The view of Kabira Bay was even more stunning than in the photos, and our guide skillfully shared the history of Ishigaki Island and famous landmarks while singing joyfully. Their beautiful singing almost brought me to tears. The driver was also very reassuring and provided excellent service. The lunch was delicious and healthy as well. The tour itself was satisfactory with polite service from the ferry terminal, but the water buffalo cart, which I was looking forward to, was disappointing. Perhaps because our group was the largest (7 people), we were assigned to go last, even though we weren't the last to arrive. Additionally, since half of us, including my husband, were British, the guide hardly paid us any attention, and being at the back meant we could barely hear anything, which was quite disappointing.

I was surprised by the size. The aquarium was nice, but the flowers in the botanical garden were beautiful, and I was surrounded by a lovely fragrance. I think I might have needed a little more time.
