I had a great time seeing trees I had never seen before on Iriomote Island, as well as the Ton-ton-mi and crabs. The guide found and shared various things with us.

The canoeing was easy, with hardly any current, making it suitable for beginners. The excitement of seeing the waterfall is something I think you can't experience often. It's also rare to be able to jump into the waterfall pool. My husband and I, in our late 50s, took the plunge! It was refreshing!

If you're participating, please make sure to wear a swimsuit. Even if you don't jump in, I think you'll definitely want to after seeing it.

Along the way, the guide took a lot of photos for us. Overall, during our 3-night, 4-day trip to Ishigaki Island, going to Iriomote Island was the most enjoyable part.

西表島の見たことのない木や、トントンミーやカニが見れてとても楽しかったです。ガイドの方がいろいろ見つけて教えてくれました。
カヌーは流れがほとんどなくて初心者でも大丈夫でした。滝を見た時の感動はなかなか味わえないと思います。
滝つぼに入ることもなかなかできないと思います。50代後半の夫婦ですが、思い切って飛び込みました！爽快でした！
参加される方は是非水着を着て行ってください。
飛び込まなくても、見たら絶対入りたくなると思います。
道中、ガイドの方がたくさん写真を撮ってくれました。
今回、石垣島に3泊4日の旅行で、西表島に行ったことが一番楽しかったです。

This was my second canoe experience on Iriomote Island, and it far surpassed my previous one, providing an amazing time. Canoeing while gazing at the majestic nature of the Pinai Sara Falls in the distance, experiencing the waterfall basin, and enjoying a warm lunch were all highlights.

The most luxurious moment, in my opinion, was when we leisurely walked on the sandy areas inhabited by mangroves during low tide. I believe the staff member, Eri, adjusted our time at the waterfall basin to bring us there.

I’m truly grateful for the many photos taken while paddling the canoe and checking on the participants. These were moments we couldn't capture ourselves. Even though it was only half a day, the experience was more than sufficient.

After returning to the hotel, we enjoyed relaxing on the beach and by the pool, making it a highly recommended plan that allowed us to spend our day without over-scheduling.

西表島でのカヌー体験は2度目でしたが前回をはるかに上回る素晴らい時間を過ごしました。
遠くに流れ落ちるピナイサーラの雄大な自然を眺めながらのカヌー時間、滝つぼでの体験、あったかいランチ。
そして一番の贅沢な時間だったなと思えるのが、干潮時で潮が引いていたのでマングローブが生息している砂場をゆったり歩いて過ごした時間。
きっとスタッフのエリさんが滝つぼで過ごす時間を調整してまで連れてきてくださったのだと思います。
又ご自分でカヌーを漕ぎながら、参加者の様子も確認しながらの中、たくさんの写真を撮っていただいて本当に感謝です。自分たちでは撮れない場面ばかりですから。
半日といえど充分すぎる内容でした。
ホテルへ戻ってからはのんびりビーチやプールで遊んだり自分達らしい詰め込み過ぎない日程で過ごす事ができるのとてもおすすめのプランです。

I participated in the mangrove canoeing and Yufu Island tour. It was our first experience canoeing as a couple, but the explanations were thorough, so we could enjoy it with peace of mind. There were narrow areas surrounded by mangroves, but we were able to navigate through them without any issues. I wasn't very confident in my physical strength, but even with breaks along the way, I didn't fall too far behind. I joined in mid-April, and at first, the water felt cold, but once I got used to it, I hardly felt the chill.

At Yufu Island, in addition to riding a water buffalo, we enjoyed a wonderful experience with the staff playing the shamisen and singing. Both at the mangroves and Yufu Island, the staff provided detailed explanations at each step, allowing us to enjoy the tour with confidence.

I was lucky enough to participate just the day before the event! After making the reservation, I received prompt communication and they adjusted the pickup location for the day. Overall, the staff were very courteous, taking photos during the activity and sharing them, as well as introducing Iriomote Island on the bus.

The tour content was also fulfilling! Personally, I found Yubu Island to be even more enjoyable than I expected. The hardworking water buffalo were adorable, and the unique plants of Yubu Island were thriving, making me feel the negative ions! The weather in mid-April was just right—not too hot and not too cold.

