It takes over two hours to drive from Naha City to the Churaumi Aquarium by rental car, and I thought the fatigue from driving would increase, so I decided to book a tour this time. With the tour, the driver handled the driving, and they also took us to various other sightseeing spots besides Churaumi, which made it even more enjoyable. The tour guide was very attentive to the participants, which further increased my satisfaction. I would like to use this service again. Thank you for this experience.

那覇市から美ら海水族館までレンタカー借りて運転だと所要2時間以上、
運転する事による疲労が増すと思い、今回ツアーを申し込みました。
ツアーであれば、運転はドライバーがしてくれてまた、美ら海以外の
いろいろな観光スポットも連れていってくれるので、更に楽しむ事が出来ました。ツアーガイドさんも参加者に寄り添うツアーガイドをしてくださり

Thanks to our knowledgeable and attentive guide, we were able to see many sea turtles and tropical fish in the coral reefs at Shinjo Coast, and we took 125 photos! Although it was a bit crowded around the sea turtles during the high season, our guide managed the traffic, which allowed us to swim stress-free, and that was a huge help. My 8-year-old daughter was very happy and swam excitedly until the end. Additionally, after the tour, we could use the spring water at the entrance of the free parking lot (meeting and drop-off point) as much as we wanted, which was convenient for rinsing off sand and salt. Thank you very much!

新城海岸を熟知し、面倒見の良いガイドさんのおかげで、ウミガメにも珊瑚礁の熱帯魚にもたくさん会うことができ、写真も125枚撮影していただきました！
ハイシーズンでウミガメ周りは少し混んでいましたが、ガイドさんが交通整理してくださったのでストレスフリーで泳ぐことができ大変助かりました。
8歳の娘もとても喜び、最後まで興奮して泳いでおりました。
なお、ツアーの後は無料駐車場（集合・解散場所）の入り口にある湧き水を好きなだけ使えたので、砂や塩を落とすことができて便利でした。

The weather was nice, and it turned out to be a very enjoyable day! ✨
We opted for a hotel transfer plan. Since we had a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old with us, I was wondering if they would have enough energy for a full day, but then I discovered this tour and signed up, which turned out to be a great decision!
We got to experience sightseeing on Iriomote Island with water buffalo, buses, and boats, and it really felt like we had a taste of island life. The kids were smitten by the cuteness of the water buffalo and even bought a water buffalo plush toy on Yubu Island.
The time spent on Yubu Island was just right, including lunchtime. (It was too hot to explore outside, which contributed to that feeling...)

Next, I want to visit Taketomi Island and Kohama Island.

ホテル送迎有りプランでお願いしました。
2歳と4歳の子ども連れでしたので、丸一日は子どもたちが体力持つかな…？と思ってたところにこのツアーを発見して申し込み、結果大正解でした!
水牛やバスや船での西表島観光もでき、離島体験できたなという感じを味わえました。子どもたちも水牛の可愛さにメロメロで、由布島で水牛のぬいぐるみを購入しました。
由布島での時間は、お昼ご飯の時間も入れてちょうどよい感じでした。（暑すぎて外を散策できる状況でなかったのもありますが…）

次は竹富島や小浜島に訪れたいと思います。

When I asked about food places, I was recommended a convenience store... I would have liked to be introduced to a restaurant in Ishigaki Island instead. However, the person was kind and gentle, so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

食べ物屋さんの質問をしたら、コンビニを勧められ。。
せっかくなら石垣島のお店を紹介して欲しかったです。
でも、優しくて穏やかな方だったので不快な思いは一切しませんでした。

The stay was just the right length—not too long and not too short—so I was able to enjoy each point thoroughly, which was great. Since the person accompanying us was not a guide but a tour conductor, the guide was through earphones, but there were times when I couldn't hear well, possibly due to the equipment malfunctioning. However, the live commentary from the tour conductor in both English and Japanese was definitely better!

There was a little incident where people from a different bus tour mixed in, but that wasn't the tour conductor's fault (laughs). It also became a nice memory (laughs). I'm glad the schedule went as planned.

If I had to mention something disappointing, it would be that the tour participants received a coupon for a game that could be used on Kokusai Street, but by the time we headed there after the tour ended, it was past closing time, so we couldn't make it...

However, I was very satisfied with the tour itself! It was a great deal since there was no fatigue from driving, and we could enjoy things like alcohol tastings, so I'm really glad I participated. Thank you!

