I participated in a mangrove kayak tour and a visit to Yubu Island!
The mangroves were surrounded by trees on both sides, making the waterways narrow, which gave a thrilling sense of adventure and was really enjoyable.
I got stuck in the mangroves a few times, but our guide, Rui, kindly helped me out and provided just the right amount of advice.
The visit to Yubu Island was great because we got to ride water buffalo to the island, which is an experience you don't usually get.
I had a fun day overall. Thank you!

マングローブは左右が木に囲まれて水路が狭く、冒険をしている感じでスリルがあり楽しめました。

I wanted to experience snorkeling in the morning when the waves were calm, but it was scheduled for the afternoon. The waves were high in the afternoon, and my child was scared, so we couldn't do it well. Other participants also mentioned that the waves were calm in the morning. The guide for the Pisainara Falls also felt rushed, which was disappointing.

The first thing that caught my eye was the strong mangrove forest with its deeply rooted trees. The countless roots stretching out from the mud looked like living sculptures, and I felt the resilience of nature. As I paddled along the water's surface, branches and leaves spread out on both sides, making it feel like I was rowing through a green tunnel. The breeze was gentle, and every time I looked up at the sky, the bright blue and white clouds were stunning.
The guide was really kind, and their explanations were clear and interesting! They talked about the nature and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way, providing not just beautiful scenery but also plenty of learning opportunities. I felt a sense of security, which allowed me to relax and enjoy canoeing even as a first-timer.
As I glided over the calm water, I was enveloped in a feeling of "time flowing slowly," something I can't experience in my daily life, and I felt truly refreshed. Being healed by the energy of nature and encountering views that can only be seen here was a truly special experience.
The great nature of Iriomote Island was amazing! I want to go again! ^_^
最初に目に飛び込んできたのは、力強く根を張ったマングローブの森。泥の中から無数に伸びる根っこはまるで生きている彫刻みたいで、自然のたくましさを感じました。水面を進んでいくと、両脇から覆いかぶさるように枝葉が広がって、まるで緑のトンネルの中を漕いでいるみたい。風も穏やかで、時々空を見上げると真っ青な空と白い雲が映えて最高でした。
ガイドさんも本当に親切で、説明が分かりやすくておもしろい！西表島の自然や生き物のことを楽しく話してくれて、景色だけじゃなく学びもいっぱいありました。安心感もあって、初めてでもリラックスしてカヌーを楽しめました。
静かな水面をすべるように進んでいくと、普段の生活では味わえない“時間がゆっくり流れる感覚”に包まれて、心からリフレッシュできました。自然のエネルギーに癒されながら、ここでしか見られない景色に出会えたのは本当に特別な体験。

I was able to go to Barasu Island, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was deeply moved! Initially, the plan was to land by boat, but I received a call the day before saying that due to the tides, we couldn't land by boat and had to choose between snorkeling to get there or giving up on Barasu Island and going to Yufu Island instead (there was originally a note about the possibility of changing the tour).
Since I have children and had never been to a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, I was anxious about snorkeling, but our guide, Toshi, kindly explained everything over the phone, which I really appreciated. In the end, I was glad I chose snorkeling. I got to see a lot of fish in the beautiful sea, and I was able to go to Barasu Island as well.
The mangrove canoeing was also fun, as we could all ride together as a family of five, and it felt like an adventure. I would like to join Toshi's tour again next time!

当初は船で上陸するプランでしたが、前日に電話があり潮の関係で船では上陸できず途中からシュノーケリングで向かうか、バラス島は諦めて由布島に行くか選んでくださいとのことでした（ツアー変更の可能性については元々記載がありました）

I participated in a morning mangrove canoe activity. We were transported by bus from the port to the mangroves, and the explanations were thorough and easy to understand, allowing us to fully enjoy the activity! There were multiple groups participating, but three instructors were present, ensuring we had plenty of fun. I participated in the tour in the afternoon. Since it was low tide, the roots of the mangroves were exposed, and it was fun to paddle through them. I participated alone! It was a beautiful place rich in nature⭐︎ In the morning, the cows on Yufujima were adorable. In the afternoon, I went on a canoe mangrove cruise. I joined Team Seki, and when I asked them questions about the mangroves and the creatures, they provided many interesting answers! There were also families from overseas participating, and it was impressive how they explained everything in English! Even though I was alone, I was well taken care of and had a great time‼︎ I highly recommend this activity!

