Anyway, the guide, Mr. Michishita, was wonderful. With his extensive knowledge and lively explanations, I thoroughly enjoyed Nara. Both Hōryū-ji and Tōdai-ji were indescribably magnificent. It was my first visit to Nara at the age of 60, and I hope to visit again.

I had a wonderful trip to Nara. The discussions at each famous spot were very educational, and I was taken to places I wanted to go in a flexible manner, making for a truly fulfilling day. I was really grateful for how much time we were able to maximize, and there were places that could only be accessed by taxi, which made me feel like a VIP. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to request this again! Thank you very much! ♪

I was able to efficiently visit the famous sites in Nara, and the timing from start to finish was convenient, allowing plenty of time to return home to Odawara. I really enjoyed the experience.

My trip to Nara, especially visiting the areas of Hōryū-ji and Tōshōdai-ji, was best experienced through a bus tour. I considered taking the train and walking, or even renting a car, but I might have just reached my destinations without fully enjoying the journey. I believe this would have been especially true for middle-aged and older travelers. I'm grateful for the wonderful tour that was organized for us.

I learned a lot from the handmade materials you presented, not only about what I had heard but also about other topics. Additionally, it was raining on the day of the tour, and I had neglected to bring an umbrella, but you kindly lent me a beautiful one. You mentioned that I could return it to the bus information center by lunchtime, which really touched me with your thoughtfulness. Also, for those with folding umbrellas, the driver provided plastic bags, which was truly considerate. The souvenir recommendations were not pushy, and you introduced items that aren't available elsewhere. I felt very lucky to have chosen this bus tour. Thank you very much.

聞きかじっていたことはもとより、それ以外のことについても手作りの資料をかざして説明していただき、とても勉強になりました。又、当日雨で傘の用意を怠っていたのですが、綺麗な傘を貸していただき、コースのお昼までの方にバスの案内所に返していただければ構いませんと帰路にも貸してくださっていたようで、ガイドさんの心配りに感動。又、折り畳み傘の人には運転手さんがビニール袋を下さるなど、本当に至れり尽くせりでした。お土産の案内もしつこく無く、他では扱っていないものを紹介していただいたり、このバスツアーにして本当にラッキーだったと思いました。有難うございました。

It was a tour where I truly felt that Nara Kotsu is a company that offers warm hospitality. From the beginning of the tour, the staff who waved goodbye as we boarded the bus were lovely. The voice of the guide explaining everything was so warm. I think it's not good to visit places like Hōryū-ji and Chūgū-ji without understanding anything. A guided tour is the best. 奈良交通さんは温かいおもてなしの会社だと実感いたしたツアーでした。ツアーの始まりも、バスをお見送りするお姉さん達。説明するガイドさんの声、温かい〜。法隆寺、中宮寺を何も分からず、見ているのは良くないとおもいます。ガイドさん付きのツアーは最高です。奈良交通さん、ありがとうございました。

The bus driver and the guide were both very kind and gentle, making for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions accurately. The driver was always very safety-conscious and, while modest, showed a wonderful and kind personality. I'm really glad I booked this. It's quite difficult to visit so many temples in one day on your own.

バスの運転手さん、ガイドさん共にとても親切で穏やかな方々でのんびり楽しく過ごせました。ガイドさんはとてもお勉強されてて質問にも的確にお答えくださりました。運転手さんは常に安全をとても考えられており控えめながらもとても親切で素晴らしいお人柄が伺えました。こちらで頼んで本当に良かったです。なかなか個人ではここまで沢山の寺院を1日で巡るのは難しいです。

The guide's explanations were very easy to understand and detailed, which made me very satisfied. It was a half-day course in the morning, but I had to hurry for my afternoon plans, so I was allowed to leave early at Chuguji. The assistance at the counter and the farewell were also good. Next time, if the schedule allows, I would like to join a tour that goes to the summit of Wakakusa Mountain! I really enjoyed Nara!

