It was a very precious memory of Ishigaki Island to have the opportunity to see the sunset and the landscape leading to the sea from the river mouth, which is not something you get to experience often. I'm grateful to our bright and charming guide, Makoto, for taking so many photos! The shuttle service from the hotel to the site was also greatly appreciated since we didn't have a car. If I get the chance, I would love to try the night tour to see the stars next time! Thank you very much! ^ - ^

For those who do not participate in activities like snorkeling, I recommend the glass-bottom boat tour in Taketomi Island. However, the water buffalo cart tours are crowded and have very long wait times, which leaves almost no time for free exploration of Taketomi Island afterward. Therefore, I suggest opting for cycling instead of the water buffalo cart course.

This is my first time in Ishigaki Island. This time, since I didn't have much time, I joined this tour to efficiently visit the surrounding islands. Whether boarding the boat or the bus, there was very little waiting time, and everything went smoothly. The full day experience is quite interesting, though most of the cases are only self-guided and if you are not Japanese, there is limited information learned since most of the guided (on the river boat and the bus) are conducted in Japanese. The whole trip is packed with different experiences including a boat trip, water buffalo truck, authentic little towns, beautiful beaches, etc., which were quite satisfactory. The bento for lunch was well prepared as well. Fortunately, I was in a showroom about Taketomi Island with many great displays of local folk items, culture, and a short movie theatre with air conditioning that allowed me to spend the time during the rain learning many things about Taketomi culture. Also, there is English and Chinese explanation as well.
The full day experience is quite interesting though most of the cases are only self-guided and if you are not Japanese, there is limited information learnt since most of the guided (on the river boat and the bus) are conducted in Japanese. The guided device for foreigners had very limited information compared with the length of what the guides said. My guided device seems malfuntioned as it is not working probably in the middle of the trip, which really lessened the information I could learn. Haven't said that, the whole trip is packed with difference experiences with boat trip, water buffalo truck, authentic little towns, beautiful beaches etc which were quite satisfactory. The bento in lunch was well prepared as well. There was a huge rain but fortunately I was in a showroom about the Taketomi Island with many great displays of local folk items, culture, and short movie theatre with air conditioned that made me spend the time during the rain to learn many things about the Taketomi Culture. Also, there is English and Chinese explanation as well.

I participated with an elementary school student. Since we didn't have a car, we opted for a bus tour, and along the way, the guide shared a lot of useful knowledge about Okinawa, which was very educational.
At Sefa Utaki, we had some extra time, so we enjoyed the stunning views at Chinen Misaki. In the Gyokusendo Cave, they provided us with insect repellent spray and let us carry a thermos of salted barley tea, allowing us to explore leisurely for about an hour. It was cold and very refreshing.
We arrived at the airport around 1 PM, and we were able to spend a very meaningful morning.

I used this service for a trip with two female friends. Neither of us had a driver's license, and we had a pretty clear idea of the places we wanted to visit, so we decided to use a private taxi for flexibility.
The driver was very kind and listened to our requests while suggesting various plans and destinations. He skillfully managed to show us places we didn't know about and even took photos for us, which we really appreciated. Inside the car, he chatted with us at just the right amount, making it a comfortable experience.

I participated with my grandchild, so we chose a course that included Pineapple Park and the Churaumi Aquarium. At Pineapple Park, we were thrilled by the parade of our favorite dinosaurs, and at the Churaumi Aquarium, we were amazed by the giant whale sharks and rays! I participated because it was appealing to efficiently visit the main tourist spots. During the bus ride, I was able to hear a wide range of interesting stories from the guide about the history, legends, culture, and industries of Ishigaki Island, as well as trendy spots and souvenir information that would be difficult to reach on my own. Towards the end, the guide's singing of Yaeyama folk songs, including "Tears Are Falling," was also wonderful. I was moved.

From the airport arrival to hotel check-in, I had some time, so rather than spending it aimlessly, I decided to make the most of it. Since it was my first time in Miyako, I asked for a "recommended" course. The driver was very calm and shared great stories about Miyako Island, making the time fly by. The places I was taken to were all wonderful, and at one of the beaches, they even allowed my children to play in the sea, which made for a very satisfying first day for our family. I plan to request this service again the next time I visit Miyako Island.

The weather was nice, but the heat was a struggle. Given my age, the schedule was tough. The children were happy. We had the experience of mangroves, water buffalo, and the traditional streets of Taketomi Island. We had already visited major tourist spots on other bus tours, but we had never been to the underwater road around Uruma City or the islands beyond it, so we wanted to go. As two women, we felt a bit anxious, but our driver was a female who was very considerate, and we felt safe leaving everything to her. She talked with us a lot, and during our tour of Kamino Island, she took us to the places we wanted to visit and even suggested some wonderful spots to stop by. The weather was great, the sea was beautiful, and there were very few people around—it was truly the best experience.

It was hot outside, but the limestone cave was a bit cool. I was able to enjoy some cold barley tea, and although I had water that had reached room temperature, it was a relief. I was able to visit three islands, and it was a very meaningful time. The mangroves, water buffalo carts, and the streets of Taketomi Island were amazing. The rental bicycles were great. The ferry from Ishigaki Island is very rocky, so those who are prone to motion sickness definitely need to take anti-nausea medication! After arriving at Taketomi Island, I took a bus to the city center, but it was unfortunate that the departure was delayed because we were waiting for the next ferry. This reduced our sightseeing time on Taketomi Island.
3つの島をまわることが出来て、とても有意義な時間でした。
