After paddling 1.5 km by sea kayak, we finally reached the entrance of the Blue Cave. We prepared for snorkeling on the rocky shore and then headed into the Blue Cave! The beautiful blue glow inside the cave is a sight you must see for yourself. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling among the coral reefs, greeting the colorful fish while playing with jellyfish. After snorkeling, we paddled back 1.5 km to the shop. The guide was very attentive and taught us many things, making it a truly enjoyable experience! It was a very satisfying tour! Thank you very much for your hospitality. Thank you!

岩場でシュノーケリングの準備をして、いざ青の洞窟へ！！！
美しい青色に輝く洞窟の中はぜひご自分の目でご覧いただきたい景色・風景です。
その後、珊瑚礁を海月と戯れながらシュノーケリングで美しい色のお魚さんたちにご挨拶♪
シュノーケリングの後は再びシーカヤックを1.5km漕いでショップまで。。。
ガイドさんがつきっきりで色々なことを教えてくださいますし、楽しいの一言です！

It was a half-day tour, but I was very satisfied to experience the wonderful nature of Iriomote Island. If I had more time, I would have liked to spend a full day there. Kayaking was also a first-time experience for me, but thanks to the guide, I got used to it quickly. The Pinaisara Falls were impressive, and I was able to soak in plenty of negative ions.

Snorkeling was amazing with great weather, and I was able to see sea turtles and fish in the clear ocean! However, it still felt a bit cold in March.
The Pumpkin Cave was enjoyable to explore by kayak, but what stood out the most was the impressive cave formations and the thorough explanations from the tour guide. I was very satisfied with the opportunity to see, hear, and learn!

By chance, we got to see a mongoose and a turtle, and we were able to touch a lot of nature, including mangrove seeds. I thought my arms and back would hurt, but surprisingly, I was fine. I participated with my 2-year-old child. I think it depends on the child's character, but we were able to participate without any issues until the end. However, I was worried about riding separately, so I had my child sit close to me at my feet.
案内人のお兄さんは優しい雰囲気で、2人の子連れでしたが最後まで楽しく体験することができました！今回はたまたま？マングースや亀を見ることができたり、マングローブの種を見たり、たくさんの自然に触れる事ができました。腕や腰が痛くなりそうと思ってましたが、案外大丈夫でした。2歳の子供と参加しました。お子様のキャラクターにもよると思いますが、問題なく最後まで参加する事ができました。ただ、離れて乗るのはやはり心配でしたので、足のところに乗せて密着して乗りました。

There were about 30 participants in the mangrove and canoe activity in Iriomote Island, and I was the only one alone. The canoeing was as expected from start to finish, except for one point. Even though it was a two-person canoe, it was faster overall than being alone. In the end, there was quite a distance to return to the shore. I paddled really hard. I might be the only one who was sweating as much as everyone else. Canoeing allowed me to have my own space, so it was enjoyable. Thank you very much.
人数全体は30名程の西表島マングローブとカヌー参加もお一人様は私だけ。カヌー始めから終わりまで一点を除き想定内。
2人で漕ぐカヌーはカップルと言えどトータルではお一人様よりスピードが出ますね。
最後、岸まで戻るにまあまあ距離ありました。なかなか一生懸命に漕ぎました。汗。それで何とか皆さんと同じぐらいで💦は私だけかも。

In mid-March in Miyako Island, I thought it would be warm and went for a snorkeling experience. However, the temperature was only 16°C, and with the strong wind, it felt even colder... It was actually warmer in the water. Despite this, our tour guide Kenji worked hard and even found a turtle for us! I've been snorkeling every year in Izu, but encountering a turtle is something special to Miyako Island! When we got out of the water, I was really happy to receive the hot water in the plastic bottle that they handed out. Thank you for this experience!

The ferry to Uehara Port was canceled, so we headed from Ohara Port instead. This is my second time on Iriomote Island, but it was the first time I experienced such cold weather in March. I was disappointed that the snorkeling at Barasu Island was changed to canyoning and canoeing, but thanks to the tour instructors Taro and Yume, we were able to create very enjoyable memories. I received a phone call the day before participating in the SUP at Kabira Bay regarding the meeting time and other details. I asked a few questions during that call, and they answered them politely, which made me feel at ease for the day of the experience.
On the day of the activity, it was quite windy, and I was told that the difficulty level of the SUP was high, but thanks to the thorough pre-lecture and the cheerful encouragement from the staff, I was able to enjoy the activity!
Additionally, during the shuttle bus ride, they shared information about Ishigaki Island, making it feel like I was on a sightseeing bus, and I was able to spend the travel time meaningfully.
I would like to participate in another tour organized by this company next time.

