On the first day of my trip to Okinawa, I picked up my tickets at the airport and on the last day, I dropped off my luggage at the airport before taking a bus to the aquarium. I had reserved the Airport Liner for access between the aquarium and the airport in advance, so it was very smooth. (Those with reservations get priority seating.)

Along the way, I caught sight of the emerald green sea, which really boosted my excitement. The Churaumi Aquarium is divided into various sections, and the area with the whale sharks was extremely crowded, so I was glad I had picked up my tickets in advance. There were many international tourists, making it quite dense, so wearing a mask is essential. (You definitely don’t want to catch the flu or COVID during your trip.)

There are several places to eat and plenty of spots to take a break, so you won’t get tired. The whale sharks were wonderful, but I highly recommend watching the manatees as they munch on lettuce with their hands; it’s incredibly cute!

沖縄旅行初日に空港でチケットを引き取り、最終日に飛行場に荷物を預けてからバスで水族館へ行きました。水族館と空港のアクセスのエアポートライナーは事前に予約しておいたのでとてもスムーズでした。（予約している人優先で席に座れます）

途中エメラルドグリーンの海が見えてきてテンションがあがります。
美ら海水族館は、いろんな館にわかれていてジンベイザメのいるところは激込みなので、
やはり事前にチケット受け取りしておいて良かったです。海外観光客が多くてすごく密集してるのでマスクは必須です。（旅行中にインフルやコロナに感染したくないですよね）
ご飯を食べる場所もいくつかあるし、休憩できる場所も多いので疲れることはないです。
ジンベイザメも素敵でしたが、マナティがレタスを手でモシャモシャ食べる様子がとても可愛いのでおすすめです。

I was able to visit Kouri Island and Pineapple Park, which I hadn't been to yet during my tour of the main island. I couldn't help but think about why pineapples are so cute while taking photos, and the staff who helped us were cheerful, which really lifted my spirits! I also got to enjoy a lot of delicious food from Okinawa, and I finally made it to Kouri Island. The guide was very kind and shared many stories about Okinawa's legends and history, and they were great at singing too! The weather was wonderful, making it a fun tour.

本島巡りで、まだ行けていなかった古宇利島、パイナップルパークにも行けました。
パイナップルって、なんで可愛いんだろう、、って思いながら、写真撮って貰う時のスタッフさんも明るくて、ついついテンション上がりました！
沖縄の美味しいものも沢山食べたり、念願の古宇利島へも行けて、ガイドさんも親切に沢山いろんな沖縄の伝説や歴史について話してくださり、歌も上手でした！
天気にも恵まれて楽しいツアーでした。

Finally, I made my long-awaited visit to the Churaumi Aquarium! I arrived at 8:30 in the morning and dashed straight to see the whale sharks. Their grace is overwhelming, making you feel as if you're underwater. I was completely captivated.

After about two hours, a huge crowd of visitors started to pour in, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I left. I returned around 5 PM, just before closing, and once again, an uncrowded aquarium is the best! It's great that you can re-enter as many times as you want on the same ticket throughout the day.

What's even more amazing is the Okichan Theater! It's a dolphin show, but with the ocean as the backdrop, it feels incredibly open. Plus, it seems you don't need a ticket to watch this. Really!? That's amazing!!

The show itself was fantastic, and I ended up watching it twice (laughs).

ついに念願の美ら海水族館へ！
朝一、8時30分から行き、ダッシュでジンベエザメに会いに行きました。
その優雅さは圧倒的で、まるで海の中にいるよう。ただうっとりと魅入ってしまいます。

2時間もするとお客さんが山のように押し寄せてきて、耐え切れず、退館。
今度は終了間際の17時過ぎに再入場してみましたが、やはりすいてる水族館はサイコー！
1枚の入場券で、当日中なら何度でも再入場できるのが優しいですね。

さらにすごいのは、オキちゃん劇場！
イルカショーですが、背景が海なので、すごい解放感。
しかも、こちらは入場券が不要で見られそう。
え！まじ！？すご！！

ショー自体も素晴らしく、2回も見てしまいました（笑

I participated in a water buffalo cart tour. I was able to spend a relaxing time. The water buffalo was adorable, and it was great that I could take photos.

