I was worried that my child might not last from morning until evening, but our guide, Macchan, always kept a smile and energized the group. He helped us find creatures that would excite the kids and was a great conversation partner on the bus ride back. I can't express enough gratitude until the very end. If I have the chance again, I would like to sign up for this tour! ♬

朝から夕方まで長丁場で子供が最後までもつか不安もありましたが、ガイドのまっちゃんがいつも笑顔で盛り上げてくださり、子供のテンションが上がりそうな生き物を探してくださったり、帰りのバスの中でもたくさん話し相手になっていただき、最後の最後まで感謝しかありません。また機会があればこちらのツアーを申し込みたいと思います♬

The weather on the day was perfect, and the blue cave looked absolutely beautiful, which was truly moving. I was able to feel the mysteries of nature up close, making it a very special experience.

Our guide, Mako, was very cheerful and approachable, and the conversations were enjoyable, creating a fun atmosphere throughout the tour. The explanations were clear, allowing us to participate with peace of mind. She also paid careful attention to the children, which was really helpful.

During snorkeling, we saw a lot of fish, and it was so exciting! The underwater world was even more beautiful than I had imagined, and I was very satisfied.

After that, I participated in a mangrove canoe tour. Our guide, Sugi, explained the ecology and characteristics of the mangroves in a very understandable way, which was very educational. Spending time in nature was truly refreshing and rejuvenating for my mind.

The guides were very kind and cheerful, maintaining a fun atmosphere throughout. The children got to ride on the SUP, which was thrilling! It was a rare experience that we don't often get to have, and I was very satisfied.

Both tours were truly wonderful and became the best memories of my time in Ishigaki Island. I would love to participate again!

当日はお天気も最高で、青い洞窟が本当に綺麗に見えて感動しました。自然の神秘を間近で感じることができ、とても特別な体験でした。

ガイドのmakoちゃんはとても明るくて親しみやすく、お話も楽しく、ツアー中ずっと楽しい雰囲気でした。説明もわかりやすく、安心して参加できました。子供にも丁寧に気を配っていただき、本当に助かりました。

シュノーケリングでは魚がたくさん見られて大興奮！海の中の世界は想像以上に綺麗で、大満足でした。

その後、マングローブのカヌーツアーにも参加しました。
ガイドのすぎちゃんは、マングローブの生態や特徴についてとてもわかりやすく説明してくださり、大変勉強になりました。自然の中でゆったりと過ごす時間は本当に気持ちよく、心までリフレッシュできました。

ガイドさんはとても親切で明るく、終始楽しい雰囲気でした。子供たちをSUPに乗せていただき、大興奮！普段なかなかできない貴重な体験ができて、大満足です。

どちらのツアーも本当に素晴らしく、石垣島での最高の思い出になりました。またぜひ参加したいです。

The tour to Barasu Island was canceled due to the sea weather, but in the morning, I went to Yufu Island. There was a brief moment of sunshine, and while riding the water buffalo, the sun reflected off the waves, creating a beautiful scene. There were also places where we could take pictures with the water buffalo, and I enjoyed looking at the blooming flowers and walking along the beach. A quick stroll around Yufu Island allowed me to see everything within the time limit. It was just perfect for a leisurely walk.

In the afternoon, the mangrove canoeing was quite an adventure! The river leading into the mangrove forest had surprisingly strong winds (I think this was due to the weather on that day, haha). Once we entered the mangroves, it felt mystical; it was definitely worth the visit. On the way back, everyone from the tour worked together to cross the river (a collaborative effort right at the start of the new year).

It was a tour where I could feel the power and grandeur of nature. Overall, I had a great time!

