タクシーを申し込みました。
大人は大満足！！ですが、宮崎の高千穂峡まで1時間半以上かかったりするので、子供達は移動に疲れていました。
でも、阿蘇山の火口は印象に残ったようで、とても喜んでいました。
高千穂峡のボートも乗りたがっていたので、また再訪したいなと思います。

My mother, who is in her late 70s, has difficulty walking, so it was challenging for her to participate in a package tour. We received excellent service. The driver was very kind and considerate, making it a memorable trip. Since it was a private tour, they picked us up from the hotel and confirmed our preferences, which made us very satisfied.

I believe one of the great things about a charter taxi is that they listen to our wishes and can flexibly accommodate the places we want to visit. The view from the middle of the Amaterasu Railway bridge was impressive. We were able to take many videos and photos during the ride. They also considered the time allocation, proving to be true professionals. I was very satisfied with how much we were able to see in just one day.

On my trip with friends, we planned to explore Aso on the first day and then head to Kurokawa Onsen. Since there were only a few buses and managing our time was challenging, this taxi plan, although a bit pricey, turned out to be the best option! The driver was very kind, providing guidance and taking photos for us, going above and beyond. The weather was unstable that day, with heavy rain that felt like a storm, so I think driving a rental car would have been quite stressful. We faced torrential rain on our way to Daikanbo, but miraculously, the weather cleared up when we arrived, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Daikanbo. The driver was also flexible in accommodating our needs for meals and souvenir shopping. I'm really glad we chose this option!

友人との旅行で、初日は阿蘇を巡って黒川温泉までを計画していました。バスは本数も少なく、タイムマネジメントが大変だったので、このタクシープランは、お値段はかかりますが、最適なプランでした！運転手さんはとても親切で、ガイドをしてくださったり、写真をとってくださったりと至れり尽くせりでした。お天気が不安定な日で、嵐のような雨もふったので、レンタカーであれば運転はとても不安だったと思います。ワイパーの回転が間に合わないような豪雨で大観峰に向かい、現地ではすつまかり、晴れ渡り、大観峰の景色を満喫できるという奇跡的な思い出もできました。食事やお土産の購入にも臨機応変に対応してださくださいました。お願いしてよかったです！

We used this service with four people because we wanted to efficiently sightsee within a limited time. The driver was knowledgeable about traffic and the busyness of the shops, so they suggested the best routes, allowing us to smoothly visit additional places. It was reassuring to know they understood the time required for sightseeing.

Moreover, they dropped us off close to our destinations, so we could leave parking to the driver, making it much more convenient compared to renting a car. They even waited for us to take photos and provided explanations about the sightseeing spots, myths, and recommended restaurants during the car rides, allowing us to have a wonderful time. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the taxi driver we hired during our trip to Takachiho. Even though we arrived two hours late due to missing our flight, he made sure we visited all the planned sightseeing spots and provided detailed explanations along the way, which was incredibly helpful.

Moreover, since we barely had time to buy souvenirs, the driver even prepared some for us, and he surprised us with a gift at the end! Our whole family was touched by his thoughtfulness.

The only regret I have is that I didn't catch his name, but our family truly had a wonderful time on this trip.

I requested to include a visit to the One Piece statues in a plan to tour Aso and Takachiho in one day, and they informed me that it was possible with an additional two hours, so I decided to go ahead with it. It was my first time using a sightseeing taxi, but the driver was very kind and attentive. Despite the unfortunate rain throughout the day, it turned out to be a very satisfying experience. The day before, I had visited the Luffy statue and Chopper statue in the city, as well as the Jinbe statue a bit further away by bus, so we focused on the remaining seven statues. The driver planned the route considering the closing times of the shops selling each figure, and I was able to purchase all of them successfully. We couldn't go to the Nakadake crater due to volcanic gas, but we were able to take photos at a nearby parking lot. For lunch, I enjoyed the red beef. Finally, we also stopped by Takachiho Gorge. The only disappointment was the weather, but everything else made it a truly memorable day. From this experience, I plan to actively use sightseeing taxis for future trips as well.

阿蘇と高千穂を1日でまわるプランにワンピース像巡りを含めてアレンジできないかお願いしたところ、2時間追加で可能とのことでお願いすることにしました。
観光タクシーを利用したのは初めてでしたが、担当ドライバーの方がとても親切丁寧にご対応くださって、当日は一日中あいにくの雨だったものの、とても満足な1日になりました。前日に市内のルフィ像、チョッパー像そしてバスで少し離れたジンベエ像に行っていたので、それ以外の7つの像を巡っていただきました。それぞれのフィギアを販売する店舗等の閉店時刻を考慮してルートを考えてくださり、無事全てのフィギアを購入することができました。中岳火口には火山ガスの影響で行けませんでしたが近くの駐車場で写真撮影ができました。お昼は赤牛を堪能しました。そして最後に高千穂峡にも寄っていただきました。残念だったのは天気だけで、それ以外は本当に思い出深い一日になりました。今回の経験から今後も観光の際には観光タクシーを積極的に利用しようと思っています。

I was disappointed that I couldn't see much of Mount Aso because it was covered in clouds. I heard that a few lucky people managed to catch a glimpse, but for the rest, it seemed like all they could see was a white landscape filled with clouds.

