I finally made it to my long-awaited trip to Ishigaki Island! One of the things I planned was a night tour, which I booked from here! On the day of the tour, despite a few clouds in the sky, it started with the guide saying, "You rarely see a sunset like this!" and they kept the energy up with lots of conversation in the car!

When we arrived at the point and the tour began, the guide provided detailed explanations about various plants and creatures, as well as the terrain, making it really enjoyable! We spotted two coconut crabs, and even though there were some clouds, we were able to see the Milky Way at the guide's special spot!

This was the perfect start to my three-year-awaited trip to Ishigaki Island! The guide, Moepi, was amazing!! Thank you!!!

念願の石垣島旅行にやっと来れました！
色んなことを計画した中の一つにナイトツアーを選びこちらから予約しました！
当日、空に少し雲がかかる中、いきなりガイドさんの「こんな夕焼けなかなかないですよっ！」の一言から始まり、車中でもたくさん話してくれてテンションをあげてもらいました！
ポイントに着きツアーが始まると、色んな植物や生物の説明を詳しく教えてくれたり地形の説明などもおりまぜ楽しませてもらいました！ヤシガニも2匹見つかり、少し雲がかかっていた空もガイドさんのとっておきのポイントで天の川も見れました！
三年越しの石垣島旅行の最高のスタートになりました！

I only saw two coconut crabs, but thanks to the incredibly clear weather, I was able to see a sky full of stars! The Milky Way was so visible that I could even capture it on my smartphone.

ヤシガニ二匹しか見れませんでしたが、天気がめちゃめちゃ晴れてたおかげで満天の星空が見れました！天の川もスマホでも映れるくらいばっちり見えました。

The night tour was definitely the right choice!
I was able to see many creatures that I wouldn't normally encounter, such as coconut crabs, fireflies, and camel crickets.
Along the way, the guide shared many stories about Ishigaki Island. They were a wonderful guide.
The starry sky was also amazing.
This time, I participated with just my child, but the next time I come to Ishigaki Island, I want to join with the whole family.

道中も、ガイドさんが石垣島のお話などたくさんしてくれました。すごく素敵なガイドさんでした。

今回は子供と2人での参加でしたが、次に石垣島に来るときは家族みんなで参加したいです。

For our 20th wedding anniversary trip, we had a starry sky portrait taken as a keepsake. As expected from a professional photographer! They were efficient and took great photos. We are extremely satisfied with the finished pictures. We will definitely use them for our New Year's card next year (laughs). Also, since I do photography myself, I asked a few questions and they kindly and patiently taught me. I would like to request their services again when I go to Miyako Island.

今回結婚20周年の旅行で記念に星空ポートレートを撮って頂きました。流石プロのカメラマン！手際も良く上手に撮られます。出来上がった写真も凄く満足しております。来年の年賀状に絶対使います（笑）あと自分もカメラをやってるので幾つか質問したら親切丁寧に教えて頂けました。
また宮古島に行く時はお願いしたいと思いました。

There was also a stargazing tour at the hotel, but I participated in this tour instead. The area around the observation site has almost no lights, so the number of stars is completely different from what you see from the hotel. Not only can you see the Milky Way, but if you're lucky, you might also catch a shooting star. The guide's stories are very interesting as well. I highly recommend it.

ホテルで星空ツアーもあったが、こちらのツアーに参加。
見学エリアの周りには、明かりがほとんどないため、ホテルからみる空とは星の量が全く違う。天の川はもちろんのこと、運が良ければ流れ星も見えることも。ガイドさんの話もとても面白い。オススメです。

It had quite a jungle feel to it. The kids were really excited. There were plenty of insects, birds, hermit crabs, coconut crabs, snakes, and owls. Thank you very much. However, since it was a night tour, the kids started to get sleepy towards the end... and the night view wasn't that impressive either (-_-;) It was a tour that lived up to its popularity. The guide was also very attentive, which made it reassuring for families with children. It was a great help!!

I was able to feel my daughter's growth as she, who is usually timid and doesn't touch living creatures, picked up a hermit crab.
We were able to see various creatures such as coconut crabs, crabs, fireflies, four types of crabs, lizards, and owls, and the stars were incredibly beautiful, which was a wonderful experience that we can't have in our everyday lives.
Both adults and children participated with excitement and enjoyment.
It was a nice point that our guide, Mr. Kimura, was very good at storytelling and paid attention to the children.