海の天候でバラス島のツアーはキャンセルになったのですが、午前中に由布島行きに、晴れ間も一瞬広がって水牛に乗ってる間波に太陽が反射してとてもきれいでした。水牛と写真撮ってもらえるところもあり、咲いてる花をみたり浜辺歩いたり、由布島内散策もさーっと回れば時間内に全て見れました。あさんぽにちょうどよかったです。
午後からマングローブカヌーはもうアドベンチャー笑　マングローブ林に入るまでの川がびっくりするくらいの強風（これは天気の問題でこの日はこうだったんだと思います笑）
マングローブに入ると神秘的、これは行く価値ありです。帰りはツアー参加のみんなで力を合わせて川横断（新年早々の共同作業）
自然のパワーと壮大さを感じれたツアーでした。結果、とても楽しかったです♪

The weather was perfect, making for an amazing day. I am very grateful to our guides, Macchan and Sugichan, for providing such a fun time! During the mangrove tour, we were able to see a crested serpent eagle flying very close and hear its calls clearly. I was worried about whether I could paddle in the canoe since it was my first time, but they taught us very patiently, and my daughter and I managed just fine. You will get wet from the waist down, but you get used to it quickly. Even though it's February, the weather was so nice, and I was surprised by the strength of the sunlight. I regretted not being more prepared for sunburn. The cuteness of the water buffalo was healing. I couldn't help but laugh at Kirara, the water buffalo, as she worked while making sounds. The time spent at Yubu Island was only one hour, and it felt too short, especially since the interaction and photo opportunities with the water buffalo were crowded; I wished we had a bit more time. Even during the bus ride, Macchan kept us entertained with his guidance, so we never got bored. I'm glad I participated in this all-inclusive tour. I highly recommend taking a tour rather than going solo.

天気に恵まれ最高の1日になりました。ガイドのまっちゃん、すぎちゃんのお二人に楽しい時間をもらえた事、とても感謝します！マングローブツアーではカンムリワシがとても近くで飛んではっきり姿を見れ鳴声も聞けました。初めてのカヌーで前に進めるか心配でしたがとても丁寧に教えて頂き娘と二人でも大丈夫でした。お尻から下は濡れます、でもすぐ慣れます。2月なのにとても天気が良く日差しの強さにビックリです。日焼け対策甘かったと後悔しました。水牛の可愛らしさに癒されました。水牛のキララちゃんが鳴きながらお仕事する姿に思わず笑ってしまいました。水牛とのふれあい撮影が混んでいると由布島の滞在時間1時間ではあっという間で、もう少し時間欲しかったです。移動のバスの中でもまっちゃんがガイドしてくれるので退屈しませんでした。至れり尽くせりのツアーで参加して良かったです。個人でまわるよりツアーおすすめです

The temperature was low, and the wind was strong, making it a rough day for canoeing. Because of the bad weather, I had an unforgettable canoeing experience as I navigated through the mangroves, encountering various unexpected events along the way.

気温が低い上に風が強く、大時化でのカヌーでした。
天候が悪かったからこそ、ハプニングに見舞われながらマングローブをカヌーで巡る体験ができたので、一生忘れられないカヌー体験となりました。

I stayed at a hotel on Iriomote Island, and I was very grateful for the free shuttle service to the hotel. The weather was unusually clear for this time of year, and it was warm! In the morning, we took a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island. Each water buffalo has its own personality, and the relaxed time we spent was wonderful. Yubu Island has many attractions, and there was so much to see that we didn't have enough time. In the afternoon, we went kayaking (you can also choose SUP) through the mangroves. You definitely need clothes that can get wet since your backside will get soaked, but the experience of being surrounded by nature was truly moving. Our guide, Shu, explained everything about Iriomote Island in detail and took lots of photos, which added to our memories. It's a tour that beginners can join with confidence.

西表島ホテルに宿泊していましたが、ホテルまで無料送迎していただけてとても助かりました。天気もこの時期ではあまりない快晴だったようで、暖かかったです！午前中は水牛車で由布島へ。水牛それぞれに性格があって可愛く、のんびりした時間が最高でした。由布島は見どころが多く、時間が足りないくらい充実しています。午後はカヤック（SUPも選べます）でマングローブの中へ。お尻がしっかり濡れるので濡れてもいい服必須ですが、大自然に包まれる体験は感動もの。ガイドのShuさんが西表島のことも丁寧に説明してくださり、写真もたくさん撮ってくれて思い出が増えました。初心者でも安心して参加できるツアーです。

It was my first time snorkeling domestically, but the facilities were well-equipped and the staff were friendly, so I had a fun and comfortable experience. I truly think the beauty of Kerama Blue is amazing. I was also satisfied to see whales.

