I didn't see the coconut crab, but I had a great time seeing various types of crabs and other unusual creatures. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to see the starry sky, so I want to try again! Along the way, I received useful information and trivia about the island, which made the journey enjoyable both to and from the location. Since my companion injured their foot a few days ago, we decided to use a rental bicycle instead of walking on Taketomi Island. The water buffalo cart on Yubu Island had a great guide who shared interesting stories, played the sanshin, and sang beautifully. The wind had been strong since the day before, so I was worried about seasickness and bought some motion sickness medication just in case, but the large ferry was stable, and it seemed I didn't need the medication after all.

I purchased a premium seat for the segment from Iriomote Island to Taketomi Island, and I was able to take photos both indoors and on the deck, which made for great memories! The mangrove cruise was also comfortable with a pleasant breeze.

The bus tour on Iriomote Island featured a wonderful guide with a great sense of humor. I was impressed by the water buffalo on my first-ever water buffalo cart ride! The sanshin music and singing added to the Okinawan atmosphere, making it a fantastic time! The tour of Yubu Island (the botanical garden) was also enjoyable, and the lunch was delicious. The only slight regret was missing the free commemorative photo with the water buffalo.

This was my second visit to Taketomi Island, and I remembered strolling through the village while being amazed by the scenery last time. Even though it had been over a decade, I thought I could have the same experience, so I chose the free walk plan, which turned out to be a mistake. Both my husband and I were exhausted just reaching the village, and we ended up resting at a café. I can't help but feel that if we had chosen the bus tour, this day trip would have surely been "the best!"

Now that we're in our 60s, it seems best to choose plans that don't overestimate our physical strength. The hotel pick-up and drop-off service was also very appreciated. Thank you for all your help!

西表島のバス観光は、ユーモアのセンスに溢れた観光案内が素晴らしかったです。人生初の水牛車も賢くて働き者の水牛に感動！　三線と歌も沖縄の雰囲気が楽しめて最高の時間でした！　由布島（植物園）の観光も楽しく、ランチも美味しかったです。水牛との無料の記念写真撮影を逃したのだけが若干心残りです。
竹富島は2回目で、前回景色に感動しながら集落をぶらぶら歩いた記憶があったので、あれから十数年経っているにも拘らず、同じ体験ができるものと思い、フリーウォークプランを選んだのが失敗でした。主人も私も集落まで辿り着くだけで足が疲れてしまい、カフェで休憩して終わりました。バス観光を選んでいたら、今回の日帰りツアーはきっと「最高でした！」を選べたのにと思うとその点だけが残念でなりません。やはり、60代になったので、自分たちの体力は過信せずに無理をしないプランを選ぶのが一番のようです。
ホテルへの送迎もとても有難かったです。大変お世話になりました！

I went in early November. Even though it's November, Ishigaki Island was still hot and humid enough to be considered summer, and by the end of the tour, I was quite sweaty. We got off about 30 minutes by car from Ishigaki Port and crossed through the jungle while searching for creatures, then went to the beach to see the starry sky. Unfortunately, the sky was somewhat cloudy, so we couldn't see the stars very well, but I was satisfied to encounter small coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and larger frogs in the jungle along the way. It's easy to go and you won't get wet, so I recommend it for those who love creatures and astronomy.

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time with friends in their 20s from Kansai.

While paddling on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) through the mangrove forest, which thrives in water, we had to get off and take a break at one point because the muddy ground was really sticky. Instead of being surrounded by trees, we were enveloped by the mangrove forest by the water's edge, which made us feel very connected to nature, and the gentle rocking on the water was quite pleasant.

11月の海が関西では有り得ないため水温の想像が出来ませんでしたが海に入る前も後もウェットスーツおかげか寒いなどの感想は海に足を入れた時のみでした。普段見ることは出来ない透明な海とたくさんの種類の魚やサンゴが見られ、タイトルのようにウミガメを見ることもできました。
こちらは基本的に海に浸かっているので防水ケースに入れた携帯なら水の中でも写真を撮れました！

During a business trip, I stopped by Ishigaki Island and was looking for fun tours besides island hopping when I accidentally found this tour.

The drive took about 30 minutes, but during the ride, I heard various enjoyable stories about Ishigaki Island and personal anecdotes, and before I knew it, we had arrived.

I was worried about the weather, but I was moved to see both a starry sky and the creatures of nature. I think there may be days when the starry sky is not visible due to the weather, but even just listening to the guide's stories was enough to enjoy the experience, making it well worth participating. As others have shared, the tour itself is 100% perfect, but the guide's personality and explanations make it 120% perfect. I confidently recommend it.

