The mangrove tour at Nakama River was excellent. The guide's explanations were easy to understand. I became interested in the types of mangroves and their fascinating characteristics. I wanted to see a bit more of Iriomote Island, but the water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island, lunch, and the stroll through the botanical garden were all packed with activities. Even after all that, we returned to the hotel before 3 PM, and I was able to spend the rest of the time meaningfully. I'll save the visit to Taketomi for next time.

My impression after finishing the tour is that it would be difficult to cover such a course in one day on my own. I didn't have to drive, I could listen to the guide's announcements at various points, there were appropriate bathroom breaks, I could eat a delicious lunch without needing a reservation, and I could sleep if I felt drowsy. It was a very fulfilling tour. Thanks to the guide's thoughtfulness, I had a great time. I also felt comfortable due to the driver's safe driving. It was a very good tour. I highly recommend it.

I was unsure about touring the northern area by rental car since I'm not good at driving, but I found a bus tour to the area I wanted to visit and decided to sign up. It turned out to be a great decision as it was very comfortable.

We were able to visit various places, and the admission fee to the Churaumi Aquarium was included in the price, making it a great deal. I enjoyed the scenery much more than I would have while nervously driving a rental car. The guide and the driver were both kind, and I'm glad I signed up!

運転が苦手なので、レンタカーで北部方面を巡るか迷っていたのですが、ちょうど巡りたい方面のバスツアーを見つけて申込してみたら、とても快適で参加しさて大正解でした。

I left my luggage at the hotel and joined the tour. Until the day before, I hadn't explored Ishigaki Island, focusing instead on a tour centered around Iriomote Island and a night tour of Ishigaki Island, but I was able to easily take a quick tour by bus. First, we were able to explore the mangroves by boat and take our time with photos (the guide was also very attentive). The water buffalo cart was a slow-paced ride, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing at a leisurely pace. On the way back, we returned a bit faster with a different guide, but it was no problem since it was the return trip.

Finally, on Taketomi Island, we rode bicycles using a map. I had selected places to visit in advance online, so we were able to explore with plenty of time to spare.

Additionally, lunch was prepared with local ingredients, which was satisfying. It’s a tour that you can enjoy at a relaxed pace throughout the day, even for someone over 60...

Despite the rainy season weather making the local sightseeing slippery and difficult to walk, both the bus guide and the bus driver were considerate, and their desire for us participants to have a comfortable experience was very evident.

In the northern part of Yanbaru, I participated in my first solo bus tour. On the day of the tour, it was cloudy with occasional rain, and I was a bit anxious, but the cheerful greeting from the tour guide immediately put me at ease. The information I heard through the earphones was also educational. Thanks to the guide's flexible responses, I was able to visit the mangrove walkway, see the stunning view of Route 58 and Daishi Forest, enjoy lunch (which was a heavy downpour at that moment), visit Cape Hedo (a breathtaking view), and at Daishi Forest, I could admire the strange rocks, forest, and sea, managing to complete all the courses even though I wasn't very confident on my feet.

I was able to see the Yanbaru Kuina, and I realized that it was great to efficiently explore and learn through this tour rather than going without any knowledge. Next time, I want to stay in the northern area and take my time to revisit the places on my own. I must mention the tour guide, YK! Even though she must have been more tired than I was after two consecutive tours, she kept the atmosphere bright and lively throughout. What a professional! Her parting words, "Let's meet again someday!" really touched me.

やんばる北部、初の独りバスツアーで、当日は曇り空ぽつぽつ雨の中不安ながらの参加でしたが、最初の添乗員さんの底抜けに明るいご挨拶に心も解れ、イヤホンで所々聞く案内も勉強になりました。添乗員さんの臨機応変なご対応で、マングローブの遊歩道、ルート58と大石林山のツーショット、お昼ごはん(ここだけ大雨)、辺戸岬(絶景)、そして大石林山では奇岩、森林、海を眺めながら、足に自信がない私でも全てのコースを廻ることができました。

次回は北部に宿をとり、ゆっくり自分の足で復習に廻りたいと思いました。
特筆は、添乗員さんのYKさん！2連続の添乗で私よりも疲れていらっしゃるでしょうに、通して明るく元気に盛り上げてくださり、なんてprofessional！最後降車時の『またいつか会いましょうね～！』の一言は染みました。

We transferred to a bus and headed to the cruise ship terminal. The driver and guide was very good at speaking! After switching to the cruise ship, we observed the mangroves. Having done quite a few guided river cruises in Southeast Asia, I wasn't particularly impressed. We then transferred to another bus to go to the water buffalo cart station. The water buffalo cart ride while listening to Yaeyama folk songs was nice! The Okinawan cuisine at Yubu Island, accompanied by explanations, was delicious! After the meal, we took a commemorative photo with the water buffalo "Rui-kun"! I wanted the photo data and purchased two for 2500 yen. You can quickly download the data with a QR code. Then, there was a thunderstorm! During that time, we enjoyed Yubu Island coffee and cake at the Yubu Island tea house. The coffee was very tasty with a slight acidity. It seems to be a daily blend. When the rain lightened up, we returned to Iriomote Island by water buffalo cart, switched buses to go to the port, and took a boat to Taketomi Island. We took another bus and visited two beaches. 残り時間20分で展望ビルに上り、アイスの商店でアイス購入し、走り回り～またバスで港へ行き船で帰港・・・。クルーズ時間を短くするかして竹富島観光時間を、あと30分は取って欲しい。全ての行程でチケットを切り取り、出すのが大変でした。遊園地の腕輪のようにコース番号印刷をはめれば見せるだけでOKみたいなものを使ってほしいです。

2: Regarding the ox cart, I was informed by the local staff that moving to a different seat (especially towards the back) puts significant strain on the ox's neck, which has led to instances of fainting and even life-threatening situations in the past. It would have been better if this information had been provided during the adjustment phase when we were confirming our seating positions before departure, but this discussion happened during the return trip. I found it very stressful to receive a stern warning without prior explanation during the outbound trip when we were fixing our seats. I will never visit this island again. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I will not support it.