長過ぎず短過ぎずちょうどよい滞在時間で各ポイントでしっかり楽しめたのでよかったです。
ガイドさんではなく添乗員さんだったので、ガイドはイヤホンタイプでしたが、機械の調子が悪かったのか聞き取れないことがありました。でも英語と日本語で添乗員さんが生で話してくれた内容の方が断然よかったです！
違うバスツアーの人が紛れ込むハプニングも起こりましたが、添乗員さんは悪くないです(笑)それもいい思い出になりました(笑)時間も予定通り進んでよかったです。
残念だったことを挙げるならば、ツアー参加者が国際通りで利用できるゲーム？のクーポンを貰いましたが、解散してから向かうと閉店時間過ぎており間に合いませんでした…。
ですがツアー自体はとても満足でした！
運転疲れがなく、お酒の試飲もできるなど色々楽しめてお得なので、参加して本当によかったです。

The jungle tour was more rugged than I expected, but it was a great experience as I encountered many creatures. The guide worked hard to find them and provided detailed information about the plants and animals we discovered, which was very helpful. Many of the tour participants joined to see the starry sky, so they extended the time for stargazing. I was moved to see a sky full of stars for the first time.

ジャングルツアーは、思ったよりも険しい足元でびっくりしましたが、多くの生き物に出会えてとても良い体験でした。ガイドさんは必死に探してくださり、見つけた動植物の情報を詳しく教えてくれてとてもよかったです。
ツアー客の多くが星空を目当てに参加していたので、星空鑑賞の時間を長くとってくださりました。初めて満天の星空を見ることができて、感動しました。

The bus tour in Iriomote Island was interesting and enjoyable, as the driver shared various stories. The tour of Yubu Island took 90 minutes, including travel time on the water buffalo cart, leaving 60 minutes for sightseeing and lunch on the island. Although it’s a small island, I felt it was not enough time for me. The mangroves were viewed from a boat, so we couldn’t get too close, which felt a bit limited. Since it was my first time visiting Iriomote Island, I was satisfied with just getting a general sense of the place. The bus driver, the staff on the water buffalo cart, and the boat operator were all very entertaining and provided a lot of information.

西表島のバス観光では、運転手さんが色んなお話をしてくださり、面白かったし楽しかったです。
由布島観光は、水牛車での移動時間も入れて90分だったので、島内の観光と昼食で60分。小さな島ですが、私には時間不足でした。
マングローブは、ボートなので際まで近づかず、こんなもんかなぁという感じです。
初めての西表島観光だったので、何となくわかる感じでも十分でした。
バスの運転手さん、水牛車のスタッフの方、ボートの運転手さん、皆さまとても面白くたくさんの情報をくださりました。

I booked an 8-hour taxi tour in Okinawa. The main destination was the Churaumi Aquarium, and while I conveyed my general preferences, I left the rest to the driver since I had no familiarity with the area. The departure point was close to Naha, so even though we spent a lot of time traveling, the driver created a relaxed atmosphere in the car, making it feel like a private vehicle. Overall, it was a very satisfying taxi tour. We visited the Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Beach, American Beverage, and then International Street (where we got off), and the driver really went above and beyond. I would love to book again when I come back. Thank you very much.

8時間でお願いした沖縄タクシーツアー。
メインは美ら海水族館で、大体の希望は伝えたものの、土地勘などないためあとはおまかせ。出発が那覇に近い場所だったので、ほぼ移動時間になりながらも、車内では自家用車のようにくつろいだ雰囲気を作っていただき、結果は大満足なタクシーツアーでした。美ら海水族→古宇利ビーチ→アメリカンビバレッジ→国際通り(下車)と、かなり頑張ってくださいました。また来た時はお願いしたいです。

On our first trip to Iriomote Island, we wanted to fully enjoy the island's great nature, so we participated in a tour with Pipi as a couple.

During the mangrove SUP, it was great not only to enjoy the SUP and the surrounding scenery but also to learn in detail about the mangroves thanks to our guide's thorough explanations!

In the afternoon snorkeling at Barasu Island, we headed to two points by boat, where we were shown the wonderful underwater world! We were thrilled to see colorful fish and beautiful blue corals up close! I was also happy that the guide took commemorative photos underwater and later sent us the data!

