Thanks to our guide, who is well-versed in birds and moss, we had a fun and educational time! One of my companions injured their foot just before the trip, so we couldn't make it to the top of Pinai Sara Falls, but the tour was flexibly adjusted. Since the guide knows Iriomote Island so well, we were completely satisfied with the changes. I am very grateful.

Although it rained, the plants were vibrant, allowing us to truly feel the great outdoors. The lemon pound cake we had at Kura Falls and the coffee made from freshly ground beans that morning were delicious.

I definitely want to participate again! Thank you very much.

I originally planned to book only the morning canyoning, but with the guide's advice, I quickly added the afternoon trip to Yufu Island.

In the end, it was a great decision. I was able to enjoy a completely different atmosphere compared to other remote islands.

As for the canyoning, I had a fantastic time with a bright and friendly guide. Jumping into the river was certainly fun, but the information about the plants and animals along the way was also very enriching, making it a highly satisfying tour. Thank you for the thorough explanations and the cool demonstrations.

Next time I come to Yaeyama, I definitely want to request activities here again.

元々午前のキャニオニングだけのつもりで予約しておりましたが、ガイドさんの助言もあって急遽午後の由布島も追加しました。
結果的には大正解。他の離島とは全く違う雰囲気を楽しむことができました。

肝心のキャニオニングも明るく気さくなガイドさんに連れて行っていただくことができ、大変楽しむことができました。
川への飛び込みももちろん楽しかったのですが、道中の動植物の案内もまた充実しており、満足度の高いツアーでした。

The weather was great, and I saw more fish than ever before! Cute clownfish, large schools of blue fish, and sea snakes. I was able to take many wonderful high-quality photos. Thank you, Ayu, for your cute and cheerful service!

I had a precious experience at a waterfall with mangroves and no fences on the sheer cliffs, which made me feel like I wasn't in Japan at all. This is a tour that I can confidently recommend if you come to Iriomote.

マングローブと柵もない断崖絶壁の滝、とても日本にいるとは思えない貴重な体験ができました。西表に来たら自信を持ってお勧めできるツアーです。

It was our first time canoeing as a family of seven, and although I was a bit anxious, our guide Ayu was cheerful and reliable, which made me feel at ease and allowed us to enjoy ourselves to the fullest! Thank you so much for letting us fully enjoy the wonderful time in Yaeyama!

On May 4, 2024, we participated in a canoe mangrove experience with my son's family, including seven of us in total. We were able to connect with nature and it was very healing!

It was the first experience for the whole family, but the instructor taught us carefully, and we were able to enjoy it.

The guide was very attentive, making for a very pleasant tour. They provided detailed explanations throughout the tour, and we were blessed with good weather to enjoy the stunning views. If given the chance, I would love to participate again.

ガイドの方の細やかな気配りがあり、とても気持ちの良いツアーでした。ツアー中も詳しく説明いただき、天候にも恵まれ絶景を堪能しました。機会があれば、もう一度参加したいです。

In the morning, a shuttle bus from the hotel picked us up, and we spent the morning riding water buffaloes around Yubu Island. We enjoyed a leisurely 15-minute ride in a water buffalo cart while listening to the sounds of the shamisen and singing. After a one-hour lunch break around the port area, we experienced SUP or canoeing in the afternoon. On the calm waters, we were able to enjoy the magnificent mangroves with stable SUP boards, even as beginners. During the transfer, our guide shared various information about Iriomote Island, including the ecosystem and recommended restaurants. Since it was my first time on Iriomote Island, I’m glad I participated in this experience.

午前は水牛に乗って由布島巡り。
三味線の音色と歌声を聴きながら片道15分水牛車でのゆったりとした時間を楽しみました。
港周辺で各自1時間の昼食タイムを挟んだ後
午後からSUPorカヌー体験。
穏やかな水面で、初心者でも安定感のあるSUPで壮大なマングローブを楽しめました。
移動中は西表島についてガイドさんが色々教えてくださり、(生態系やおすすめの飲食店など)初めての西表島だったので、今回参加してよかったです。

This tour is highly recommended for beginners in Iriomote Island! Here are three reasons why:

Below are my experiences, content, and impressions.

