I arrived at the airport the day before the experience and was able to pick up my tickets at the counter right in front of the arrival lobby. Thanks to that, I was able to enter without waiting in line, and it was a wonderful experience. The main aquarium is always crowded, but it is impressive and enjoyable from any angle.
体験日の前日に空港に到着し、到着ロビーのすぐ目の前のカウンターでチケットを受け取れました。
おかげで並ぶことなく入場することができ、素敵な体験でした。
メインの水槽は常に人が多いですが、どの角度から見ても楽しめて圧巻です。
美ら海水族館の近くはいくつか楽しめるスポットもありそうです。
せっかく那覇市内からも車で2時間近くかかりますので、周辺の下調べをしてから行かれるとより楽しい旅になると思います！

In the morning, I rode a water buffalo to Yufu Island. On the island, I was able to touch the water buffalo and feed them. I also saw beautiful butterflies and enjoyed delicious gelato, which made me very satisfied.
For lunch, I returned to Uehara Port and had a meal. I was able to get information about various shops, making it easy to choose.
In the afternoon, I enjoyed the mangrove nature by canoe. The weather wasn't that great, but it was so much fun that it didn't matter.
I want to come back!
午前は水牛に乗って由布島へ。島では水牛に触れたり、餌をあげることもできました。綺麗な蝶もみれたし、美味しいジェラートも食べれて満足です。
昼は上原港に戻って、昼食を。いろいろなお店の情報を聞けたので、選びやすかったです。
午後はカヌーでマングローブの自然を楽しみました。天候はそれほどよくありませんでしたが、それが気にならないぐらい楽しかったです。
また来たい！

I stayed near Maesari Beach, and since it was an unlimited ride, I was able to visit various shops in the city. At the bus terminal's shop, I occasionally came across famous salt rice crackers.

I was able to paddle through the mangrove river for the first time on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP)! The accommodation was near the island terminal, and they picked me up. On the way to the river, the guide shared stories about the weather in Ishigaki Island, the history of the town, and local agricultural products. I also learned about the mangroves during the nature guide session on the river. I fell off the board once while paddling, but I had a great time! I'm 59 years old, and since I will be subject to age restrictions next year, I'm glad I could do this this time.
マングローブの川を初めてのSUPで進むことが出来ました♪宿が離島ターミナルの近くで、お迎えに来てもらい、川までの道中はガイドさんから石垣島の天候や街の歴史、農産物の話を聞け、川ではマングローブ（ひるぎ）のネイチャーガイドも聞けました。SUPでは一度落ちましたが、とても楽しめました‼️私は59歳で来年は年齢制限にかかるので今回出来て良かったです。

This time, I participated in stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at Kabira Bay and snorkeling at the Blue Cave. The SUP in the clear waters of Kabira Bay was incredibly refreshing. The instructor was very attentive, making it enjoyable even for beginners!
Although the wind picked up at one point, the guide helped pull us along, so even those without much stamina can participate with peace of mind. The snorkeling was also fantastic; I was very satisfied to see beautiful coral reefs and fish! I was especially moved to see a clownfish up close; it was so cute!
Both activities allowed us to take many beautiful photos, so I was able to capture these memories. Thank you very much for this experience!

I experienced canoeing and sightseeing on Yubu Island. It was my first time on Iriomote Island, but thanks to the guide's extensive knowledge, I feel like I learned a bit more about the island and the mangroves.
In the morning, I enjoyed the nature of the mangrove forest while canoeing. I was a bit anxious about paddling, but while listening to explanations about the variety of fish and driftwood, I was able to have a fun time. In the afternoon on Yubu Island, I had the extraordinary experience of crossing the shallow waters on a water buffalo, which became a memorable moment. Almost everyone was trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling for the first time! The instructors were very thorough, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest without any worries, even as a beginner! Thanks to the many wonderful photos taken with the GoPro, I'm reminiscing while looking back at the pictures 😊 It was such a fun experience!!!
At the end, they also recommended a lot of great restaurants for our last bus ride, so I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my trip in Ishigaki! ✈️

We gathered at the bus terminal near the remote island bus terminal in the morning, and the guide shared a lot of interesting information during the ride, which was very helpful. We will return to the bus terminal after 2 PM, so if the weather and our stamina allow, we can visit nearby islands like Kohama Island. It's great because many of the sightseeing spots are difficult to access without a car.