国内シュノーケリングは初めてでしたが、設備が整っていて、スタッフも親切だったので楽しく快適に過ごしました。慶良間ブルーの美しさは本当に素晴らしいと思います。

The sightseeing in Yubu Island was a wonderfully relaxing experience. The time spent crossing the sea on a water buffalo cart felt special, and I was delighted to see the water buffalo up close. Their calm expressions and strong presence were truly soothing.

The island is filled with subtropical plants, and I was excited to see the vibrant flowers and large trees that are not often seen in everyday life. It was a lovely place where I could feel the richness of nature and enjoy a leisurely time.

The mangrove kayaking tour I experienced in Iriomote Island was incredibly fun. As we gently paddled down the river, we were able to see the mangrove forests up close, allowing me to forget my daily routine and refresh myself. Even as a beginner, I felt safe and enjoyed the experience because I was taught carefully. It was a wonderful experience that reminded me of the joy of moving my body in nature.

由布島の観光は、のんびりとした時間が流れていてとても心地よい体験でした。水牛車に揺られながら海を渡る時間は特別感があり、間近で水牛を見ることができて嬉しかったです。穏やかな表情や力強い姿に癒されました。
島内には亜熱帯の植物がたくさんあり、普段なかなか見ることのない色鮮やかな花や大きな木々にワクワクしました。自然の豊かさを感じられる、ゆったりと楽しめる素敵な場所でした。

西表島で体験したマングローブカヤックツアーは、本当に楽しかったです。ゆったりと川を進みながら、間近でマングローブ林を見ることができ、日常を忘れてリフレッシュできました。初めてでも丁寧に教えてもらえたので安心して楽しめましたし、自然の中で体を動かす気持ちよさを改めて実感できる素敵な体験でした。

I participated in a sea turtle snorkeling tour and beach SUP. I was worried it might be cold since it was February, but thanks to the wetsuit, I was able to snorkel without any issues. Compared to summer, the winter sea has higher visibility, and I could clearly see the seabed and the fish swimming in the distance. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see any sea turtles this time, so I would like to try again in the summer. The SUP was held in an area with little wave action, making it easy for beginners to try. The instructor taught us various things, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip. Thank you very much! I look forward to visiting Miyako Island again.

ウミガメシュノーケリングツアーとビーチSUPに参加しました。2月なので寒いのではないかと心配でしたが、ウェットスーツのおかけで問題なくシュノーケリングできました。夏に比べて冬の海の透明度は高く、海底がはっきりみえて遠くにいる魚達もよく見えました。今回はウミガメは見ることはできなかったので、次回は夏に再挑戦したいと思います。SUPは波の少ないところでの開催だったので、初心者の方でも挑戦しやすいと思います。インストラクターの方にも色々なことを教えていただき、素敵な旅になりました☆ありがとうございました。また宮古島に旅行の際にはよろしくお願いいたします。

I participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island, and even with the limited time of half a day, it was a very fulfilling tour where I could fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island!

During the initial mangrove canoe experience, it wasn't just about enjoying the scenery; the instructor explained the types of mangroves and various creatures in an easy-to-understand manner, allowing us to truly feel the nature of Iriomote Island.

We crossed the sea to Yubu Island by water buffalo cart. On Yubu Island, we had about an hour of free time, which was enough to enjoy taking pictures with the water buffalo. Even during the bus ride, we were introduced to many interesting facts about Iriomote Island, making the travel time enjoyable and never boring.