At the start, I was asked to sign a consent form for participating in the tour, which made me a bit worried about what dangerous places we might be going to, but we walked for a few minutes through a dark and rugged jungle while searching for creatures, and there were children around 7 to 8 years old participating, so even small children can join with peace of mind.

This tour made me love the nature-rich Ishigaki Island even more.

P.S. The photos taken by the guide were on a smartphone, yet they were very beautiful, showcasing a professional-level smartphone photographer.

仕事の出張ついでに石垣島に立ち寄り、離島めぐり以外に何か楽しそうなツアーがないか探していたところ、偶然見つけたのが、こちらのツアーでした。
車で30分ぐらいの移動ですが車中では、石垣島情報や個人情報までいろいろ楽しい話しを聞かせてもらい、アッという間の到着でした。
天候が心配でしたが、満点の星空に自然界の生き物、どちらも見ることができ感動的でした。
天候しだいで星空も見ず残念な日もあると思いますが、ガイドさんの話だけでも十分楽しめ、参加する価値ありです。他の方の体験談でもあるようにツアーそのものは1０0％完璧なのに、ガイドさんの人柄や説明が楽しく120％完璧すぎるツアーです。自信をもっておすすめします。
出発時にツアー参加の同意書のサインを求められ、どんな危険な所に行くのかちょっと心配になりましたが笑、
生き物を探しながら真っ暗で険しいジャングルを数分、砂浜まで歩きますが、７～8歳くらいの子供さんも参加していていたので小さな子供さんも安心して参加できます。
今回のツアーで自然豊かな石垣島がもっと好きになりました。

ガイドさんが撮ってくれる写真はスマホなのに、とてもきれいで、プロ級のスマホ写真家ですね。

On the regular 3-hour course, the main focus is primarily on the west side of Ishigaki Island, so I chose a course where I could select my own locations. On the last day in Ishigaki Island, I was guided from the hotel to Panna Observatory, then to Kabira Bay, Tamatorizaki Observatory, and finally to New Ishigaki Airport. First of all, the jungle night tour was incredibly fun as it allowed us to explore a jungle that we could never have ventured into on our own! We were able to see snakes and coconut crabs as well. Since there were small children participating, it’s a tour you can join with peace of mind. As for the starry sky, we participated during a nearly full moon, so the moon was too bright and we couldn't see the stars very clearly. The guide told us that during the new moon, the stars are really beautiful, so I want to try again during the new moon! Just before the tour ended, the guide shared photos taken during the tour via AirDrop and other methods. It was a lot of fun, and I definitely want to participate again when I come back to Ishigaki!

まず、ジャングルナイトツアーは自分では絶対に行けないようなジャングルの中を探検できてすごく楽しかったです！ヘビやヤシガニなども見れました。小さなお子様も参加してらっしゃったので安心して行けるツアーです。星空は、私たちはほぼ満月の時に参加したので月が明るすぎてあまり綺麗に見れませんでした。ガイドさんから、新月の時はすごく綺麗に見えると教えてもらったので、次は新月の時にリベンジしたいです！

I participated in a morning mangrove kayak tour and an afternoon snorkeling tour. It was helpful that they accepted reservations even the night before.

During the morning mangrove kayak tour, we received a briefing on how to paddle, making it enjoyable even for beginners. I recommend wearing a swimsuit and clothes that can get dirty, as you surprisingly get wet from the river water.

The afternoon Blue Cave tour was changed to snorkeling at Ohsaki due to poor sea conditions from the typhoon. Although there was a change, the snorkeling time was longer, and I actually enjoyed it more. There were considerations for those who are not good at swimming, so I felt safe participating.

Additionally, the instructor shared recommendations for restaurants and information about Ishigaki Island during the car ride, making for a fun time! Thank you very much.

I stayed on Ishigaki Island, and since the meeting and disbanding point was Ishigaki Port, I was able to participate with ease, even as someone who gets lost easily.
We rode a water buffalo cart across the sea and around the island. The staff member who guided us was very personable, and the warm, cheerful atmosphere made the time fly by!
They even shared the individual personalities of the water buffalo, which made me really feel that we were living together (laughs).
It was my first experience with mangroves, and with the detailed guidance from our guide, it was an enriching cruising time!
The next day, I was excited for the canoe experience in the mangroves, which heightened my anticipation.
It was a fun tour where the day passed in the blink of an eye.

石垣島に宿泊していましたが、石垣港集合、解散なので方向音痴の私でも安心して参加できました。