3: Additionally, the tour did not include the "2022 shuttle bus timetable" until I pointed it out. It was still showing the expired link from early 2021. 2:牛車では、座っている場所を移動(特に後方)すると牛の首に強度の負荷が生じ、気絶や生命につながる事案が過去幾度も発生したため現地担当者は懸念している旨説明がありました。
牛車がまだ出発前の段階で各自の席位置を確定させる調整段階の時に上記話があればよかったのですが、この話は帰りの牛車時でした。行きの牛車時に説明なく(かつ出発前の席固定調整時)に強い口調で注意だけされた私には非常にストレスフルでした。
二度とこの島へは行きません。非常に不快な思いでです。支援もしません。

3:また本ツアーは「2022送迎バス時刻表」を私が指摘するまで掲載がありませんでした。リンク期限切れの2021年前半掲載のままでした。
管理担当者はツアー会社側と本仲介(マッチングサイト)両者と推測されます。管理担当者の運用意識が私にはわかりかねました。

4:ツアー前日に電話がかかってきてその際に集合時間を案内されますが(他ツアーも同じく)申し込みがWebなのにその後アナログ対応で電話とは。。。IP電話だと電話代発生しますし沖縄旅行だと前日もバタバタしていたり離島や電波の悪い場所にいたり(私はそうでした)。運用システムの改善を強く要望します。
要は、目的が「集合時間、場所相互認識一致」ですよね。
なら申し込みに使用したメールアドレスからそのような画面へうつってクリックするなりすれば目的は果たせますよね？
アプリや大掛かりなシステム開発では費用がかさむこともありますが
この程度のものなら短時間少人数で対応できるわけです。
今回沖縄旅行で2つのツアーを申し込みましたが、現システムの悪さを踏まえてもリピートはありません。
IT知識向上と最新情報のブラッシュアップ、マーケティングを再度見直してください。

上記理由と体験から、ツアー申し込みよりも個別オプションを自分で手配した方が不満回避になると思いました。

The Yaeyama region entered the rainy season considerably earlier than usual, so the island tour I was looking forward to was greatly diminished in enjoyment due to heavy rain. I apologize for this evaluation being based on the weather rather than the tour itself, but please understand it as a reflection of the experience.

I should have been surrounded by the blue sky and blue sea, creating a rare experience. Even with the cloudy skies and heavy rain, I managed to enjoy it to some extent, but my expectations were too high. (laughs)

The gelato at Yubu Island Chaya was delicious. I felt a bit sad that Taketomi Island has become more touristy compared to my visit 20 years ago.

Next time, I hope to use the tour again on a sunny day and give it a perfect score.

The Churaumi Aquarium is located within a marine park, and the time allocated for visiting is not very long. Moreover, we were instructed to have lunch in the park and return to the bus. However, while there are a café inside the aquarium and a food court in the park, all the options are overpriced, unappetizing, and lack local flavor, making them not worth eating. When we returned to the bus parking lot, we found several diverse local restaurants around the parking area that looked very delicious. In other words, after the bus arrives and you visit the Churaumi Aquarium (which is located near the coast, down a slope from the bus parking lot), it’s recommended to skip lunch in the park, quickly head back up the slope to the parking lot, enjoy lunch at one of the diverse local restaurants nearby, and wait for the bus departure time. The course and fees were reasonable. However, the tour guide from Saitama had a low, fast-paced voice and was not good at explaining things, which was the worst part. Also, using the audio guide on the bus was unnecessary, and it was only used for that purpose. I arrived in Naha at 11 AM and had lunch, which was just the right time for our meeting. I wanted to eat at the public market, so I left the airport, but I think it would have been better to take the airport shuttle to have more time. At Masahiro Distillery, I was able to taste aged awamori and moromi vinegar, and surprisingly, they were quite easy to drink and delicious. At the Kariyushi Aquarium, I enjoyed a different concept from Churaumi. I was able to feed the sea turtles and experience fish therapy (fish that eat dead skin). At Umikaji Terrace, planes flew overhead, and I got great photos of the underside of the planes. At American Village, I got lost on the way to the bus stop, and the guide came to pick me up; I apologize for the inconvenience. The tour content was well-organized and very meaningful.

公設市場で食事がしたかったので、空港から離れましたが、空港送迎にしたほうが時間もゆっくりできたと思います。
まさひろ酒造では古酒の泡盛の試飲やもろみ酢の試飲もあり、意外と飲みやすくおいしかったです。かりゆし水族館では、美ら海とは違うコンセプトで楽しめました。ゾウガメにも餌槍もでき、フィッシュセラピー（角質を食べる魚）体験もできました。
ウミカジテラスでは、頭上を飛行機が飛び、飛行機のおなか部分をばっちり写真で取りました。アメリカンビレッジではバスのりばまでの道がわからず、ガイドさんに迎えに来ていただき、その節は大変ご迷惑をおかけいたしました。
ツアーの内容もしっかりと充実しており、とても有意義でした。