石垣島から日帰りで参加しましたが、半日という限られた時間でも西表島の大自然をしっかり満喫できる、とても充実したツアーでした！
最初のマングローブカヌー体験では、ただ景色を楽しむだけでなく、インストラクターの方がマングローブの種類や生き物の話などを分かりやすく教えてくださり、西表島の自然を感じることができました。
由布島へは水牛車に乗って海を渡りました。由布島では約1時間の自由時間がありましたが、水牛と写真を撮ったりと十分に楽しめました。移動中のバスでも西表島に関する豆知識をたくさん紹介していただき、移動時間も退屈することなく、終始楽しく過ごすことができました。

I visited in February! It was a cloudy day with strong winds, and the river was choppy. It seems that this time of year has a lot of rain and windy days.

The mangrove canoeing was challenging because of the wind, but it was also a fun experience in the jungle's natural environment! I was able to see the mangrove trees up close! I was amazed and moved to learn that they grow slowly and many are over 100 years old!

The sightseeing at Yubu Island, which we reached by water buffalo cart, felt like no time at all during our one-hour stay. Of course, riding the water buffalo cart was fun, and I also took pictures with the water buffalo named Rui-kun and enjoyed gelato at a tea shop, experiencing the unique offerings of Yubu Island! The entire island is like a botanical garden, and just walking around was enjoyable!

The tour guides were also entertaining, and I was able to enjoy the tour, including their stories during our travels. I would love to participate in other activities as well!

2月に訪れました！この日は曇り空に強風で、川が波立っていました。この時期は雨が多く風が強い日が多いようです。

マングローブカヌーは、風に煽られて漕ぐのが大変でしたが、それもまたジャングルの自然の体験として楽しかったです！マングローブの木を間近で見ることができました！成長が遅く、樹齢100年以上のものばかりということに驚き、感動しました！

水牛車に乗って行った由布島観光は、1時間の滞在時間があっという間でした。
水牛車に乗ることはもちろん、水牛のルイ君と写真を撮ったり、お茶屋さんでジェラートを食べたりと、由布島ならではの体験ができました！島全体が植物園になっていて、歩いているだけでも楽しかったです！

ツアーガイドの皆さまもおもしろく、移動中のお話含め、ツアーを楽しむことができました。
また他のアクティビティにも参加したいです！

I had booked an afternoon tour on February 8, but due to a record cold wave, I was discouraged by the cold and rain. When I requested to change the date, they responded very kindly.

The canoe tour the following morning became the best memory for my wife and me in five years. Our tour guide, Macchan, was very knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and taught us about the mangroves and fish, making it a very enjoyable experience beyond just the scenery.

Despite it being the day after the rain, the water was very clear, and we were able to see the fish. Handling the canoe was very easy, and even beginners can enjoy it.

After the tour, they also guided us to dining spots around Uehara Port. I would love to request their services again when we come back to Iriomote Island. It became a wonderful memory for my wife and me.

2月8日の午後ツアーを予約していたのですが、記録的な寒波のため、寒さと雨で心が折れ、日程の変更をお願いしたところ、非常に親切に対応していただきました。
翌日の午前中のカヌーツアーは、妻と5年振りの最高の思い出になりました。
ツアーガイドのまっちゃんは、西表島の知識が豊富で、マングローブの事や魚の事を教えてくれて、景色のみでは無く、非常に楽しめました。
また、雨の次の日であったのに関わらず、とても水が済んでおり、魚が見ることができました。
カヌーの取り扱いは、非常に簡単で、初めてでも楽しめます。
それとツアー後には、上原港周辺の食事どころの案内してくれました。
また、西表島に来る際は、お願いしたいと思います。
妻と最高の思い出になりました。

I booked a day tour that included a SUP tour in the mangroves and snorkeling in the Blue Cave. The guide was very knowledgeable about Ishigaki Island and the mangroves, and I learned a lot, which was enjoyable. The day before, I received a phone call explaining the details of the tour. I thought I understood the overview of the tour, but I had some misunderstandings, so it was good to confirm everything. Unfortunately, the snorkeling in the Blue Cave in the afternoon was canceled due to bad conditions, which was disappointing, but the mangrove tour in the morning was fulfilling enough to leave me very satisfied. Thank you!

