I had been looking forward to my trip for a long time, but unfortunately, it started with rain, which was a bit disappointing for my trip to Ishigaki Island... However, I’m really glad I joined this tour on the first night! During the travel, our guide Ryusei helped us spot creatures like owls and shared recommendations for shops and souvenirs on Ishigaki Island. Thanks to him, we encountered four coconut crabs, and we were able to interact with more creatures than I had imagined, all because it was raining. I experienced both the mountains and the sea in a place I would never normally visit, making it truly an "adventure" trip! 久々の旅行でずっと楽しみにしていましたが、あいにくの雨スタートで少し残念な気分で始まった石垣島旅行でした…ですが、初日の夜にこのツアーに参加して、本当に本当によかったです！！移動中もフクロウなどの生き物を見つけてくださったり、石垣島のおすすめのお店やお土産について教えてくださったり、ガイドのryuseiさんのおかげです(^^)雨が降っていたからこそ、ヤシガニにも4匹出会え、そのほかにも想像以上の生き物に触れ合うことができました。普段なら絶対に行かないような場所で山も海も同時に堪能でき、まさしく"冒険"の旅でした！星空は見れませんでしたが、代わり夜景を見せていただき、大満足です◎次回石垣島へ旅行に行ったときは、またこのツアーで星空鑑賞をリベンジしたいと思います！

Once we entered the jungle, we had a wealth of new and valuable experiences, including seeing the rare coconut crabs for this season, hermit crabs of sizes we had never seen before, and even glowing firefly larvae. On our way back, we also encountered an owl.

　ジャングルの中にはもっと沢山の生き物がいて是非出会ってみたかったですが、何よりもガイドのリュウセイさんが私達に様々な生き物や植物を見せるため、雨の中一生懸命に探してくださった気遣いがとてもとても嬉しく、石垣島での1番の思い出の一つとなりました(^^) 本当に素敵なツアーをありがとうございました！

They provided thorough explanations about what we were seeing. They also let us touch things whenever possible, and I was especially happy that they took photos for us. They managed to capture beautiful shots despite it being nighttime and moving around, and they sent us pictures of the whole family together. The tour guide felt like they were enjoying the experience with us, which made for a very enjoyable time. I also received advice on souvenirs, and the next day, we went to buy them just as they suggested (laughs). They mentioned that they would lend us boots, so I wore jeans, but since we went deeper into the mountains and encountered plants, it’s best to go fully prepared if you're concerned. 見つける度にテンションが上がって行きました。

見つけるたびに触れるものは触らせてくれたり、嬉しかったのが写真を写してくれた事です。
自分では夜だし、動くし難しいところを綺麗に写してくれて、家族全員でも写してくれて送ってくれました。
ツアコンの方は一緒に楽しんでくれてる感じで親しみがわき、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
お土産のアドバイスももらって、翌日その通りお土産も買いに行きました（笑）
長靴は貸してくれるとの事でジーンズでは行きましたが、想像以上に山中に入って植物などに当たったりもするので気になる場合は完全防備で行きましょう。

It was a bit chilly, with light rain and strong winds. I was a little worried if the activity would take place in such weather, but it started on time. The excitement of walking and swimming in the sea and entering the cave was incredible! Once inside, it was fun to experience the extraordinary by climbing and jumping around! After exiting the cave, we drove to the snorkeling point. It was at Shigira Beach, but there was a prior announcement that the current was strong and we might not see any sea turtles today. I was feeling cold and tired and thought I wanted to get out of the water during snorkeling when we spotted a turtle! I applaud our guide's perseverance! I was very satisfied to take pictures with clownfish and sea turtles. Thank you very much!

Even now, when I think back to the scenery I saw that day, I feel like I could cry from the emotion. This is the first destination that has moved my heart so much. I had been curious about cave exploration for a long time. Since I came to Miyako Island, I definitely wanted to go, so I signed up. I received a message about the meeting time around noon the day before. On the day of the tour, we gathered at PiPi's parking lot at 10:30 AM. Due to COVID-19 prevention measures, there were no changing rooms, so I wore clothes that could get wet. Upon arrival, we were provided with wetsuits and shoes to wear over our swimsuits. We left all our belongings in the car, handed over the keys, and set off!

We descended towards the sea, walked along the sandy beach, and then proceeded into the water. The depth was generally shallow enough to stand, and since we were wearing life jackets, there were no issues. However, the waves made it quite challenging. This tour is said to be the hardest among PiPi's offerings. We were also instructed to avoid stepping on the coral, which made navigating a bit difficult.

