I wasn't surprised since I had seen previous posts, but most of the participants were from China, and the explanations were also in Chinese. It seemed that the guide couldn't speak much Japanese, so I asked about the meeting time and place and then had some free time. If you use it purely as a means of transportation, I think there won't be any issues. The Chinese participants also had good manners on the bus; it was quiet and comfortable. In the morning, the bus arrived just in time, and there was no announcement, which made me a bit anxious. I think it would have been better if someone had provided guidance in advance.

It was a trip to Kyoto with my sister. We wanted to go to Kurama, so we used a sightseeing taxi. It was a great decision. The driver, Mr. Saito, was very attentive and considerate towards my sister, who has difficulty walking, and I was very grateful for that. This was my third time in Kyoto, but I definitely want to use a sightseeing taxi again next time.

Honestly, I had the image of being taken to tourist spots by taxi, waiting, and then being picked up again when I contacted them, like a shuttle service. However, when I actually used it, they first proposed an itinerary, accurately suggesting times and places to avoid an overly packed schedule, and they even provided guidance at the tourist spots, which was very kind of them. The price is quite reasonable for the service provided.
When I requested to have yudofu for lunch, they took me to a delicious restaurant that didn't require a reservation.
Perhaps I was lucky to have a great person in charge, but I was very satisfied. I will definitely use this service again next time.

I struggled to find the tour bus at the crowded meeting point filled with sightseeing buses. There was no display of the tour name, so every time a bus arrived, I had to confirm with the driver, only to be told it was the wrong one, which increased my anxiety. Finally, when I received a call on my mobile, it turned out to be the bus I had checked once before. The guide mentioned that there was a Chinese participant on the list, which led to the mix-up. I began to lose trust in the service.
However, the Chinese guide repeatedly apologized and showed genuine concern, which helped ease my feelings of distrust. I believe that if the tour name were displayed on the bus, it would go much more smoothly. Other Chinese tours also lacked this display, while Japanese companies had clear signage. I hope for improvements in this area.

I participated with two friends. I heard that there were many foreigners, so the entire tour guide was in English, but they also mixed in fast-paced Japanese explanations, which was very pleasant! I participated with a friend. Thank you to our bus guide, Maria! She is amazing, fluent in both Japanese and English, and can speak four languages! She was kind, polite, and I became a fan of hers! Most of the people on the bus were foreigners, but we adhered to the meeting time and moved on time. She provided detailed explanations of each landmark in English! I was staying at a hotel in Osaka, but I was moved by how much I enjoyed the trip to Kyoto starting from Namba! I definitely want to use this service again! (^O^)

The course with lunch included had options for a Kyoto cuisine set and a Kyoto tofu set, and since I was there, I chose the Kyoto cuisine course. However, the restaurant specializes in tofu dishes, and naturally, the meal consisted entirely of tofu dishes. I couldn't help but ask the person I was dining with which tour course they had chosen. They seemed to be worried too, wondering if this was not the Kyoto tofu course.
There were many delicious-looking restaurants near Kiyomizu-dera, so I thought I should have skipped the lunch option given this meal.
I was satisfied with the tour itself as we visited the main four locations. However, the schedule was tight, so I don't think it's suitable for those who want to take their time exploring. The tour guide was accommodating in both English and Japanese, and their service was good. It was just the meal that was disappointing.
昼食付きのコースは、京料理御膳と京豆腐御膳があり、せっかくだからと京料理御膳のコースを選択しました。
しかし、お店は豆腐料理のお店で、食事内容ももちろん豆腐料理ばかり。
思わず、一緒に食事をした方にどのツアーコースを選択したか確認しました。その方も、これは京豆腐コースじゃないのか？と不安に思っていたようです。
清水寺には美味しそうなお店がたくさんあったので、この内容なら昼食付きにしなければ良かったなと思いました。
ツアー自体は主要な4箇所を回れたので満足しています。ただ、スケジュールがタイトなので、ゆっくり見て回りたい方は向いていないかと思います。
添乗員さんは、英語と日本語で対応しており対応も良かったです。
本当に、お食事だけが残念でした。