Yubu Island had a short and hectic impression with only one hour for sightseeing, but I was satisfied to cross by water buffalo cart. I was able to experience snorkeling at Barasu Island and another spot, making it a great experience. The meeting point was close to where we boarded the boat, and the snorkeling spots were also nearby, which was nice. Our guide, Abe-chan, took many beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied.

シュノーケルはバラス島ともう1ポイント2ヵ所で体験出来ました。
集合場所から船に乗るまでも近く、ポイント同士も近かったので良かったです。
担当ガイドのあべちゃんが綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ってくれて大満足でした。

During the busy Obon holiday period, we took the Yufuin Water Buffalo Cart Tour in the morning and the Canoe Mangrove Tour in the afternoon. Although our family isn't particularly athletic, they taught us the proper techniques for paddling a canoe, and we were able to manage it well. During the canoe tour, I brought my smartphone in a waterproof case, but I might not have needed it since our guide, Matsuko, took photos and videos for us. We chose to go canoeing with two adults, a middle school student, and an elementary school student. We proceeded with two two-person canoes. Since the water level was high, we were able to paddle deep into the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. It seems that when the water level is low, you can get out of the canoe and walk. Our time on Yubu Island flew by as we strolled and enjoyed gelato.

We participated as two families. It was our first time canoeing, and it was a valuable experience to feel the power of the magnificent mangrove nature. Thank you very much for this experience. I was completely satisfied with the day, enjoying the Pinai Sara Falls in the morning and snorkeling along with the mountains and sea of Iriomote Island in the afternoon. Additionally, I was fortunate to have a great guide, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the activities.
I have done snorkeling at over ten spots in Okinawa, but the coral in Iriomote was the best of all. I was also able to swim with sea turtles.
I definitely want to visit Iriomote Island again.

We had a canoe experience as a family of three. The guide, Mr. Seki, provided clear explanations and communicated with all participants, which made us feel at ease throughout the experience. We learned a lot about Iriomote Island and the ecology of the mangroves.
They provided both a small paddle for our 8-year-old daughter and an adult-sized paddle, but she persevered and paddled with the adult paddle until the end. It was also very enjoyable to get out of the canoe to see the mangroves up close and touch the creatures living there.
Although it was our first canoe experience, it became a precious opportunity to feel the nature of Iriomote Island, and we created wonderful memories.

ガイドの関さんの説明がわかりやすく、また、参加者全員とコミュニケーションを取りながら進めてくださったので、終始安心して参加することがでしましたし、西表島のことやマングローブの生態のことなど色々と知ることができました。
８歳の娘には子供用の小さいパドルと大人と同じパドル両方貸してくださいましたが、最後まで大人と同じパドルで頑張って漕いでいました。
途中カヌーをおりてマングローブを近くで見たり、そこにすむ生き物に触れたりしたこともとても楽しかったです。
初めてのカヌー体験でしたが、西表島の自然を感じられるとても貴重な体験になり、いい思い出ができました。

I went on a tour with Yufu Island and kayaking! Yufu Island had more attractions than I expected, and there were many photo spots to enjoy! I learned a lot about the mangroves while kayaking! I was looking forward to snorkeling. I was taken to a spot that was even more beautiful than I expected, and I was very satisfied✨️
Our guide, Yume, was also very attentive and kind.
This time, I went snorkeling in Ibaraki Island and diving in Ishigaki Island, but I loved Ibaraki Island the most～✨ The sea and the staff were both amazing✨️
So, I thought I would like to stay in Ibaraki Island for a few days next time. I want to try various activities again. (I liked Ibaraki Island more than Ishigaki Island😁)

Although my plans were slightly disrupted due to a canceled flight, I made my first visit to Iriomote Island. Since I was in Iriomote, I thought I should go on an adventure and decided to try canoeing. Fortunately, the weather improved. I was a bit anxious because I had children with me, but thanks to J's explanations, guidance, and assistance, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The kids seemed to have made great memories and want to go again tomorrow! Thank you for the great experience!

I thought the event would be canceled due to the rain, but I was guided to the best spots for coral and fish. It was my first time seeing turtles eating and swimming up close like that. Since it was drizzling, it wasn't too hot, but it would have been nice to have warm drinks on the boat (it was quite cold). The staff were very kind, and I had a great time.
