Enjoy an easy yet authentic nature experience on an island called Japan's last unexplored region. Enjoy watching the unique subtropical plants that you don't usually see.
Activity Ends, Move to Lunch Location
The staff will take you to an area where you can eat lunch freely. Let's eat a lot and recharge our energy. After lunch, head to the starting point for the afternoon.
You will cruise around Barasu Island, a miraculous island made of coral fragments. The contrast between the blue sea and the white island is spectacular. It takes about 10 minutes by boat from Iriomote Island.
Arrival around Barasu Island
An uninhabited island between Iriomote Island and Hatoma Island. It is a remote island that does not exist on maps, and was formed by the accumulation of coral shells due to the influence of ocean currents. Beautiful coral spreads out with outstanding transparency, and many fish greet you.
Enjoy snorkeling in an ocean with excellent clarity and lots of tropical fish.

Let’s go to Barasu Island, the “miracle island” made of coral fragments! The contrast between the blue sea and the white island is truly breathtaking.
Barasu Island is a tiny uninhabited island between Iriomote and Hatoma, just 10 minutes by boat. Formed by coral fragments, it offers crystal-clear waters, colorful coral, and plenty of tropical fish.
Once back at the port, enjoy a lunch break on your own! We’ll introduce some recommended local spots—eat well and recharge your energy!
Break over, head to Yubu Island
Arrive at the Water Buffalo Cart Station!
Off to Yubu Island! Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way.
Yubu Island is a small island in Okinawa’s Yaeyama Islands, accessible by crossing shallow waters on a water buffalo cart. Though small, it offers unique plants, animals, restaurants, and souvenir shops, making it a charming spot for all visitors.