I participated in the canyoning and mangrove canoeing tour in Iriomote Island. Initially, I had signed up for snorkeling, but due to unfavorable weather, I switched to canyoning. However, I received careful communication from the day before, which allowed me to discuss with my companions and confidently join the tour. At this point, I felt a sense of trust and reassurance towards the shop.

As for canyoning, the tour involved heading towards the waterfalls of Iriomote Island while navigating through the woods and down the river. There were moments where we jumped at the guide's encouragement, making it an exciting experience throughout. My companions were initially anxious as they had never participated in canyoning before, but by the end, they were completely satisfied, saying, "I want to do this again." Most importantly, the guide clearly communicated any dangerous spots and precautions in advance, allowing us to participate in the tour with peace of mind.

Regarding the mangrove canoeing, after navigating through the mangroves by canoe, we walked and received various explanations. The guide provided detailed information about the plants and creatures around the mangroves, allowing us to learn about the ecosystem. I was amazed at how much the guide knew about the growth of plants, how to plant seeds, and the characteristics of different organisms. We encountered a downpour along the way, but it was the first time as an adult that I felt such refreshing rain.

Throughout the tour, the guide was attentive to the participants, making it an enjoyable experience. The lunch spot they recommended was delicious and fantastic. Next time, I definitely want to join the snorkeling tour!

以下参加経緯と内容、感想です。

西表島のキャニオニング&マングローブカヌーのツアーに参加しました。
始めはシュノーケリングに申し込んでいましたが天候に恵まれずキャニオニングに変更に…ただ前日から丁寧に連絡をいただけたこともあり同行者としっかり相談してツアーに参加することができました。
この時点でお店に対する信頼感、安心感がありました。

キャニオニングですが、西表島の滝を目指して林間を抜けて川をくだるという内容でした。
途中途中でガイドさんからの掛け声でジャンプしたりと終始盛り上がる内容でした。
同行者も初めはキャニオニングに参加したことがなく不安がっていましたが、最後には「またやりたいね」と大満足の内容でした。
何より危険な場所や注意点を事前にはっきりと伝えていただけたので、安心してツアーに参加することができました。

マングローブカヌーですが、マングローブの中をカヌーで抜けた後、歩いて様々な説明をしていただきました。
マングローブ周りの植物や生物について詳細に教えていただき、生態について学ぶことができました。
植物の育ち方や、種子の植え方、生物の特徴などよくこんなに知っているなと思うほどガイドさんが教えてくれます。
途中でスコールにも見舞われましたが、大人になってからこんなに気持ちいいと思った雨は後にも先にもあれが初めてです。

終始ガイドさんは参加者への気配りを欠かさずに行ってくれており楽しく参加できました。
教えてくれたお昼ご飯のお店も美味しくて最高でした。
次回は今度こそシュノーケリングのツアーに参加したいと思います。

Not only did we enjoy river play, but we also had a lot of fun talking about various creatures and the nature of Iriomote Island. It was great that they caught a lizard for us.

The water buffalo cart on Yufu Island was also very soothing!

川遊びだけでなく、様々な生き物のこと、西表島の自然のことなど色んな話をしてくれて、とても楽しかったです。

All three activities were fulfilling. It's also nice to be able to chat with other participants and the charming owner while waiting back at the shop!

3つのアクティビティ全て充実の内容でした。ショップに戻って待ち時間に他の参加者やイケオジオーナーと談笑出来るのもいいですよ！

It was a tour that left both my husband and me completely satisfied. The main guide, I, had exceptional knowledge, explanations, and consideration (the assistant, Y, also did a great job).

We participated with another couple (who were beginners at canoeing) and my husband (who had one previous canoe experience), and thanks to I's guidance and entertaining stories, we enjoyed the round trip of 40 minutes each way at a perfect pace.

The trekking to the waterfall was safe due to the provided water shoes and timely reminders, and the explanations about the jungle were very informative.

The lunch of rice balls and fried chicken was truly delicious. The rice balls were made with local rice and were extra large, but I ended up eating two of them without hesitation.

The other couple seemed to join the snorkeling afterward (since it was a full-day course), but for us, who were tired in the latter part of our trip (in our 50s and 60s), the half-day course was just right (laughs).

Lastly, the owner who drove us back to our accommodation (a charming older gentleman) was enjoyable to talk to. Thank you very much to everyone at Iriomote Monsoon!