One disappointing aspect was that I had imagined we would be able to explore deeper into the jungle while canoeing, but in reality, we only paddled a little on a large river and landed at a small area with mangroves for a brief walk, which was a bit different from what I had envisioned.

We enjoyed a day of snorkeling at the northern reef of Taketomi Island, landing on the Phantom Island, then returning to Ishigaki Island for a free shower and a break. After lunch, we did SUP at Kabira Bay.
Everywhere had beautiful emerald green waters with high transparency, truly embodying the essence of a southern island! The snorkeling was especially great! I thought I would like to enjoy it for a longer time next time. The SUP at the quiet Kabira Bay was also refreshing. I think the guides were kind, making it a great tour.

I participated during a rainy day in mid-March. The weather forecast the day before had issued a strong wind and wave warning, but I was able to join without any issues.
In the morning, I challenged myself with mangrove stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). I was worried about the wind, but the mangrove forest acted as a windbreak, allowing me to enjoy the unique scenery of the tropics with minimal impact. I didn't feel much cold while moving my body; in fact, I felt that a bit of chill made it even more enjoyable.
In the afternoon, we were supposed to go snorkeling, but the originally booked location was canceled due to bad weather, and we participated at a different spot. They called the day before to ask if I wanted to cancel or join at another location. Although it was drizzling and windy at times, once I put on the wetsuit they provided and entered the sea, I quickly got used to the initial coldness and thereafter enjoyed the colorful tropical fish and coral reefs without feeling cold.
There were also participants who couldn't swim, but they were able to enjoy themselves by holding onto the float that the guide was pulling. The guides were very clear with their instructions and provided information about Ishigaki Island during our travels, which made me feel safe and allowed me to enjoy the experience.
If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely want to participate once more, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering joining.
3月中旬の雨天時の参加でした。
前日の天気予報では強風波浪注意報が出ていましたが無事に参加出来ました。
午前中はマングローブSUPに挑戦し、風が心配でしたがマングローブ林が防風林となってほとんど影響を受けずに南国特有の景色を楽しむことが出来ました。身体を動かすため寒さもあまり感じず、むしろ寒いぐらいの方が楽しめるように感じました。
午後はシュノーケリングでしたが、本来予約していた場所が荒天のため中止となり、別の場所での参加となりました。前日に電話連絡があり、キャンセルか別の場所での参加かを聞いてくれました。時折振りつける小雨と風の中での参加となりましたが、準備いただいたウェットスーツを着て海に入ると最初の冷たさも直ぐに慣れ、以降は寒さも感じずカラフルな熱帯魚と
サンゴ礁を堪能できました。
泳げない方も参加されて居ましたが、ガイドの引っ張るフロートに掴まって皆と同じように楽しんでおられました。
ガイドの皆さんも大きな声で注意事項もわかりやすく、移動中もアクティビティ以外の石垣島情報まで丁寧に教えてくださり、安心して楽しむことが出来ました。
もし次回来島することがあれば必ずまた参加したいと思いますし、検討中の方は是非参加することをお勧めします。

