We had plenty of time at each sightseeing location, so we could enjoy the sights at a leisurely pace. We arrived a bit late at the last sightseeing spot, Nara, and almost missed the visiting hours for Todai-ji, but the guide kindly led us partway in the rain to ensure we wouldn't get lost, and we made it just in time. The tour guide was lovely. She didn’t speak much English but she had a book of phrases she needed to tell us written out so we knew what was going on. The bus ride had an English audio guide which was generally interesting. The train was beautiful, and the scenery was amazing. The boat trip was unfortunately cancelled due to the heavy rain the day before, so we had a long coach journey instead. The bamboo forest was incredible but very busy so if you want quiet maybe go by yourself instead of on a tour. we had three hours at Arashyama which was actually perfect, if we’d had a boat trip too it would have only been an hour which would have been too short!

他の車の音などで音量あげないと聞こえづらさは少々あります。年配の母は無理でした。

I found a tour while urgently looking for one to explore the sightseeing spots by myself in the morning! With a tour, you have to make it to the starting point and time to participate, but since you can hop on and off freely, I thought it was convenient to go wherever I wanted at any time, so I made a reservation.

After 3 PM, there was about an hour gap until the next bus at one sightseeing spot, so I felt a bit disappointed that there weren't earlier buses to visit more places. I also thought it would be even better if there were options for reverse routes!

午前中にひとりで観光地を回ろうと急遽、ツアーを探していたところ見つけました❣️
ツアーだと開始場所や時間に間に合わないと参加出来ませんが、乗り降り自由なので、時間もいつからでもで行きたいところだけ行けるのが便利と思い予約しました。
午後3時過ぎは1観光地で次のバスが１時間くらい空くのでもう少し早いバスがあるともっと回れたかもと、ちょっと残念なのと、逆回りがあるともっと便利でいいなぁと思いました❣️