P.S. During canoeing, the UV rays are strong and you get thirsty, so hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc., are essential, along with one bottle of water per person. If you want to soak in the waterfall pool, wear a swimsuit underneath. As for cameras, you can take photos with your phone (they provide waterproof bags for carrying), but the guide will also take pictures with their camera and provide the data for free later.

夫婦揃って大満足のツアーでした。メインガイドのIさんの豊富な知識、説明、気遣いなどが秀逸でした（アシスタントのYさんも頑張っていた）。

他１組のご夫婦（カヌー初心者）と私と夫（カヌー体験1回）の4人で参加しましたが、Iさんのご指導と楽しいお話のおかげで、往復各４０分を楽しく、また丁度いいペースで進めました。

滝までのトレッキングも沢シューズを貸してもらっていたことと、タイミング良い注意喚起などで、安全に行え、ジャングルの説明も非常に勉強になりました。

お昼のおにぎりと唐揚げも本当に美味しかったです。おにぎりはご当地のお米だそうで、特大だったのですが、2個ペロッと食べてしまいました。

もう１組のご夫婦は、（1日コースということで）その後のシュノーケリングも参加されたようですが、旅の後半で疲労が溜まっていた私達夫婦（50代と60代）には、半日コースが丁度良かったです（笑）。

最後に宿まで送ってくれたオーナーさん（イケオジです）の話も楽しかったです。西表モンスーン社の方々、本当にどうもありがとうございました！

追伸：（カヌー中は）紫外線が強く喉が乾くので、帽子やサングラス、日焼け止め等は必須、それに一人１本のボトルウォーター。滝つぼに浸かりたい人は、中に水着を着ていきましょう。カメラについては、携帯（防水バッグを貸してくれるので持ち運びできる）で写真を撮ることも可能ですが、ガイドさんが自分のカメラで撮ってくれて、後で無償でデータをくれます。

In the morning, I participated in a mangrove canoe tour, and in the afternoon, I joined a cart tour on Yufu Island. The canoeing was easier than I expected, and the scenery of the mangroves was very beautiful. Entering the mangrove forest by canoe felt extraordinary and had a mystical atmosphere. Throughout the canoeing, the guide was always smiling and provided various explanations, making it the best experience. They also sent me high-quality photos taken with a GoPro, which was great.

The water buffalo on the cart tour was just adorable. Although the ferry from Uehara Port was canceled, they kindly transported us to Ohara Port after the activity.

*Points of concern:*
For lunch, options for dining near Uehara Port were presented, and we were taken to our chosen place. However, we had to walk back to the meeting point at Uehara Port (if there was an afternoon activity). It was about a 5-minute walk, but it was inconvenient due to the rain. While the details on Veltra mentioned "transport to the lunch area," there was no mention of the return arrangement. I honestly did not expect to walk back, and I hadn't prepared rain gear. It would have been helpful if it had been clearly stated that "the return would be on foot."

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with a friendly atmosphere. Even considering the point mentioned above, I would rate it a perfect score. Thank you.

午前マングローブカヌー、午後は由布島の牛車ツアーに参加しました。
カヌーは思ったより漕ぎやすく、マングローブの風景はとても美しかったです。カヌーでマングローブ林に入っていくのは、非日常的で、神秘的な雰囲気でした。カヌー中も始終笑顔で色々と説明をしてくれて、最高の体験となりました。GoProで撮った写真も高画質で送ってくれて、良かったです。
牛車はとにかく水牛が可愛かったです。上原港のフェリーが欠航になったのですが、アクティビティ後に代わりの大原港まで送ってくれました。

※気になった点
お昼ご飯は、上原港近くの食事処の選択肢が提示され、希望したところに送ってくれました。ただ、（午後のアクティビティがある場合は）集合場所の上原港に徒歩で移動でした。徒歩5分ほどでしたが、雨天でしたので面倒でした。
確かに、veltraの詳細には"昼食エリアに送る"とは書いてあるもののお迎えについての記載はありませんでした。ただ、流石にこのパターン（帰りは徒歩）は想像しておらず、雨具の用意をしておりませんでした。"帰りは徒歩であること"を明記しておいてもらえると良かったです。

全体として和やかな雰囲気で、たいへん素敵な体験となりました。上記の1点を考慮しても満点です。ありがとうございます。

I participated in a mangrove canoe and Pinaisara Falls tour on Iriomote Island for the first time!
Canoeing under the blue sky was incredibly refreshing!
At Pinaisara Falls, with its impressive drop, I had a blast swimming in the plunge pool.
On the hiking trail, I encountered a habu snake and saw many plants and animals I had never seen before, which was very fascinating.

