You can take a tour around Ishigaki Island. It was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and I was able to enjoy it in a short amount of time. The guide was a local, and their stories were interesting, so I never got bored. Lunch was included, and it featured small dishes that allowed us to taste a bit of the local cuisine, which was also tailored for tourists.
It was unfortunate that the weather was bad, but even with that, I had a great time. I recommend it for beginners.

We participated as a three-generation family. Thanks to the GO TO Travel program, it was quite a bargain. The only downside was the weather, which was mostly cloudy with light rain, but we had a satisfying five hours thanks to the male guide's clear and enjoyable talk. With live performances of the sanshin and singing, we really felt like we were in Ishigaki, and we were able to efficiently tour around Ishigaki.

I participated in a paid glass-bottom boat tour at Kabira Bay, and it seems that there is a nearby Ōmotō Sake Brewery, which would also be enjoyable to visit. Depending on the weather, the clarity of the water's surface may change, so it might be a good idea to skip the glass-bottom boat and visit the black pearl store or the Ōmotō Sake Brewery instead. On the way back, I didn't get off at the airport since I was on the evening Peach flight, but I had no explanation about the mangrove forest at Miyara River, so I had no idea where it was. Mangroves themselves are not particularly rare in Yaeyama, so there might not be much to explain. 川平湾でわたしは有料のグラスボートに参加したのですが、近くに於茂登酒造があるようでそこを見学しても楽しめたようです。天気によっては水面の透明度など変わってくると思うので、天気の状況によってグラスボートに参加せず黒真珠の店舗をみたり於茂登酒造を見学してもいいのかもしれません。時節柄もあって天候がよくなく透明度は正直それほど高くなかったように感じました。ウミガメは運よく？みられたので満足はしましたが。
帰りは夕方のピーチ便利用だったので空港では下車しませんでしたが、宮良川のヒルギ林については説明もなくどこだかまったくわかりませんでした。マングローブ自体は八重山では珍しいものでもないので特に説明することもないのかもしれませんが…
二度は利用しないかもしれないけど、石垣島が初めてであれば利用してみて間違いのないツアーだと思います。

This was my second visit to Kaiji Beach, but I remember it being more beautiful with more star sand when I visited over a decade ago. We were able to leisurely admire the houses and scenery of Taketomi Island, spend our time slowly, and create wonderful memories as a family.

Since the weather forecast predicted rain, I changed my plans from an island-hopping tour to a bus tour around Ishigaki Island at the last minute. The forecast turned out to be accurate, and it rained with strong winds, so it wasn't the best location, but I was prepared for that, so it couldn't be helped. Thanks to the fun stories and wonderful songs from our guide, I was able to have an enjoyable time despite the rain. The lunch was delicious, and it was great that I could use the GOTO campaign, making it very affordable. However, I still wanted to see the beautiful sea on a sunny day, so I would like to visit Ishigaki Island again.
雨が降る天気予報だったので離島巡りの予定を中止してこちらの石垣島を巡るバスツアーに急遽予定変更しました。
天気予報は外れてくれず雨が降り風も強く最高のロケーションとは言えなかったですがその点は覚悟していましたので仕方ありません。

Personally, I think it would be nice to go to Hoshi no Suna Beach by bus tour or by bicycle, so a combination of an ox cart and bike rental seems like a good option.

The stargazing tour was amazing! The staff entertained us with many fun stories! We were lucky to see not only the beautiful starry sky but also shooting stars. We also spotted a Japanese scops owl three times. They even caught some very rare fireflies and their larvae, as well as a large coconut crab and a palm crab, which left us guests very impressed! We also saw a big bat! Additionally, we were really lucky to see many cute hermit crabs! I highly recommend that everyone give it a try!

I participated on the last day of my trip. I thoroughly enjoyed a half-day tour from morning until 2:30 PM. During the mangrove cruise, the guide provided very clear explanations. Since it had just rained, there was a rainbow arching over the green mangroves and blue sky, which was refreshing for the soul.