I used it on September 7. It was still hot, and I think walking would have been tough. The taxi tour was great because we could go directly to the places we wanted to visit! The driver was also very kind.

A course visiting Hōryū-ji, Chūgū-ji, Jikō-in, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōdaiji. The guide's explanations were enjoyable and easy to understand, which was great. Additionally, the admission fee and lunch included made it feel very worthwhile. It was especially nice to enjoy matcha while looking at the garden at Jikō-in.

法隆寺―中宮寺ー慈光院ー薬師寺ー唐招提寺を廻るコース。
ガイドさんの説明が楽しく、わかりやすくて良かったです。
また拝観料、昼食込みでとてもお得感がありました。
特に慈光院で、庭を眺めながらお抹茶がいただけたのは良かったです。

About 1500 years ago, the guide provided a detailed explanation of Japan's history that can only be felt in Nara, through the temples and Buddha statues we visited. I was able to deeply engrave the knowledge and perspective I gained from seeing national treasures at a local museum in the actual places where they are housed. It was a journey that made me want to visit Nara again and also see Asuka-dera, which the guide told us is the oldest in Japan.

約1500年前という奈良でしか感じることのできない日本の歴史を、訪れたお寺や仏像を通してガイドさんが詳しく説明してくださいました。地方の美術館で観た国宝も実際に収められている場所でにわかに得た知識と視点であらためて深く心に刻むことができました。再度、奈良を訪れて日本最古とガイドさんに教えていただいた飛鳥寺も訪れてみたくなる旅でした。

I was impressed by the driver's knowledge. He provided thoughtful recommendations for World Heritage shrines and other suggested shrines without being pushy, which gave us a sense of comfort during our sightseeing time. The trip for the two women became a wonderful memory despite the rain. We definitely plan to visit again during cherry blossom season, and of course, we will request a taxi.

運転手さんの物知りに感動しました。世界遺産の神社やおすすめの神社など、観光の時間の範囲で押し付けのない心配りに安心感がありました。女性2人の旅行は雨降りの中での最高の思い出となりました。また、桜の季節に行くことを、もちろんタクシーでお願いする予定です。

This was my second time on the Nara Kotsu sightseeing bus tour. My purpose for this tour was to visit Jiko-in, Yakushiji, and Toshodai-ji. The temperature in Nara that day was 34℃! I borrowed a parasol provided by the guide and ended up sweating a lot during the tour. At Jiko-in, I enjoyed matcha and traditional sweets while listening to a talk from the head priest. During that time, there was a pretty intense thunderstorm! The rain didn’t stop for a while, but thanks to that, I was able to listen to the priest's talk for a bit longer. The borrowed parasol transformed into an umbrella! 😅 At Toshodai-ji, the rain finally lightened up, and the greenery of the trees was very vibrant and beautiful. The guide helped me find great angles for Instagram-worthy photos, and I couldn't help but smile when I looked at the pictures I took. 😊 The driver even got off the bus to check for safety at the crosswalk. Nara Kotsu always provides a pleasant experience. This time, it was a very enjoyable and memorable bus tour! 😊

今回は2度目の奈良交通さんの定期観光バスツアーになります。このツアーの私の目的は慈光院さん、薬師寺さん、唐招提寺さんでした。この日の奈良の気温は34℃！ガイドさんが用意して下さった日傘を借りて汗びっしょりでのツアーになりました。慈光院さんでは、ご住職さんの法話を聞きながらお抹茶とお干菓子をいただきました。その最中にかなり激しい雷雨がバリバリバリ！雷雨がなかなか止まず、しかしそのお陰でご住職さんのお話をしばしお聞かせいただくことができました。そして借りていた日傘が雨傘に変身！😅唐招提寺さんでやっと雨が小降りになり、樹々の緑がとても鮮やかで綺麗でした。いろんなところでガイドさんにインスタ映え写真のアングルを教えていただいて自分で撮った写真を見てニンマリ。😊運転手さんはわざわざバスから降りて横断歩道まで出て安全確認をして下さってました。奈良交通さんは毎回気持ちがよいですね。今回もとても楽しく思い出深いバスツアーになりました😊

It was my first time visiting Nara, so I used a sightseeing taxi. The driver was kind, lending me an umbrella and providing salt tablets, and he kept the car engine running during the tour, which was very considerate. The explanations at the sightseeing spots were thorough, and I learned a lot! I had an experience that I wouldn't have been able to have on my own. I really appreciated how he took care of my child; I’m so glad I used this service! Thank you very much!