If you are staying near the remote island terminal, you can purchase a one-day free pass (24-hour ticket) for convenient round-trip transportation between the airport and the hotel.

I recommend the following sightseeing route: Take a bus around 9:00 AM to Kawahira Park, spend about 40 minutes exploring, and then take the bus to Ishigaki Airport. At the airport, you can watch planes and have a meal before taking the bus to Hirano to visit Tamatorizaki Observatory or Hirakubo Lighthouse, and then return on the same bus route.

The weather on the island can change quickly, so even if it's cloudy in town, you might find sunshine and beautiful views at your destination.

離島ターミナル方面で宿泊する場合、空港とホテルの往復運賃で一日フリーパス（24時間券）が購入できるので大変便利です。
観光ルートのおすすめは、朝9:00頃のバスで川平公園に行き40分ほど見て回った後石垣空港行きバスで空港へ。空港で飛行機を見たり食事をとって平野行きバスで玉取崎展望台か平久保崎灯台に行き、折り返しのバスで戻ってくるルートです。
島の天気は変わりやすいのでたとえ街中が曇っていても行った先では太陽が出て素敵な景色がみれるかもしれません。

I only used it for three days, but it was very convenient. I was grateful that I could use all the East Bus lines. I'm glad I made the purchase.

My first experience with the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay.
We were on the boat for quite a long time, but I think it's not easy to get seasick!
I was amazed by the various corals we could see.
We were also able to spot several sea turtles.
Kabira Bay is beautiful and soothing even just from the observation deck, but if it's your first time at Kabira Bay, I highly recommend the glass-bottom boat.

はじめての川平湾グラスボート体験。
結構長い時間乗船していましたが、酔いにくいと思います！
様々な珊瑚が見られスゴイと思いました。
また、海ガメも何匹か見ることができました。
川平湾は、展望台だけの観光でも充分キレイで癒されるのですが、はじめての川平湾ならばグラスボートオススメです。

It was a wonderful experience. I felt an excitement as if I had become the protagonist of an adventure novel. Our guide, Matsushita, explained things clearly about driftwood, living creatures, and the history of Yufu Island and Iriomote Island. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and very cool, which left me in awe. The guide spoke with such enthusiasm that it made me feel joyful too, reminiscent of a certain adventurous professor from my university days who always brightened up the room. I felt a mix of nostalgia and a desire to catch up quickly. I am honored to have participated in such an amazing tour. Thank you very much.

素晴らしい体験でした。まるで冒険小説の主人公になったかのようなワクワク感を感じました。ガイドの松下さんが漂木のこと、生き物のこと、由布島の西表さんのこと等分かりやすく教えてくれました。兎に角西表島に関する知識が豊富でかっこよく、圧倒されました。ガイドさん本人が楽しそうに話すので自分まで楽しくなり、まるで大学時代お世話になった某冒険家の教授を明るくさせたような姿と重なり、懐かしさ半分、自分も早く追いつきたいと思いました。最高のツアーに参加できて光栄です。ありがとうございました。

The time spent at each sightseeing spot is far too short. There's nothing you can do except for using the restroom. Please allocate more time at the main locations.

Also, is there any way to improve the meals at Auntie Pozer's table? The main hamburger is too bland. The tempura of white fish has no flavor at all, and there are no seasonings like salt. The small noodle soup is too greasy. I felt that the variety of side dishes was just for the sake of having many.

If it's a sightseeing bus, please clean the windows every day. It's not a regular bus.

The person in charge should join the tour once to understand the feelings of the tourists and aim for improvements.

各々の観光地の滞在時間があまりにも短すぎです。トイレ以外何もできません。
メインの場所では時間をとってください。

あと、ポーザーおばさんの食卓での食事は何とかなりませんか?　メインのハンバーグの味が薄すぎます。白身の魚の天ぷらは何の味もしませんし、塩などの調味料すらありません。小さな麺のスープが油っこすぎです。おかずの種類がただ多いだけと感じました。

観光バスであれば毎日窓のガラスをきれいに拭いてください。路線バスではありません。

観光客の気持ちとなって責任者は一度ツアーに同行すべきです。そして改善を目指してください。

During my first solo trip to Okinawa, I was unsure about renting a car since I didn't know the area. After hearing about bus tours from acquaintances who traveled to Okinawa, I did some research and read experiences from solo participants, which led me to decide to join a tour for efficient sightseeing.