After the falls, I experienced the mysteries of nature further with a limestone cave exploration tour.
We started from a spot by the road that made me think, "Wait, from here?"
We crouched down to pass through the cave while getting wet, and at one point, we turned off our lights to experience complete darkness. There were also many strange bugs, and we looked for footprints of wildcats and boars. It was full of experiences you can't find in tourist caves.

Overall, it was a day packed with the essence of Iriomote! Thank you to our guide for the wonderful day.

滝の後は鍾乳洞探検ツアーでさらに大自然の神秘を体験。
道路の脇の、え？こんな所から？って場所からスタート。
洞内を小さくしゃがんで水に浸かりながらくぐり抜けたり、途中でライトを消して真っ暗闇にしてみたり。へんな虫もたくさんいたし、ヤマネコやイノシシの足跡を探したり。観光鍾乳洞では味わえないことだらけ。

総じて西表っぽさ盛りだくさんの一日でした(^^)

I entered a tributary from Nakama River and paddled for about two hours. Along the way, I was very satisfied to encounter crabs, gobies, and the dappled sunlight filtering through the mangrove forest. Our guide, John, was also very helpful.

仲間川から支流に入り、２時間ほど漕ぎました。途中、カニやハゼ、マングローブ林の木漏れ日に会えて大満足。ガイドのジョンさんのガイドも親切でした。

The day before, I went kayaking, so this time I experienced mangrove SUP! The wind was a bit strong, but our guide, Yuma, taught us carefully, so I was able to paddle somehow! Once we entered the mangroves, the wind disappeared, and I had the leisure to look around slowly, which was nice. I had never seen mangroves up close like that, so I’m really glad I went! I was also able to touch crabs and big hermit crabs! I visited Yubu Island for the first time in the afternoon, and it felt like walking in a real jungle! The gelato was delicious too! The water buffalo were cute and smart, and I was able to take photos, making it a very satisfying tour!

前の日にカヤックをしてたので、今回はマングローブSUPを体験しました！
風が少し強めでしたが、ガイドのゆうまさんが丁寧に教えてくれたので、なんとか漕ぐ事ができました！
マングローブの中に入ると風がなくなり、ゆっくりと周りを見る余裕もありました笑
あんなに間近でマングローブを見た事なかったので、本当に行って良かったです！
カニや、大きいヤドカリなどにも触れる事ができました！
午後からの由布島も初めて行ったのですが、リアルジャングルを歩いてるみたいでした！
ジェラートも美味しかった！

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time! A friend told me that I absolutely must go to Pinai Waterfall, so I chose this tour. At first, I was worried about whether I could climb to the top of the waterfall, but there was a friendly guide who made the climb enjoyable! We were blessed with good weather, and the view from the top of the waterfall was just amazing!! I'm so glad I made it up there! Also, the Yaeyama soba I had at the top was delicious! We kayaked, trekked to the top of the waterfall, went to the basin, and then kayaked again... It was a packed tour where I could really feel the great nature of Iriomote Island! In the morning, there were few people, so it was nice and relaxing—highly recommended! Thank you so much, Hossy and Tacchy! I will come again! (^^)

知り合いから、絶対ピナイサーラの滝に行くべきと言われて、このツアーを選びました。
滝の上まで登る事ができるかはじめは不安でしたが、気さくなガイドさんがいてくれて、楽しく登る事ができました！

I participated in my first trip to Iriomote Island. When I arrived at the port, the guide welcomed us. The guide was a handsome young man, and he was knowledgeable about the history and nature of Iriomote Island, sharing many interesting stories. The activities were almost a first-time challenge for me, but he provided thorough instructions, so I felt safe and enjoyed myself. I became captivated by Iriomote Island, and I will definitely come back to visit again. Thank you very much.