I had a great time exploring Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so the sea wasn't the beautiful blue you see in photos, but I was still moved by the light blue waters of Kabira Bay. For lunch, I enjoyed a set meal with a variety of Okinawan dishes, including some I had never tried before.
Speaking of Taketomi Island, it's famous for its water buffalo. It was a dream of mine to ride one someday, and I was so happy to finally experience it! Orion, the water buffalo, was a relaxed and adorable creature.
After the water buffalo experience, I wasn't quite sure where to go next or what the recommended spots were, so I ended up just wandering around. I would have appreciated a pamphlet with recommended spots or courses for Taketomi Island in advance.
That said, I had a fantastic day overall and was very satisfied.
初の石垣島と竹富島をたくさん楽しめました。あいにくの曇りだったので写真で見るようなブルーの海ではなかったですがそれでも川平湾は水色で綺麗だったので感動しました。ランチは沖縄らしいお惣菜がたくさんある定食で初めて食べるものもあって楽しめました。
竹富島といえば、水牛です。こちらはいつか乗ってみたい！と夢だったので叶って幸せすぎました。水牛のオリオンくんはのんびりマイペースな子で可愛かったです。
竹富島の水牛の後はどこにいくのがたのしいのか？オススメスポットは？といまいち次の行き先が分からずウロウロと散歩していただけになってしまったので、事前に竹富島でのオススメスポットやオススメコースを記載したパンフレットなどいただけたら嬉しかったです。
とはいえ1日たくさん楽しめたので大満足です。

I experienced canoeing and snorkeling in the Blue Cave for the first time! With thorough instructions, even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind. During the experience, we received detailed explanations about the mangroves and an introduction to the Blue Cave, making it a unique way to enjoy the tour!
What stood out to me the most during this tour was the extensive introduction to Ishigaki while we were on the bus! It became a great reference for my future travels, and it turned out to be a very fulfilling trip to Ishigaki! Thank you 😊

I think sandals are better because you can wear them while still wet! After snorkeling, I felt cold, so I think it would be good to have something you can throw on while wet (I used a large towel).
濡れたまま靴が履けるようにサンダルの方がいいと思います！シュノーケリングが終わったあと寒く感じたため、濡れたまま羽織れるもの（私は大きなタオルを使いました）があった方がいいと思います！

The main Churaumi Aquarium was impressive! There were many other highlights as well. Additionally, the tour guide (bus) was attentive and made the experience feel less tiring. If I had to mention something, it took about 4 hours round trip for passenger pickups, which was a bit hard on my back, but considering the cost performance, it might be within an acceptable range.

The aquarium at Kaiyukan is probably more impressive. The dolphin show was really fun, synchronized with the music! The kids also got to experience feeding the animals, which was a great experience.

Due to strong winds, we had to change our plans and enjoyed canoeing in the mangroves of Miyara River! It felt amazing, so much so that we didn't even mind the rain! Of course, seeing the mangroves and having fun canoeing was great, but what made it even better was our guide, who kept the atmosphere lively and enjoyable throughout the trip. They also introduced us to some delicious places to eat, which was very helpful! Thank you very much. I hope to meet a Kijimunar someday!

I chose this option because I was considering ways to get to the Churaumi Aquarium without renting a car, and it allowed me to visit other spots as well. The bus guide shared a lot of information about Okinawa, making the trip enjoyable!
Since it was a weekday, there weren't many crowds, and my companion and I had plenty of time to explore each spot smoothly. If you have children, it might be a bit hectic and challenging.

We took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Uehara Port on Iriomote Island, where we were welcomed by our guide, Macchan. It seems that ferries to Uehara Port are often canceled during this season (if canceled, there is a shuttle bus from Ohara Port), so we were lucky.
In the morning, we enjoyed a water buffalo cart tour of Yufu Island, and in the afternoon, we had a mangrove canoe tour. The experience of moving through the sea on a water buffalo cart was extraordinary and became a wonderful memory. On Yufu Island, we also had the chance to interact with the water buffalo and take commemorative photos!
During the afternoon mangrove canoe tour, we thoroughly enjoyed the mangroves along the Urauchi River for about an hour. We took many photos while canoeing, which also became a lovely memory!

午前中は水牛車での由布島観光、午後はマングローブカヌーツアーを楽しみました。
水牛車で海の中を移動する経験は非日常感に溢れ、とても良い思い出になりました。由布島では水牛との触れ合い＋記念撮影もできました！
午後のマングローブカヌーでは、浦内川のマングローブを約１時間かけて堪能しました。
