While we waited for the clouds to clear, they chatted with us, and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this to my acquaintances!

I inquired whether the "designated hotel pick-up" meant they would come to pick me up at my accommodation, and it turned out to be five hotels associated with Jumbo Tours. Fortunately, one of them was just a seven-minute walk from my hotel, so I decided to join the tour.

The itinerary allowed us to efficiently visit the major spots in the northern region that would be difficult to cover in a day on our own, thanks to the guide's advice. In particular, we spent about three hours at the Churaumi Aquarium and even extended our visit to the Tropical Dream Center.

Regarding COVID-19 measures, both the guide and the driver were very considerate, which made me feel quite safe.

Additionally, it was my first time touring while listening to audio guides in eight different languages. Although it may seem rude to the guide, I felt it was better for them to provide supplementary explanations of the timely audio guides rather than repeating the same information each time. Considering the number of foreign travelers, this approach felt appropriate. (Since it was during the pandemic, the GOTO program was only for Japanese people... haha)

『指定ホテル送迎可』は宿泊ホテルに迎えに来てくれるのかと問い合わせしたらジャンボツアーズ社様の関わる５つのホテルでした。幸いに、その一つが宿泊所から徒歩７分の所にありましたので、気を取り直してツアーに参加しました。

内容は、個人では１日ではなかなか回れない北部の主要スポットを、ガイドさんのアドバイスの中で効率よく観光できました。特に、『美ら海水族館』は滞在時間が約3時間！あり、熱帯ドリームセンターまで足を伸ばせました。

コロナ対策については、ガイドさんだけではなく運転手さんも必要以上に配慮されていて大変安心しました。

また、初めて８か国の音声ガイドを聞きながら観光をしましたが、ガイドさんには失礼ですが毎回毎回同じこと喋るよりは、ガイドさんにはその時に旬な音声ガイドの補足を説明していただき、外国の旅行者が多いことを考えるとこれもありと感じました。

Previously, I participated in tours to Ontake and Okinawa World, so this time I chose the Valley of Gangala. It was disappointing that we couldn't enter the back of the triangular rock at Ontake, but we were able to take our time exploring. The Valley of Gangala had other tour participants, and we were around 20 people with our guide. They provide insect repellent gel, but I still got bitten, so I think it's better to ask for extra! The highlight was the impressive banyan tree.

Honestly, I signed up for this tour looking forward to the starry sky, but on the day of the tour, it was cloudy and I was disappointed that I could hardly see any stars. However, during the drive, the jungle tour, and the mountain roads to see the night view, the tour guide shared many interesting stories, making it such a fun tour that I almost forgot about not being able to see the stars! This was my first landing on a remote island from Ishigaki Island. I was able to efficiently visit places that are difficult to reach without a car. The morning gathering is early, but as a result, we could see the quiet Sefa Utaki. Since I had elementary school children with me, I was torn between Okinawa World and the Valley of Gangala, but I'm glad we chose the latter. It was fun and felt like an adventure.

The Churaumi Aquarium was not crowded, but including the show and lunch, it felt a bit rushed in just two and a half hours, so I wished I had a little more time.

The guide's explanations were very clear, and they occasionally incorporated the feelings of the Okinawan people, which made me fall in love with Okinawa's unique culture.

I compared several companies for the tour to Churaumi and chose this one because you can board in Naha and get off at Chatan, which is also where my next accommodation is. The arrival time in Chatan was early, allowing me to enjoy my hotel life longer after the sightseeing bus tour.

美ら海水族館は空いていましたが、ショーと昼食を含めて2時間半は慌しかったので　もう少し時間が欲しかったです。

ガイドさんの説明はとてもわかりやすく、ときおり沖縄県民の思いを織り交ぜながら解説してくれて独特の文化を歩む沖縄が大好きになりました。

美ら海へ行くツアーを何社か見比べてこちらに決めたのは　那覇から乗り、次の宿泊地の北谷で降りられる事。その中でも北谷の到着時間が早い事です。こちらの観光バスのあともホテルライフを長く楽しめました。

First, we went on a mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island. It was very pleasant to leisurely explore on a sightseeing boat while listening to the guide's explanations. After that, we crossed to Yubu Island by water buffalo cart. The flowers along the road to Manta Beach were very beautiful. The tropical flowers like hibiscus and bougainvillea, along with the butterflies, were impressive. The sea beyond was also breathtaking.

Finally, we visited Taketomi Island. We chose a glass-bottom boat and bus tour. The guide was very kind and taught us how to find star sand at Kaiji Beach, and we toured the village on the island, receiving various explanations in a short amount of time. Although we didn't ride the water buffalo cart, we were able to walk nearby and take photos, which was great. Since the time to see the village was short, I would like to take a leisurely stroll next time. It was a charming and very lovely island. I was extremely satisfied to see so many different landscapes in just one day!

最初に西表島でのマングローブクルーズ。ガイドさんの説明を聞きながらのんびり遊覧船での散策は気持ちが良かったです。そのあと由布島へ水牛車で渡ります。マンタの浜までの道沿いのお花がとても綺麗でした。ハイビスカスやブーゲンビリアなど南国らしいお花、蝶々に感動。その先の海にまた感動でした。
最後に竹富島です。我々はグラスボートとバス観光を選択しました。
ガイドさんがとても良い方で、カイジ浜で星砂の見つけ方を教えて頂いたり、島内の集落を回り、短い時間の中いろいろ説明して頂きました。
水牛車には乗りませんでしたが、歩きながら近くで見て写真も撮る事が出来たので良かったです。
集落を見る時間が短かったので、次はゆっくり散策したいです。風情がありとても素敵な島でした。
１日でこれだけ色んな景色が見れて、大満足です！
