We will pick you up from your accommodation or Uehara Port.
*If the Uehara route is canceled, we will pick you up at Ohara Port.
*Guests staying in Sonai, Kanpira, or Shirahama areas are requested to come by bus or rental car.

Once you're ready, the guide will begin the briefing. Be sure to listen carefully for a safe and enjoyable experience!

From here, we’ll trek toward the waterfall. Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by impressive tropical plants, offering plenty to see and admire. Enjoy the beauty of nature as you make your way forward! ♪

In this cooler season, take a cozy break at the "waterfall café" and relax. For those feeling adventurous, water play is, of course, welcome too!

After plenty of fun at the waterfall, enjoy a leisurely trek and canoe ride back. Take in the different scenery on the return journey and savor a relaxing time surrounded by nature!

- For young children in lower elementary school and participants aged 55 to 65, we will conduct a fitness check at the time of application.
- 〇 About the Limestone Cave 〇
Although you will be equipped with a headlight, there are dark and narrow areas inside the cave. Therefore, it is not recommended for those with a fear of darkness or claustrophobia.
- ■Winter Season (Mid-October to Late March)
●Upper Body
Wear a long-sleeve rash guard or HeatTech as a base layer, with a lightweight T-shirt on top. Bring nylon outerwear or rainwear for warmth.
●Lower Body
Wear long leggings or HeatTech under half-pants or swimwear for mobility and warmth. Lightweight outdoor pants are also recommended. - ■Summer Season (April to Mid-October)
●Upper Body
Wear a long-sleeve rash guard or quick-drying sportswear as a base layer, with a short-sleeve T-shirt on top. Alternatively, a lightweight long-sleeve T-shirt alone is fine.
●Lower Body
Wear long leggings or spats under half-pants or swimwear. Alternatively, lightweight, quick-drying outdoor pants are recommended. - Other personal items (such as tissues, etc.)

- Please wear swimwear as your lower body may get wet for various reasons, such as walking in the river or rain. Thick clothing, such as jeans, chinos, or sweatpants, is unsuitable throughout the year, so please avoid wearing them as much as possible.
- There are no toilets in the field, so having tissues and a trash bag will give you peace of mind.
- In case of rain, the tour may be canceled or changed to a half-day tour. Please note that changes may also occur due to weather conditions from the previous day.
- We strive to contact you by 8:00 PM the day before. If you do not hear from us, please kindly reach out to us directly.

■ For Guests Staying on Iriomote Island
Our staff at Karakaze will pick you up from your accommodation (service available from Toyohara to Urauchi settlements).
Pick-up times vary depending on your accommodation location, and we will contact you the day before to confirm the time.
After the tour, we will drop you off at your accommodation on Iriomote Island or at the port. - ※ Pick-up and drop-off services are unavailable for Shirahama, Hoshidate, and Sonai areas.
Guests staying in these areas must meet at Uehara Port, accessible via shuttle bus, local bus, or rental car.
◎ Uehara Port Meeting Time: 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM - ◎ Ōhara Area
Summer (July–Sept): 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
Winter (Oct–June): 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM
◎ Takana Area (Eco Village Iriomote, Painu Maya Resort)

Winter (Oct–June): 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM - ■ For Guests Joining the Tour from Ishigaki Island
◎ Departure will be from the Ishigaki Island Remote Island Terminal.
The day before the tour, we will contact you by phone to inform you of the port (Ōhara Port or Uehara Port) and the ferry departure time. Please note this in advance.
The scheduled ferry departure times are as follows:
Summer (July 1 – September 30): 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
Winter (October 1 – June 30): 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM - ■ For customers joining the tour from Taketomi Island or Kohama Island:
Guests staying on Taketomi Island or Kohama Island are required to travel via Ishigaki Island.
The journey to Iriomote Island is as follows:
Take the first ferry from your respective island to Ishigaki Island.
Upon arrival at Ishigaki Island, board the ferry departing at 8:30 AM for either Ōhara Port or Uehara Port. - Personal belongings are not covered by insurance.
*While waterproof bags are provided, please take full responsibility to prevent submersion or loss. - The mangrove canoe course in the morning cannot be specified. The guide will choose from the options of the Kura River,Maera River, Pinaisara Falls, or Sangara Falls.
