At Pineapple Park, we were thrilled by the parade of our favorite dinosaurs, and at the Churaumi Aquarium, we were amazed by the giant whale sharks and rays! We had the experience of mangroves, water buffalo, and the traditional streets of Taketomi Island. I thought it would be nice to experience it slowly during a cooler time rather than in the peak of summer. If I have the time, I would like to experience it again during a cooler season.

The ferry from Ishigaki Island is very rocky, so those who are prone to motion sickness definitely need to take anti-nausea medication! After arriving at Taketomi Island, I took a bus to the city center, but it was unfortunate that the departure was delayed because we were waiting for the next ferry. This reduced our sightseeing time on Taketomi Island.

The breeze during the mangrove tour was pleasant, and traveling by water buffalo was enjoyable. There were two participants from our group, but for some reason, the others were all part of a tour group, leading to an early departure for the ferry and other activities.
