On the last day of my trip to Okinawa, I participated in a tour of the southern tourist spots, which are difficult to access without a rental car. It was convenient to choose Naha Airport as the drop-off point on the way back.

Both the Sefa Utaki and the Valley of Gangala offered a natural experience that you can't have in Naha city, and they are definitely worth visiting!

One thing to note is that both places require a long walking distance, and depending on the season, you need to prepare for heat and insects.

Additionally, I personally felt that the tour fee for the Valley of Gangala is free for elementary school students accompanied by a guardian, so I wish the price for elementary school students on this bus tour was a bit cheaper.

レンタカー無しの沖縄旅行最終日に参加したので、車でないと行きにくい南部観光地巡り、また帰りの降車地を那覇空港が選べるので楽ちんでした。
斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も、那覇市内では体験出来ない自然に感動、行く価値は有ります!!
注意点は両方とも歩く距離が長く、時期により暑さ、虫対策が必要なことです。

あと個人的に感じたのが、ガンガラーの谷のツアー料金は保護者同伴の小学生は無料なので、このバスツアーの小学生料金がもう少し安かったら良いのにな、と思いました。

In Iriomote Island, we rode a boat along the mangroves and received detailed explanations about the plants and animals. The water buffalo barn on Yubu Island felt like being in a movie, which was truly moving. After getting off the ferry in Taketomi Island, I was able to find a rental bicycle for the day and enjoyed cycling around the island, soaking in the local atmosphere. I chose to use this service because there were many reviews, and the Panta Cafe and Churaumi Aquarium looked appealing. The experience was as good as others have described. It happened to be the day when the dolphin show at the Okichan Theater resumed.

However, despite the 8:20 AM meeting time, there was no staff in front of Nippon Rent-A-Car, and I had to confirm with the inbound tour staff nearby several times. In the end, there was staff near the bus, and everyone was confused. As a Japanese person, I would prefer the staff to be at the designated location for check-in.

朝、8:20集合なのに、ニッポンレンタカー前にスタッフはおらず、近くにいたインバウンドツアーのスタッフに数回確認しました。結局、バスの近くにスタッフがいて、皆さん戸惑っていました。日本人としては、記載された場所にいて受付して欲しいです。

There was a shuttle service from the hotel, and we had free time with nice weather, allowing us to fully enjoy nature. However, there was no explanation about the boarding location on Taketomi Island, and the disembarkation point was different from the boarding point, which led to a mad dash before departure. I would appreciate clear guidance when the disembarkation and boarding locations change.

The mangrove tour allows you to feel the power and vitality of nature. Crossing to Yubu Island by water buffalo is a relaxing and wonderful experience. The water buffalo are hard workers. Taketomi Island gave me a sense of old Okinawa. It was the best tour.

マングローブ遊覧は大自然の力強さと生命力を感じられる。由布島へ水牛で渡るのはゆったりとゆっくりと最高の気分でです。水牛は働き者ですね。竹富島は昔の沖縄が感じられた。最高のツアーでした。
