I decided to try snorkeling for the first time in Ishigaki Island and joined this Blue Cave snorkeling tour. In a word, it was a hit! It was an absolutely amazing experience!! The guide was very kind, always ensuring our safety while keeping us entertained, which made me feel very secure and turned it into a truly moving experience.
In the clear blue sea, you can encounter Nemo and Dory!! Unfortunately, I didn’t meet Crush, but I look forward to that encounter next time.
They also provided a pleasant pick-up service to the hotel, and the guide's talk in the car was full of humor. They shared many recommendations for local restaurants, so getting the latest information directly from them is definitely better than relying on past SMS posts.

During the busy Obon holiday period, we took the Yufuin Water Buffalo Cart Tour in the morning and the Canoe Mangrove Tour in the afternoon. Although our family isn't particularly athletic, they taught us the proper techniques for paddling a canoe, and we were able to manage it well. During the canoe tour, I brought my smartphone in a waterproof case, but I might not have needed it since our guide, Matsuko, took photos and videos for us. She sent the data via LINE on the same day.
It was a very fulfilling day. Even after the tour ended, she shared information about a great coffee café and a place selling pineapples without a vendor, allowing us to enjoy our time until the ferry departure.

We chose to go canoeing with two adults, a middle school student, and an elementary school student. We proceeded with two two-person canoes. Since the water level was high, we were able to paddle deep into the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. It seems that when the water level is low, you can get out of the canoe and walk. Our time on Yubu Island flew by as we strolled and enjoyed gelato.

We participated in our first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience and sea turtle snorkeling as a family of five on Miyako Island. It was our first time doing SUP, but the staff were very cheerful and kind, which made us feel safe and glad we participated. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles while snorkeling, but a funny guy from Kansai with a wonderful smile worked hard to take pictures with Nemo, and we are grateful for the lovely memories captured in those photos. Due to the boat swaying, about 7 out of 30 people ended up vomiting. People of all ages, from children to adults, were getting sick both going and coming back... Everyone was holding black bags... It was quite an indescribable tour.
We had time for snorkeling twice, but the first time was just to get used to it. I thought I had entered the water, but I got out right away. I was waiting in line towards the back for entering the sea, so my time in the water might have been shorter as a result.
I suddenly joined a tour to see sea turtles and paid the participation fee midway, but only one out of four family members got to see them.
They seemed to be quite far away and small.
I guess we were just unlucky...
The staff moved quickly and were always smiling, which was great.

We participated as two families. It was our first time canoeing, and it was a valuable experience to feel the power of the magnificent mangrove nature. The subsequent trekking led us to the majestic Pinai Sara Falls, where we felt a mystical atmosphere, and it was truly moving! Jumping into the waterfall was incredibly refreshing! The snorkeling tour was also very satisfying, as we got to see beautiful coral and sea turtles. I made a last-minute reservation for a canoe at Kabira Bay, and I was moved by its beauty beyond my imagination.
On the day of the trip, the weather was clear after the typhoon, and there were few people, which were great conditions. The other members of the group were friendly, and thanks to our cheerful and energetic guide, Yuuki, we were able to enjoy a wonderful time together.
Actually, even though my reservation was confirmed the night before, I received a call that it was fully booked for the morning and would be in the afternoon instead. There were also some misunderstandings about the meeting place, and I was feeling discouraged due to the high-pressure attitude of the phone receptionist. However, thanks to Yuuki and Kabira Bay, those feelings were blown away. Thank you! The night jungle tour was also fun, and I was able to enjoy a starry sky that felt like it was raining down.
I look forward to visiting Ishigaki Island again!

I wanted to go to the Blue Cave, so I signed up for this tour, but for the past three weeks, due to issues with the waves and tide levels, we couldn't go, and it was changed to snorkeling at Shigira Beach.
It was disappointing, but the changed location of Shigira Beach had perfect facilities like the sea, food, and restrooms. Even after the typhoon, the water clarity was high, and it truly felt like a natural aquarium! The kids were also very satisfied. I'll save the Blue Cave for another opportunity.
After that, we moved to a different spot for my first experience with SUP, and the instructors were kind and warm, making it a lot of fun! Even after the tour ended and we parted ways, they kindly helped me with my private plans for the following days, and I plan to follow their advice tomorrow. Thank you, Kyoppi!
Also, one of the other instructors was from the same hometown, and we had a great time chatting about local niche topics. I hope you can reconcile with your dad soon (laughs).

青の洞窟に行きたくて、このツアーに申し込んだのですが、ここ3週間ほど波と潮位の問題で行けてないとのことで、シギラビーチのシュノーケリングに変更となりました。
残念でしたが、変更となったシギラビーチは海、食事、トイレなど設備が完璧に整ったビーチで、台風のあとでも海の透明度が高く、本当に自然の水族館のようでした！子どもたちも大満足でした。青の洞窟はまた次の機会に置いておきます。
その後、場所を少し移動してSUPの初体験をしたのですが、インストラクターの方々が親切で温かく、とても楽しめました！ツアーが終わって別れたあとも、翌日以降のプライベートの予定について親身に相談にのっていただき、明日は言われた通りに行動しようと思っています。きょっぴさん、ありがとうございました！
また、別のインストラクターの1人の方がピンポイントで地元がいっしょで、地元のマニアックな話で盛り上がり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。早くお父さんと仲直りできるといいですね(笑)

We participated as a family of five. It was our first time canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, but we received thorough instructions, and everyone was thrilled. The snorkeling tour was even more enjoyable than we imagined, and the guide took plenty of photos, which made us very happy. The process from check-in to the end was smooth and reassuring. The sea in Kerama was beautiful.
However, the tour had too many people. We were divided into groups for snorkeling, but when we got too close to other groups, we were told to separate! It was hard to hear while snorkeling underwater, so there were unavoidable parts to this, and I wished the organizers had considered this a bit more.
They rushed us when we were trying to get into the water or put on our masks. This tour wasn't suitable for me.
I couldn't enjoy it much, and most of the half-day was spent waiting on the boat.
Next time, I think I'll go for a smaller tour.