I was told to take the 8 AM ferry from Ishigaki Island, but when I arrived at the ferry terminal, I was informed that they were doing maintenance and it was uncertain if it would leave at 8. I panicked a bit, but when I called to confirm, they smoothly assured me that the 8:30 ferry would be fine.
The explanation for the canoeing was easy to understand. Since it was my third time canoeing, I was able to get on smoothly. They also provided explanations about the mangroves. We enjoyed a leisurely float, even with some canoe traffic.
Once we reached the point, we started trekking. We climbed along a bumpy path while receiving explanations about the plants and taking photos. It was hot under the blazing sun, and I was sweating a lot. But we finally arrived safely.
The waterfall was flowing down with incredible force, and the splashes felt great. With most of the other tour participants having left, it felt almost like a private experience—so luxurious!
While enjoying the magnificent waterfall, we had handmade rice balls. They were large, but the rice was delicious, and I finished them all. Thank you for the meal!
I dipped just my feet into the Takitsubo, and it was cold. Before I knew it, my sweat had dried, and I started to feel a bit chilly, so we set off. We slowly made our way back to the canoe landing.
The canoe traffic on the way back was a stark contrast to the earlier congestion, and we floated leisurely. All I could hear were the sounds of birds. Was it a crested serpent eagle? Or a peacock? The breeze and sunlight felt just right, making it very pleasant.
After that, we rode a water buffalo cart to Yufu Island. While on the cart, they played the sanshin. It was so relaxing. Go, water buffalo!
Upon arriving at Yufu Island, we leisurely toured while eating gelato. We also observed the golden pupae before heading back.
It was a very fulfilling and enjoyable day from the morning. I am extremely satisfied.
石垣島から８時のフェリーに乗ってきてと言われていましたが、当日フェリー乗り場に行くと、点検修理してるので８時に出るか分からないと言われプチパニック。電話で確認すると８時半のフェリーでも大丈夫とすんなり対応してくださいました。
カヌーの説明もわかりやすかったです。
カヌーは3度目だったのでスムーズに乗れました。マングローブの説明もしてくださいました。カヌー渋滞もありつつのんびりぷかぷか。
ポイントに付き、トレッキング開始〜。凸凹道を登り、植物の説明など受けながら写真撮影もしていただきよっこらしょ。お日様にガンガン照らされて暑。汗だくになりつつ、よっこらどっこい。無事到着〜。
すごい勢いで流れ落ちれる滝。水しぶきが気持ちいい〜。他のツアーの方も帰られほぼ貸切状態。贅沢〜〜。
壮大な滝を見ながら手作りおにぎりいただきました〜。大きかったけどお米が美味しく、ペロリと完食〜〜。ごちそうさまでした。
タキツボへは足だけチャプチャプつかりにいきました。冷たかったです〜。いつのまにか汗もひき微妙に寒く感じてきた頃合いに出発。来た道をゆっくり戻ってカヌー乗り場まで。
行きしなのカヌー渋滞が嘘のよう〜貸切状態でのんびりぷかぷか。聞こえるのは鳥の鳴き声。カンムリワシかな？クジャクかな？風も日光もいい感じでとても気持ちいい。
その後は水牛車に乗って由布島へ〜。
水牛車に乗りながら三線引いてくださいました。のんびりー。水牛さん頑張って〜。
由布島到着。ジェラート食べながらゆっくり観光〜〜。金色蛹も観察して帰路へ。
朝からとても充実した楽しい1日でした〜。大満足です。

Due to bad weather, we could only do stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) instead of snorkeling, but I was happy to be able to do at least one activity! It was my first time doing SUP, and the guidance was so thorough that I didn't have any trouble. The explanations about each spot during the SUP were very interesting, and we talked throughout the tour about recommended sightseeing spots in Ishigaki and good places to eat, which made it very enjoyable.
Although it was a tour that only covered the first half, the weather can change quickly in that area, so that couldn't be helped. The mangrove forest felt even more like a hidden gem, and since it's rare to do activities in a river as an adult, it was a valuable experience. A couple in their 50s tried canoeing for the first time. The weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing! The female guide was reliable yet friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. It was so much fun that it felt like it ended in the blink of an eye. If I had to wish for something, I would have liked a little more time to paddle freely and move around.

We were taken care of during our first family trip to Miyako Island. On the way to the meeting point, it was pouring rain. It looked cold, and I didn't expect to see the sunset, which left me feeling very disappointed. However, the instructors patiently taught us from scratch, and it felt like a lie that we had no confidence; the whole family enjoyed it. Moreover, at the moment when we could see a little bit of the sunset through the cloudy sky, they took many photos for us, making it a truly memorable day. We also experienced snorkeling on the same day, and even the kids, who were feeling unmotivated due to the cold and fatigue, said it was more fun than snorkeling. It turned out to be a very satisfying first experience with SUP for the whole family! If we have the chance to go to Miyako Island again, we would definitely like to request your services. Thank you very much!
初めての宮古島への家族旅行でお世話になりました。
集合場所へ行く途中から土砂降りの雨。寒そうだしサンセットは期待できないし、とても残念な気持ちのまま向かいました。
しかし初心者の私たちにも一から丁寧に教えてくださり、自信がなかったのが嘘のように家族全員楽しめました。
しかも曇り空の中ほんの少しだけ夕陽が見えた瞬間にたくさんの写真を撮ってくださり、本当に心に残る1日になりました。
同じ日にシュノーケリングも体験していて、寒さと疲れからやる気がなかった子どもたちもシュノーケリングよりも楽しかったと言っていて、家族全員大満足のSUP初体験となりました！
また宮古島へ行く機会があれば是非ぜひお願いしたいです。