Our tour guide, Shotaro, was knowledgeable and provided clear explanations. Although he was from another prefecture, I could really feel his fascination with Iriomote Island. After participating in this tour, I felt that I also want to become someone who helps protect the precious nature of Iriomote Island in the future!

初めての西表島旅行、しっかりと西表島の大自然を満喫したいと思い、夫婦でpipiのツアーに参加しました。
マングローブSUPでは、SUPや周りの景色を楽しむだけではなく、ガイドさんがマングローブについて丁寧にしてくださったことで詳しく知ることができたこともよかったです！！
午後のバラス島シュノーケリングでは、ボートで２カ所のポイントに向かい、そこで海の中の素敵な世界を見せてもらいました！色とりどりの魚や、青くキレイな珊瑚を生で見ることができ、とても感激しました！！ガイドさんが海の中で記念に写真を撮ってくださり、後でデータを送ってもらえたことも嬉しかったです！
今回のツアーガイドしょうたろうさんは、知識も豊富で、説明もわかりやすかったです。他県出身ということでしたが、本当に西表島に魅了されているんだなと感じました。このツアーに参加して、私も今後、西表島の貴重な自然を守っていく1人になりたいなと思いました！

When we boarded the bus, we were mistakenly given the wrong seat numbers, and the overseas guests who were supposed to sit there were confused. We felt bad for them, so after visiting the aquarium, we switched seats. On Jeju Island, it was raining heavily, and if we had just waited a little longer, it would have cleared up, which was really disappointing. In the end, the drop-off point was changed without notice, and we were dropped off in an unfamiliar place, which caused us some trouble, and we ended up walking a lot more than planned!

The tour included all the places we wanted to visit, but the locations where the bus stopped were far away, which unexpectedly took a lot of time. Given that, it felt like a waste to try to see everything in such a short time, including the time spent traveling.

バスに乗る時の席の番号を間違えて教えられ　座るはずの海外の方が困っていた。私達も居た堪れず水族館の後　乗り込んだ時に席をチェンジした。古字利島では大雨で少し待ってくれたら晴れたのに物凄く残念。最後　降ろされる所を勝手に変更され　降ろされ　知らない土地で困りましたし　予定外にかなり歩いた！
ツアーの内容は行きたい所ばかりだったが　バスの止めてある場所が遠かったりで予想外に時間かかりその時間含めての短い時間で見るのは大変もったないかとおもいます。

I participated in a mangrove canoe tour and snorkeling at the Blue Cave. My children, who are in 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 1st year of middle school, said it was the most fun they had during our trip to Ishigaki Island! My youngest is not a strong swimmer and was scared at first, but thanks to the life jacket and the guide's attentiveness and gentle encouragement, they were able to enjoy it without fear. I was also happy to receive the photos taken during the tour on the same day. Since the kids have requested it, we will definitely participate again when we travel to Ishigaki Island!

マングローブカヌーツアーと青の洞窟シュノーケリングに参加しました。
小2、小4、中1の子供達は、今回の石垣島旅行で1番楽しかった！と言ってました。
末っ子は泳ぎが苦手で、最初は怖がっていましたが、ライフジャケットを着用していたのと、ガイドさんの気配りと優しい声掛けで、怖がる事なく楽しめました。
ツアー中に撮影した写真をその日の内にいただけたのも嬉しかったです。
子供達のリクエストもあるので、また石垣島へ旅行する際には参加します！

I participated with a friend. I was a bit nervous about snorkeling, but I felt at ease because they taught us carefully from the beginning! During the drive, we got to hear about the gourmet food and recommended spots in Ishigaki Island, making it a very meaningful time overall! I highly recommend everyone to listen in! During snorkeling, I learned a lot about the ocean, which made it even more enjoyable! Since we had free time on Taketomi Island, it was great to move at our own pace! We also received photos, and overall, it was a plan with 100% satisfaction!

友達と2人で参加をしました。シュノーケリングに対して少し緊張感があったのですが、一から丁寧に教えていただいたので安心して参加が出来ました！

I participated with my 7-year-old daughter. We are a parent-child duo who can't swim, but the staff helped us by pulling us along while we held onto the floaties. Shinjo Beach was shallow and very beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles as well. The parking lot at Shinjo Beach fills up quickly, including paid spots, so it's best to arrive early.