初めての奈良観光でしたので、観光タクシーを利用させて頂きました。運転手さんは親切で日傘を貸してくれたり、塩分タブレットを用意してくれたり、観光中も車のエンジンをかけっぱなしにしてくれて、至れり尽くせりでした。観光地での説明も丁寧で、とても勉強になりました！個人では中々出来ない体験をさせて頂きました。子供にを気を使ってもらい本当に利用して良かったです！ありがとうございました！

For the past two years, I've mostly been on Chinese tours. It was nice to have a detailed explanation in Japanese after such a long time! The weather held up just enough. The guide also made sure we received our goshuin (temple stamps) without any issues. It was a great day. Thank you!

I usually do sightseeing with a group by bus, but this time I was able to efficiently tour in a short time by taxi. I thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of a private hire. Thank you very much.

The tour was efficient, lasting four hours in the afternoon, and our guide, Minori, was kind and knowledgeable, which was great. The English guide via the machine also seemed good. The five-story pagoda is under renovation and won't be visible for a while (7 years?), but I still recommend it. The staff at the reception and the driver were all very pleasant, making for an enjoyable sightseeing experience. Thank you very much.

午後から4時間で効率よく回れて、ガイドのみのりさんが、優しく知識豊富でとても良かったです。機械での英語のガイドも良かったようです。五重塔は修繕中で、しばらく(7年?)観れませんが、それでもお勧めです。　受付の方、運転手さんも皆さん感じが良く、楽しく観光できました。ありがとうございました。

I was guided by the knowledgeable Mr. Maruyama. Considering the congestion in Nara, he took me to Kasuga-taisha and Todai-ji in the less crowded morning hours. He also made a detour to Nigatsu-do and Sangatsu-do, which were not included in the course.

It was very comfortable as he simply took a taxi to Horyu-ji, which is difficult to access by public transportation. Since there wasn't enough time for lunch, we stopped by a convenience store along the way, allowing me to eat in the taxi during the transfer, saving time. He efficiently guided me through the shrines and temples included in the course. The stories he shared were also interesting. He talked about Nara's long history, some of the seven wonders of Horyu-ji, the Horyu-ji Museum, the Buddha statues housed in various temples, the Four Heavenly Kings statues, and the history of each temple and Buddhism, among other topics that I couldn't have researched on my own. I felt the charm of Horyu-ji once again and thought that next time, I would like to request just Horyu-ji.

知識豊富な丸山さんにガイド頂きました。奈良の混雑事情を考慮して、空いてる午前中に春日大社、東大寺を案内いただきました。コースには含まれない二月堂、三月堂にも寄り道くださりました。
公共の交通機関だと行きづらい法隆寺もタクシーに乗ってるだけで連れて行っていただき、快適そのものです。お昼を食べる時間がなかったので途中でコンビニに寄ってもらい、移動中にタクシー内で食べて時間節約にもなりました。コースに含まれる神社、仏閣を効率よくまわってくださりました。お話も面白かったです。奈良の長い歴史の話、法隆寺の七不思議の一部、法隆寺博物館や各お寺に納められている仏像、四天王像など彫刻のお話、各お寺の歴史、仏教のお話などなど、自分では調べきれない内容でした。改めて法隆寺の魅力を感じ、次は法隆寺だけでお願いしたいと思いました。
丸山さん、思い出になる楽しい時間をありがとうございました。

We often go around collecting goshuin (temple stamps) on our own, but it feels like we're just going to get the stamps. On a bus tour, we can learn a lot of things, which is really appreciated. The tea service at Jiko-in was something we wouldn't have experienced if we went individually, so it was really great.