港に着くとガイドさんが出迎えてくれます。
ガイドさんはイケメン青年で、西表島の歴史や自然についても詳しく、興味深い話が沢山聞けました。
アクティビティというものもほぼ人生初の挑戦でしたが、丁寧にレクチャーをしてくれるので安心して楽しめました。
西表島の虜になりましたので、また必ず遊びに来ます。

First and foremost, I want to emphasize the importance of being cautious about seasickness. Even those who usually don't get seasick should take motion sickness medication before boarding the boat. I was informed by the guide that there are customers who have to return without experiencing the tour due to seasickness, which is a real shame, so please be careful.

Now, let me report on the experience. I participated in the tour in mid-April, and the weather looked questionable even before the start of the experience. The staff was concerned about this and responded flexibly by speeding up preparations.

First, we moved through the mangrove forest by canoe, but it was raining quite heavily at that time. After confirming whether we should continue, we began our canoe journey. Thanks to the cold weather measures taken, we were able to move without feeling particularly cold. During the trekking afterward, we chatted and I was able to ask various questions.

Additionally, instead of going to the base of the waterfall first and then to the top as originally planned, we decided to go from the top due to the possibility of high water preventing us from accessing the top later. Because of this, we were able to see the view from the top of the waterfall and enjoy the sight of the waterfall below! Furthermore, when we went to the base of the waterfall, we were able to see an incredibly powerful waterfall, unlike anything I had seen before, thanks to the rain. It was so powerful that it was hard to breathe when we were close to it.

Afterward, since the ferry from Uehara Port to Ishigaki Island was canceled, we were taken to Ohara Port. Moreover, since we were relatively quick during our trekking, we had extra time, and we were taken to the Wildlife Conservation Center, making good use of the time until our departure from Ohara Port. Finally, we were guided to the ticket area, and we received very attentive guidance throughout the experience.

1番初めに伝えたいのは、船酔いには気をつけて頂き、
普段酔わない人も、酔い止めは飲んでから
船に乗って下さい。
ガイドさんに教えて頂いたのですが、
船酔いのせいで体験できずに帰られるお客さんも
いるとのことでしたので、それは非常にもったいないので、気を付けてください。

体験について報告致します。
体験は4月の中旬に行ったのですが、
その日は体験開始前から天気が怪しかったので、
その点を担当の方が心配して下さり、
準備の迅速化など臨機応変に対応して下さりました。
まずはカヌーでのマングローブ林移動なのですが、
その時には結構な雨が降っており、こちらに続行するかの確認後、
カヌーでの移動を開始しました。
その際に、寒さ対策をして頂いたおかげで、
特に凍える事なく移動する事が出来ました。
移動後のトレッキング時にも雑談をしてくれて色々聞くことが出来ました。
また、本来なら滝壺に行ってから滝上の予定のところ、
増水して滝上にいけなくなる可能性を考慮して、
臨時で滝上から行く事となりました。
そのおかげで、無事滝上からの景色を見る事が出来、
滝下を眺めることが出来ました！
さらには滝壺に行った際にも、雨のおかげで今まで見たこと無いくらい大迫力の滝を見る事が出来ました。
近くにいると息がし難いぐらいの大迫力でした。

その後、上原港から石垣島へ帰る便が欠便したので、大原港まで送迎して頂けました。
さらに、自分達のトレッキング時のスピードが比較的早かったので、体験時間が余っており、
臨時で野生生物保護センターに連れてって頂き、
大原港からの出航便までの時間を有意義に過ごす事が出来ました。
最後はチケット場所まで案内して頂き、
非常に丁寧なガイドをして頂けました。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. In the morning, the weather was bad, and it was disappointing that snorkeling was canceled, but canyoning was really fun. In the afternoon, the mangrove canoeing was nice as the weather cleared up, and it felt great. The staff at pipi taught me a lot about the island's charm and the fun of the activities, and I had a wonderful time in a warm atmosphere.

朝は天気が悪くて、シュノーケルが中止になってしまったのは悲しかったけど、キャニオニングもとっても楽しかったです。午後のマングローブカヌーでは晴れてきてとても気持ちよかったです。pipiの方が島の良さやアクティビティの楽しさをたくさん教えてくれて、温かい雰囲気の中、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

I participated in the mangrove (kayak) and water buffalo cart experience on Yubu Island. I was a bit anxious since it was my first time kayaking, but just paddling felt great and was the best. In the mangroves, I was able to experience the real thing while listening to various explanations, which was very moving. I also got to take many great photos, making for wonderful memories.

