The wind was strong, but I enjoyed both Hamajima and the snorkeling afterward. The staff were kind, friendly, and had a great attitude, from the transportation to the accompanying staff. I forgot my motion sickness medication, but they lent me a wristband that applies pressure to acupressure points. The explanations during snorkeling were also good. Hamajima had a fantastic atmosphere and was beautiful. However, because the wind was strong, the boat rocked quite a bit. It's a small boat, so it's understandable, but it felt a bit like a ride. My backside hurt, haha.

The pickup location was in the city center, and since there was no shuttle service, we gathered with a rental car, but it was great that there was free parking available. The waves were calm, and I didn't feel seasick at all on the way to the island. The sea around the island was incredibly beautiful. I was able to take photos there, which became wonderful memories. We entered the water about 15 minutes away by boat. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and it was a lot of fun. The people from RIZE were all very kind and knowledgeable about the different types of fish, which made it a memorable experience. However, since there were no snorkeling photos, I think those who want to take a lot of pictures should bring their own camera to capture more memories. 送迎場所がの対象場所が市街地であり、送迎がなくレンタカーで集合だったのですが無料の駐車場があったので良かったです。波も静かで全然船酔いもなく島に行けました。島の海はすごく綺麗でした。そこで写真を撮ったりでき、思い出になりました。そこから15分程船で離れた所で海に入りました。ガイドさんの説明も分かりやすく、とても楽しかったです。RIZEの方々も凄く優しい方ばかりで魚の種類も詳しくてとても思い出に残りました。ただシュノーケルの写真がなく写真を沢山撮りたい方は個人的にカメラを持っていった方がより思い出が増えるかなと思います。貴重な体験をさせて頂きありがとうございました。

Even while swimming, whenever her goggles slipped, the instructor adjusted them for her multiple times, allowing her to swim comfortably. I was worried about whether we would see a sea turtle, but we were able to see one just about 10 minutes after we started. It was incredibly moving to swim so close to it. In the northern part of Yanbaru, I participated in my first solo bus tour. On the day of the tour, it was cloudy with occasional rain, and I was a bit anxious, but the cheerful greeting from the tour guide immediately put me at ease. Thanks to the guide's flexible responses, I was able to visit the mangrove walkway, see the stunning view of Route 58 and Daishi Forest, enjoy lunch (which was a heavy downpour at that moment), visit Cape Hedo (a breathtaking view), and at Daishi Forest, I could admire the strange rocks, forest, and sea, managing to complete all the courses even though I wasn't very confident on my feet.

By the way, I had a great time chatting at the local sweets shop at the roadside station we stopped at (the tart and cream puffs were the best).

Next time, I want to stay in the northern area and take my time to revisit the places on my own. I must mention the tour guide, YK! Even though she must have been more tired than I was after two consecutive tours, she kept the atmosphere bright and lively throughout. What a professional! Her parting words, "Let's meet again someday!" really touched me.

やんばる北部、初の独りバスツアーで、当日は曇り空ぽつぽつ雨の中不安ながらの参加でしたが、最初の添乗員さんの底抜けに明るいご挨拶に心も解れ、イヤホンで所々聞く案内も勉強になりました。添乗員さんの臨機応変なご対応で、マングローブの遊歩道、ルート58と大石林山のツーショット、お昼ごはん(ここだけ大雨)、辺戸岬(絶景)、そして大石林山では奇岩、森林、海を眺めながら、足に自信がない私でも全てのコースを廻ることができました。
ヤンバルクイナも見られたし、何も知らないで行くより先ずこちらのツアーで効率よく廻って学べたのは良いなと。
そうそう、最後立ち寄った道の駅の地元のスイーツ屋さんでお話も出来て(タルト、シュークリーム最高)楽しかったです。
次回は北部に宿をとり、ゆっくり自分の足で復習に廻りたいと思いました。
特筆は、添乗員さんのYKさん！2連続の添乗で私よりも疲れていらっしゃるでしょうに、通して明るく元気に盛り上げてくださり、なんてprofessional！最後降車時の『またいつか会いましょうね～！』の一言は染みました。

I took the ferry from Ishigaki Island at 8:30 and participated in canyoning on Iriomote Island.

The weather was cloudy with occasional rain, which made me a bit anxious, but I didn't feel too cold even in short sleeves and shorts!

After about a 10-minute walk, we arrived at the river and jumped right in! There were several places to jump and slides, and even half a day was enough to have a great time. The guide was also entertaining! It was really so much fun!!

On the way back, I was able to borrow a shower at the office. There are no shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryers, so it’s best to bring your own if you need them!

I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends when I get back!✌️

I was lucky enough to participate during a break in the rainy season. Since there were only two of us at the same time due to the post-Golden Week period, we were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about others around us.

We received a thorough explanation of safety and how to ride from the staff, and off we went! The staff guided us to areas rich in coral and fish. We were fortunate enough to meet the local resident in the cove and had a wonderful time.

Additionally, the accompanying staff took photos and used a drone to capture footage, editing it on the spot, allowing us to create lasting memories from this experience, which left us very satisfied.

This tour allowed us to see fish without having to enter the water, making it enjoyable even for us, an elderly couple who were hesitant about marine activities. Initially, I thought one hour might be too short, but it turned out to be just the right amount of time for older participants. It was the middle of the rainy season, and unfortunately, the sea was murky due to heavy rain the day before, but luckily, the weather was calm on the day of the tour, allowing us to paddle smoothly to our favorite spots. I was so excited to discover how much fun canoeing can be! Along the way, we peeked into the water, navigated through narrow gaps between rocks, and even saw an eagle carrying a large fish (Kuma-kun mentioned it was his first time seeing that too). Chatting with Kuma-kun made the 1.5 hours fly by.

After that, we had a lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00, during which we could freely explore, eat at nearby shops, or visit souvenir stores.

In the afternoon, we gathered at Shigira Beach at 14:00, and the instructor was Mao-kun! He provided detailed explanations with great effort. I had done snorkeling a few times before, but I felt that he was the most thorough instructor I had encountered. In the sea, he took us to a spot where we could see clownfish, and then to a location where sea turtles were present for my long-awaited sea turtle snorkeling! そのあと、12:00～14:00は昼休憩ですが、自由に行動できるので、近所のお店で食べたり、お土産物屋さんにいったりできます。

午後は14:00にシギラビーチに集合で、インストラクターはまおくんです！
一生懸命、丁寧に説明してくださりました。シュノーケリングはこれまで何度かしたことがありますが、今までで一番丁寧に説明してくださるインストラクターさんだな、と感じました。
海では、ニモのいるスポットに連れてってくれて、その後はウミガメがいる場所に連れてってくれて念願のウミガメシュノーケリング！！
ウミガメはこれまで海の上からは何度か見ることはありましたが、手を伸ばせば触れる近距離（目の前1mくらいのところにずっといます。）で、食事をしているところをずっと観察！！ウミガメの5分おきの息継ぎを3回も見ることができて、本当にとても楽しかったです。

ツアーが終了して約1時間後には、LINEを通してカヌーとシュノーケリングの写真をたくさん送ってくれました！これはすごい！また、海で自分で写真を撮ってもなかなかうまくは撮れませんし、データでいただけるのはすごくうれしかったです。

大満足な一日でした。
