I was able to see coconut crabs, hermit crabs, stick insects, bats, land crabs, frogs, wild boars, and more.

Although I couldn't see their faces as they were sleeping and completely still, I was able to see a Ryukyu Scops Owl at a very close distance. It seemed to be a very rare case, and it became a wonderful experience.

The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, unlike anything you can see in the city, and I was able to see shooting stars.

During the tour, there were some areas with uneven footing, but the guide was very attentive and kept reminding us to be careful, so I felt safe walking.

Additionally, I enjoyed a fun time as the guide shared recommendations for local shops and talked about the area!

ヤシガニ、ヤドカリ、ナナフシ、コウモリ、オカガニ、カエル、イノシシ等見ることができました。

眠っていたのか、顔は見れず、微動だにしない状態でしたが
かなり至近距離でリュウキュウコノハズクも見ることが出来ました。
激レアなケースだったようで
とても良い体験になりました。

星空も、都会では見れないぐらい綺麗で、流れ星を見ることができました。

ツアー中は少し足場の悪いところもありましたが
ガイドのお兄さんがまめに注意喚起してくれたので安心して歩けました。

その他、おすすめのお店や、地元の話をしていただき、楽しい時間を過ごせました！

I was thrilled to have someone take photos that I couldn't capture myself! The staff was kind, which was great. However, the meeting place is dark and narrow, so those who are not used to driving rental cars should be careful. The parking situation might vary by location, but it could be difficult during busy times. Even if the weather doesn't cooperate after several years of reservations, if it's not good on the day, there might be an opportunity to reschedule for the next day if there’s availability, so I recommend booking your reservation early in your stay. They send the data via LINE, which is very helpful. Overall, I was just so happy!

自撮りでは、撮れない写真撮ってもらって感激！
スタッフさんも親切で、良かったです。
ただ、待合せ場所迄は、暗くて狭いのでレンタカーで慣れて無い人は気を付けて下さいね。
駐車場は、場所によると思うけど混雑時は、大変かも？
何年か予約しても天候に恵まれず、ダメだったけど当日駄目でも、空いてれば翌日とか出来る場合があるから、滞在の早い日にちに予約日を入れるのをオススメ。

We have been wanting to take starry sky photos for a long time, and we finally fulfilled that wish in Miyako Island for our 60th birthday celebration. Although I felt a bit embarrassed among the younger crowd, I decided to go for it and made a reservation! On the day of the shoot, we gathered at Musunun Beach. When I mentioned the occasion, they subtly included "60" with a pen light. When it started to rain, they reassured us that it would clear up soon, which made me feel really at ease while taking photos. And the angel wings! It was truly moving! They took wonderful starry sky photos not only for the younger crowd but also for people our age. I highly recommend it! The blue sky of Miyako Island, the transparent cobalt blue sea, and the starry sky are all amazing! Thank you to the staff for creating such wonderful memories!

I had previously participated in a stargazing tour in Ishigaki, where I was able to see an unbelievable number of stars, which left me deeply moved. That's why I signed up for this tour as well.

However, on the day of the tour, it was quite cloudy, and I was anxious about whether we would be able to see anything. With the full moon approaching, it illuminated the night sky so brightly that only a few stars were visible. I had hoped that as we ventured further, we might see more stars, but it was actually more disappointing than looking up at the night sky in the city, where you can see more stars. I was very disappointed. The tour guide mentioned that it was lucky we were able to operate today since it had been raining until the day before, but for those of us who were looking forward to the starry sky, it felt like we were just cruising without seeing any stars at all, which was not enjoyable at all.

I also felt that they must have known about the moon's condition, so I honestly wished they had explained the situation before we departed. The shamisen performance was not something I could call good either.

Next time, I think I will pay more attention to the timing and conditions before participating.

以前も石垣で星空を見るツアーに参加したことがありその際は信じられないほどの星を見ることが出来感動した為今回もツアーを申し込みました。
今回のツアーの当日はかなり曇りで見えるのか不安な中での出発となりましたが、満月が近い為月が煌々と夜空を照らしており、星数はまばらに見えるだけ。。奥まで進めば少しは見えるのかと期待しましたが都内で見上げる夜空の方が星が見えるんじゃないかという状況で非常にがっかりしました。前日まで雨で運航が出来なかったからでしょうか、今日運航出来たのはラッキーですと添乗員さんに言われましたが、星空を期待していたこちらとしては星空が全く見えない中ただクルージングしている状況でしたので、全然楽しくなかったです。月の状態も絶対わかっていたはずなので、出発前に状況を説明して頂きたかったというのが本音でした。
三味線もお世辞にも上手と言えませんでした。。
次回は参加する時期など参加する側もしっかり見て参加しようと思います。

However, I felt that those who joined later were quite strict about poses and didn't consider that we had small children. It's impossible to tell a fussy child, "Let's take the photo when you calm down." They just get more bored and fussy. (I gently mentioned it, but it seemed they didn't hear me.) I had a great experience with PiPi on Iriomote Island, so I participated in a night tour on Miyako Island as well. We were able to find a large coconut crab, and my son was thrilled. The guide not only showed us what to look for but also encouraged the kids to search for themselves, which seemed to spark their sense of adventure.

