I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and snorkeling. We traveled to the entrance of the cave by canoe, and the cave was very mysterious. It seems that the Pumpkin Cave is set to become a cultural heritage site, so if you're interested, it might be better to go sooner rather than later!

Snorkeling was enjoyable with a life jacket and fins, making it easy to explore. There were many fish in the coral reef, and I was lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle.

Tsubasa, who led the tour, had a wonderful smile and explained a lot about marine life! Thank you!

鍾乳洞の入口まではカヌーで移動しました、鍾乳洞はとても神秘的でした。パンプキン鍾乳洞は文化遺産になるそうで、そうなると入れなくなるそうなので気になる方は早めの方がいいかもしれません！

I participated in a mangrove tour in the morning by canoe. Since the mangroves were on land during low tide, the afternoon when the mangrove forest is submerged in water might be better. The tour was enjoyable as they provided detailed information about the mangroves and the creatures living there! I was excited to experience the unique nature of Iriomote Island, where I encountered large eel-like creatures in the mangroves. On Yufu Island, where I rode a water buffalo, I also met a turtle. It seems that it's rare, but it's not often you come across a turtle while walking around in daily life, so it was interesting. Everything was new to me, but I felt reassured as the guide kindly taught me various things. It became a wonderful memory!

Continuing from the previous day, I participated in PiPi's tour. In the morning, we visited Yufujima, and in the afternoon, we had a canoe mangrove tour. I was happy to ride the water buffalo cart at Yufujima, but I wish we had a bit more free time… In the afternoon, I joined Moo's team for canoeing. It was a lot of fun, starting with the explanation of how to operate the canoe, followed by insights about the mangroves and information about the island. "Moo's team never gives up!" It connects to our outlook on life, doesn't it?! I think it was a great opportunity for my second son to think about nature. On the way back and the next day, we checked on "Grandpa's water buffalo" again (laughs). We also enjoyed mango juice. This might be the last trip for us as a family, and we had many experiences that became wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

Although we couldn't go sea kayaking due to the weather on the day, we were able to participate in snorkeling! The guide was very thorough and explained everything clearly, even going out of their way to take photos for us! We also searched for sea turtles until the very last moment and were fortunate enough to see them. Thank you for such a valuable experience! The instructor was very polite and taught us how to ride, so I was able to participate without falling at all! They also took plenty of photos before and during our time on the SUP, so you can feel safe not bringing your smartphone! They contacted us the day before with the meeting time and place (this time it was at the Imugya Marine Garden free parking lot), so the location might change depending on the season! There are no changing rooms, so please wear your swimsuit when you arrive. Also, there are no showers, so if you fall in, it can be quite a hassle, but generally, the waves are calm in the morning, so it seems that most people don't fall! I brought a water bottle with me, so I rinsed my feet before getting in the car!

I joined this tour because I wanted to see sea turtles. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any sea turtles on the day of the tour... However, our guide, Chitose, introduced us to many beautiful fish and coral reefs, and she also provided a lot of support for my parents, who are not very good swimmers, and my scared elementary school child, allowing us to enjoy the experience.

The Pumpkin Cave was much larger than I expected, and I was surprised by the big pumpkin. Both my child and I were shocked to think we had to climb it, but my child said it was great that we gathered the courage to try climbing it.

It was my first time in Miyako Island, and there are still many activities I want to participate in, so I definitely want to see sea turtles next time! I will come back!

I had a great experience with canoeing in Iriomote Island and the water buffalo in Yufu Island, thanks to a good guide. 西表島のカヌー、由布島の水牛、良いガイドで楽しい体験できました。

We took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Uehara Port on Iriomote Island, where we gathered. Our local guide, Ren-chan, took eight of us in a microbus to the canoe launch site while providing explanations about the area.

There were six people in canoes and two in kayaks, and we received safety instructions from Ren-chan before heading down a river close to the mangrove-filled sea. Each person's speed and direction varied due to different paddling techniques, and the kayak members struggled as they fell out, but Ren-chan stayed with us until we safely returned.

The trip down was easy as we rode the current, but the return was challenging as we had to paddle against it. After returning to Uehara Port, we had free time for lunch. Although we were introduced to several eateries, some were closed for the holiday or too crowded, so we ended up buying bento at a supermarket.

In the afternoon, we had a tour to cross to Yubu Island by water buffalo. Our guide, Macchan, provided enjoyable explanations. We crossed to the island pulled by a water buffalo, and he humorously described the buffalo's characteristics (the one we rode was an elderly buffalo named Yuto) and personality. The water buffalo guide played an instrument and sang folk songs, making for a fun time.

We spent about an hour on Yubu Island, which had beautiful scenery, souvenir shops, a butterfly viewing facility, and unique plants, all of which were quite nice. The only disappointment was that I had expected to paddle through the mangrove forest, but instead, we navigated along the edge of a wide river where many mangroves grew. I was looking forward to that, so it was a bit disappointing, but everything else was very good.