いつもはびびりで生き物触れない娘がヤドカリを掴んでいて子どもの成長を感じることが出来ました。
生き物はヤシガニ、カニ、ホタル、カニ4種類、トカゲ、ミミズクを見ることができて、星がものすごくきれいに見えたのが普段暮らしているところではできないとてもいい体験ができました。
大人も子どももドキドキ楽しく参加できました。
ガイドの木村さんがとってもお話し上手で子どもにも気を配ってくれたのがうれしいポイントでした。

When I was abroad, I often got to see coconut crabs, but I was actually surprised to see such large coconut crabs here as well. It felt just like being overseas... (laughs) Jungle exploration is great, but for me, the starry sky was truly moving. The guide was someone who understood how to enjoy the experience from the customer's perspective, going beyond just being a regular guide. They not only showed us how to look at the sky but also taught us about the positions of the constellations and even how to take photos of the starry sky with an iPhone. I was impressed by their high level of hospitality. Thank you for everything!

海外にいた頃はよくヤシガニ観れてましたが、ここでも大きなヤシガニを見ることが出来、実は驚いてました。まるで、海外みたいだなと…（笑）ジャングル探検も良いですが、私には満点の星空がとても感動的でした。普通のガイドさん以上に、顧客目線での楽しみ方を心得てる方がガイドさんでしたので、単に空を眺めることだけではなく、星座の位置や、iPhone でも星空の撮影方法まで教えてくださり、ホスピタリティ度が高いなと感心です。色々ありがとうございました！

Although it was a same-day reservation, the guide provided detailed knowledge throughout the night safari and taught us about various plants and animals, including coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and crabs. After the rain, the stars were beautifully visible.

当日予約でしたが、ガイドの方がナイトサファリ道中詳しい知識で色々と教えてくださり、ヤシガニやヤドカリ、蟹など色々と動植物を見ることができました。雨が降った後で星も綺麗に見えました

It was a stay close to the full moon, but I checked the moonrise and moonset times and booked the tour on a day when the moon wouldn't be rising during the tour. Just as I hoped, we were able to see a stunning starry sky. I was also able to show my first-grade daughter the Milky Way for the first time. The tour guide mentioned that the starry sky today was beautiful, completely different from a few days ago when it was a full moon. Unfortunately, we couldn't spot any shooting stars, but it was great to see such a wonderful starry sky.

We found three coconut crabs. They were bright blue, round, and impressive. In addition, we saw a tree lizard, a gecko, and a rare insect called a cricket. It was fun searching together with all the tour guests. The guide was kind in his interactions with the children and taught us various things about plants, insects, and the attractions of Miyako Island. My daughter said she had a great time on our nighttime adventure.

満月に近い時期の滞在でしたが、月の出入り時間を調べてツアー時間中に月が登っていない日程で予約。狙い通り満点の星空を見ることが出来ました。一緒に参加した小学1年生の娘にも初めての天の川を見せてあげることが出来ました。ツアーガイドさんも満月だった数日前とは全然違って今日の星空は綺麗だと言っていました。流れ星は残念ながら探せずでしたが素晴らしい星空が見れてよかったです。
ヤシガニは3匹見つかりました。真っ青で丸っこくて迫力がありました。それ以外にキノボリトカゲやヤモリ、コロギスという珍しい昆虫も。ツアー客みんなで探すのも楽しかったです。
ガイドのお兄さん、子どもへの声掛けも優しく、植物や虫のこと、宮古島の名所のこともいろいろ教えてくれて、娘も夜の冒険楽しかったね、と言っていました。

I was very satisfied to see many mystical things, such as coconut crabs and coral caves, under the starry sky. Especially, the guide was a bright and wonderful person, and her clear way of speaking made it easy to understand, which made this tour even more special. They lent me rubber boots, and I was completely fine without getting bitten by bugs even in short sleeves.

Although it wasn't the best conditions due to the half moon and some clouds, when the constellations were obscured, the guide spontaneously shared stories about other constellations and introduced us to the craters on the moon that are visible because of the half moon. I had a great time! It might have been over a decade since I was this excited about the night sky. I brought my one-year-old son, and I hope to visit again when he's a bit older.

