I used this service to attend to customers from America. Despite making the reservation just two days in advance, they smoothly arranged the booking and took us to many famous tourist spots. We visited Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari Shrine, and Kiyomizu-dera from 10 AM to 3 PM. They shared various interesting facts in English and also recommended great photo spots and tips on how to take pictures. While we bought snacks and drinks, they helped us with recommendations for dinner, which was very helpful. Regarding the price, I felt it was inexpensive given the excellent service. I was grateful for the tour guide who explained in both English and Japanese since my husband is American! It was very easy and convenient to visit a wide range of sightseeing spots by bus. The tofu lunch was also delicious. Since there is quite a bit of walking, comfortable shoes are a must. Even though it was the off-season, there were still a lot of tourists, and it was quite crowded, so choosing the bus tour was the right decision.

主人がアメリカ人なので、英語と日本語両方で説明して下さる添乗員の方が有り難かった！　広い範囲の観光名所をバスで周れるので、とにかく簡単で楽ちんでした。　お昼のお豆腐ランチも美味しかった。　結構歩くので歩きやすい靴は必須。　オフシーズンでしたが、それでも観光客がとても多くて、ゴチャゴチャしてますのでバスツアーにして正解でした。

Kyoto Bus Tour, second time. 京都バスツアー2回目

It was the middle of a three-day weekend, and the only sunny day in Kyoto. This was my second bus tour in Kyoto, a luxurious tour visiting four locations. I had been to these places before, but I participated again because I wanted to go back.

At Fushimi Inari, I went through the torii gates a little and then checked out the souvenir shops on the back path. I also bought a "key charm for achievement," which features a key held by a fox. After finishing our sightseeing, we gathered on the path. Then, we all walked to the bus meeting point, but we got delayed for about 20 minutes because the crossing was closed, which made me anxious. Since everyone was together, the path was indeed the correct meeting point.

Once we arrived at Kiyomizu-dera, we had lunch right away. We had chosen a plan that included a Kyoto yudofu meal, so we could eat as soon as we sat down. It was extremely crowded, so opting for lunch was definitely the right choice. The view from Kiyomizu-dera was amazing.

Kinkaku-ji also had great weather and a wonderful view. We felt like we had a bit of extra time, which was nice.

At Arashiyama, we were a bit short on time. The guide took us to the bamboo grove, but during my last visit to Kyoto, I spent too much time in the bamboo grove and missed out on seeing and shopping on the main street of Arashiyama, so this time I quickly looked at the bamboo and returned. It was so crowded that I thought having two hours for sightseeing would be good. We crossed the Togetsukyo Bridge and then headed back to the bus meeting point. Managing time in Arashiyama was challenging.

There were also foreign visitors, but the guide explained everything thoroughly. I wondered if the foreign guests would be able to keep to the schedule, but their manners were good.

三連休真ん中、唯一晴れの京都でした。
京都のバスツアーは、2回目。4箇所回る贅沢ツアー。4箇所行ったことがあったけど、また行きたいという思いから参加をしました。
稲荷伏見は、鳥居を少しくぐって戻り、裏参道のお土産屋さんを見ました。また、「達成のかぎ守」を購入。狐がくわえている鍵を買いました。観光し終わったら、参道に集合。その後、みなさんでバス集合場所まで歩くのですが、踏み切りが開かずの間になり20分くらいかかり焦りました。みなさん一緒だったので集合場所は、参道が正解ですね。
清水寺についたら、すぐにランチ。私たちは、京湯豆腐御膳付きプランにしていたので、席に着いたらすぐに食べることができました。ものすごく混んでいるので、ランチ付きにして正解でした。清水寺からみた景色は最高でした。
金閣寺も、天気がよく、とても素晴らしい景色。ちょっと時間が余った感じでしたが、良かったです。
最後の嵐山は、時間がたりないくらい。ガイドさんが竹林まで案内してくれましたが、前回京都にきた時、竹林に時間をかけすぎて、嵐山のメイン通りで見たり買ったり出来ず残念だったので、竹林はサクッと見て戻りました。とにかく混んでて2時間観光時間があってもいいかなと思うくらい。とりあえず、渡月橋も渡って見て、バス集合場所まで戻りました。時間配分が難しい嵐山でした。
外国の方もいらっしゃい増したが、ガイドさんが丁寧に説明されていたし、また外国の方、時間厳守できるのかな？と思いましたが、マナーも良かったです。

Unfortunately, there was traffic in the city, and popular spots like Fushimi Inari Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple were crowded with tourists, which caused delays in the bus arrivals and reduced our free time. However, I was very satisfied that we were able to visit Arashiyama while it was still light out.

The tour guide was very kind, and their detailed explanations for foreign visitors showed their dedication. This trip was a wonderful experience for me and my son. I think the tour planning was excellent. It would be difficult to visit all the scattered attractions in one day on your own.

京都の主要観光地をバスで廻れるというプランでした。残念ながら京都市内も車で渋滞、伏見稲荷神社や清水寺など人気観光地も観光客でいっぱいだったため、バスの到着に遅れが生じて自由時間が少なくなって残念な一面もありましたが、明るいうちに嵐山へ行く事が出来てとても満足なツアーでした。

Four years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I planned a trip with my wife as part of our honeymoon, and I found this LIMON tour! We participated in a tour from Namba Station to Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama. The tour content is enjoyable for both Japanese and foreign tourists. When we participated, there were only two Japanese people, my wife and me, but the tour staff member, Maria, was very considerate, and we are grateful for that. After the English announcements for the places we were going to visit, she also explained things to us, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing without any inconvenience. She was always nearby, which made us feel secure while touring.

After 35 years, I visited Kyoto again, and it happened to be a time when there were few participants, so we were able to move around smoothly. The weather was nice, and Kinkaku-ji was even more beautiful than I had imagined. I attended alone, but the tour guide provided great explanations about the sightseeing spots and kindly took photos for me, which made the experience enjoyable.