Participating in the tour allowed me to visit the attractions I wanted to see in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The beautiful Okinawan sea, the Churaumi Aquarium, and the live performance at Ryukyu Village were all wonderful experiences. I also signed up for a dinner that included a shamisen live performance, as I wanted to enjoy local Okinawan cuisine.

Thanks to the driver who prioritized safe driving and the kind and attentive guide, I had a fantastic day. I was particularly impressed by the guide's efforts to communicate in Japanese, despite being unfamiliar with the language.

一人旅の初めての沖縄で、地理も分からずレンタカーを借りるか迷いました。沖縄を旅行した知人からバスツアーの話を聞き、色々と調べ、お一人様参加の体験談を読ませて頂き効率良く巡れそうと参加を決めました。実際に参加してみて、自分が回りたい観光地をコスパと効率良く巡れてます。沖縄の海をイメージして美ら海水族館に琉球村での生演奏、素晴らしいかったです。沖縄の地元料理堪能したかったので三味線ライブを味わるディナーも申し込みました。安全運転に努めて下さった運転手の方と親切丁寧なガイドの方の案内で素敵な一日を過ごせました。またガイド方の不慣れな日本で語学を駆使して活躍される姿がとても印象に残りました。

During my stay, I didn't rent a car. I used a sightseeing taxi to get to the headquarters and stayed overnight near Churaumi. The next day, I returned to Naha by bus.

I was able to enjoy Orion Beer for lunch, and it was comfortable.

Compared to exploring freely with a rental car, it was a reasonable and efficient way to sightsee. The bus guide's explanations were very helpful!

I was taken by bus and had some free time, which was enjoyable. I was also glad to be able to feed the dolphins (for an additional fee).

バスで連れていってもらえて自由時間もあり、楽しめました。

I enjoyed the trip. the weather was bit windy and drizzling. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Arigatho!!

Due to the wind, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but we were taken to another spot. There were many tropical fish near the coral, and it was a great experience to see fish up close that you usually see in an aquarium! I even encountered a large sea turtle that I had never seen before; according to the guide, you only get to see one about once in every 20 times. They took photos at various points and checked in on how I was feeling, which made me feel secure throughout the experience! I want to go snorkeling again someday!

風の影響で青の洞窟には行けませんでしたが、別のスポットに案内していただきました。
サンゴ付近にたくさんの熱帯魚がいて、水族館で見るような魚たちを真近で見ることができてとても良い経験になりました！
見たことのない大きなサイズのウミガメに出会うこともできて、ガイドさんによると20回に1回くらいの確率でしか出会えないそう。
ポイントポイントで写真を撮っていただいたり、体調が悪くないかなどの声がけを細かくしてくれたので最後まで安心して過ごすことができました！
またいつかシュノーケリングやりたいです！

It was easy to find the ticket exchange location at the airport, and I was able to enter the aquarium smoothly on the day of my visit. It was also great that I could purchase tickets online!

空港でチケットの引換場所もすぐ分かり、水族館を訪れた当日もすぐ入館できてスムーズでした。ネット決済で買えたのも良かったです！

I arrived earlier than my reserved time, but since there was availability, I was able to board an earlier boat. It was quite crowded and nearly full, but the captain's explanations were clear and precise, the scenery was beautiful, and I was able to see a lot of fish, which made me very satisfied. Also, the fact that parking is free is a big plus if you're renting a car.

