I was worried about whether the tour would proceed due to the approaching typhoon, but they contacted me the day before to explain the conditions under which it would be canceled and provided important information, which made me feel at ease to participate.
The guide was very attentive and made sure that even beginners like us could enjoy the experience safely. It was impressive how they continuously encouraged us to ensure our safety throughout the tour.
As we paddled along the calm waters, I felt the grandeur of the natural beauty of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, up close, and I was moved by the breathtaking scenery multiple times.
When we returned from canoeing, there was a large rainbow in the sky, and its beauty filled my heart. Thanks to the power of nature and the warm guidance of our guide, it became a wonderful experience that will stay in my memory.
If I have the opportunity to visit Iriomote Island again, I would love to participate once more.

It was my first time on a water buffalo cart, and listening to the sanshin performance was a soothing time. I recommend this tour for anyone going to Ishigaki Island.

The mangrove cruise passed by in no time, making me forget the passage of time. The water buffalo worked hard to pull the cart to Yubu Island, and they were very clever and diligent. The island was full of plants and connected to the beach, allowing us to have a fun time.
I was disappointed with the buffet for lunch, but the oil soba I tried without expectations was incredibly delicious—was it the magic of shikwasa?
The only downside was the rental bicycles on Taketomi Island; while I could tolerate the worn and rusty ones, the handlebars were crooked, making it very difficult to ride after not cycling for a while.

I think he might have exaggerated a bit, but I was impressed by his calm way of speaking and how he wrapped up his stories with a punchline. I thought this was really insightful and listened intently. As for the ferry returning from Taketomi Island to Ishigaki Island, the boarding area was hard to find. There were no announcements at the waiting area, so we almost missed the boat. I wonder if there were others who missed it too.

The guide took us by car to the starting point of the canoe trip. We were given a few quick explanations for beginners, and then we were off on our 1.5-hour canoe trip. Kengo was our guide for the half day. He's an awesome guide! He speaks English well and his explanations are clear, ideal for English speakers. Our only regret is not booking a full day!

The snorkeling and mangrove SAP tour on Balas Island was unexpectedly changed to canyoning and a mangrove canoe tour due to bad weather. I didn't know what canyoning was, but I chose it because it seemed more active than the water buffalo tour. In the end, it was a great decision! It was truly an extraordinary experience. Have you ever jumped into a waterfall, gone river rafting, or climbed rocks? We are two timid people, but with the encouragement of our guide and the other participants, we managed to complete it!

It was forecasted to rain, but it cleared up and the tour went smoothly without any issues. The boat ride on the way there was quite bumpy, but no one got seasick. Since it was high tide when we visited the mangroves, I would like to see the low tide state as well. The bus driver to the water buffalo riding spot on Iriomote Island was very entertaining. Bicycles are a must on Taketomi Island. Although it's not a very large island, I thought it would be challenging to cycle around it. Lunch was served buffet-style, and the taste was fairly good.

Thanks to our skilled guide, we discovered five coconut crabs, encountered two sleeping green pigeons in the trees, scorpions, the great eggfly butterfly, and various types of frogs. Finally, when we reached the coast, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of the starry sky stretching as far as the eye could see. その辺りの説明も頂けて安心して参加することができました。
本題のツアーなのですが、家族4人でのカヌーツアー。4歳と6歳とで実は不安もありましたが、全く問題なく楽しむ事が出来ました。子供達も初めての経験に大興奮！笑顔とはしゃぐ声が絶えませんでした。マングローブの神秘的な世界と、そこに住む生き物達。大自然と触れ合った大人も子供も癒された時間でした。ガイドの佐藤潤さんもいつも優しく声を掛けてくれて、安心して楽しむ事が出来ました。
ツアー終了後はシャワーも浴びて、さっぱり。集合場所まで送迎して頂き終了。
最後はバスが出るまで手を振ってのお見送りまでしてもらえて大満足の半日でした。
子供もまた行きたいと大はしゃぎで帰路に着く事が出来ました。

I was overwhelmed by the large mangroves! The explanations from our instructor, Seichan, were really interesting. Learning about the plants and creatures that live in the brackish water was incredibly educational. Kayaking through the great outdoors while thinking about how these species have adapted over many years was an invaluable experience. Also, I was excited to hear that the Adan is modeled after a certain famous manga, as I'm a big fan of the original work. 担当してくださったインストラクターのせいちゃんの説明もとっても面白かったです。汽水域に住む植物や生き物の紹介が、ものすごく勉強になりました。
長い年月をかけて適応してきたんだなぁと思いながら大自然の中をカヤックで進む経験はかけがえのないものとなりました。また、アダンが某有名マンガのモデルとなっている話も、原作が大好きなのでワクワクしました。大秘宝が見つかったら大人気スポットになるかもしれないのでその前にもう一度行っておきたいです笑