マングローブでのSUPツアーと青の洞窟でのシュノーケリングがセットになった一日ツアーを申し込みました。
ガイドさんは石垣島やマングローブの知識が豊富でいろいろと教えて頂き楽しかったです。
前日にお電話でツアーに関する詳細の説明がありました。ツアーの概要は理解しているつもりでしたが、勘違いもあり確認いただいて良かったです。
午後からの青の洞窟はコンディションが悪いと言うことでキャンセルとなり残念でしたが、午前中のマングローブツアーだけでも十分満足出来るほど充実したツアーでした。

The wind was strong, so we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but as an alternative, we went to Shigira Beach where we were able to see a lot of sea turtles! A curly-haired guy guided us, checking our condition each time and explaining about the marine life. He also took many photos for us, helping us create wonderful memories! Thank you very much!

風が強く、青の洞窟には行くことが出来ませんでしたが、代換え案で行かせていただいたシギラビーチはウミガメをたくさん見ることができました！髪がくるくるなお兄さんが指導してくださりましたが、都度体調確認や海の生物の説明をしてくださったり、写真もたくさん撮って下さり楽しい思い出作りが出来ました！ありがとうございました！

Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to the weather, but the snorkeling at the "Phantom Island" we were taken to instead was amazing! I received a thoughtful confirmation call the day before, which allowed me to look forward to the day with excitement.

The boat rocked a bit and made me feel a little seasick, but the underwater scenery was filled with the beautiful blue fish and coral unique to Okinawa, which quickly made me forget my discomfort. I was worried about the cold winter sea water, but thanks to the kind support from our guide, I was able to enjoy the experience throughout.

I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see a sea turtle, but the burger place and the yakiniku restaurant I was told about during the return ride were exceptional. I definitely want to go see sea turtles next time.

あいにくの天候で青の洞窟へは行けませんでしたが、代わりに案内された「幻の島」でのシュノーケルが最高でした！
前日に丁寧な確認連絡をいただけたので、期待を胸に当日を迎えられました。

少し船が揺れて酔ってしまいましたが、海の中には沖縄ならではの青い魚とサンゴが広がっていて、その美しさに酔いも一瞬で吹き飛びました。
冬の冷たい海水が心配でしたが、ガイドさんが優しくサポートしてくれたおかげで、終始楽しく体験できて良かったです。

ウミガメに会えなかったのは心残りですが、帰りの送迎で教えてもらったハンバーガー屋さんと焼肉屋さんが絶品でした。
次はぜひウミガメを見に行きたいです。

I had a truly fulfilling time participating in this tour. It was my first experience paddling through the mangroves on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and I was deeply moved as I slowly glided over the calm water, observing rare plants and creatures that are not often seen up close. The guide's explanations were clear, and I appreciated learning about nature and the formation of Iriomote Island. The water buffalo cart tour on Yubu Island also provided a unique experience, and I was very satisfied with the many photos I was able to take. I believe this tour is perfect for beginners and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This tour is definitely satisfying for those visiting Iriomote Island for the first time! Our guide, Macchan, introduced us to many aspects of Iriomote Island, making it a wonderful memory. The mangrove canoeing was not only a chance to observe up close, but we also entered maze-like areas and took many photos, which was a lot of fun. Each water buffalo on Yubu Island had its own personality, and the guide's explanations were entertaining, keeping us engaged throughout. We were able to spend a graceful and meaningful time, and I definitely want to visit again!

It was my first time doing SUP in the mangroves, but since it was on a calm river, I felt safe doing it. The instructor was kind, which made it enjoyable.

初めてのマングローブでのSUPでしたが穏やかな川でのSUPでしたので安心してできました。
インストラクターも優しいので楽しくできました。

Due to the weather, we switched from ballast to trekking, and I was able to experience nature with all my senses! In the morning, we went trekking, and in the afternoon, we did mangrove SUP.

