We went to the beautiful sea of Ishigaki Island to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was my first time doing a SUP tour and snorkeling, and the weather was perfect with a clear blue sea, which was amazing. During snorkeling, our guide, Arai, shared knowledge about Ishigaki Island on the bus ride and provided detailed explanations of the equipment in the water. He also took beautiful photos of us, and we were lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle, which was fantastic. However, I did feel a bit seasick while diving, so those who are prone to motion sickness might want to bring some medication.

During the SUP tour, we had a great time on the water thanks to our cheerful coach, Yusuke. The "Nice in!" cheers when we fell into the water were the best! This was actually my second time experiencing this. When I arrived at Kabira Bay, I was immediately captivated by the beautiful sea. Just seeing this scenery makes me truly feel that it was worth coming here.

After thoroughly enjoying the view, I completed the check-in and finally boarded the boat. Depending on the day and the boat, the number of guests may vary, but those who boarded together are bound by some connection and will become companions to enjoy the cruise until the end.

While admiring the beautiful coastal scenery, the boat soon headed to the coral point. The captain guided us while we admired the beautiful branching corals and round corals. There were many mysterious creatures on the seabed. Various colorful fish, including a type of clownfish, decorated the bottom of the boat.

The boat continued further out, depending on the day and the captain, venturing boldly into the open sea. It felt like we were almost near the open ocean, as the color of the water deepened to a more vibrant blue, revealing the depth below. The mystery increased, and we encountered coral formations that could only be seen while diving, along with larger fish.

Before long, the cruise came to an end, and we returned to the shore, fully satisfied. Finally, I indulged in delicious Blue Seal ice cream at one of the many shops near the check-in area, or enjoyed tasty Yaeyama soba at the park tea house. 海底には不思議な生き物が沢山。クマノミの一種や、それに属するような色々な煌びやかな魚達が、ボートの底面を彩ってくれます。

ボートは更に進み、日によって？船長さんによって？グングン沖に繰り出して行きます。もう、ほとんど外海に近いのか、底面の色は益々青く一変し、深度が伺える沖合に出てきました。
神秘さは更に増して、ダイビングでもしなければ見られないようなサンゴの群生、更にサイズの大きな魚達と巡り会えました。

程なくしてクルーズは終了、大満喫のうちに岸辺に戻り。最後は受付付近に沢山ある売店で、美味しいブルーシールアイスを堪能。若しくは公園茶屋で美味しい八重山そばを食べるのお良いでしょう。

・停車場所を減らして、美ら海での時間を10分でも長く取った方がいいのでは。水族館を見た後に時間が余ったが、別の施設に行くほどは時間が余らないし、時間つぶしに困った。


美ら海水族館は1度行けばいいかなという感じでした。土地勘がないなか、バスツアーは便利なので機会があればまた利用したいが、料理は別のツアーにしようと思う。

I participated in this tour as a solo traveler. It was great to be able to visit so many places at a low cost. I had read in reviews that the time spent at each spot was short, so I researched the highlights before joining. Therefore, I didn't feel it was particularly short. It was my first trip to Okinawa. Since I couldn't reserve a rental car due to Golden Week, I joined this bus tour. There was heavy traffic, but the bus took us everywhere, so I was able to enjoy it without stress. At the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, I focused on the Oki-chan Theater and the whale shark exhibit. I used this service at the end of my trip to Ishigaki Island. As a beginner in Ishigaki, I found it to be a very worthwhile tour that allowed me to visit historical sites and attractions. I felt a great impression from the guide who subtly promoted Higashi Kotsu. Next time, I will use Higashi Kotsu's route bus. As an option, I recommend the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay.

I was able to fully enjoy snorkeling while seeing sea turtles, Nemo, and many fish. I felt a bit anxious at first because I'm not a strong swimmer and we were going quite far, but the instructor stayed with us the whole time and pulled me along with a floating stick, so I was able to participate safely without drowning. There were also children participating. The curry for lunch was a bit spicy but delicious! I was very happy that the instructor sent me photos of the snorkeling via LINE, which will remain a wonderful memory. I will attach my favorite photo that the instructor sent.

ウミガメやニモ、多数の魚を見ながら、シュノーケルを存分に楽しむことができました。
泳ぎが苦手で、かなり遠くまで行くので大丈夫か一瞬不安を感じましたが、インストラクターの方がずっと一緒にいて、浮く棒で引っ張って下さったので、溺れることなく安全に参加する事ができました。子供達も参加されていました。
お昼のカレーも少し辛めで美味しかったです！
シュノーケルの写真を撮ってLINEで送って下さったのも思い出に残るので、大変嬉しかったです。
インストラクターの方が送って下さった写真のうちお気に入りを添付させて頂きます。