Takachiho Gorge was a beautiful place, and I was satisfied because the rain stopped just in time for us to enjoy it. For lunch, we had planned to have chicken, but there was only enough for one person, which caused a delay in cooking as the fire seemed to burn down quite a bit. There was no explanation during lunch, so as someone who isn't good with spicy food, I ended up with a small dish that was so spicy it brought me to tears, leaving me with not-so-great memories. I tried to alleviate the spiciness with dessert, but it wasn't very sweet either, so all I remember is how spicy everything was. It was a frustrating lunch where the meat and vegetables didn't cook well either.

The boats at Takachiho Gorge are mostly by reservation, so you need to book in advance. However, considering the bus departure time, it felt like there wasn't much time to enjoy the boat ride. On holidays, it's 5,100 yen for 30 minutes, and whether you can secure that time on the boat depends on how quickly you eat lunch, but I don't think there's much leeway. The reservation time is fixed, so arriving early doesn't guarantee an early ride, and if you're late, your riding time decreases, making it seem like there are many restrictions for group activities. Yet, it felt like there was too much time to spare for browsing souvenir shops. Many people seemed to be waiting around until departure time.

At Amano Iwato Shrine, there was a strong sense of time pressure. I felt that we should have allocated a bit more time to Takachiho Gorge. It takes about five minutes to walk from the parking lot to the shrine, around ten minutes to receive guidance and see Amano Iwato, and then about fifteen minutes to get to Amano Tawara. The guidance time is fixed, so you have to wait accordingly. The round trip from the shrine to the parking lot takes ten minutes, receiving guidance takes another ten minutes, and the round trip to Amano Tawara takes thirty minutes, which means a total of at least fifty minutes is definitely consumed at this point. Although the stay is supposed to be an hour and a half, considering group activities, there’s only about an hour and twenty minutes left, and with fifty minutes already taken up, that leaves only about thirty minutes of leeway. It would be ideal to arrive on time for the guidance, but since the bus arrival times may not be as scheduled, I think waiting times are unavoidable. I feel it would be awkward to leave without seeing Amano Iwato after coming to the shrine, and if waiting for guidance takes up time, it will eat into that thirty minutes of leeway. Additionally, while the way to Amano Tawara is downhill, the return is uphill. For those who can walk easily, it might be possible to make the round trip in thirty minutes, but after getting tired at Takachiho Gorge, going down and then back up is not a friendly time allocation for older individuals. There are souvenir shops lined up in front of the shrine, but there was hardly any time to look around. Of course, there was no time to visit Higashihongu either. I thought there should have been a better consideration for travel time in the schedule.

Overall, we were able to cover the sights we wanted to see, and the guide was considerate in making it enjoyable and allowing for relaxation after tiring activities, which was satisfying. However, I felt it was really disappointing that if only the time allocation had been a bit more thoughtful, it could have been perfect.

阿蘇山は雲に覆われていたのでほとんど何もみることが出来ず残念でした。
ごく一部の幸運を持っていた方は少し見れたということでしたが、それ以外の方は雲で真っ白な風景しか見れていないようでした。

高千穂峡は景観のいいところだったので、天気もなんとか雨がやんでくれたので満足できるくらい楽しめました。
お昼は同行者共に鶏肉をという話になっていたのですが、1人分しか鶏肉になっていなかったので取り換えるのに時間がかかっていたせいで焼く為の火がだいぶ燃えたような気がするのが残念だったような気がします。
お昼は説明は何もないので、辛いのが苦手な私には小皿の品がなんなのかわからず口にして涙が出るほど辛い物であまりいい思い出にはならなかったです。
辛いのをなんとかしたくてデザートを口にしてみましたが、そちらもあまり甘味があるわけでもなく、とにかく辛かった思い出しか残らなかったです。
肉や野菜もうまく焼けなかったりモヤモヤすることが多いお昼の時間でした。
高千穂峡のボートはほぼ予約制なので、事前に予約するしかないですがバスの出発時間を考えるとあまりボートを楽しんでいる時間はないように感じました。
休日5100円で30分で、30分ボートに乗っている時間を確保できるのかというとお昼を食べる速さにもよると思いますがあまり余裕はないと思います。
予約時間も決まっていますので、早くいったから早く乗れるわけでもないですし、遅れていったら遅れた分乗れる時間が少なくなるので団体行動で乗るには制約がどうしても多そうな気がしました。
だからといってお土産屋さんを見て回るには時間が多すぎる気がします。
出発時間まで時間を持て余している方が多かったように思います。