当日は半月＆少し雲が出ていたのでベストコンディションではなかったですが、星座に雲がかかってしまった時は、アドリブで他の星座のお話をしてくださったり、半月だからこそ見える月のクレーターを紹介知ってくださったりと、大変楽しむことができました！
こんなに星空に興奮したのは十数年ぶりかもしれません。1歳の息子を連れていきましたが、もう少し大きくなったら再訪したいと思います。

I was taken to the jungle by a tour guide, where I was able to see many rare creatures. In particular, I discovered three coconut crabs, which were very beautiful and impressive! It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to fully enjoy Ishigaki Island!

ツアーガイドの方しか知らない、ジャングルに連れて行っていただき、たくさんの珍しい生き物を見ることができました。特に、ヤシガニは3匹も発見でき、とても綺麗で感動しました！石垣島を満喫できる、とてもいい体験でした！

I was thrilled to see the long-awaited coconut crabs (4 of them), the rare Yaeyama scorpion, stick insects, Sakishima pond frogs, red crabs, owls, and other unusual creatures, as well as the starry sky!

念願のヤシガニ(4匹)、レアな八重山サソリ、ナナフシ、サキシマヌマガエル、アカガニ、フクロウなど珍しい生き物や満天の星空が見れて感激でした！

My first time in Ishigaki Island and my first stargazing tour; I was just overwhelmed with emotion at everything. The explanations were thorough and easy to understand, making it very educational, and the hour flew by in no time.

初めての石垣島、初めての星空ツアー、とにかく全てに感動しかありませんでした。
解説も丁寧で分かりやすくとても勉強になり、あっという間の1時間でした。

In mid-July, I traveled to Miyako Island with a friend and signed up for this tour!

As a result, we got some incredibly satisfying photos taken! When we arrived at the location, we were guided to the photographer, who asked, "Do you have any poses in mind?" I hadn't thought of anything, so I just asked them to take the lead. They provided detailed instructions, and we took about eight poses (six full-body shots from a distance and two close-ups where my face was visible).

*The photos were sent to us via email later with a URL for download.*

During the shoot, we had to stay still for about 15 seconds, which was quite challenging due to the strong wind that day…^^; However, I am very satisfied with the photos! I even bragged about them to my friend, haha.

Just a note: both my friend and I wore dresses, so even though we stood still for 15 seconds, the wind made the skirt part flutter. If you're looking for perfect photos, it might be better to wear outfits that won't be affected by the wind (the photos we received are fine and I consider that part of the memory, but for those who dislike any blurriness, it's something to keep in mind).

Another point to note is that a few days before, we received an email about a change in the meeting location (I had planned to stay at the Tokyu Resort Hotel, and the original meeting place was within walking distance, but the new location was about a 30-minute walk away). Because of this, I planned to take a taxi that day, but it was difficult to find one that evening due to the location…

When I called to inform them that I might not make it on time because I couldn't find a taxi, they kindly sent a staff member to pick us up since it was only about a five-minute drive from the Tokyu Resort Hotel (they also provided transportation after the shoot).

Currently, due to a shortage of rental cars during the pandemic, taxis in Miyako Island are busy and hard to catch, so it might be better to have reliable transportation to the meeting point…!

However, the photos are truly wonderful, and I believe the beauty of the sea and the stars is part of Miyako Island's charm, so I confidently recommend this as a memorable experience!

7月中旬に友達と宮古島に旅行に行き、
このツアーを申し込みました！

結果、とっても満足の写真を取ってもらいました！
場所に着いたら、カメラマンさんのところに案内され、「撮りたいポーズはありますか？」と聞かれましたが、何にも考えておらず、お任せでお願いしました。
細かく指示していただき、8ポーズほど取りました(6ポーズを遠目の全身、2ポーズは全身だけど、顔のわかる形でアップめ)
※写真は後日メールでURLが届き、ダウンロードする方式です。