During the trekking, we saw a waterfall in the mountains and even did something like waterfall meditation, experiencing the great outdoors by jumping in. There were some heights that required a bit of courage to jump from, but our guide, Macchan, demonstrated techniques and provided reassurance, allowing me to jump in with confidence.

On the mangrove SUP, we got to see the mangroves of Iriomote Island up close and entered a tunnel-like area of mangroves, making me feel like I was on an adventure in the jungle. During the mangrove SUP, I learned about various birds and types of mangroves.

What is common to both activities is that Macchan, who guided us through the tours, shared a wealth of information about the plants, creatures, and locations of Iriomote Island. Personally, I didn't have much knowledge about plants and animals, but thanks to the real experiences and knowledge shared by our guide, I was able to learn a lot and found it to be incredibly profound.

I believe the charm of this activity lies not only in the experiences but also in the ability to truly feel and engage with nature.

天候により、バラストからトレッキングに変えたのですが自然を五感で感じることができました！午前はトレッキング、午後はマングローブSUPをしました。
トレッキングでは、山の中にある滝を見て滝行のようなこともしたり飛び込みで大自然を体感できました。飛び込みには少し勇気がいる高さもありましたが、案内してくれるまっちゃんがコツやデモンストレーションをしてくださるため安心して飛び込むことができました。
マングローブSUPでは、西表島のマングローブを近くで見て、マングローブのトンネルのようなところに入ってまるで私がジャングルにいるような冒険をしているような気分になれました。マングローブSUPでは、いろんな鳥やマングローブの種類について知ることができました。
二つのアクティビティに共通していることは、どのツアーも一緒に行ってくださるまっちゃんが植物や生き物、場所などたくさん西表島のことを存分に伝えてくださることです。自身、あまり植物や生物に関して知識がなかったのですが、一緒に行ってくださった方の実体験や経験、知識を存分に教えてくださるため自身の知識も身に付きましたし、すごく奥深いなと感じました。
体験だけではなく、体感できるところがこのアクティビティの魅力だと考えます。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. The weather was bad, so we had to skip Barasu Island and switch to trekking, but it was the right decision, and I had an amazing experience. I was very happy to be able to experience the same place that Debi from Itte Q visited!

The guide was fantastic and very kind, and he really made the experience enjoyable. Matsuchan, our guide, made me feel great, and even though I was scared, I jumped into the river and successfully went trekking at the age of 52. The stories about the real life of Matsuchan and the locals, as well as tales from the island's elders, were fascinating. The mangrove canoeing was also incredible and very beautiful. You absolutely should experience it!

西表島は初めて訪問しました。気候が悪くバラス島は無しになり、トレッキングに変更になりましたが、変えて正解で最高な体験ができました。イッテQでデビ夫人が行かれた所と一緒の場所を体験でき、とても嬉しかったです！
そして、ガイドさんが最高で優しく、盛り上げてくださいました。ガイドの松ちゃんがとても良い気分にさせてくれて、怖かったけど川に飛び込んだり、無事に52歳ですがトレッキングする事ができました。松ちゃん達が住んでいるリアルな話や、島のおじいの話など面白かったです。マングローブのカヌーも最高でとても綺麗でした。絶対に体験した方が良いです！

It was our first time snorkeling for both of us, but the time flew by and it turned out to be a fulfilling day! Our guide, Hina, provided us with detailed information about marine life, and we even got to see a sea snake! I would like to use this service again when I come back to Ishigaki Island next time!

2人も初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、あっという間に時間が過ぎ充実した日になりました！

It was a winter snorkeling experience, but since I was wearing a wetsuit, I hardly felt the cold and was able to enjoy it comfortably. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to the weather conditions, but our guide, Sugimori, explained the situation thoroughly each time and I felt that safety was given ample consideration. He made sure to check on each participant as we progressed, which allowed me to feel secure during the experience.