After about 30 to 40 minutes, we finally saw the entrance to the cave. It seems that during high tide, the entrance disappears, and the timing varies by day. Therefore, PiPi only conducts this tour once a day, and the meeting time changes depending on the day. While some individuals may come on their own, I believe it's much safer to go with a tour.

Finally, we entered the cave. It was dark inside, and we progressed with our lights. There were many points of interest inside the cave, and our guide provided thorough explanations. It was more spacious than I expected, with areas accessible only to those with permission, creating a very mystical atmosphere! We did mud packs and took lots of photos... and at the end, we dove into the sea from a pumpkin! (If you're scared, you can descend from the side instead. I'm fine with heights, so I happily jumped, but everyone else got excited and ended up diving too.)

We returned the way we came, and we arrived back at PiPi's parking lot right at 1 PM. After returning the wetsuits (we received water to wash off the sand), we dispersed. Since we were wet, I laid down garbage bags and towels in the car to avoid getting it wet on the way back.

It was physically demanding, but it was even more fun! When I participated, there were people of various ages, and the guide was attentive, so I recommend joining without hesitation!

海の方まで降りていき、砂浜を歩き、その後、海の中を進んでいきます。基本的に足が着く深さで、ライフジャケットも着ているので問題なしです。が、波もあり、とてもハードでした。このツアーはPiPiさんのツアーの中で一番ハードだそう。あとは、サンゴを踏まないようにとアナウンスがあり、避けながら進むのが結構大変でした。
30〜40分ほど経ったところでようやく洞窟の入口が見えます。満潮の時は洞窟の入口がなくなってしまうそうで、日によって時間が違うのだとか。なので、PiPiさんではこのツアーは1日1回しかやっておられず、集合時間も日よって違うそうです。個人でいらっしゃる方もいるようですが、安全のため、絶対にツアーで行った方が良いと思いました。
いよいよ洞窟の中へ。洞窟の中は暗く、ライトで照らして進みます。洞窟の中は色んな見るべきポイントがあり、ガイドさんが丁寧に説明してくださいます。思ったより広く、許可された方のみ入れる場所等もあり、とても神秘的な空間でした！泥パックをしたり、写真をたくさんとっていただいたり、、、最後はパンプキンの上から海へダイブ！(怖ければダイブせずに横から降りていけます。私は高いところが平気なタイプなので喜んで飛び降りましたが、皆さんテンションが上がって、最終的にダイブしておられていました(^_^))
来た道を戻って、PiPiさんの駐車場に着いたのはちょうど13時でした。ウエットスーツを返して(砂を落とす水をいただけます)、そのまま解散。
濡れたままになるので、車が濡れないようにゴミ袋やバスタオルをひいて帰りました。
とても体力的には大変でしたが、それ以上に楽しかったです！私が参加した時は色んな年代の方がいらっしゃり、ガイドさんも逐一気にかけてくださるので、迷わずとも参加をオススメします！

We participated as a couple and had a very enjoyable time. Due to the tides, we visited the Pumpkin Cave in the morning and went snorkeling in the afternoon. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour with rich content and great explanations from the guide, and I can definitely recommend it to others!

The most surprising part of the tour was climbing the large cliff inside the Pumpkin Cave. I thought, "Can I really climb this...?" but surprisingly, everyone in our group was able to reach the top with the guide's help, so it might not be as daunting as it looks. The cave was spacious, and we could explore quite a bit, which made it a lot of fun.

In the afternoon, we were able to see sea turtles, various fish, and coral reefs while snorkeling! If you're usually not very active, by the time you come out of the water, you might feel exhausted but pleasantly tired all over. I was a bit worried because the weather was slightly cloudy, but in the end, both the cave visit and snorkeling went smoothly, and I was very satisfied.

Lastly, the guide might announce this in advance, but I think it's a good idea to bring a bath towel. (I bought one at a convenience store the day before.) After the morning activities, there is a car transfer to lunch and the afternoon meeting point, so it's nice to have a towel to dry off and to use in the rental car.

鍾乳洞は中も広くかなり進んでいけるので探検している感じがあってとても楽しかったです。

また午後のシュノーケリングでもウミガメや色々な魚・珊瑚礁を見ることができました！普段運動不足の方であれば、海から出る頃にはバテバテで全身が心地良い疲労感に包まれます。
天候が少し曇っていたこともあり心配しましたが、終わってみれば鍾乳洞・シュノーケリングどちらも問題なく実施でき大変満足できました。

最後に、ガイドさんから事前にアナウンスがあるかもしれませんがバスタオルを用意していくといいと思います。(私は前日にコンビニで買いました)
午前中のアクティビティ終了後に、昼食や午後の集合場所まで車で移動があるので、水を拭いたりレンタカーで下に敷く必要があり、あると安心です。

As the temperature drops significantly in late November, there were concerns about whether we would be able to spot any creatures, including the coconut crab, as their activity slows down. However, we were fortunate to see around three of them. It was also interesting to have explanations about not just the animals but also the plants.