The guide was interesting and amazing. They kept the participants engaged with various stories and talked throughout the travel and the tour. (It's a tough job.)

Not only were they entertaining, but their knowledge was incredible. Even during traffic jams, they flexibly brought up different topics, which impressed me. They also included recent topics, and I felt they must be constantly learning and staying updated on what to discuss during tours.

I participated in the tour the day after visiting the National Treasure Exhibition, and I thought the guide was a treasure of Nara. I hope they continue to do well and stay energetic. Since I came from Tohoku, I can't often go to Kansai, but I would recommend it to my friends, and I personally want to participate again to meet the guide. Thank you very much!

参加者を飽きさせずに色々なお話をしてくださり、移動中、ツアー中もずっとお話ししてくれました。（大変なお仕事です）

面白いだけではなく、知識量が半端ないです。渋滞した時も臨機応変に違う話を出したりと感心しっぱなしでした。
また最近の話題もあり、普段からツアーで話すことを、アンテナを立ててキャッチしインプットして勉強しているんだろうなと感じました。

今回、国宝展を見た次の日にツアー参加したのですが、ガイドさんは奈良の宝だと思いました。これからも元気で頑張ってほしいです。

The Nara Kotsu sightseeing bus tour included lunch and was a full-day course. This tour provided a sense of security. The service was polite and punctual, and I received a cute towel handkerchief as a memento. The guide's explanations included history with a touch of humor, which was just right.

I was able to visit the places I wanted to go, and having prior explanations helped deepen my understanding of things that I might have just passed by. The tour was packed with visits to Hōryū-ji, Chūgū-ji, lunch & shopping, Jikō-in, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōda-ji, and involved quite a bit of walking. Some participants finished in half a day, so it seems like it can be arranged according to one's physical condition and schedule.

Lunch was kamameshi, which was average... Since it was a souvenir shop, I could do some shopping and received a 10% discount coupon. *There aren't many shopping places on this tour.

At Jikō-in, which I visited for the first time, I was able to enjoy tea service and spend a relaxing time. In the end, I could also see the Suzaku Gate from the bus window, and I thoroughly enjoyed Nara, feeling like I time-traveled back to the Asuka and Heian periods throughout the day. With entrance fees, lunch, tea, and a gift included, it was very economical to efficiently visit so many places in one day!

このツアーは、安心感しかないです。
対応も丁寧で時間も正確、参加記念に可愛いタオルハンカチもいただきました。
ガイドさんの説明は歴史からちょっとしたユーモアあり、ちょうどよい感じです。

行きたかった場所にも行けたし、ただ見るだけでは通りすぎてしまうようなものも、事前に説明があると理解が進みます。
法隆寺・中宮寺・昼食&買い物・慈光院・薬師寺・唐招提寺と盛りだくさんで、かなり歩くツアーでした。半日で終了するかたもいたので、体力や都合に合わせてアレンジできそうです。

お昼は釜飯で、普通でした…お土産店なので買い物もでき、10%オフ券をいただきました。※このツアーでは、買い物する場所はあまりないです。

初めて知った慈光院では、お茶の持てなしもありゆっくりした時間を過ごせましたし、最後には朱雀門も車窓から見ることができ、一日かけて飛鳥・平安の時代にタイムトリップした感じで奈良を満喫しました。
入場料もお昼もお茶もつき、プレゼントもあり、一日でこれだけの場所を効率よく回れるのはとてもお得でした！

I was expecting the driver to provide explanations, but they only guided us to the locations with very little information. It would have been nice if the other drivers in the group had given explanations as well.

First of all, wouldn't it be necessary to have at least the minimum explanations about where we would go, what time, how long we would spend at each place, and what the lunch plans were?