冬のシュノーケリング体験でしたが、ウエットスーツを着用していたため寒さはほとんど感じず、快適に楽しむことができました。天候の影響で青の洞窟には行くことができず残念でしたが、その都度ガイドの杉森さんが状況を丁寧に説明してくださり、安全面にも十分配慮されていると感じました。参加者一人ひとりの様子を確認しながら進めてくださったため、安心して体験することができました。

In the morning, I went to Yufu Island, and in the afternoon, I went canoeing on the Urauchi River. I participated alone, but everyone else was very kind, and they helped me a lot during the canoeing. I got stuck in shallow water and had trouble moving forward because of the strong wind, so it was quite chaotic. However, our guide, Macchan (Matsushita-san), supported me the whole time, and in the end, he got into my canoe, and we paddled together to safely return. There were various participants, including solo travelers, families, couples, and foreigners, and a sense of teamwork developed, making it a lot of fun.

午前中に由布島へ行き、午後から浦内川でカヌーでした。ひとり参加でしたが、他の参加者のみなさんがとても優しく、カヌー中はみなさんにたくさん助けていただきました。浅瀬で座礁したり、風が強くて前に進めなくなったりとだいぶグダグダでしたが、ガイドのまっちゃん(松下さん)がずっとフォローしてくださり、最終的には私のカヌーに乗り込んで2人で漕いで無事に帰ることができました。
1人参加、親子、夫婦、外国の方など様々いましたが、チームワークみたいなものが生まれて楽しかったです。

The guide was a friendly person and taught us a lot of interesting facts about mangroves. It was all new information for me, and I learned a lot. I was concerned about the cold weather in January, but on the day of the tour, the weather was great, and the breeze in the mangroves was gentle, making it very pleasant.

If you're going to Iriomote Island, you can't miss the mangroves, so I joined this one-day tour with the intention of kayaking. I was excited even before participating, and it turned out to be an incredibly satisfying experience, just as I had hoped! 🌟

It was my first time kayaking, but our guide, Macchan, was absolutely amazing!

His explanations were very clear, and he was friendly and attentive throughout. I felt safe and enjoyed myself. ☺️

The time spent navigating through the mangrove tunnel was calm and pleasant, and the scenery was truly beautiful.

On the other hand, it was a windy day, and I used a bit of energy while paddling through the tributaries. (Some women might find it challenging on their own.)

During the bus ride, he talked a lot about the island's nature and lifestyle, making what could have been just travel time into a learning experience, which was impressive! I was unexpectedly moved when I saw him doing a handstand on the SUP. Haha!

In the afternoon, we took a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island while listening to the sanshin performance, moving leisurely. 🐃 The island was quiet with few people, making it a perfect tour for my first visit to Iriomote Island!

西表島に行くならマングローブは外せないと思い、カヌー目当てでこの1日ツアーに参加しました。参加前からワクワクしていて、「自然すごそう！」という期待通り、想像以上に満足度の高い体験でした🌟

カヌーは初めてでしたが、担当ガイドのまっちゃんさんがとにかく素晴らしかったです！

説明がとてもわかりやすく、終始フレンドリーで丁寧。安心して楽しめました☺️

マングローブのトンネルを進む時間は穏やかで心地よく、景色も本当にきれいでした。

一方、この日は風が強く、支流を漕ぐ場面では少し体力を使いました。
（女性だけだと大変に感じる人もいるかもしれません）

移動中のバスでも島の自然や暮らしについてたくさん話してくれて、ただの移動時間が学びの時間になったのも印象的でした！
SUPの上で逆立ちしていたのには思わず感動しました笑

午後の由布島水牛車では、三線の演奏を聴きながらゆったり移動🐃
島内も人が少なく落ち着いて過ごせて、初めての西表島にぴったりのツアーでしたー！

This time, I was taken care of by Matt-chan on the tour. During the car ride, I was able to hear various stories about the history and nature of Iriomote Island, which deepened my understanding and allowed me to enjoy the sightseeing even more.