でも、ツアーは人が多すぎて、、シュノーケルはグループに分かれましたが、途中で他のグループに近づいてしまうと離れてください！とかいわれるのですが、海の中ですし、シュノーケルしてるとよく聞こえなかったりもするので致し方ない部分もあり、もう少し運営側の考慮も欲しかったです。
海にはいるタイミングやマスク装着に手間取ってると急かさせるし、、私には向いていないツアーでした
あまり楽しめず、ボートで待っている時間が大半の半日となってしまいました
次回はもっとこじんまりしたツアーでいこうと思いました

I made a reservation for a mangrove canoe experience on a day trip to Iriomote Island. It turned out to be very good. Komasan was in charge, and she was wonderful; the canoe time was very enjoyable. Thank you very much for this experience. I was completely satisfied with the day, enjoying the Pinai Sara Falls in the morning and snorkeling along with the mountains and sea of Iriomote Island in the afternoon. Additionally, I was fortunate to have a great guide, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the activities.
I have done snorkeling at over ten spots in Okinawa, but the coral in Iriomote was the best of all. I was also able to swim with sea turtles.
I definitely want to visit Iriomote Island again.

As stated, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience incredibly enjoyable! They taught us various names of fish and took many wonderful photos! Swimming from Maeda Point allowed us to see plenty of fish along the way, and it was more fun than going by boat to the snorkeling spots! All the photos they took were beautiful and will be great memories. Some photos were available for a fee, but they kindly provided them for free via AirDrop! I will definitely rely on them again next time!

We were extremely satisfied with the plan that allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in just one day! I participated in a mangrove tour on Iriomote Island! The guide, Shika-chan, was reliable and cheerful. With her smile and lively talk, the tour was filled with a fun atmosphere the entire time. As we moved through the mangrove forest, she explained the unique vegetation and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a clear and very detailed manner, leaving us amazed with many "Wow!" moments.

西表島でのマングローブツアーに参加してきました！
案内してくれたのは、頼もしくて明るいガイドのしかちゃん。笑顔と軽快なトークで、ツアー中ずっと楽しい雰囲気に包まれていました。マングローブ林の中を進みながら、西表島ならではの豊かな植生や生き物のことを、わかりやすく、しかもとても丁寧に説明してくれて、「へぇ〜！」と驚くことばかり。
ただ観光するだけでは知ることのできない自然の魅力や島の歴史も知ることができて、本当に勉強になりました。穏やかな水面に映る緑、耳を澄ませば聞こえてくる野鳥の声…五感すべてで西表島を満喫できた時間でした。
しかちゃん、本当にありがとうございました！また遊びに来たいです。

The snorkeling, the phantom island, and the mangrove canoeing were all fantastic experiences. The instructor was very kind and took many photos for us. If I have the opportunity to come back to Ishigaki Island, I would definitely like to experience it again.

The day before our reservation, a tsunami warning was issued, and the warning was not lifted on the day of our experience. However, since we were staying another day, we were able to reschedule and participate. Marine leisure activities inherently come with some risks, so I really appreciated that they provided an alternative plan instead of pushing through.
It was our first time snorkeling as a parent-child duo, but the guide taught us carefully, and we were able to enjoy it safely! We saw many beautiful fish in the clear sea, and we were very satisfied. We also took a lot of photos, which added to our travel memories. Thank you very much!
予約していた前日に津波注意報が発表され体験日も注意報が解除されなかったのですが、次の日も滞在していたこともあって日程を振り替えてもらい参加しました。多少なりとも危険を伴うのがマリンレジャーですから、強行突破せずに代替案をくださるのがとても好感を持てました。
親子共に初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、ガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくださり安全に楽しめました！
透明度の高い海で綺麗な魚が沢山見れて大満足です。写真も沢山撮って頂き、旅の思い出が増えました。ありがとうございました！
It might be a good idea for your child to practice breathing through their mouth. Since it's summer vacation, the parking lot was crowded and full, so I recommend going with some extra time to spare.

Participated in the early morning tour. Despite being a popular spot during summer vacation, there were no other tour boats that day, and while there were some individuals visiting, it felt almost like a private tour. The tour's claims are definitely true!
I think early morning meet-ups can be tough while traveling, but the price is low, and it's definitely worth it.

Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy the colorful fish and coral reefs, and it was a lot of fun; it was a valuable experience. The photos taken were all beautiful and became great memories. 当日は波が高く、シュノーケルツアーが中止になってしまうかもしれない状態でしたが、ギリギリ催行できて、本当に運が良かったと思っています。おかげさまで、色とりどりの魚たちやサンゴ礁を楽しむことが出来て、とても楽しかったですし、貴重な体験をさせていただきました。

I wasn't confident in my swimming, so I held onto a float, but I think those who can swim to some extent would enjoy observing the underwater world more freely if they swam a little further away.