7歳の娘と参加しました。泳げない親子ですが、浮き輪につかまっていればお兄さんが引っ張ってくれました。新城海岸は遠浅でとてもきれいでした。海亀にもたくさん出会えました。新城海岸の駐車場が有料も含めすぐいっぱいになるので早めに行った方が良いです。

This was my first time visiting Miyako Island, but due to a typhoon, I had to change my travel dates, and since I was aiming to go snorkeling, the rough seas caused a cancellation spree. I made a request on a whim, and it seems I was able to go this time.

I don't know what the usual sea is like, but it was incredibly beautiful, and thanks to our guide Matsuura's skills and support, it turned out to be a wonderful day. I saw clownfish and a giant sea turtle—so huge!

I heard that the effects of the typhoon last for more than three days, so I want to plan a revenge trip during a better month.

I really want to be taken to Ryugu-jo!

初めて宮古島来たのですが、台風で行く日にちも変更になり、また、シュノーケルを目的としていたので台風で海が荒れてキャンセルのオンパレードでした。
ダメもとでリクエストしたら今回、行けた感じです。

普段の海は知らないですが、凄く綺麗でガイドの松浦さんの対応とスキルでズバらしい1日になりました。カクレクマノミと海亀、デカすぎ‼️

台風後の影響は3日以上続くと聞いたので、タイミングのいい月にリベンジを図りたいです。


竜宮城に連れて行ってほしいなー‼️

Due to the impact of the typhoon, the weather was uncertain, so I made a reservation in the early afternoon of the day, but I received a confirmation call right away, which made me feel at ease to participate!
The night jungle is a place that cannot be accessed without a guide, and being able to observe dangerous plants and animals was a very valuable experience!
Above all, the starry sky was breathtaking! It seems that the clear sky, influenced by the typhoon, was also a good thing!
The guide worked hard to find plants and animals, and their explanations were excellent; I’m really glad I participated!

台風の影響で天候がはっきりしなかった為、当日のお昼過ぎに申し込みましたが、確認の連絡も直ぐにしていただき、安心して参加できました！
夜のジャングルはガイド無しでは行けない場所で、しかも危険な動植物を観察出来た事もとても貴重な体験でした！
何より満天の星には感動です！逆に台風の影響もあり、空が澄んでいたのも良かったみたいです！

I wanted to enjoy the sea on the last day despite the typhoon's impact, so I was looking for a fulfilling plan for the day.

I was worried about whether I could paddle well in the kayak, but I was able to enjoy it comfortably as a beginner. The mangroves were quite mystical, as I don't often get the chance to see them. Since it was the last day, I was glad to have time to buy souvenirs along the way!

During snorkeling, the waves were calm, and there were many fish, offering a view that I can't see in Osaka. I got a wonderful photo taken in the Blue Cave!

I heard that the strong winds mix the seawater, which helps maintain the coral and ecosystem of the southern sea, and after the typhoon passed, the water was clear and very beautiful.

台風の影響で最終日にでも海に入りたい！ということで一日充実できるプランを探していました。

カヤックでは、うまく漕ぐことができるか不安でしたが初心者でも安心して楽しむことができました✨
マングローブもなかなかみる機会がないので神秘的でした。最終日だったので間に、お土産も途中で買う時間があったのでよかったです！

シュノーケリングでは、波も穏やかで魚もたくさんいて大阪ではみれない景色でした。
青の洞窟でとっても素敵な一枚を撮ってもらいました！

強い風で海水をかきまぜることで南の海のサンゴや生態系を維持するという意味があるそうで、実際に台風が終わったあとは水が透き通っておりとても綺麗でした。

I chose a free walk on Taketomi Island. Since I went during a hot season, I realized the importance of staying hydrated. Even just strolling around, it's essential to keep hydrated, so there are a few places to eat and drink on the island, but make sure to carry your own drinks as well. This is especially important for those with small children!

竹富島でフリーウォークを選びました。暑い時期にいったので、こまめな水分補給の大切さを痛感しました。ぶらぶら歩いてるだけでも水分補給がかかせないので飲食のお店も数店島内にはありますが、自分で飲物しっかり持ち歩きましょう。小さいお子様連れの方々は尚更です！

I used this service on the last day of my solo trip. Perhaps because it was the week before a holiday, there were only seven participants, so we were able to enjoy the bus comfortably.

The guide's explanations were easy to understand, which was great. Although it was only half a day, we were fortunate with the weather and were able to enjoy the beautiful sea at Kabira Bay and the views from Tamatorizaki Observatory. I think I wouldn't have been able to see everything so efficiently if I had rented a car alone, so I'm glad I participated. It was also nice that we could drop off at the airport (since the outbound trip was packed and we headed from the airport to the city).