On Yubu Island, I was able to touch the strength, intelligence, and size of the water buffalo, and I learned about how they are cared for and their way of life, which was a fantastic experience. The gelato I had at a shop on the island was incredibly delicious.

Not only was the content great, but they also took time for changing clothes and showering, and the tour was perfectly paced for the participants' time and energy, leaving me very satisfied. The guides were all very kind, provided excellent explanations, and were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you very much.

由布島では水牛の力強さと賢さ、大きさに触れ、大切にされている様子や暮らし方を教えていただきとても良い体験でした。
島のお店で食べたジェラートは美味しすぎました。
内容はもちろん、途中で着替えやシャワーの時間を取ってくださったり、参加者に無理のない時間・体力配分のツアーで大満足です。
ガイドの皆さんが総じて親切で、説明も上手ですしとても感じがよく親切にしていただきました。

We signed up for a canoe and Yufushima tour as a couple. It was our first time canoeing, but we were able to go and come back safely. It was great to fully experience the island's magnificent nature!

I'm glad I was able to see stars that are usually not visible.
Paddling through the dark mangroves in a canoe, I was able to experience a magical world, and it was great to see the bioluminescent plankton as well.
Additionally, the guide's explanations were clear and thorough, which I highly recommend.

On April 4th, the weather was clear, with a forecasted high of 30 degrees.

One of the highlights is that the Windmill Tour departs early in the morning, allowing you to be the first to enjoy the canoeing and the top of the waterfall, providing a peaceful and relaxing experience. It truly feels like you have the place to yourself!

We participated as a family of four, with two daughters in upper elementary school and my husband and I in our forties. There were many challenging spots, including climbing cliffs, which made us a bit worried, but thanks to our guide Hoshi and the new guide Ogura, we had a fun time hiking. We talked a lot, and it felt like we arrived before we knew it. The kids, who usually dislike bugs, showed interest and even touched a lizard, which was full of surprises.

I think many people participate in the waterfall basin tour, but the breathtaking view and sense of accomplishment from the top of the waterfall are beyond words. If you're hesitating, I highly encourage you to give it a try!

As for me, an adult who lacks exercise, I was sore all over the next day! I recommend a relaxed plan for the day after the tour.

4月4日天気晴れ、最高気温は30度予想でした。

オススメポイントは、風車さんのツアーは早朝出発なので、カヌーも滝上にも一番乗りでき静かなのんびりした時間を過ごすことができることです。独り占め感がすごい！

小学校高学年の娘二人とアラフォー夫婦4人で参加しました。難所も多く、崖登り等心配もありましたが、ガイドのほしさんと新人ガイドのおぐらさんのおかげで楽しく山登りをできました。たくさんお話できて、いつの間に到着している感じでした。
子どもも普段は嫌がる虫に興味を持ったり、トカゲに触ってみたりと驚きの連続でした。


滝つぼツアーに参加される方は多いと思いますが、滝上からの絶景と達成感は言葉で伝えることができないほど素晴らしいです。迷ってみえる方はぜひチャレンジしてください！

運動不足の大人（私）は翌日全身筋肉痛です！ツアー翌日はゆるめプランをおすすめします。

It was amazing, amazing, amazing.
The view from above the waterfall was breathtaking!
The coral reef and the view of Hatoma Island in the distance were stunning.
On the way, we paddled a canoe while enjoying the great nature of Iriomote Island and the mangroves, followed by a hike of just under an hour, which was fun as we observed the island's flora and fauna.
Also, the Yaeyama soba at the top of the waterfall was very delicious.
After that, we descended to the base of the waterfall, and swimming in the pool was a valuable experience for the children.
The guide was also very thorough in their explanations, thank you very much.

It's rare to find a waterfall on a remote island, so I would love to visit again.