予約した時間より早く到着しましたが、空きがあったので早い船に乗せてもらえました。結構混んでいてほぼ満員でしたが、船頭さんの説明がわかりやすく的確で、景色も綺麗、魚もたくさんみれて大満足でした。
また駐車場も無料な点はレンタカーする場合には見逃せません。

At the Ocean Expo, everyone except me went to the aquarium, but since I wasn't interested in fish, I went alone to the tropical botanical garden. The orchids were very beautiful and reminded me a lot of the botanical gardens in Singapore. Along the way, I participated in a 30-minute guided tour at Ryukyu Village, where I learned about the life in Ryukyu at that time. Manza Beach was a place where, before the defeat in the war, Okinawa's residents were cornered and threw themselves in, and I joined the tour to confirm that. Okinawa has many traces of the sacrifices made by the nation, and I felt the tragic reality of how not only soldiers but also civilians were caught up in the war, as well as the happiness of living freely and normally now.

海洋博では私以外の方は皆さま水族館に行かれましたが，魚に興味がない私は，一人熱帯植物園に行きました。蘭の花がとてもきれいでした。シンガポールの植物園とよく似ていました。途中，琉球村で30分ガイドに参加して，当時の琉球の生活を勉強しました。万座毛は敗戦前，沖縄の県民が追い詰められ身を投げた地であり，それを確認したくて参加しました。沖縄には国の犠牲になった痕跡がたくさん残っており，当時，軍人はもとより文民達が戦争に巻き込まれた悲惨さ，自分が今不自由なく当たり前に生きていることの幸福を感じ入りました。

The tour was a full day, gathering at 8 AM and dispersing around 7 PM. Despite being busy, there was no wasted time, and I enjoyed stopping at many different places.

8時集合19時解散くらい丸１日のツアーでした。
忙しいながらも無駄な時間はなく色々と沢山の場所に立ち寄れて楽しかったです。

I saw beautiful and cute fish. I was excited to see what kind of fish and coral would appear next.

きれいでかわいいお魚さん見られました。
次はどんなお魚やサンゴが出てくるかワクワクしながら乗っていました。

The ticket pickup was at the airport. The flight was delayed, and I didn't have time to pick up the ticket, so I had to go back to the airport the next day to collect it.

It was unfortunately rainy, but I was still able to enjoy it to the fullest! The Korean guide was also very dedicated and shared a lot of interesting information.

Mr. Kan's way of speaking was polite, and his heartfelt dedication to his work was wonderful. He was working hard even in bad weather.

案内の金さんの話し方が丁寧で、とても心のこもったお仕事ぶりが素晴らしいでした。悪天候の中でも一生懸命働いていらっしゃいました。

The departure from the bus terminal in front of Ishigaki Port was convenient, as the highlights were well-organized. It's nice to hear the guide's stories instead of driving a rental car. The guide who led my tour seemed to be studying the sanshin and even performed for us. I participated in a day tour to another remote island, and compared to that, I think the lunch was good for the price.

石垣港前のバスターミナルより出発、見どころがまとまっていて便利でした。レンタカーで行くよりガイドさんのお話も聞けます。私が参加した時のガイドさんは三線を勉強されている様で演奏してくださりました。別の離島で一日ツアーへ参加しましたが比べるとランチは、この金額でよかったかと思います。

Due to strong winds, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling were canceled, and our family of four experienced canoeing instead. Paddling was a bit challenging, but even beginners could enjoy it without difficulty. During the transfer from the hotel, our guide shared a lot of information about sightseeing and shops in Ishigaki Island, allowing us to have a great time until the end. I would love to rely on their services again when I come back to Ishigaki Island!

強風でSUPとシュノーケリングは中止になり、家族４人でカヌーを体験。漕ぐのは少し大変でしたが、初心者でも無理なく体験できました。ホテルからの移動中はガイドさんが石垣島の観光やお店の情報をたくさん教えてくださり、最後まで楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。また石垣島に来るときはお世話になりたいと思います！

I used it in December 2024. After purchasing, I mistakenly issued tickets for the Churaumi Aquarium in late November. Tickets should not be issued later than 10 days before the visit, or else the validity date will expire before the visit, rendering the tickets invalid. I contacted the travel agency in Taiwan via email to request a new FunPASS, which caused some trouble, but there was someone at the Taiwanese travel agency who spoke Japanese well and responded very politely.

If used properly, it can be a bit cheaper than purchasing tickets separately for each location. However, since the places to visit are spread out across Okinawa Main Island, I recommend planning ahead to use it effectively. For example, deciding which locations to stop by in the FunPASS for the day.