I requested to extend the stage for Hikaru-kun from Ishiyama-dera to Kyoto city for two people in their 80s, who are each other's in-laws. I used this service for a trip with my parents and daughter. Since I'm not familiar with Kyoto, it was convenient not to have to research the route to our destination, and my child wanted to ride on a double-decker bus! That's why we decided to go with this option. However, the routes for the double-decker buses were limited (I'm not sure if it was just for that time period).
Additionally, there were tickets available that only allowed travel on specific routes indicated at the ticket counter, which were a bit cheaper (1-day adult ticket for 2,500 yen). I wish it was made clear at the time of booking which buses would be operating on which routes. Even though you can hop on and off, there aren't that many buses running, so I think it would be better if the price were a bit lower. If you're going to purchase tickets, I felt that a 2-day pass might offer better value.
両親、娘との旅行で利用しました。
京都に詳しくないので、目的地までの道のりを調べなくても良いのと、子供が2階建てバスに乗ってみたい！と言う事で決めました。
ただ、2階建てバスが運行する路線が決まっていました。（その時期だけなのかはわかりませんが）
また、窓口に案内されていた特定の路線だけにしか乗れないチケットもありました。それだと少しお値打ちでした。（1日券大人2500円）
路線によって運行するバスが決まっているのであれば申し込みする時点でわかるようにして欲しいなと思いました。
乗り降り自由でも実際にそれほどの本数は乗れませんでしので、もう少し安いと良いのにと思います。
購入するなら2日通し券のがお得感はあるのかなぁと思いました。

I was able to fully enjoy the sightseeing spots in Kyoto in one day. The guide provided information in both English and Japanese. Once we arrived at each landmark, we had free time to explore on our own. Since I didn't opt for lunch, I had quite a bit of time to spare at Kiyomizu-dera. Those who chose the lunch option mentioned that their visit to Kiyomizu-dera was a bit rushed (the plan included lunch near Kiyomizu-dera).
We traveled by bus between the landmarks, so if you got tired, you could relax and sleep until the next destination. It was convenient to buy souvenirs at each location and leave them in our seats while heading to the next sightseeing spot. However, any loss of belongings left in the vehicle is your own responsibility.
I was glad I checked the boarding location the day before, as it was a bit hard to find. Also, the drop-off point on the way back is Hachijo-guchi.
京都の観光名所を一日で堪能できました。ガイドさんは英語と日本語の案内付き。名所に着いたら各自、自由行動。昼食付きにしなかった為、清水寺ではかなり時間を持て余した。昼食付きにした方は清水寺の観光が慌ただしかったとの事。(清水寺の近くで昼食をとるプラン)
名所をバス移動するので疲れたら次の目的地までゆっくり眠れる。各地でお土産を買っても座席に置いて次の観光名所に行けたので楽でした。しかしながら車中に置いていった荷物の紛失等は自己責任です。
説明にあった朝の乗車場所は前日に下見をしておいて良かった。分かりづらいです。あと、帰りの降車場所は八条口です。

We used this service for a 2-night, 3-day sightseeing trip with our family of five. Unexpected heavy rain from the morning. However, I left everything to the driver, and it turned into a fun trip. The behind-the-scenes guidance was full of things I didn't know, which was very informative. For lunch, I had requested yudofu in advance and went to a place that was recommended, and it was just the best. The staff there were amazing too. My mother seemed so happy that she was almost in tears. It was tough at Kiyomizu-dera in the heavy rain, but Mr. Katayama kept saying he was sorry for the weather and asked us not to dislike Kyoto and to come back again. Choosing taxi sightseeing was definitely the right decision for this trip. Thank you for the day, Mr. Katayama.

During the three-day weekend in November, I visited Kyoto, which was experiencing overtourism. My mother and I did a lot of research on how to navigate the crowded tourist spots. Both private cars and public transportation were extremely congested, and taxis were hard to catch, so we decided to book a private sightseeing taxi. We were finally able to secure one through Veltra a month in advance. Although it was a three-hour rental, we were extremely satisfied. Our driver was a seasoned professional who was very knowledgeable about Kyoto, well-versed in its history, and skilled at storytelling. He also knew great places to eat, allowing us to smoothly visit all the sights we wanted! Even in crowded Kyoto, we were able to enjoy Ryozenji Temple, Imamiya Shrine, and Kodaiji Temple to the fullest, and I’m really glad we used the sightseeing taxi. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you, Mr. Saito from Koshin Taxi. It was incredibly fun!

I toured Kyoto city with my mother. The driver was very knowledgeable, so if we communicated where we wanted to go, he would suggest the time allocation and the order of the places to visit. If we wished, he also provided a guided tour, and if there was time, he took us to some sightseeing spots we didn't know about. Since Kyoto has many tourists, I don't think we could have covered as much on our own. I especially recommend this for older people.

運転手さんはもちろん詳しい方なので、行きたい所を伝えれば時間配分や行く順番を考えて提案してくれます。希望すれば観光ガイドもしてくれますし、時間あれば知らなかった観光スポットにも連れてってくれました。

It had been a while since I visited Kyoto, and I decided to hire a private taxi for my two-day stay to make the most of my time, even though it was a bit pricey. However, it was a great decision!