1人旅の最終日に利用させて頂きました。
連休の前の週の利用の為か参加者7人で、バスもゆったり利用させていただけました。

ガイドさんの説明がわかりやすくてよかったです。
半日ですが、お天気にもめぐまれたため川平湾のきれいな海や玉取先展望台からの景色も楽しむことができました。
1人でレンタカーだとこんなに効率よくは見て回れなかったと思いますので参加してよかったと思います。
空港でおりる事ができたのもよかったと思います。（往路はぎゅうぎゅうの満員状態で空港から街中へ向かいましたので）

I brought my own camera, but I requested to have night view photos taken. The photos turned out to be even more wonderful than I expected. The exchange of the shooting data was smooth, and I also received recommendations for great spots in Miyako Island, which was very helpful.

自分でカメラを持ってきていましたが、夜景フォトを撮影してもらいたいと思い依頼しました。
期待以上のとても素敵な写真を撮影していただきました。
撮影データのやり取りもスムーズで、宮古島のおすすめスポットなども教えていただけて参考になりました。

- Departing from Ishigaki Port to Ohara Port. The boat speeds along, but due to its structure, it doesn't sway much. If you're worried, sit near the middle at the back.

- Iriomote Island Mangrove Cruise. Since it was almost high tide, we toured through submerged forests. Although I couldn't see the mangrove forest I was hoping for, it's not every day you get to see a submerged forest up close, so that was interesting. The boat captain made a lot of negative comments like, "You usually see XX here," and "The water is murky, so you can't see well." Well, I can see that! Please don't add to the disappointment. Let's develop experiences that can only be enjoyed at high tide. I recommend sitting on the right side. Make sure to use the restroom before boarding at Ohara Port.

- Taking the bus to the water buffalo cart station. The bus driver was entertaining, and before I knew it, we arrived at the water buffalo cart station.

- Riding the water buffalo cart to Yufu Island. As mentioned, it was almost high tide, but the water buffalo did a great job pulling us, and we arrived.

- Visiting Yufu Island, lunchtime. Lunch can be eaten cold, so it's fine to explore the island first. It might be a bit early right after arrival. As you walk around the island, you'll reach the coast, but be careful where you step to avoid stepping on hermit crabs.

- From Ohara Port to Taketomi Port. After returning on the water buffalo cart, we took the bus to Ohara Port. Thank you to the driver for the enjoyable stories along the way.

- Activity – Rental Bicycles. I signed up for the rental bicycle plan, but it was a big mistake. The rental shop affiliated with this tour has no shade or restroom, just a ramshackle shed. The staff were unfriendly and just provided basic instructions. There are much better rental bicycle companies on the island, so it's better to book the "Free Walk on Taketomi Island" plan and arrange for a separate rental bicycle company. Most offer pick-up service (reservation required). Watching a mother skillfully ride a mama-chari while the father struggles to keep up is amusing. I also struggled on a bicycle for the first time in decades. Riding around, I felt satisfied as it truly felt like the original scenery of Okinawa.

Overall, this tour was enjoyable, but I definitely recommend avoiding the rental bicycle plan. Taking the extra step to book with another rental bicycle company will lead to a higher satisfaction level.

高速でぶっ飛ばすが、構造上大して揺れない。心配なら後部中央付近の座席へ

・西表島・仲間川マングローブクルーズ
ほぼ満潮だったので水没した林の遊覧でした。期待したマングローブの林を見られなかったが、日常水没した林を間近で見ることはないのでそれはそれで。
船頭さん、ネガティブ発言が多い。「ここでは普段○○が見えるんだけど」「水が濁っててよく見えないですね」等々。いゃいゃ、そんな事見れば分かりますって。ガッカリ感に追い打ちをかけないでもらいたい。もっと満潮時にしか体験できない事を開発しましょう。
座席は右側がお勧め。大原港へ着く前にトイレを済まして乗り込もう。

・バスで水牛車乗り場へ
バスの運転士さん、説明が面白く、なるほどって頷いているうちに水牛車乗り場へ。

・水牛車で由布島へ
前述の通りほぼ満潮だったのだが、水牛さんが頑張って引いてくれて到着

・由布島見学、ランチタイム
昼食は冷めてても問題ないので島を見学後でも良いでしょう。到着直後はちょっと早い。
島内を見学しながら歩いて行くと海岸に出ますが、その際足元に注意しましょう。ヤドカリさんを踏みつぶさないように。