I also visited a gelato shop inside Aeon, and they were well aware of the FunPASS, so I had no issues using it anywhere.

2024年の12月に使いました。購入後、11月下旬に美ら海水族館のチケットを間違って発券してしまいました。本来は訪問の10日前以降で発券しないと、入場券の有効期限日を訪問前に迎えてしまい、チケットが無効になってしまいます。発売先の台湾の旅行会社にメールで連絡して、再度新しいFunPASSを発行してもらうと言うトラブルを起こしてしまったのですが、台湾の旅行会社に日本語の上手な方がいらして、とても丁寧に対応していただきました。
これを上手く使えばそれぞれでチケットを購入して入場するよりちょっと安くなります。
ただ、訪問場所が沖縄本島で分散しているため、上手に使うには前もって計画する事をお勧めします。今日はこちら方面に行くので、FunPASSの中のどこに立ち寄るなどです。
イオンの中のジェラート屋さんにも行きましたが、ちゃんとFunPASSの事を知ってて、どこでも全く問題なく使えます。

In January, I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time.
Kabira Bay had incredibly beautiful, clear waters.
I could see all the way to the bottom of the sea, and I felt that the cleanliness was due to the cooperation of everyone in taking their trash home.
In the photo, I discovered a sea turtle, which is said to be a lucky encounter! On its shell, there was surprisingly a fish! It was a rare experience with two strokes of luck combined.

1月に初めて石垣島観光をしました。
川平湾は、とても海が綺麗で、透き通っていました。
海の底までくっきりと見ることが出来、日頃からゴミの持ち帰りなど協力があっての綺麗さだと感じました。
写真は、出会えるとラッキーと言われているウミガメを発見！甲羅の上には、まさかの魚が！2つのラッキーが重なった貴重な体験でした。

After SUP in the mangrove forest, we went snorkeling in the sea. It was my first experience with SUP, but I was taught carefully and succeeded in paddling while standing! During the experience, I was able to learn a lot about the local plants and the characteristics of Ishigaki Island. While moving around, they also introduced us to recommended shops we passed by, which allowed us to fully enjoy our trip. Snorkeling was my second experience, and I was healed by the beautiful sea and colorful fish. There were children among the participants, but the staff provided careful support, so I think families with kids can participate with peace of mind. Thanks to all the staff, it was a fun trip! マングローブの森でSUPのあと、海でシュノーケリングをしました。
初めてのSUP体験でしたが丁寧に教えていただき立って漕ぐことに成功！！
体験中は現地の植物や石垣島の特徴について色々聞くことができ勉強になりました。
移動中も通りがかったおすすめのお店などを紹介していただき、おかげで旅行を満喫できました。
シュノーケリングは人生2回目の体験でしたが綺麗な海と色鮮やかな魚に癒されました。
参加者の中にはお子様もいらっしゃいましたが、スタッフの方々が丁寧にフォローしておりお子様連れでも安心して参加できると思います。
スタッフの皆様のおかげで楽しい旅になりました！

If you're sightseeing in Ishigaki Island using the route bus, this one-day pass is a great deal. Moreover, if you book through Veltra, you can pay cashless with a credit card. If you go through the JAL or ANA websites, you can also earn miles. With this pass, transportation on the island is affordable, making Ishigaki Island the top choice among Okinawa's remote islands. When I used it last year, there seemed to be some issues with name verification, which put a burden on the drivers, but this time it has improved, and I was able to easily issue the pass with a clear app display. I will definitely purchase it again the next time I visit Ishigaki Island. Thank you to Higashi Unyu!

路線バスで石垣島観光する場合、大変お得な一日券です。
しかもveltraからの予約ならクレジット払いでキャッシュレス。JALやANAのサイト経由ですとマイルも貯まります。
島内交通が安く済むこのパスがあるので沖縄の離島は石垣島一択です。
昨年利用した時は導入まもなかったのでしょうか、名前との照合があったり運転手さんに負担をかけていましたが、今回改善されて見やすいアプリ表示で簡単にパス券を発行いただけました。
また次、石垣島を訪れる時にも必ず購入します。東運輸さんに感謝です、ありがとうございます。