石垣島からフェリーで西表島の上原港に渡り、そこで集合。
現地のガイド（れんちゃん）が8名を載せてマイクロバスで、カヌー乗り場まで
現地の説明がてら連れて行ってくれました。
カヌーが６名、カヤック２名をれんちゃんから注意事項の説明を受け、一緒にマングローブの生える海に近い川をくだりました。漕ぎ方によりそれぞれのす速度や方向がまちまちで、カヤックのメンバーはカヤックから落ちて苦労していましたが、れんちゃんが最後まで連れ添って無事に戻ってこられました。
行きは流れに乗って楽でしたが、帰りは流れに逆流するので大変でした。
上原港に戻って、お昼ご飯、フリーでしたので、いくつか食堂を紹介してもらえましたが、たまたまお盆でお休みだったり、混んでいたりして、結局スパーでお弁当を買って頂きました。　午後は由布島に水牛でわたりるツアーでした。ガイドのまっちゃんも楽しい説明でよかったです。水牛に引っ張ってもらって島にわたりましたが、水牛の特徴（たまたま乗った牛がゆうとという高齢の牛）や性格など面白おかしく説明してもらい、水牛の先導？さんが楽器を弾きながら民謡を歌って楽しい時間でした。由布島も１時間くらいありましたが、景色もよく　お土産屋さん、蝶を見られる施設（蝶園）、独特な植物、などなかなか良かったです。
一つだけ残念なのはマングローブの森の中をカヌーで進むと思っていたのですが、広い川の端にマングローブが沢山生えているところを進むという点でした。そこを期待していたので、少し残念ですが、それ以外は大変良かったです。

We participated on August 21 with two adults and one 7-year-old child. Initially, we signed up for the Pumpkin Hall Cave and snorkeling tour, but due to bad weather, the Pumpkin Cave was canceled, and we switched to SUP instead.

Although we originally had a reservation for Monday, we had to change it to Tuesday because of the typhoon, and then we were told that snorkeling might be difficult, so we rescheduled for Wednesday. Thank you for accommodating us despite the repeated changes!

SUP was no problem for our 7-year-old as they could sit while paddling, and the child enjoyed it. After that, we were excited for snorkeling and were thrilled to see the sea turtles, which made our child very happy! There were quite a few people, causing some sand to stir up and make the water murky, but that’s to be expected in shallow areas. However, our child was really happy, so we were satisfied.

During snorkeling, I noticed that my child had lost a fin, but our guide, Mr. Goto, was very kind and helped us look for it without any complaints. Thank you! The staff, including Mr. Goto, were all very friendly, and I’m glad we signed up for the tour.

8/21に大人2名と7歳児1名で参加しました。
最初はパンプキンホール鍾乳洞とシュノーケリングのツアーに申し込みましたが、天候が悪くパンプキン鍾乳洞は中止になり、代わりにSUPに変更。

本当は月曜日に予約していたものの台風の影響で、火曜日に変更、ただシュノーケリングは難しいかもと言われ、さらに水曜日に変更いただきました。
度重なる変更にも快く調整していただきありがとうございました！

SUPは7歳でも座りながらであればまったく問題なく、子供も楽しんでいました。
その後、楽しみにしていたシュノーケリング、お目当てのウミガメにも会えて子供も大喜びでした！若干人が集まり過ぎて砂が舞ってしまい濁っていましたが、浅瀬だとしょうがないですね。。ただ子供もすごい喜んでいたので満足でした。

シュノーケリングの時に気付いたら子供がフィンをなくしてしまったのですが、ガイドの後藤さん（りくさん）が嫌な顔せず親切に対応、探していただきありがとうございました！
ガイドの後藤さん含め、とても親しみやすいスタッフばかりでツアーに申し込んで良かったです。

We participated as a group of four women! We split into canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, but we were allowed to switch halfway, so we got to experience both. Even as beginners, we were able to progress without falling!

During the experience and in the car, we heard a lot about mangroves and environmental creatures, which sparked our interest!

Our guide, Ren-chan, was cheerful and friendly, making it a fun experience!

After the activity, it was great that we could wash off the dirt in a simple shower room and change clothes.

I went canoeing at Kabira Bay. It was a bit cloudy, but I was able to take a lot of photos. They turned out very beautiful, and I'm satisfied. I chose the full-day course, but we returned near the hotel in the morning and then took a bus to do the same course again in the afternoon, so it might be nice to have different optional activities for the morning and afternoon. It felt like a bit of a time loss there. It would have been better if we had some time to stroll around Kabira Bay during lunch.

I was also anxious about snorkeling, but I received solid support and was able to swim happily. I had misunderstood and thought we would be snorkeling inside the Blue Cave.

川平湾でカヌーをしました少し曇りもありましたが沢山写真を撮っていただきました。画像にするととても綺麗で満足です。1日コースにしたのですが、午前に一旦ホテル近くまで戻ってきて、また昼から同じコースをバスで行くため、午前と午後別のオプショナルでもいい感じです。そこが少し時間のロスのような。川平湾で昼散策する時間があったらよりよかったかも。
シュノーケルも不安でしたがしっかりサポートしてもらい楽しく泳ぐことができました。青の洞窟のなかをシュノーケルするのかと勘違いしてました。

I participated with the Ren-chan team and the Taro team. It was disappointing that we couldn't go to the waterfall due to the weather, but the mangrove tour was even more enjoyable than I imagined, and it became a wonderful memory. Ren-chan taught me a lot about Iriomote Island and mangrove knowledge! During our lunch break, I tried the recommended dishes from the cafeteria that Ren-chan suggested! I was able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling! It was safe to participate even with children, and the whole family had a great time. The kids were really excited to see clownfish and squid! In the end, we even encountered a sea turtle, which made for truly wonderful memories.