予約後すぐにご連絡をいただき当日のお迎え場所を調整してくださいました。
総じてスタッフの方が丁寧でアクティビティ中に写真を撮影して共有してくださったり、バス車内で西表島の紹介をしてくださいました。

ツアー内容も充実していました！個人的に由布島が思っていた以上に楽しかったです。一生懸命な水牛が可愛くて、由布島には西表島ならではの植物が生き生きと育っていてマイナスイオンを感じました！4月中旬の気候は暑すぎず寒くもなくちょうどよかったです。

I took a boat from Ishigaki Port at 11 AM and arrived at Iriomote Island at noon. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I signed up for a tour to make the most of the three hours before check-in.

The half-day course started at 1 PM and lasted about three hours, which was a lot of fun.

The guide was very thorough in their explanations, making it easy for beginners to enjoy the experience without worry. This is a recommended tour that I think everyone should try when visiting Iriomote Island.

It was an activity that I could enjoy even alone.

11時石垣港発の船で12時に西表島に到着し、滞在先のホテルに荷物を預けて、チェックインまでの3時間を有効活用しようとツアーに申し込みました。
13時スタート半日コースで約3時間楽しめました。

ガイドの方の説明もとても丁寧で、初心者でも安心して楽しめました。
西表島に来たらぜひ体験してほしい、おすすめのツアーです。

1人でも十分楽しめるアクティビティでした。

From the very first meeting, the smiles of the staff welcomed us, putting the participants at ease. We were able to enjoy canoeing on the water while being complimented on our skills, which made the experience even more enjoyable. During the mountain trek, the staff communicated about difficult and dangerous areas in a way that allowed participants to share and feel a sense of unity. Thanks to this, everyone was able to have fun playing in the water at the destination's waterfall. On the way back, we were able to observe the unique flora and fauna of Iriomote Island at just the right moments, thanks to the guidance provided. I also appreciate the care shown towards our group, which was the most vulnerable during the journey.

初対面からスタッフ皆さんの笑顔での出迎えで参加者の心が和みました。
水面でそカヌー操作でも上手く褒められつつ楽しく前に進めることが出来ました。
山行でも難しいところ危険なところを伝言形式で伝え参加者が共有でき一体感をつくる気遣いを感じました。
おかげさまで目的地の滝つぼでは水遊び等皆が楽しむことが出来ました。
帰路では西表島固有のの動植物が見かけられるタイミングでお伝え戴き観察することが出来ました。
また道中一番危なっかしい当方グループに気を遣って戴き感謝します。

My friend and I participated in a mangrove canoeing and trekking tour to Pinai Sara Falls. Although I was a beginner at canoeing, the instructions were very thorough and easy to understand, and I quickly became skilled at paddling. We navigated a river lined with mangroves while enjoying the view of the mountains and sky ahead, fully immersing ourselves in the extraordinary natural surroundings. The trekking to the falls was also well-guided, with timely tips on how to walk on the rocky slopes, which made me feel safe while walking. Along the way, we were accurately informed about the presence of unique lizards, turtles, and Japanese white-eyes, making it an experience that went beyond just trekking. The rice balls for lunch were also very delicious. Moreover, since we couldn't take many photos ourselves, we were grateful for the numerous pictures taken by our guide. The guide was bright, kind, knowledgeable, and trustworthy—a wonderful person. By the way, we are women in our late 60s. I can confidently recommend this tour to anyone.

マングローブカヌーとピナイサーラの滝までのトレッキングツアーに友人と2人で参加しました。カヌー初心者でしたが、とても丁寧にわかりやすく指導してくださり、すぐに上手に漕げるようになりました。マングローブが両側に生えた川を、前方の山や空を見ながら進み、非日常の大自然を満喫しました。滝までのトレッキングも、岩が多い坂を歩くコツなどをタイミングよく教えてくださり、安心して歩くことができました。途中も、珍しいトカゲや亀、メジロなどがいると的確に教えてくださり、ただのトレッキング以上の体験でした。ランチのおにぎりもとてもおいしかったです。しかも、自分たちではなかなか写真が撮れなかったので、撮っていただいたたくさんの写真がありがたかったです。ガイドさんは、明るく、優しく、情報豊富で、信頼できる素晴らしい方でした。ちなみに、私たちは60代後半の女性です。どんな方にもこのツアーを自信を持ってお勧めできます。

Our family of four landed on Iriomote Island for the first time! Among the many tours available, we found a plan that included everything we wanted to do. The canoe course was just right for our kids, who are in 8th and 6th grade, and they seemed to have a great time! We went hands-free, but they took a lot of beautiful photos for us, which became precious memories for our family. Our guide was Yume, and the lunch spot she recommended was truly delicious! Thank you very much!