取ってる間は、15秒ほど静止していないといけなかったのですが、風邪が強い日なのもあり割と大変でした…^^;
でも、写真は大満足です！　
友達にも自慢しました笑

ただ、注意点として私も友達もワンピースを着ていったので、15秒静止していても風でスカート部分が揺れてしまったので、
完璧な写真を求めるなら風に影響されない服装もありかなと思います(頂いた写真も、私としてはそれも思い出だし、実際気にならない程度ですが、少しでもブレるのは嫌だという方のために念のため…)

また、もう一つの注意点として、
数日前に集合場所が変更になった旨のメールが届きました(その日は東急リゾートホテルに泊まる予定で、ネット申込み時の集合場所が徒歩圏内であったで申し込んだのですが、変更後は徒歩30分ほどかかる場所でした)。
このため、当日はタクシーで行こうと考えていたのですが、当日の夜は場所が場所なだけか全然捕まらず……
急遽、タクシーが捕まらない(集合時間に間に合わないかもしれない)旨お電話したところ、東急リゾートホテルなら車で5分程度なので、ということでご厚意で急遽スタッフさんに迎えに来ていただけました(撮影終了後、送迎もしていただきました)。

現在、宮古島は、コロナ禍でレンタカー不足からのタクシーも忙しく、なかなか捕まらない状況があるため、集合場所まで足が確実な方のほうが良いかもしれません…！

ただ、写真はほんとに素敵で、海だけでなく星の綺麗さも宮古島の魅力だと思えたので、記念に自信をもっておすすめいたします！

It was a tumultuous start when the participants who were supposed to share the car didn't show up on time, but it turned into just us in the car without any companions. Thanks to my child's wishes, we spent time focusing on insects. We were amazed by the size of the coconut crab and were able to see creatures like the green tree python and the scorpion, which are not easy to encounter, creating wonderful memories for my child.

Although my child wasn't very interested in the starry sky at first, once our eyes adjusted, we could see the Milky Way and had a great time. I'm grateful to our guide.

同じ車に乗る予定の参加者が時間になっても来ないという波乱のスタートでしたが、同乗者なしで自分達だけの車となり、子供の希望で昆虫メインの時間を過ごせました。ヤシガニの大きさに驚き、キノボリトカゲやサソリモドキと、なかなか出会えない生き物を見る事ができ、子供にとっては良い思い出になりました。
子供があまり興味の無かった星空も、眼が慣れると天の川が見え、楽しい時間を過ごせました。

It was a tour that was never boring, as they shared various information about the island, including trivia and details about different plants and animals. I would like to request this tour again when I come to Ishigaki Island.

It was a wonderful location, and the kind staff created a fun atmosphere throughout the shoot, allowing the kids to stay engaged. The finished photos were lovely, and we were very satisfied. We created beautiful family memories. When we had trouble hailing a taxi after the shoot, the staff kindly offered to take us back to our accommodation, which was fantastic. Although the moon was out and we didn't have a completely starry sky this time, we were still extremely satisfied. Next time, I would love to have Subaru take our photos under a fully starry sky. If you want to capture starry sky photos in Miyako Island, I highly recommend this service!

素晴らしいロケーションで、優しいお姉さんが終始楽しい雰囲気で撮影してくださり、子供達も飽きずに撮影出来ました。仕上がりの写真も素敵で大満足。家族の思い出ができました。撮影後にタクシーが捕まらず困っていたら、宿泊先まで送ってくださったり、スタッフさん方も素晴らしかったです。今回月が出ていたので満天の星空ではなかったけど、それでも大大満足でした。次回は満天の星空でまたすばるさんに撮影していただきたいです。宮古島で星空の写真を残したいなら、こちらの業者さんを強くお薦めします！

I participated in a photo tour for the first time. Although the shoot was at 2:30 AM, the Milky Way was clearly visible, and I was constantly amazed by the beauty of the stars! During the shoot, they played music and chatted casually, making the experience enjoyable and smooth. After the shoot, they kindly shared various recommendations about Miyako Island, which helped me have a fulfilling day the next day. It was my first trip to Miyako Island, and it became the best memory.