運転手さんが説明もしてくれると期待してましたが、場所を案内するだけで、内容はほとんどありませんでした。同じ仲間の運転手さんが説明してくれることも・・
まず、予定としてどこを何時ごろ、何分くらいで回るとか、昼食はどう予定しているとか、必要最低限の説明は必要ではないでしょうか。

I was taken to Hōryū-ji, Tōshōdaiji, and Yakushi-ji. After listening to interesting stories about the history of Nara in the car, I was able to visit the temples, which was very helpful. During the visit, it was just the two of us, and the driver waited in the parking lot at the meeting point, which was nice as it allowed us to feel at ease. Our driver, Mr. Nakagawa, was extremely experienced, and his smooth driving made it possible for us to relax and enjoy the tour.

法隆寺、唐招提寺、薬師寺に連れて行っていただきました。車内で奈良の歴史、エピソードなど面白く拝聴した後、実際に参拝しましたのでとても参考になりました。参拝中は基本2人だけでドライバーさんは待合せ場所の駐車場で待ってましたが、そのスタイルが変に気を使わずに良かったです。ドライバーの中川さんは超ベテランで運転もスムーズでとてもリラックスしてこのツアーを体験できました。

I have been to Nara twice before, but both times it was rainy and I was not satisfied. I thought it would rain again this time at Hōryū-ji, but I was glad it was sunny.

僕は以前に２回奈良に来ましたがいずれも雨で満足しませんでした。今回の法隆寺はまた雨かと思いましたが、晴れて良かったです。

I confirmed the details of the tour in advance and I am satisfied. More than that, the female tour guide was cheerful, had a clear and easy-to-understand voice, and explained everything well. She was also very considerate, and my wife was happy that she joined the tour.

ツアーの内容は事前に確認済み。満足です。それよりもツアーガイドの女性が明るく、聞き取りやすい大きな声で説明も上手でした。また、気が利く方で妻もツアーに参加して正解だったねと喜んでいました。

I was worried about how to navigate the crowded Nara during Golden Week, but thanks to the experienced driver, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. The driver's knowledge was extensive, and their storytelling was exceptional. Although it was a six-hour course, we extended the time and enjoyed sightseeing until just before our departure.

I definitely want to request this driver again for my next visit to Nara.

GWで大混雑の奈良をどのように回れるか不安でしたが
ベテランドライバーさんのお陰でとても快適に楽しく過ごせました。
ドライバーさんの知識がとても豊富で話術も逸品。
6時間コースでしたが延長してもらい、出発時間ギリギリまで観光を楽しみました。

次回の奈良観光も是非この度のドライバーさんにお願いしたいと思っています。

At the Hōryū-ji Treasure Museum, I was able to see a Kannon statue that is usually not on display. At Tōshōdai-ji, I was shown a flower called keika, which resembles a white hydrangea. There were so many Kannon statues that I couldn't tell them apart, but the guide pointed out which one it was, allowing me to see it. Even though the viewing time for the keika had passed, thanks to the skill of the veteran guide, I was allowed to enter and experience something that I couldn't have done on my own. The guide's explanations were delivered in a relaxed and humorous tone, and I was really glad to have participated in the tour. I've been to Nara many times, but this was my first tour. I highly recommend the tour for those who want to explore efficiently!

法隆寺の宝物館では通常目にふれることができないという観音像を、唐招提寺では瓊花(けいか)という白いガクアジサイに似た木の花を見せていただきました。観音はたくさん仏像がありすぎてよくわからなかったところを、ガイドさんがこれ、と教えてくださり見ることができました。瓊花も拝観時間が過ぎていたのに、さすがはベテランのガイドさんの手腕で入園させていただき、個人ではできない体験ができました。ガイドさんの説明もゆったりとユーモアある口調で、ツアーに参加して本当に良かったです。何回も奈良には行きましたが、ツアーは初めてでした。効率よく廻りたいかたはツアーはおすすめです！