Unfortunately, the stars were completely obscured by clouds, but unlike the urban areas, the island of Kurima is extremely dark, so I can only imagine how amazing the stars would have been if it had been clear. I would love to visit Kurima Island again during a season with better weather.

昼間タコ公園に行かず本番の楽しみに取っていたのですが夜のちょっと不気味なジャングル探検はワクワクドキドキしました。

気温の低下が著しいので１１月下旬でヤシガニはじめ生物の活動が鈍るので発見できるかどうか・・・と心配されましたが、実際３匹前後見られたので良かったです。動物だけでなく植物の解説もあり興味深かったです。

星は生憎の曇りで全く見えませんでしたが来間島自体市街地と違って極端に真っ暗な世界なので、きっと晴れてたら星が凄かっただろうな・・・と思われます。
また天候に恵まれたシーズンに来間島を訪れたいです。

After reading various reviews, I decided to join the Pumpkin Cave tour. We changed into wetsuits at the parking lot and set off on our adventure. We walked underwater for about 30 minutes, being careful not to step on the coral. Once inside, a large pumpkin appeared! It was very mystical. We climbed up to the top of the pumpkin with a rope and proceeded further inside. There is a sacred place where locals pray. We also did a mud pack on our faces. Finally, we dove into the water from the top of the pumpkin! At various points, our guide took many photos for us. It was a very enjoyable experience. Thank you!

今回家族4人での参加でした。天気はあいにくの雨、このツアーに参加した理由の一つの星空鑑賞は到底期待できず、皆ガッカリして集合場所に向かいました。が、そこに現れたのは今回ツアーを案内して頂いたExit兼近似のryuseiさん、暗い雨雲を吹き飛ばすような明るい方でした。出発早々の道すがら、最初に発見したのは道路横断中のカニ、この季節あまり見られないようでテンション少し復活！この勢いで車を降り、長靴に履き替えいよいよジャングルに足を踏み入れました。出発早々遭遇したのはなんとヤシガニ、カネチーも私たちもいきなりテンションMAX、皆でワイワイいいながらの探検となりました。この日見られたのは、カニ、カエル、ヤドカリ多数、女郎蜘蛛、季節外れの蛍まで見られ、今回第二の目的であるヤシガニはなんと4匹も遭遇することができました。帰りの道中で八重山フクロウも見られ、この季節ではまず見られない生き物の数々のようで、星空が見られない分をカバーして有り余る成果でした。所々で記念撮影もして頂き、石垣島最高の思い出になりました。みなさん、是非参加をおすすめします。

Two of us used the service in November!

鍾乳洞の入り口は意外と狭い。ガイドの人に教えてもらわないと気付かないです。
中に入ると、パンプキンがお出迎え！
パンプキンも入り口にいたる岩肌も、色合いや形が簡単に言うとディズニーのようです。
見てみたらきっと「わかる！」と感じると思います。

パンプキンを見つけたら終わりかというとそうではなく、
鍾乳洞の奥へ…。
ガイドさんが成り立ちや見どころを教えてくれるので全くあきません。
1時間半ほどのツアーでしたが、あっという間です！
ぜひぜひ参加することをおすすめします！

利用する人にアドバイスするとしたら、
ゴーグルがあるとより楽しいと思います！
たまたまもってきていたので、魚や足のつかない海を見ることができました。

鍾乳洞を出てから陸へ戻るときは結構疲れました。

バスツアーというと美ら海水族館がメインのものが多く、他のはないかと探していて見つけました。
初のところばかりで、どこも楽しかったです。
盛りだくさんなため、多少1か所の滞在が短かったのが残念ですが、ランチも美味しく、いただいたお土産もとても美味しかったです。
道の駅にも寄れて、地元のおみやげも買うことができました。（国際通りでは買えないものばかり）
ガイドさんがいろいろおすすめを教えてくださり、とても参考になりました。
シークヮーサー酢おいしいです。飲みながら沖縄を思い出します。
運転手さんもとても良い方で、運転も丁寧で安心でした。
夫婦とも運転はしますが、慣れない土地ではゆっくり景色を楽しみたいので、本当に参加してよかったです。
また参加したいと思うくらいです。