・大原港から竹富港へ
水牛車に乗って戻り、バスで大原港へ。運転士さん、その間も楽しい話ありがとぅ。

・アクティビティ～レンタサイクル
今回レンタサイクルプランを申し込んだが。これが大失敗。このツアーの提携レンタサイクル屋は、日除けもなければトイレもない掘っ立て小屋のレンタサイクル屋。スタッフも愛想も糞もなく事務的に案内してるだけ。
島内にはもっとましなレンタサイクル業者が沢山あるので、「竹富島でフリーウォーク」プランで申し込み、別途レンタサイクル業者の申し込みをしましょう。どこも送迎付きです。（当然要予約）
島内の観光はママチャリの母親が颯爽と乗りこなしている後をお父さんがヨロヨロ付いていく様子が面白い。自分も数十年振りの自転車に四苦八苦。
自転車で周ってみるとなるほど、沖縄の原風景って感じで満足。

とまぁ、このツアーはこんな感じ。他は楽しかったがレンタサイクルプランは絶対止めたほうが良い。ひと手間かけて他のレンタサイクル業者を予約したほうが満足度は高い。

Since we participated from Naha, we departed just after 8:20 and disbanded close to 8 in the evening. I would like to reduce the number of sightseeing spots along the way and focus on the Churaumi Aquarium as the main attraction, which would be sufficient for satisfaction. A nearly 12-hour duration is tiring.

那覇から参加だったので８時20分過ぎから出発、夜も８時近くに解散。
途中の見学地、少し減らし、美ら海水族館メインのツアーで十分満足という設定にしてほしい。
12時間近い所要時間は疲れる

I didn't find Ryukyu Village necessary. It was an old facility with not much to see. If the ticket price is 2,000 yen, I would have preferred to either reduce the tour cost or allow more time to stay at Banta Cafe. While it might be worth it for foreigners, I felt it wasn't a tourist spot worth visiting without a tour, as it seemed deserted. The spots where I could feel the nature and grandeur, like Churaumi Aquarium, Manzamo, and Banta Cafe, were enough. The time spent there was too long and tiring. The bus guide was good.

琉球村はいらなかった。古い施設であまり観るものもなかった。チケット代2000円もするなら、この分ツアー代を安くするか、その時間をバンタカフェで長く滞在させて欲しかったです。外国人ならまだしもツアーでないと、さびれててわざわざ行く観光スポットでは無いと感じた。美ら海水族館や万座毛、バンタカフェの自然や雄大さを感じれるスポットだけで良かった。時間も長過ぎて疲れた。バスガイドさんは良かった。

I participated in snorkeling and canoeing.

Morning: Snorkeling
In our case, we were a group of eight, and we acted under the guidance of an instructor. I was anxious since it was my first time snorkeling, but I enjoyed it. The instructor explained about the fish each time, and we even got to see a sea turtle. We took a lot of photos as well.

Afternoon: Canoeing
Since we were with the stand-up paddleboarding group, even when we were free to move around in the canoe, another instructor accompanied us, taking photos and chatting, which made for a fun time. The main instructor was also very pleasant and attentive to our needs.

The weather was great, and I had an excellent experience throughout both the morning and afternoon.

シュノーケリングとカヌーに参加させて頂きました。

午前：シュノーケリング
私達の場合は８人が１グループで、インストラクターの方の指導の元、行動しました。
初めてのシュノーケリングで不安でしたが、楽しめました。
その都度、お魚の説明して頂き、海ガメにも会えました。写真もたくさん撮って頂きました。

午後:カヌー
サップの方と一緒に行動でしたので、カヌーで自由に行動した際にも、担当のインストラクター以外の方がついて下さり、写真撮影やおしゃべりをして頂き楽しい時間となりました。
担当のインストラクターの方も非常に感じの良い方で色々と気にかけて下さいました。

お天気も良く午前、午後を通して非常に良い体験が出来ました。

We started with observing plants and animals at night, followed by stargazing, and first stopped by a vending machine to get some drinks. The guide pointed out key spots, making it enjoyable to stroll around even in the humid weather. The coconut crab was so cute... It was great to see the little children having fun too. The guides in Iriomote are all people who love the island and its flora and fauna, so just listening to their stories is enough to enjoy the experience!