滝の上からの景気は絶景‼️
サンゴ礁の、島の先に鳩間島、絶景でした。
道中、西表島の大自然、マングローブを見ながらカヌーで上り、そこから一時間弱の山登り、島の動植物を見ながら楽しかったです。
また、滝の上での八重山そば、とても美味しかったです。
その後下山し滝壺へ、滝壺での遊泳は、子供には貴重な体験となりました。
ガイドの方も、とても丁寧に説明を頂き、ありがとうございました。

離島に滝､なかなか無いので、また訪ねたいです。

Canyoning was a precious experience that you absolutely can't have in the city, and it was so much fun! We dove into the river, climbed, and slid, and the kids had a blast too! The guide was very cheerful and friendly, and seeing him jump into the river made the kids want to jump in as well! Also, during the journey to our destination, he taught us a lot about Iriomote Island, which was really enjoyable! I'm also grateful for the quick delivery of photos and videos!

We enjoyed a round trip to Yufu Island with a leisurely tour around the island, and we were healed by the beautiful shallow sea and butterflies in nature! The guide also shared many interesting things about Iriomote Island during this trip, which made it fun!

The last time I visited, I went river rafting on a leisure boat, so this time I wanted to do something with more activities, which is why I chose this tour.

There was a discrepancy between the meeting time listed on the voucher at the time of booking and the time I was told over the phone the day before. This required me to cancel and rebook the boat I had reserved the night before, which was a frustrating start. I was told that the schedule was based on the boats from Yaeyama Tourism, but that information wasn’t written anywhere, and I had no idea.

As for the activities, we did canoeing on both Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island, and the water clarity was definitely better on Iriomote Island. Despite it being a bit hot, I enjoyed it comfortably.

The snorkeling at Barasu Island was canceled due to rough seas, and in the afternoon, we were switched to a tour of Yubu Island. Since Yubu Island has such beautiful nature, I wish they would minimize the number of signs and plates to show the scenery as it is.

I exchanged LINE information with the tour staff because they said they would send photos, but in the end, I never received any photos. I wonder what that was all about. I would like to visit Iriomote Island again if I have the chance, but the tour left me feeling a bit unsettled.

以前訪れた際はレジャーボートで川下りをしたので、今回はもっとアクティビティ度が高いことがしたく、このツアーを選びました。
予約時のバウチャーに載っていた集合時間と前日電話で言われた時間が異なっていて、事前に予約していた船を前日夜にキャンセルと再予約が必要になり、いきなり出鼻を挫かれるスタートでした。八重山観光の船を基準にスケジュール組んでるからと言われましたが、そんなことどこにも書いてないし知らんし。。

肝心のアクティビティは、今回石垣島と西表島の両方でカヌーをしましたが、水のキレイ度が断然西表島の方が良く、少し暑いくらいのなか、気持ちよく楽しめました。

バラス島のシュノーケリングは海が荒れているため中止と前日に連絡があり、午後からは由布島観光に振替えました。由布島はせっかくの自然なのだから、案内のプレートや看板は極力減らしてそのままの景色を見せて欲しいなと思ってしまいました。

ツアーのスタッフの方が写真を送るからとLINE交換したのですが、結局写真は届くことはなく、あれはなんだったんだ。。
西表島は機会があれはまた行きたいですが、ツアーはちょいちょいもやもやする内容でした。

It was so much fun. The person who guided us was very kind and welcoming, and we made the best memories. The homemade warm Yaeyama soba and cake we had by the waterfall were also amazing. I highly recommend it.

It was my first time on Iriomote Island. I'm really glad I participated in this tour. At first, I was worried about whether I could paddle the canoe or climb the mountain, but the instructor, Hoshi, reassured me by saying, "There's no rush, let's take it slow," which made me feel comfortable joining in. I got to hear a lot of interesting stories. The female instructor (I'm sorry, I forgot her name) was also cheerful and easy to talk to, making the tour a lot of fun! The handmade soba and handmade mochi were both very delicious! I definitely want to participate again! 😊

初めての西表島でした。
今回ツアーに参加してみて本当によかったです。
最初はカヌー漕げるかな、山登りできるかなと不安はありましたが、急がなくていいですよ〜ゆっくり行きましょうとインストラクターの星さんが声をかけてくださり安心して参加できました。
いろんなお話を聞かせてもらいました。
また女性のインストラクターさん（ごめんなさい、お名前忘れちゃいました）も明るく接しやすくてツアー中ずっと楽しかったです！
手作りそばも手作りムーチーもとてもおいしかったです！