天岩戸神社はとにかく時間がない感じが強かったです。
高千穂峡の時間をこっちにもう少し当てた方がよかったのでは？という感じがします。
駐車場から天岩戸神社まで5分ほど、天岩戸の案内を受けて天岩戸を見るのに10分ほど、その後天安河原に行くのに15分くらいかかります。
天岩戸の案内時間は決まっているので、そちらに合わせて待ち時間が発生します。
天岩戸神社から駐車場まで往復10分、案内を受けるて10分、天安河原を往復するのに30分でこの時点で合計50分は確実に時間が消えていきます。
滞在時間は１時間半ということですが、団体行動を考えると１時間20分くらいしか時間がない中で50分も確実にとられるコースだと30分くらいの猶予しか与えられていない中、案内がすぐ始まる時間に現地に到着できればいいですがバスの到着時間は予定表通りではないので、どうしても待ち時間が発生すると思います。
天岩戸神社にきているのに天岩戸を見ないで帰るのは微妙だと思いますし、結局案内を受けるのに待機する時間が発生すると30分しか猶予がない中から待ち時間分が消費されていきます。
さらに天安河原は行きは下り坂ですが、帰りは上り坂です。
足が丈夫ですいすい歩ける方であれば往復30分で帰ってこれるかもしれませんが、高千穂峡で疲れている状態で下って上っては、ある程度年齢を重ねている人には優しくない時間配分だと思います。
神社前にはお土産屋さんなども並んでいますが、見る時間はほぼないくらいでした。
もちろん東本宮を見に行く時間もありません。
もう少し移動時間を考えた時間配分があってもいいのではないかと思いました。

おおむね景色など行きたいところはカバーできていましたし、ガイドの方も楽しくなるように、疲れたあとはゆったり過ごせるようになど考慮されていたのでそのあたりは満足できるものではありましたが、時間配分がもう少し考慮されていれば最高だったのになというのがとにかく残念な感じでした。

The weather on the day was cloudy, but based on the cloud cover at the summit, we were able to adapt flexibly by reversing the order of visiting the crater and Kusasenri to ensure we could enjoy good views. Thanks to that, we were able to see both the crater and Kusasenri in perfect weather. We also enjoyed various guidance during the ride. On the way back, being dropped off at the accommodation in Kurokawa Onsen was very convenient compared to waiting for the bus.

当日天気は曇りでしたが、山頂の雲のかかり具合から、火口と草千里の順番を逆にしたり良い景色を見れるように臨機応変に対応いただきました。お陰様で、火口も草千里もばっちり良い天気で見れました。車内でも色々ガイドいただき楽しめました。帰りも黒川温泉の宿まで送っていただるし、並んでるバスより断然タクシーが便利だと思いました。

My trip was centered around Kurokawa Onsen, but on the last day, I was thinking about how to spend my time until my flight. Originally, I had a 5-hour itinerary, but I left it to the driver, and we were able to visit five places in 4 hours: Daikanbo, Aso Shrine, Kusasenri, Nakadake Crater, and Shirakawa Springs. I heard that Nakadake Crater can sometimes be off-limits, but on this day, I was able to see the crater's emerald color. It was a fulfilling half-day with the driver's stories and the great outdoors.

黒川温泉が目的の旅行でしたが、最終日、飛行機の時間までをどう過ごそうかと考えていました。もともと5時間のコースでしたが、運転手さんにお任せし、大観峰、阿蘇神社、草千里、中岳火口、白川水源の5カ所を4時間で巡ることができました。中岳火口は、立ち入り禁止になることもあるそうですが、この日は火口のエメラルド色も確認できました。運転手さんのお話と大自然、充実した半日でした。

There were 15 participants, 6 of whom were Japanese, and the rest included Chinese, Korean, and a young white male whose nationality is unclear. A Chinese and English interpreter also accompanied us. I was able to have a conversation in broken English with a Korean woman sitting next to me on the bus, which was enjoyable. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see the Aso caldera due to the rain the night before.

We arrived back earlier than scheduled. 😊

Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything at Mount Aso due to the fog, and it was overcast the whole time, but I'm glad we were able to visit Takachiho Gorge. The lunch was also delicious. The guide and the interpreter (Chinese) were both very good. I recommend it!

あいにく霧がかかってて阿蘇山は何も見えなかったし、ずっと曇り空でしたが、高千穂狭にも行けてよかったです。お昼も美味しかったです。ガイドさんと通訳（中国語）の方のガイドもとってもよかったです。お薦めします！

Initially, I had booked a bus trip, but it was canceled due to insufficient participants, so I quickly reserved a taxi instead. I went slightly over budget, but they added extra stops as per my request and adjusted the route flexibly according to the weather. They also recommended some delicious local eateries. Thank you to the driver!

最初はバス旅行を予約していたのですが、人数不足でキャンセルになり急遽タクシーを予約しました。少し予算オーバーしましたが、当方の希望で立ち寄り場所を追加していただいたり、天候に応じて臨機応変にコースを変更していただきました。地元の美味しいおみせも教えてもらいました。運転手さん、ありがとうございました。