The stargazing was mainly a photo time, but unlike at the accommodation, we were able to see the beautiful Milky Way in almost complete darkness, which was breathtaking. I’m really grateful for the beautiful photos taken. Thank you very much!

夜の動植物観察→星空観測の順で、はじめに自動販売機に寄って飲み物も調達できました。
見るべきポイントをおさえてくれているので、蒸し暑い中でも飽きずに楽しく散策できます。
ヤシガニ可愛かったな…
小さなお子様たちも楽しそうでよかったです。
西表のガイドさんは島や動植物を愛してる人たちばかりなので、お話を聞いているだけで十分楽しめます！

星空観測は主に写真タイムでしたが、宿と違ってほぼ暗闇の中で綺麗な天の川を見ることができて感激でした。
写真も綺麗に撮ってもらって感謝感謝です。

In late June, my husband and I participated in a living creatures and starry sky tour. This was my second time joining, following my first participation in January. To conclude, I can recommend this tour whether it's your first time or you've participated multiple times. This time, we had two different guides from the ones we had in January, allowing us to gain a wide range of insights from all four guides.

In another tour, there was only one male guide and I was the only participant, which made me a bit hesitant to walk in the dark with someone I had just met. Therefore, having two guides from the start felt like a good system. All the guides were bright, young, and had great energy, which naturally fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants.

The creatures we could see in January and June were different, so there were surprises each time. We were able to see many famous coconut crabs. The guides asked participants whether they were more interested in living creatures or the starry sky, and since I actively expressed my interest in living creatures, I mentioned wanting to see a Taiwanese scorpion, and they helped me find one. I am very grateful for that, but I felt that there was less explanation about the starry sky this time. Therefore, even if you only have a casual interest in the stars, I think it would be beneficial to actively express your curiosity and ask questions, as the guides would likely be willing to share more information.

6月下旬に夫と2名で生き物星空ツアーに参加しました。私は今年１月に次いで2度目の参加でした。結論から申し上げると、初めての参加でも、何回参加してもおすすめできるツアーでした。今回ツアーは、1月にお世話になったガイドさんとは違うお二人のガイドさんでした。そのため、それぞれのガイドさん（4人）から幅広く知見を教えていただきました。別のツアーでは、男性のガイドさん1人、参加者は私1人ということもあり、初対面で暗闇を歩くのは少し抵抗があったので、ガイドさんが最初から2人いるのはいいシステムと感じました。ガイドさんは、皆さん明るく若くてノリがいいので、いつの間にか同じツアー参加者同士の連帯感が生まれました。1月と6月では見ることができた生き物が違うので、その都度驚きがありました。有名なヤシガニも数多く見ることができました。生き物か星空どちらに関心がありますか？とかツアー参加者に聞き、私の場合生き物に関心があることを積極的に話したため、タイワンサソリモドキをみたいと申したところ探していただき見ることができました。そのことは感謝の気持ちでいっぱいですが、今回星空に関してはご説明が少なかった印象でした。そのため星空に関して何となく興味がある程度だとしても積極的にアピールや質問した方が、ガイドさんたちも教えていただけるのではないかと思いました。

It was a full moon night, so it was too bright to see the stars, but I'm glad I joined the tour since the jungle at night is definitely not something you can explore alone. They provided detailed explanations about coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and plants, which I found very interesting. Our guide, Shotaro, had a refreshing smile and was kind, which made the other family's children warm up to him. He engaged with everyone equally, and thanks to his thoughtful care, we had a wonderful time. My family said the night tour was the most enjoyable part of our trip. Additionally, he kindly addressed my questions about things outside the tour. Thank you very much.

満月の日でしたので明るすぎて星は見えませんでしたが、夜のジャングルは絶対個人では行けないのでツアーに参加してよかったです。
ヤシガニやヤドカリ、植物のことも詳しく説明してくれて関心しきりでした。
ガイドのしょうたろうさんは、笑顔が爽やかで優しいので他の家族のお子さんが懐いていました。
みなさんに満遍なく語りかけていて、細やかな気遣のおかげで楽しい時間を過ごせました。家族は、ナイトツアーが1番楽しかったと言っています。
また、ツアー外なことでお尋ねした事にも丁寧に対応してくださいました。ありがとうございました。