夜中の2時半での撮影でしたが、天の川がよく見えて星の美しさに終始感動しました！
撮影時は、音楽を流しながら、気さくに話してくださり楽しくスムーズな撮影でとても良かったです。
撮影後には宮古島オススメについても色々教えていただき、親切に対応してくださって翌日も充実した1日が過ごせました。
初めての宮古島旅行でしたが、最高の思い出になりました。

On the day of the tour, there were many clouds, and it was said that it might be difficult to see the stars. However, when we arrived, we were lucky enough to have clear skies, and the night sky was filled with stars, which was wonderful. Additionally, during the Jungle Night Tour, we were able to see many creatures, including a large coconut crab, which I was personally very satisfied with.

The guide was also very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

However, since there were many families participating, it was unavoidable that small children wanted to turn on their lights while looking at the stars, which unfortunately disrupted the stargazing experience. It might be a good idea to organize tours for families only or for adults only.

当日は雲が多かったこともあり、今日は星空は難しいかもしれないという話でしたが、着いてみたら運よく晴れて夜空には星空が広がっていて、素敵でした。また、ジャングルナイトツアーということで、途中、沢山の生き物を見ることができ、大きなヤシガニも見ることができて個人的には大変満足です。

また、ガイドさんが非常にフレンドリーに案内してくれて楽しかったです。

ただ、ご家族で参加されている方が多いので仕方ないのですが、小さなお子さんが星空見るときに照明ライトを点けたがってぐずってしまい、そこだけ星空観賞の邪魔になったので残念でした。家族参加のみ、もしくは大人だけのツアーを組んでもいいかもしれないですね。

I thought that coconut crabs would be wandering around at night. According to the guide, "Coconut crabs are quite rare! It's as exciting as finding a sea turtle." During the one-hour tour, we were able to spot about 5 to 6 of them. Not only did we find coconut crabs, but we also discovered various insects, and the guide provided explanations, making it possible to do a summer vacation research project. You can borrow one flashlight per group for the tour. It's more enjoyable to have one for each person, so it's good to bring your own if you have it. Also, some areas have uneven cobblestones, so sneakers are recommended. There is only space for 3 to 4 cars at the meeting point. There is a solid parking lot about 100 meters away at the observation deck, which I think is safer for parking. We were able to see constellations and shooting stars, and they even took photos for us. It was a fun and fulfilling tour. Thank you very much.

ヤシガニって、夜になったらそこらへんをウロウロ歩いているのかと思っていました。
ガイドさんによると
「ヤシガニ結構レアです！ウミガメ見つけた時と同じくらい興奮します」と。
１時間ほどのツアーで5~6匹探せました。
ヤシガニだけでなく、いろんな虫も見つけてガイドさんが説明してくれるので、これで夏休みの自由研究ができちゃうくらい
ツアーでは懐中電灯を一組にひとつ借りられます。一人ずつ持っていたほうが楽しいので、自前のがあるといいです。
また、足元の石畳がデコボコしているところもあるので、スニーカーがオススメです。
集合場所には車が3~4台停められるスペースしかありません。100mほど離れたところに展望台のしっかりとした駐車場があり、こちらのほうが安心して停められると思います。
星座や流れ星も見られ、写真も撮ってくださり、盛りだくさんな楽しいツアーでした。

This was my first time participating. My brothers, who love insects, were very happy. However, I wouldn't recommend it on busy days since it can get late.

今回初めて参加しました。昆虫好きの兄弟なので大変喜んでましたー。ただ、遅くなるので日中が忙しい日はお勧めしません。

The shooting location was a pitch-black beach, and the starry sky was on a completely different level compared to what we could see from the hotel. My 6-year-old son kept looking up at the sky, saying that the stars were falling. The shoot was a lot of fun, and even though we had no plan for poses, we ended up with some wonderful photos. The staff were incredibly kind and shared many recommendations for places to visit in Miyako Island. My son also became a big fan of the staff member, saying afterwards that he was a nice person. Next time, I would like to request a sea turtle photo!

