Two years ago, my main purpose for visiting Miyako Island was to take photos of the starry sky! However, despite trying for two days, the weather was bad and I couldn't take any pictures... The person in charge was very kind and even came to greet me. When I visit again, I plan to have that same person take my photos for a two-year revenge... Unfortunately, the person in charge two years later was away on a business trip, but another staff member was also very kind and took truly amazing photos for me. It was really an excellent starry sky photo tour!!! Thank you very much!!!
２年前に宮古島に訪れた際１番の目的が星空フォトでした！
しかし、二日間粘りましたが、天気が悪く撮ることができませんでした…
ご担当された方が親切に対応してくれて、わざわざ挨拶にも来てくれました。

I participated with my fourth-grade child. We walked along a narrow path in the forest, relying on our lights. Just that alone made it feel like an adventure, and my child seemed to really enjoy it. Along the way, we all searched for living creatures. The guide passionately shared detailed information about the creatures we found. The guide's love for wildlife really came through, and we had a wonderful time.

Miyako Island has unpredictable weather that often doesn't match the forecast, but we were lucky and it was sunny! At the meeting time, there was heavy rain, and we waited in the car because we hadn't taken photos yet. We waited for just under an hour, but afterwards, we were able to take wonderful pictures. Since these are photos I couldn't have taken myself, I'm glad I asked for them. I definitely want to request this again when I visit Miyako Island next time.

I was so moved by the starry sky I saw in Miyako Island that I definitely wanted to take starry sky photos when I visited again, so I made a reservation here based on the good reviews.
On the day of the shoot, I was worried because the weather was unstable during the day, but it cleared up at night for the photography session. I received advice that the strong wind could make my dress look puffy, so I held it down with my hands and feet while shooting.
The results were more beautiful than I expected, and it became a wonderful memory of my trip. I also fell in love with Miyako Island even more! I highly recommend it for travel memories.

I wanted my 3-year-old child to experience nature, so we participated in a tour that went late into the night. I was a bit anxious since I brought another child along, but all the staff were very attentive, and my child had a truly valuable experience.
We wanted to see coconut crabs and frogs, but it had been a few days with little rain, which lowered our chances of encountering them. However, the staff worked hard to find them, and we were able to see them safely.
We also saw several habu snakes and witnessed cicadas emerging, which made my child very excited. I truly felt that coming to Ishigaki Island was a wonderful experience. I would love to participate again when my child grows up.
3歳の子供に自然の体験をさせたいと思い夜遅くまでのツアーでしたが参加させて頂きました。
もう一人子供も連れてなので不安な面もありましたが、スタッフさん皆さんが気にかけてくださりとても貴重な体験を子どもが経験できました。
ヤシガニやカエルが見たかったのですが、ここ数日雨も少なく遭遇できる確率も低いとのことでしたがスタッフのみなさんが必死に探してくれて無事に見ることができました。
他にもハブも何匹か見たりセミの羽化が見れたりと子どもも大はしゃぎ。石垣島にきてほんとによかったと思える体験ができました。

Just beyond the forest, we discovered a quiet sandy beach with no footprints! It was pitch dark, but it felt special, and I'm glad I participated in this tour. I had heard that Kaimajima has beautiful stars, but it was even more stunning than I imagined! There are almost no streetlights, and the shooting spots seem to be known only by the locals, so I think I wouldn't have been able to find them at night without their guidance. On the day of the shoot, I stayed at a nearby hotel and rode my bike to the location, and the starry sky along the way was also beautiful and amazing!
Regarding the photos, I received them the following night, and not only was the speed impressive, but seeing the finished product moved me even more! These are definitely not photos that an amateur could take with a smartphone. Since the weather can affect the schedule, whether or not the shoot goes as planned depends on luck, but I strongly recommend participating in the tour for anyone who wants to preserve memories of the starry sky! However, I felt it would have been nice to have some explanations with photos for those who might not see them. During the stargazing, there wasn't much explanation about the visible stars, just comments like "It's beautiful," so I think having a knowledgeable guide would have increased satisfaction.
The light provided was weak and not very useful, which was disappointing. I think it should be checked in advance. Since we paid nearly 5,000 yen, I hoped for a tour that offered more than just luck in spotting wildlife.

I was able to see coconut crabs, hermit crabs, stick insects, bats, land crabs, frogs, wild boars, and more.
Although I couldn't see their faces as they were sleeping and completely still, I was able to see a Ryukyu Scops Owl at a very close distance. It seemed to be a very rare case, and it became a wonderful experience.

I was thrilled to have someone take photos that I couldn't capture myself! The staff was kind, which was great. However, the meeting place is dark and narrow, so those who are not used to driving rental cars should be careful. The parking situation might vary by location, but it could be difficult during busy times. Even if the weather doesn't cooperate after several years of reservations, if it's not good on the day, there might be an opportunity to reschedule for the next day if there’s availability, so I recommend booking your reservation early in your stay. They send the data via LINE, which is very helpful. Overall, I was just so happy!

When it started to rain, they reassured us that it would clear up soon, which made me feel really at ease while taking photos. And the angel wings! It was truly moving!