The staff were very attentive and it was a great help. At first, it was raining heavily and I was worried about the weather, but by the time we arrived by canoe, the sun had come out, and we were able to enjoy the wild nature of Iriomote Island. Thank you very much.

I booked a mangrove kayak tour, but due to heavy rain, it was deemed dangerous, so they changed it to a beach snorkeling experience. They made a quick decision and provided an alternative plan.

Given the many accidents that occur in marine sports, I appreciate their safety-first approach, which builds trust. The snorkeling was also a great choice, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful sea immensely.

The guide was knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable. I would love to use their services again.

マングローブカヤックで予約しましたが、大雨の影響で危険とのことで、ビーチシュノーケルに変更してくださいました。迅速な判断と他のプランを用意くださいました。
マリンスポーツでの事故も多い中で、安全第一の判断をしてくださり、信用ができます。
シュノーケルも大正解で、とても美しい海を堪能できました。

We were blessed with good weather and were able to see an unprecedented number of stars. I think the night spent lying on the sandy beach will be unforgettable. Although we didn't encounter any coconut crabs or other bugs and insects, just wandering around the pitch-black path where nothing could be seen once the lights were turned off was a first for us, and the kids were excited the whole time. When we went to dip our feet in the sea, we unexpectedly saw bioluminescent plankton! That was really fascinating too!

お天気に恵まれ、見たことのない数の星を見ることができました。砂浜に寝転がり過ごした夜は忘れられないものとなると思います。ヤシガニや他の虫や昆虫には出会えませんでしたが、電気を消せば何も見えなくなる夜道をウロウロすること自体が初めてのことで、子供たちも終始興奮していました。
海に足だけつかりに行くと予期せぬ夜光虫を見れました！それもとても面白ろかったです！

Since it was the change of seasons, I wasn't expecting much, but the weather was so nice that I thought the sea would look beautiful! So, I made a reservation the day before. In the morning, we went canoeing on the Urauchi River, and in the afternoon, we did snorkeling at Barasu and another spot. The snorkeling had an unbelievably high level of clarity, and we were able to see clownfish, butterflyfish, and many other types of fish. Our guide in the morning was Teru, and in the afternoon, it was Kengo. Both guides were very knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel safe. When I expressed my lack of confidence in swimming, they took various considerations into account, which allowed us to fully enjoy both the morning and afternoon activities.

Both of them had a deep love for Iriomote Island and shared many interesting things with us, including the beauty and enjoyment of rainy days. I highly recommend this tour for those visiting Iriomote Island for the first time! Make sure to experience this tour at the beginning of your stay on Iriomote Island. You will definitely fall in love with Iriomote Island!

季節の変わり目なので期待していなかったのですが、あまりに天気が良いので、海が綺麗そう！と思い前日に予約しました。午前中は浦内川でのカヌー、午後はバラスともう一つ別のポイントでのシュノーケリングです。シュノーケリングは信じられないほど透明度が高くクマノミ、チョウチョウウオ、その他沢山の魚を見る事ができました。午前のガイドはテルさん、午後のガイドはケンゴさんでした。どちらのガイドさんも視野が広く、親切で安心です。泳力に自信が無い事を伝えると色々と配慮してくれました。おかけで午前も午後も満喫できました。
お二人共、西表島愛があり色々な事を教えてくれました。

I participated in a trekking tour to Pinaisara Falls. Our guide, Hoshi, provided detailed information about the nature and flora and fauna of Iriomote Island, allowing us to have a fulfilling experience beyond just aiming for the waterfall! Thanks to Hoshi's friendly personality, I felt relaxed as if we had known each other for a long time, and I had a great time!!