I went to Iriomote Island for my honeymoon! It was a very enjoyable trip that felt extraordinary. On the tour, I experienced a water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island and a canoe experience where I could feel the great outdoors. The weather was a mix of rain and sunshine, but luckily, the rain stopped at just the right times during both the Yubu Island visit and the canoe experience, and the sun occasionally showed its face, bringing us good luck. On this day, our team of 10, including families and couples, aimed for the Pumpkin Cave! Under Captain Tetsu's guidance, we first got on kayaks to head to the cave's entrance! (Don't worry, there are thorough instructions on paddling and safety before we head out to sea.)

The entrance to the Pumpkin Cave is actually in the ocean! So, the timing to enter is only during the perfect moment when the tide is low enough but the kayak doesn't run aground! This really heightens the sense of adventure.

What lies beyond this point is for you to enjoy! An experience that exceeds your imagination awaits you! You can fully experience the unique terrain of Miyako Island! I especially recommend it for those who love nature activities.

I found a tour that could be reserved the night before and booked this set, but I received a call in the morning of the day, informing me that the Pumpkin Cave was fully booked, so it became a tour only for sea turtle snorkeling. We gathered at the parking lot of Shigira Beach. After hearing the precautions, we put on our gear and headed to the sea. As soon as we entered the water, we were able to see fish, which raised our expectations, but unfortunately, we did not encounter any sea turtles. It was disappointing, but we were able to take photos with clownfish and silhouettes, creating great memories for the family. The staff provided thorough guidance, making it feel safe for beginners to participate.

As a follow-up, I really wanted to see a sea turtle, so the next morning, I tried again with a life jacket and underwater goggles, and I was able to see a sea turtle! I think I was able to meet a sea turtle because they shared some tips with me, so I’m glad I participated in the tour. They also quickly processed a refund for the change in the tour.

前日夜予約できるツアーを探してこちらのセットを予約しましたが、当日朝連絡があり、パンプキン鍾乳洞が満員とのことでウミガメシュノーケリングのみのツアーとなりました。
シギラビーチの駐車場にて集合。
注意事項をきき、グッズ身につけて海へ。
海に入るとすぐに魚をみることができ、期待大でしたが、ウミガメには遭遇できませんでした‥。
残念でしたが、クマノミとの写真やシルエットの写真など撮っていただき、家族のいい思い出になりました。
丁寧に教えていただき、初心者でも安心して参加できると思います。

追記、
どうしてもウミガメを見たかったので、翌日の朝ライフジャケットと水中メガネでリベンジしてみたところ、ウミガメをみることができました！
ポイントなど教えてもらったのでウミガメに会うことができたと思うので、ツアーに参加してよかったと思います。
ツアーの変更の返金もすぐしてくれました。

Our guide was Iigo-san, and he was a great guide. He speaks some English and did a great job explaining things during the tour. He was also knowledgeable about the local plants and wildlife.

The kayak tour to the pumpkin cave was great! It was cool to be able to go inside the cave and experience something you don't see every day.

The snorkeling was fine; we were very lucky to see a sea turtle. However, this was probably an activity you can plan on your own if you have the equipment, as this was just happening at a public beach. If you don't want to have to go through the hassle of organizing it yourself, then it will be good to book the snorkeling.

In the morning, I experienced snorkeling around Yufushima, and in the afternoon, around Barasu Island. I signed up because I wanted to make the most of my day.

During the free lunch break, thanks to the prior explanation of nearby shops, I was able to have lunch smoothly. The timing was just right for a post-meal coffee and a quick stop at the nearest supermarket.

In the afternoon snorkeling session, the staff were kind and friendly, making it easy to participate with peace of mind. They also took a lot of photos for us, so we didn't have to worry about taking our own and could fully enjoy the activities! The colorful coral reefs were breathtaking and truly moving, like a dragon palace.

The return shuttle service was excellent, and I would definitely like to use this service again. Thank you for a fulfilling time! ♪

午前由布島、午後バラス島周辺のシュノーケリングを体験。1日効率よく遊びたかったので申し込みました。
フリーのお昼休憩では、事前に周辺店舗の説明をしてくれたお陰でスムーズにランチすることができました。食後のコーヒーや最寄りのスーパーへ立ち寄るのにちょうどの時間配分でした。
午後のシュノーケリングでは、スタッフの皆様が親切かつフレンドリーで安心して参加することができます。
また写真をたくさん撮ってくださったので、自分達で撮る手間もなく、アクティビティを全力で楽しめました！竜宮城のようにカラフルな珊瑚礁は圧巻で本当に感動します。
帰りの送迎まで至れり尽せりで、また利用したいと思います。
充実した時間をありがとうございました♪