One thing I was a bit disappointed about was that we didn't receive any commemorative photos or pictures of the coconut crab. When we were on Iriomote Island, we had some wonderful photos taken, so I assumed we would have the same this time. I guess it varies by guide. I would have been happy to receive photos of the creatures we saw as well.

Other than that, it was a very satisfying tour. I would love to join again if the opportunity arises. By the way, the photo is from the last time on Iriomote Island. This is what we were able to see.

それ以外は大満足なツアーでした。また機会があればお願いしたいと思います。

They mentioned at the beginning that they wanted us to feel the transition from dusk to night, which we certainly did during the relaxed tour, allowing us to spend a peaceful time. Canoeing felt more like drifting down the river than actively paddling. As dusk turned to night, we could sense the presence and sounds of creatures starting to become active, and we even saw bioluminescent plankton.

I usually choose activities that involve physical movement, but this tour, which encouraged us to pay attention to things we often overlook, shifted my perspective a bit. It was a thoroughly satisfying experience.

カヌーも「漕いで移動」というよりは、川の中を流される感じ。
夕暮れから夜に変わって、活動し始める生き物の気配や鳴き声を感じたり、夜光虫も見えました。
アクティビティは体を動かすものばかりを選択してきましたが、こうした何もしないで普段気にしないことに目を配り耳を傾けるのもいいなと、価値観が少し変わった大満足のツアーでした。

Once I arrived, I was surprised to see fireflies, snakes, large crabs, and hermit crabs in their natural state! I even saw a habu curled up, which made me realize how these creatures live. I enjoyed a world that is unimaginable in everyday life! After passing through the jungle, I was moved by the ocean and the starry sky that spread out before me! Since it was a new moon, there was no moonlight, and the starry sky was incredibly beautiful! A new moon is definitely worth aiming for!

The guide was knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, which made me feel comfortable participating in the tour. On the way back, we walked through a forest where fireflies were dancing, creating a very magical atmosphere. I had an experience unique to the island that I can't see in the city. When I visit again, I would love to experience the changing of the day and the starry sky.

曇り空で、星空が一面なわけではなかったのですが、雲の間から見える星々と自然の音を聞きながら、最高の自然体験でした。

ガイドさんは博識で、何でも丁寧に教えて頂いて安心してツアーに参加することができました。
帰りは蛍が飛び交う林の中を歩いて、とても幻想的です。
街では見られない、島ならではの体験をさせて頂きました。また訪れた時には、日の移り変わりと星空を体験したいです。

I didn't realize we had arrived, and then we started the dark tour by turning the car around in a narrow passageway. I was taken down a path that made me think, "Are we really going this way?!" and right from the start, I got to see a coconut crab.

After that, we discovered various sizes of coconut crabs, and it was a continuous cycle of touching them and being surprised. We also found many other creatures. Although the starry sky was faint due to the clouds, we strolled along the beach, and honestly, it was more fun than I expected.

Additionally, the waiting time while the clouds shifted was enjoyable as I got to hear various interesting stories. If you have any requests for poses, you can shoot in your preferred style, so I think it's a good idea to consider any requests in advance. The shooting location was at a golf course, and the parking area was a bit hard to find, but if you're unsure, you can call the staff, and they will kindly guide you. Also, since the shoot took place in a completely dark area without streetlights, it was convenient to bring a flashlight or something similar.

I highly recommend this tour.

何かリクエストがあれば事前に検討しておくのもいいと思いました。
撮影場所がゴルフ場となっており
駐車場所か少し分かりにくかったのですが、
わからなければスタッフの方に電話をすれば
丁寧に教えて頂けます。
また、街灯がない真っ暗な場所で撮影をするため
懐中電灯など持って行くと便利でした。

とてもおすすめのツアーです。

I decided to join on short notice when I came to Miyako Island for work! Even though it was the same day, they provided transportation to the hotel. The guide's explanations were great, and I was able to learn more about Iriomote Island for the first time. We observed various plants and animals, including coconut crabs, habu snakes, and crabs. It was a rare experience to step into the lush forest at night. When we emerged from the forest onto the beach, I wanted to say it was a sky full of stars! However, there were a few clouds, and the moon was out, so it wasn't quite the starry sky I had imagined, but I still experienced a wonderful night sky.