Later, when I enjoyed various vegetable tempuras at an izakaya in the evening, I was able to savor each dish while recalling the characteristics that Hoshi had taught us, making the trip even more enriching. This is a wonderful tour that allows you to learn more deeply about Iriomote Island. I would love to request this tour again when I visit the island next time.

ガイドのほしさんが西表島の自然や動植物について詳しく教えてくださり、単に滝を目指す以上の充実した時間を過ごすことができました！星さんの気さくなお人柄のおかげで、まるでずっと前からの知り合いだったかのようにリラックスできて、とても楽しかったです！！
また夜に居酒屋で様々な植物の天ぷらを食べた際も、星さんに教えていただいたそれぞれの特徴を思い出しながら味わうことができ、より一層充実した旅になりました。

I was guided by Yume, and I was able to spend a special time unique to Iriomote Island.

It was my first canoe experience, but thanks to her bright and kind support, I felt at ease. The explanations about the mangroves were enjoyable, and I was moved to be taken to some wonderful hidden spots.

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, but since there was no direct sunlight, it was actually comfortable and nice. It became a wonderful memory; thank you very much!

I participated on March 1st. The weather forecast unfortunately predicted rain, but it gradually cleared up, allowing us to experience the best tour. We enjoyed canoeing through the mangroves, trekking through the great outdoors to the waterfall, and the beautiful and dynamic Piñaisara Falls! The lunch we had at the base (rice balls and fried chicken) was fantastic. The guide was very friendly and provided detailed explanations at various points, making the entire tour truly enjoyable.

3/1に参加しました。天気予報はあいにくの雨予報でしたが、徐々に晴れて最高のツアーを経験できました。マングローブを楽しみながら進むカヌー、滝までの大自然を楽しみながら歩き進むトレッキング、そして美しくダイナミックなピナイサーラの滝！そのふもとで味わう昼食（おにぎり&唐揚げ）は最高でした。
ガイドさんはとてもフレンドリー、そしてポイントポイントでとても詳しく説明いただき、ツアー全体を通して本当に楽しく過ごすことができました。

It was an enjoyable tour from start to finish. The mangrove canoeing was stable, and even someone like me, who lacks physical strength, was able to ride it easily and observe the mangroves up close. Although it was a cloudy day with strong winds, the river was majestic, with gentle flows that allowed me to fully experience the great nature of Iriomote Island. I highly recommend canoeing!

Since you will get wet, I think it's best to participate in shorts or swimwear. You can change in the shower rooms. I was also happy that they took photos of us while canoeing and sent them to me later. If you bring your own smartphone, a waterproof case with a strap is essential!

On Yubu Island, I enjoyed the water buffalo, small beaches, delicious gelato, and butterflies... It was a peaceful time, and I was able to experience a different atmosphere from the wildness of Iriomote Island.

Although we couldn't go to Barasu Island due to bad weather this time, I thought it was great that Pipi offered various activities, allowing us to choose different options.

終始楽しいツアーでした。
マングローブカヌーは安定していて体力のない私でも簡単に乗れるようになりましたし、間近でマングローブを観察できました。曇りで強風の日でしたが、川の方は雄大で流れはあまり無くゆったりと西表島の大自然を感じることができたので、カヌー！オススメです。
濡れますので、服装は短パンや水着で参加されると良いと思います。着替えはシャワー個室でできます^ ^
カヌーに乗っている写真も撮っていただけて、後から送ってもらえたので嬉しかったです。もし自分のスマホを持つ場合防水ケースにストラップが必須です！
由布島も水牛や小さな浜辺に美味しいジェラートと蝶たち…穏やかな時間が流れていて西表島のワイルドさとはまた違った雰囲気を味わうことができ満喫しました♪
今回悪天候でバラス島に行けなかったのですが、pipiさんでは色々なアクティビティを実施されていて違うアクティビティを選ぶことができたことも大変良かったと思いました。

I had the pleasure of being guided by the Komachan team during the mangrove canoe tour, and it was a very fulfilling experience thanks to their bright and cheerful guidance! There was a change in the itinerary due to weather conditions the day before, but they provided detailed explanations and tips about the ferry, which made me feel that this tour company is very sincere overall.

