I was worried about the mangrove canoe tour in the light rain, but it was actually the best!
Even though it was July, it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the river flow was gentle, allowing us to enjoy canoeing very comfortably.
During the bus ride and throughout the tour, our guides Yume and Yumi taught us a lot about Iriomote Island, mangroves, and the creatures that inhabit the area, which was very educational!
Both adults and elementary school children were extremely satisfied.

小雨の中でのマングローブカヌーツアーで心配していましたが、むしろ最高でした！
７月なのに暑くなく寒くなく、川の流れも穏やかで、とても快適にカヌーを楽しむことができました。
バスの中やツアー中は、ガイドのゆめさんとゆみさんが西表島のこと、マングローブのこと、生息している生き物のこと等色々教えてくれて非常に勉強になりました！

The weather was nice, and I was able to forget about my everyday life and enjoy myself. Everything was new for the children, making it a wonderful experience for them as well. The tour staff from pipi were very kind and cheerful, and I had a great time. This is my second time using Beltora, following Ishigaki. Just like last time, the staff took safety into consideration, allowing me to enjoy the activities with peace of mind. Although I didn't see any sea turtles, it was a fulfilling experience. The photos sent in the evening became great memories.

I participated with three friends for our first snorkeling experience. We were considering traveling to Iriomote Island as a family, but since my elderly mother was with us, we decided to join a tour. The staff member who came to pick us up at the hotel had a wonderful smile that left a lasting impression, and I was moved to see that they also handled the boat operations. I'm sure all the staff are well-rounded individuals. They worked efficiently and responsibly. The explanations from the tour guide on the Nakama River were very easy to understand, and the time spent riding the water buffalo to Yubu Island calmed my usually restless heart. On the return boat, the splashes of water felt refreshing, making it a unique experience especially during the hot season. Thanks to participating in this tour, we were able to spend a happy time. 西表島へは家族で行動しようと考えていたのですが、高齢の母が一緒だったこともありツアーに参加することにしました。ホテルまでお迎えに来てくださったスタッフの方の素敵な笑顔が印象的で、その方が船の業務もこなしているのを見て感動しました。きっとどのスタッフの方もオールラウンダーなのでしょう。テキパキと責任を持って働いていらっしゃいました。仲間川ではツアーガイドをされている方の説明も非常にわかりやすく、水牛に乗って由布島へ行く時間は日頃の荒ぶった心を穏やかにしてくれました。帰りのボートでは水飛沫がとても気持ちよく暑い時期だからこその体験が出来ました。このツアーに参加できたおかげで幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。またこのツアーで石垣島、西表島、由布島へ行きたいと思います。

In the morning, I enjoyed a relaxing stand-up paddleboarding session, and in the afternoon, I had a great time snorkeling in the cove. Both activities lasted about one to one and a half hours.
Although I had experience with both, I felt a bit anxious since it had been a while, but I received thorough instructions and was able to enjoy the experience. It was fine not to stand up on the paddleboard (I mostly sat), and if I felt uneasy while snorkeling, I could hold onto a float, so I think even beginners can enjoy it with confidence. The guides were very friendly and engaged in conversation, making the experience even more enjoyable.

I have been to Ishigaki Island several times, but it was my first time visiting the Blue Cave!
After passing through a jungle surrounded by trees, a space like a private beach opened up, and we entered the sea from there.
We went out to the open sea through a trench, which was also quite interesting. I even got to see clownfish! 🐟
Just floating around is fun, so I recommend it even for beginners!

木々に囲まれたジャングルを抜けるとプライベートビーチのような空間が広がっており、そこから海に入りました。

I participated in a company trip with my senior colleagues, and it was a memorable experience. The path to the meeting place was dark, which made me really anxious, but once we arrived, I was overwhelmed by the beautiful starry sky that I had never seen before. The photos taken against that stunning starry backdrop were exceptionally wonderful and truly moving!
During the photo session, the appropriate prompts helped me feel relaxed and natural, so I could enjoy the moment without feeling tense.
I gave it four stars because the seating during the shoot was on a rock, which made my backside a bit sore. If I had received advice beforehand, I could have brought something to sit on. However, in terms of feelings, it’s definitely five stars. The starry sky was incredibly beautiful… it became a lifelong memory.

集合場所への道のりは暗くてすごく不安になりましたが、いざ着いてみると初めて目にする美しい満点の星空に圧倒されました。

星4つにしたのは、撮影時に座る場所が岩の上でちょっとお尻が痛かったので、事前にアドバイスをいただけたらお尻の下に引く物を持ってこれたなぁと思って4にしました。でも気持ちの上では星5です。本当に綺麗な星空で…一生の思い出になりました。

I had been wanting to try sunrise SUP, so I made a reservation with great enthusiasm. I was surprised by the 4:30 AM meeting time, but paddling in the quiet mangroves early in the morning felt wonderful. I could clearly hear the chirping of birds and the calls of peacocks, and time flowed leisurely. The conversations with the guide were enjoyable, and we talked about various topics! Due to the environment and climate, we couldn't see the sunrise itself, but the morning glow was very beautiful! The snorkeling was also fantastic, with great weather and clear waters. During the snorkeling tour, we walked through the forest for a few minutes to reach the beach. After a brief explanation of how to use the snorkel and fins, we went snorkeling. Although the chances of encountering sea turtles or sea snakes seemed low, we were able to see corals and colorful fish, making it a great experience. Even those who are not good at swimming can enjoy it with the help of floats and the guide.
For the mangrove tour, we chose to go by canoe. It seemed that people on stand-up paddleboards (SUP) were also participating in the tour alongside us. After a brief lesson on how to paddle at the riverbank, we boarded the boat and started the tour.

シュノーケリングツアーでは、徒歩数分の森を抜けて浜辺へ向かいました。
シュノーケルやフィンの使い方について簡単に説明があった後にシュノーケリングを行いました。
ウミガメやウミヘビに遭遇する確率は低いようで今回のツアーで見ることはできませんでしたがサンゴや色とりどりの魚は見ることができて良い体験になりました。
泳ぎの苦手な人でも浮きとガイドさんのアシストがあるので楽しめると思います。
マングローブツアーではカヌーを選択しました。supの人も同時にツアーを行うようで自分たちの他にはsupの方もいました。
川岸でオールの漕ぎ方について簡単な講習を受けたあとに船に乗り込みツアー開始でした。
