Forest hiking

Arrive at the viewing spot. After sunset, the number of fireflies gradually increases, creating a magical “carpet of light” for about 30 minutes.

- For safety reasons, the following guests cannot participate:
Pregnant individuals
Those who have consumed alcohol or have a hangover
Those with heart, respiratory, mental, or other serious medical conditions
Participants with hearing or visual impairments traveling alone (must be accompanied by a helper or interpreter) - Junior high school students and above will be charged the adult rate.
- For guests with small children, strollers are not permitted. Although the path is paved with asphalt, there are some uneven sections, so please use a baby carrier or similar.
Additional notes
- Please note that cancellation fees will apply for cancellations due to personal reasons or changes in the number of participants without prior notice.
No cancellation fee will be charged if you are unable to reach Iriomote Island due to ferry cancellations, or if the tour is canceled due to typhoons or bad weather.

We regret that no alternative plan is available, and the tour will be canceled. - The tour will proceed in light rain; however, it may be canceled in the event of heavy rain.
- Pickup service is available only for accommodations between Uehara and Sonai.
- The peak season is usually in early April; however, as these are living creatures, they may not appear depending on weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
- Fireflies are sensitive to light, so please refrain from photography and using flashlights. Insect repellent sprays are also not permitted.
- The guide will assist using a translation app.