The guides were very friendly and worked well together, and I found it fascinating to hear stories about life on the islands while we were on the bus. Additionally, I was able to spot a natural monument, the crested serpent eagle, thanks to their guidance. Thank you very much for this invaluable experience!

マングローブカヌーではコマちゃんチームでお世話になりましたが、明るく楽しく案内していただきとても充実したツアー体験でした!!前日に天候による内容変更がありましたが、そういった際も詳しい説明やフェリーの注意点なども教えていただき全体を通して大変誠実なツアー会社だと感じました。
ガイドの皆さんはとても仲が良くて、連携が取れていましたし、移動中のバスの中で島での生活の話などを聞きとても面白かったです。また、天然記念物のカンムリワシを発見して教えていただき目にすることができました。貴重な体験も含め本当にありがとうございました。

First of all, Shogo, who guided us on the canoe trip, was very good at talking and guiding, which made me feel secure throughout the tour! Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, but I think we had a lot of fun.

When getting on the canoe, you will definitely get wet up to about halfway up your shins. I was a bit surprised by the coldness of the water at this time of year, but once you're on, there are splashes of water, yet you generally won't get soaked. Before we started, there was a lecture on how to paddle and use the oars, and then we gradually got used to it while actually entering the mangrove forest in the river? sea? brackish water. It was very enjoyable, experiencing a jungle cruise-like atmosphere as we navigated the increasingly narrow waterways, and we had plenty of time to enjoy it!

As you can see, the water buffalo pulls the canoe, so you don't have to exert any effort! Throughout the day, I think the temperature was around 22 degrees Celsius, but I wore a swimsuit underneath, a short-sleeved T-shirt on top, and a light jacket, which made it feel quite warm during the canoeing!

Before the water buffalo ride, we had lunch near Uehara Port, and the guide recommended some places to eat! There was a shower to change out of wet clothes before lunch, so it might be a good idea to prepare a bag for wet items!

Overall, it was a very enjoyable day and a great experience!

まず、今回カヌーを案内してくれたショウゴさん、とても話上手で、ガイドも上手で安心してツアーを終えることができました！
天気は生憎の曇天でしたが、かなり楽しめた方だと思います。
カヌーに乗船する時は確実に膝下半分ぐらいまで濡れます。この時期水の冷たさに少し驚きましたが、乗ってしまえば水しぶきはありますが、基本浸水して濡れるようなことはありません。漕ぎ方やオールの使い方などは乗る前にレクチャーがあり、その後しばらく川？海？汽水域で慣らしながら実際にマングローブ林に入っていきます。段々細くなる水路にジャングルクルーズのような雰囲気を味わいながらとても楽しく、そして十分な時間楽しめました！
水牛は見てのとおり、牛が引っ張って行ってくれるのでなにもちからは使いません！
1日を通して気温22度ぐらいで推移していたと思いますが、下に水着を着て、その上に半袖Tシャツに、薄手のジャンバーでカヌーの途中は暑いぐらいでした！
このツアーでは水牛の前に上原港近くで各自昼食を取りますが、ガイドさんがオススメを教えてくれます！
昼食前にカヌーで濡れた服装などを着替えるシャワーがあり、濡れた物をいれる袋など用意しておくと良いかもしれません！
総じて非常に楽しめた1日でとても良い経験になりました！

We also got to experience water buffalo riding, and the gelato shop recommended by Koko was absolutely delicious! I participated in a mangrove canoe tour on Iriomote Island. The river was very calm, and the time spent slowly moving through the mangrove forest was truly an extraordinary experience.

It started to rain along the way, but the mangrove forest sheltered us from the rain more than I expected, so it wasn't too bothersome. In fact, the scenery of the greenery and the water surface wet from the rain was very enchanting, creating a special atmosphere that was different from sunny days. The sound of rain echoing in the quiet forest was truly a luxurious experience.

The guide was also attentive and reassuring, and the explanations about nature and wildlife were enjoyable, allowing us to connect more deeply with Iriomote Island. This is a highly recommended experience that can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. If you visit Iriomote Island, I definitely encourage you to join this tour!