撮影場所は真っ暗の浜辺で、ホテルから見る星空とは桁違いの星空でした。
6歳の息子も星が落ちてくる〜と、ずっと空を見上げていました。
撮影もとても楽しくて、ポーズ等もノープランの私たちでしたが、素敵な写真が撮れました。
スタッフの方もすごく親切で、宮古島のおすすめの場所をたくさん教えてくれました。
息子もスタッフのお兄さんが大好きになって、終わった後もいい人だったね〜と言っていました。

Originally, the scheduled date was supposed to have rain or clouds, so the staff consulted about changing the date, and we finally welcomed a sunny day. We were really lucky, and on the day of the shoot, the weather was fantastic; we could see the Milky Way clearly. Since neither of us was very good at posing, the staff were kind and taught us how to pose. I was truly happy to take photos under such a beautiful starry sky on our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful starry sky I have ever seen in my life. I'm glad I entrusted everything to them; it became a lifelong memory.

元々の予定日には雨や曇りなので、スタッフの方は日付変更相談いただき、やっと晴れの日を迎えました。本当にとてもラッキーで、撮影の日はめちゃくちゃいい天気で、目も天の川をはっきり見えるぐらいでした。2人もポーズが上手くないので、スッタフの方は優しくて教えて貰いました。新婚旅行でこのような綺麗な星空✨の下で写真を撮ったのは本当に嬉しかったです。今までの人生で一番綺麗な星空でした。全てお任せしてよかったです一生の思い出になりました。

This was my second trip to Miyako Island, and this time we decided to try stargazing photography for the first time! I made a reservation for this experience.

The travel date coincided with a full moon, so I was informed in advance that the photos would be taken with moonlight, which helped me visualize what to expect.

On the day of the shoot, I had also made a reservation for dinner, and when I communicated that, they set a meeting time that allowed for plenty of flexibility.

There were some moments of waiting for the clouds to clear, but the shoot went smoothly, and I received about 15 photos, which I am very satisfied with!

At first, it wasn't a starry sky, which was a bit disappointing, but fortunately, it was the day of the supermoon, and the moon was truly beautiful! We were just silhouettes in the photos, but that was nice too. I am very pleased with the final results.

宮古島旅行は2回目ですが、今回初めて星空フォトをしてみよう！ということになり、こちらを予約させて頂きました。
旅行日は満月で、月明かりでの写真撮影になること、その場合こーゆー仕上がりになりますよ。と事前に確認して頂き、イメージがしやすかったです(*^^*)
撮影の当日は夜ご飯の予約もしていた為、その時間も伝えたところ、待ち合わせもゆとりのある時間で設定していただきました。
撮影は雲待ちとかはありましたがスムーズに終わり、写真も15枚程送って下さり、大変満足しています(≧∇≦*)！！

最初は星空ではなかったので、少し残念な気持ちもありましたが、タイミングよくスーパームーンの日だったのもあり、月が本当に綺麗でした！
自分たちはシルエットのみ。という感じでしたが、それもまた良い♪
仕上がりは大変満足しています(^-^)

I participated in a photo tour for the first time. The first day was canceled due to rain, but I was able to reschedule for the second day, which was open. I was worried about the weather on the second day as well, but it cleared up at night with hardly any clouds, and I was able to take some really wonderful photos! The Milky Way was clearly visible, and I was so moved that I can't put it into words! During the shoot, they played music and suggested poses, making the experience enjoyable. After the shoot, they also shared information about Miyako Island, and I am grateful for their kind and attentive service until the end. It was my first trip to Miyako Island, and I made the best memories!

初めてフォトツアーに参加しました。
1日目は雨で中止になってしまいましたが、2日目が空いていたので変更していただきました。
2日目も変わりやすい天気だったので心配でしたが、夜は晴れて雲もほとんどなくとても素敵な写真を撮っていただきました☆★
天の川もはっきり見えて言葉にできないほど感動しました！
撮影中は音楽を流してくださったり、ポーズの提案もしてくださり楽しく撮影することができました(^ ^)
撮影後には宮古島情報も教えていただき、最後まで親切に丁寧に対応してくださって感謝しています。
初めての宮古島旅行でしたが、最高の思い出ができました！

The staff provided excellent explanations, and I was able to participate enjoyably. Each person is lent a reclining chair, allowing for relaxation while enjoying the starry sky. If you visit Ishigaki Island, I definitely recommend stargazing.

スタッフの方の説明が上手で、楽しんで参加することができました。
1人一脚、リクライニングの椅子を貸してもらえるので、リラックスして、星空を楽しむことができました。
石垣島に行ったら、ぜひ星空を観ることをおすすめします。