In the morning, we went to Yubu Island. We traveled back and forth by water buffalo. I learned that water buffalo hardly sweat, so there was no animal smell at all. They were smart, gentle, and incredibly cute. They were even cuter than I expected, and I ended up buying a lot of water buffalo merchandise at the souvenir shop on Yubu Island.

For lunch, we ate at a restaurant recommended by Matt-chan, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed a mangrove canoe experience. They took tour photos with the mangroves in the background. The canoe did get my backside wet, but I was able to take a shower at the end. Since it was winter, the water was a bit cold, but as long as I wore a long-sleeved shirt, I didn't feel cold even with the wind blowing. Surrounded by the wide river and mangroves, I felt the pleasant breeze and negative ions, fully enjoying the great outdoors. It was the best!

今回、担当のまっちゃんさんにツアーでお世話になりました。車の移動中には西表島の歴史や自然についてのお話をいろいろ聞けて、理解が深まりより西表島観光を楽しむことがでしました。

午前は由布島へ。水牛で往復しました。水牛は汗をほぼかかないそうで、全く獣臭がなくて賢くて穏やかでとっても可愛かったです。
思っていたより可愛すぎて、由布島のお土産屋さんで沢山水牛グッズを買ってしてしまいました。

お昼には、まっちゃんさんおすすめのご飯屋さんで昼食をとり、午後からはマングローブカヌーを楽しみました。
マングローブを背景にツアー写真を撮ってくださいました。カヌーはお尻がぬれますが、最後にシャワーを浴びれました。冬なので少し水は冷たいですが、長袖を1枚着ていれば風が吹いても寒くなかったです。
マングローブに囲まれた広い川の真ん中で心地よい風やマイナスイオンを感じ、大自然を満喫できました。最高でした。

The week we visited, the weather was bad, but during the time we went, we were able to see some sunshine, and we even encountered a sea turtle, which is quite rare. We made wonderful memories as a family, thank you very much.

訪問した週は、天候が悪かったのですが、私達がいった時間だけは晴れ間も見え、
なかなかみれないというウミガメにも出会えました。家族で最高の思い出ができ、ありがとうございました。

I participated in the SUP + snorkeling experience tour. I learned SUP from Hiro, who speaks in a lively Kansai dialect. He kindly taught me how to paddle and gave me tips, so once I got the hang of it, I was able to paddle freely and had a lot of fun!

We were blessed with great weather, and they took many photos, which made me very satisfied!

For snorkeling, I was taught by Hana. Since it was my first time swimming in the ocean, I was a bit anxious, but she led me with a float and took care of my well-being, allowing me to swim with peace of mind.

I was amazed by the clarity of the water during my first snorkeling experience! There were so many colorful fish, and I even got to see a sea turtle and take photos with it. It became a wonderful memory!

SUPはノリのいい関西弁のひろさんに教えていただきました。親切に漕ぎ方やコツを教えてくれたので慣れてくると自由に漕いだりして楽しく体験できました！
天気にも恵まれたくさん写真も撮ってくれて大満足です♫

シュノーケリングははなちゃんに教えていただきました。海で泳ぐのは初めてだったので少し不安もありましたが、うきわでリードしてくれたり体調を気にかけてくれて安心して泳ぐことができました。
初めてのシュノーケリング体験で、海の透明度にびっくりしました！色鮮やかな魚がいっぱいいて、ウミガメも見ることができ、一緒に写真を撮っていただきました。
いい思い出になりました！

This time, I participated in a tour for SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) and sea turtle snorkeling! The tour guide, Hiro, explained everything in a very friendly and easy-to-understand manner, so I was able to get on the board right away, even as a beginner! He also took a lot of photos for us, and we were blessed with great weather, which made it very enjoyable✨

During the snorkeling, I was able to see many beautiful fish, corals, and sea turtles in the stunning ocean🐢. I got to see them up close and even took pictures together! Since it was the end of January, the temperature was a bit low and it was a little chilly, but the tour was very fulfilling as we learned a lot about the ocean around Miyako Island.