川はとても穏やかで、マングローブの森の中をゆっくり進む時間はまさに非日常体験でした。

途中で雨が降ってきたのですが、マングローブ林が想像以上に雨をしのいでくれて、あまり気になりませんでした。むしろ雨に濡れた緑や水面の景色がとても幻想的で、晴れの日とはまた違った特別な雰囲気を味わえたのが印象的です。静かな森に雨音が響く時間は本当に贅沢でした。

ガイドさんも丁寧で安心感があり、自然や生き物についての説明も楽しく、より深く西表島を感じることができました。
天候に関係なく楽しめる、本当におすすめの体験です。西表島に来たらぜひ参加してほしいツアーです！

My first time on Iriomote Island.

The experience of seeing the mangroves by canoe is something that's difficult to do on your own, so I definitely recommend this tour. The guide was entertaining and shared a lot of interesting information about the history, nature, and knowledge of the mangroves of Iriomote. Additionally, they provided clear instructions for canoeing, making it safe for beginners. At the end, they showed us small crabs that filled the beach, which was very satisfying. You will get wet, but on the way back, you can stop by the office to take a shower.

If you're going to Iriomote Island, I highly recommend the canoe mangrove tour!

マングローブをカヌーで観に行く経験は、個人では難しい体験なので、是非、こちらのツアーおすすめします。ガイドのお兄さんの話も面白い。西表の歴史、自然、マングローブの知識満載です。さらに、初めてのカヌーもわかりやすく教えてくださるので、安全です。最後は、浜を埋め尽くすような小さな蟹たちもみせてくれて、大満足でした。濡れますが、帰りは、事務所によって、シャワーを浴びられます。

I was worried about whether I could enjoy it since it was raining, but canoeing in the rain was fun! Thanks to Koko, who kindly encouraged us, I was able to participate without any anxiety. Since she also acted as our guide, I gained a deeper understanding of the nature of Iriomote Island!

The water buffalo cart walked through the water, which was a rare experience that I wouldn't normally get to have. The sightseeing time on Yubu Island was just right, and I was happy to enjoy delicious gelato at a café!

If I have the opportunity to go to Iriomote Island again, I will definitely join the tour! Thank you very much!!

雨が降っており楽しめるのか不安でしたが、雨の中のカヌーも楽しかったです！
担当のコッコさんが優しく声掛けしてくださったおかげで不安なく行うことができました。ガイドもしてくださったので西表島の自然についての知識も深まりました！
水牛車も水の中を歩くとのことで普段できない貴重な体験ができました。
由布島での観光時間もちょうどよくカフェでおいしいジェラートを食べれて幸せでした〜！
また西表島に行く機会があればツアー参加させていただきます！

Although we couldn't go snorkeling at Barasu Island due to strong winds, the alternative option of canyoning was a lot of fun! There was certainly some fear when jumping in, but I was able to enjoy it while chatting and laughing with the guides and other participants! The mangroves were filled with the scent of nature, providing an extraordinary experience that became an unforgettable memory. One request I would appreciate is if those going to Yufu Island in the afternoon could be transported in a separate vehicle from those doing canyoning, as this would eliminate the waiting time for the shower for those heading to Yufu Island.

強風でバラス島でのシュノーケルは叶いませんでしたが、代替案のキャニオニングがとても楽しかったです！飛び込む時の怖さはもちろんありましたが、ガイドさんや参加者の方々とわいわいしながらでしたので楽しむことができました！マングローブの中は自然の匂いでいっぱいで非日常体験をすることができ、一生忘れられない思い出となりました。ひとつお願いできれば嬉しいのは、午後に由布島へ行く方とキャニオニングをする方で別の車で行動させていただけると由布島に行く方のシャワーを待つ時間がなくなるのでありがたいです。

When I applied, I was expecting a sky full of stars, but on the day of the event, it was cloudy and I couldn't see any stars, so it turned into a jungle exploration. I ventured into unmarked areas, and as a man over 60, I returned to my childhood, immersing myself in searching for creatures in tree holes and grass. I was delighted to encounter a natural monument, the coconut crab, which I will probably never see again in my lifetime.

道なきところへ潜り込み60過ぎたオッさんが童心に戻り木の穴や草むらを無心に生き物探しに没頭した。もう一生見ることのない天然記念物のヤシガニなどに出会え楽しかった。
