Unfortunately, it was pouring rain, and I wasn't lucky, but there's nothing I can do about that. I gave up on the starry sky and decided to join the night tour, and I was thrilled to encounter many creatures I had never seen before, like coconut crabs and habu snakes! I'm glad I participated, thinking that since I came all the way to Iriomote Island, I shouldn't cancel.

大雨だったのでラッシュガード、帽子にレインコートで参戦しました！スマホは防水ケースに入れて写真を撮りました。準備していたので雨は気にせず楽しめました。マリンシューズは貸して頂けます。

Honestly, it was quite disappointing.
At the beginning of the explanation, it was emphasized that "coconut crabs can often be seen," but in the end, we only found a small hermit crab. The latter part was mostly excuses saying "they are mostly not around this season," which contradicted the initial explanation and was a bit disappointing.
I also had a photo of the starry sky taken, but it was blurry and there was no retake. I understand that there are parts that are beyond control since it's nature, but there was hardly any explanation or creativity from the guide regarding the wildlife, stars, or plants, giving the impression of just a "night walk" rather than a tour.
Looking around, all the participants also had expressions of dissatisfaction at the end. Honestly, 5,000 yen per person feels expensive for this. It would have been better if there had been more content and a sense of professionalism from the guide.

周りを見渡すと、参加者も皆、消化不良の表情で終了。これで一人5,000円は正直高いと感じます。もう少し内容の補完やガイドさんのプロ意識を感じられたら良かったです。

I requested a starry sky photo for the first time, and the person was very friendly, allowing us to have a fun time while laughing together! Since it was a period with a large moon, the photos turned out quite bright, beautifully capturing the moonlight, and the starry sky reflected on the sea looked stunning, almost like daytime! I was hesitant to participate until the last minute because I'm not good with bugs, but I'm really glad I joined!!! Even just seeing one cockroach was exciting and different from what I'm used to in the Kanto region, and I learned a lot, which made it very interesting. I was able to see about 5 or 6 coconut crabs as well. Additionally, the starry sky beyond the jungle was amazing. It's not often you get the chance to see the Milky Way with the naked eye, so I recommend participating if you're on the fence about it. The guide, Koma-chan, was very friendly and approachable, and the stories were entertaining.

ゴキブリひとつとっても関東とは違う柄だったりとドキドキしつつも学びがあって大変面白かったです。

Of course, the starry sky was the best, and during the jungle exploration, we had a great time as a team discovering coconut crabs, scorpions, and butterflies—an enriching experience that you can't have in everyday life. Even during the shuttle to the accommodation, we encountered an M-sized coconut crab crossing the road, making it a tour full of great service until the very end!

Everything was truly amazing!!
As we ventured through the jungle searching for coconut crabs and wildlife, we were greeted by an unbelievably beautiful starry sky.
If you come to Ishigaki Island, this is an experience you absolutely must have.
It's incredible to be able to have such an experience at this price.
Also, the stories and personalities of the staff are one of the highlights of this tour.
Throughout the tour, the atmosphere was relaxed, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature without any tension.
The staff members got along well and shared information about the locations of coconut crabs, so I think there's a high chance of encountering them.

It's completely dark without light. It's scary to go without a tour. The starry sky is incredibly beautiful, and as you look at it, your eyes adjust and you start to see more and more stars. I was able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars as well. I almost gave up on seeing the coconut crab, but the guide worked hard and I was able to see it. On top of that, I also saw fireflies. I was very satisfied.

On my first trip to Iriomote Island, I participated in a night jungle and starry sky tour with my girlfriend. It just so happened to be the night of a meteor shower, and our guide took us to the beach at the peak time for viewing meteors, allowing everyone to have extra time to see them. The sky over Iriomote Island, filled with countless stars and shooting stars, was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. While we were gazing at the stars, the guide took a beautiful photo of us with her smartphone, and it even captured a meteor! It’s a treasure I will cherish for a lifetime.
During the night jungle tour, even my girlfriend, who is not fond of insects, was captivated by the interesting facts about the creatures and the guide's humor! On a clear night with not a single cloud in the sky, I was able to see the Milky Way among the stars. I was delighted that our guide, Tenten, suggested many poses and took photos in various locations. They were very friendly and great at creating a fun atmosphere, making the entire photo session enjoyable! Not only did we get couple photos, but they also happily took solo shots, which left me very satisfied. It was a wonderful experience that will become a lifelong memory.

It was a tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Ishigaki Island at night. As we walked through the forest, our guide carefully found and explained each creature, making it very easy to understand and allowing us to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. Along the way, we were able to observe creatures we don't usually see, such as scorpions, coconut crabs, and hermit crabs, which was truly a valuable experience. I was particularly surprised by the size of the coconut crab, but as I listened to the guide's explanations, it gradually started to look cute, which was quite fascinating.
The Milky Way we saw at the end was incredibly beautiful, a breathtaking sight. The starry sky was made possible by the lack of city lights on Ishigaki Island, and we were moved to see several shooting stars. The kind older brother gave us many pose suggestions and guided us with "Let's do it like this next!" which was really great! As expected from a professional, we were able to take wonderful photos with poses we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, and we were very satisfied! I was really anxious wondering if there was really a beach in such a place when we headed to the shooting location, but when we arrived and looked up at the sky, it was a starry night full of stars!! It was breathtaking! Afro, who did the shooting, suggested various poses, which really helped us since we participated without thinking much. We also had an elementary school child with us, and they were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour!

Thanks to Tenten, I had a wonderful trip to Miyako (*^^*)
I was impressed by the amazing service, and I thought their professionalism was high as they took photos until we were both satisfied! They even told us about a local izakaya loved by the locals that we couldn't find on social media♡ We tried various dishes, but the one they recommended was the most delicious!!

The service provided by staff member Sakurai was very pleasant, and I believe everyone on the tour was able to enjoy themselves both on the way there and back. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, so we couldn't see many stars, but the additional explanations were very clear and helpful. Furthermore, it was a valuable and wonderful experience to actually see a very large coconut crab.
スタッフの桜井さんの接客がとても感じが良く、バスの行きも帰りもツアーの全員が楽しく過ごすことができたと思います。あいにくの天気で星空はあまり見えませんでしたが、追加で色々と説明してくださりとてもわかりやすかったです。さらにとても大きなヤシガニを実際に見せていただいて貴重で素敵な体験になりました。
