On the last day of my trip to Ishigaki Island, I had a whirlwind tour of three hours until my flight departure, and it was definitely the right choice! I was able to visit many sightseeing spots in a short time, and the guide sang folk songs, making it a very fulfilling three hours! When I come back to Ishigaki Island, I look forward to it again.

On Iriomote Island, we experienced one of the few days of high tide that occur about eight times a year, and the water level was so high that we couldn't see the roots of the mangroves during the mangrove tour. However, we were guided through a route that can only be accessed during high tide. On Yubu Island, we enjoyed a round trip on a water buffalo cart and a lunch while exploring the island. On Taketomi Island, there were cycling courses available, and I was glad to ride the water buffalo cart again as I learned a lot about the islands. Since it's a small island, this tour, which can be completed in a day, was very enjoyable.
西表島では一年に8回程しかない大潮の日に当たり、水位が高くマングローブ遊覧はマングローブの根元が全く見えませんでしが、大潮時にしか通れないルートを案内してもらえました。由布島では水牛車での往復とランチ島内散策、竹富島ではサイクリングのコースがありましたが、島についての説明がいろいろ聞けたのでまた水牛車に乗って良かったと思いました。小さい島なので1日で周れるこのツアーはとても良かったです。

The tour of Ishigaki Island is perfect for those without a car, allowing you to efficiently visit the highlights of the island in about half a day. At Kabira Bay, you can choose to ride a glass-bottom boat or go for a walk. The glass-bottom boat was available at a special tour price, making it a great deal. We even saw turtles!
The guide continuously shared various stories about Ishigaki Island without a break, which was very enjoyable. For lunch, there were plenty of local dishes, and I left feeling full. The view from there was also very beautiful.
In the latter part of the tour on Taketomi Island, there was no guide, but we showed our tickets to board the boat, and upon arrival, we were quickly picked up by a car, which then took us to ride a water buffalo cart. The flow of the tour was very smooth, which was great.
During the photo session with the water buffalo, we received a free commemorative photo, which was a wonderful keepsake. After that, we explored on our own, but due to the busy season in July, all the rental bicycles were fully booked, so I couldn't rent one. If you want to rent a bicycle, it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance.
I explored on foot and enjoyed a leisurely time for about an hour and a half. For the return boat, you can choose between 4 PM or 5 PM. The shuttle bus to the boat was also smoothly arranged, which was very good.
I think this is a great plan for first-time visitors.

ガイドさんは休むことなくずっと石垣島に関するいろいろなお話をしてくださりとても楽しかったです。
お昼はちゃんと土地の物のおかずが沢山ありお腹いっぱいになります。そこからの景色もとても美しいです。
後半の竹富島はガイドさんはおらず、各自で最初にもらったチケットを見せて船に乗り、向こうではすぐお迎えの車に乗れ、その後水牛車にすぐ乗車できます。流れがとてもスムーズで大変良かったです。
その後の水牛との写真撮影では無料の記念の写真も貰えとても良い記念になりました。
その後は各自散策しますが、７月の繁忙期のため着いてからレンタサイクルは予約がいっぱいで借りられませんでした。もしレンタサイクル希望なら事前に予約がいいかもしれません。
私は徒歩で散策しましたが、約１時間半のんびりできました。
帰りの船は、16時か17時で選べます。船までの送迎バスも予約がスムーズでとても良かったです。
初めての人にはとても良いプランだと思います。

Since it was my first time in the Yaeyama Islands, I joined this tour that allows you to visit three islands in one day. It was packed with activities, and by the end, I had such a fulfilling day that I was completely exhausted.
It was a sunny day in July, so it was really hot, and staying hydrated and protecting against UV rays were essential. The UV levels are said to be seven times higher than in Tokyo. Since this is a daytime tour, I think it's especially important for those visiting in the summer to take precautions.
The guide's stories were all fascinating, and I got a glimpse into the history of the islands and the lives of the residents, which made me want to learn more about the Yaeyama Islands. It was a valuable experience. Thank you very much.

The round-trip bus transfer to the hotel was very smooth, allowing the tour to proceed seamlessly! Even though it was a tour, there was plenty of free time for exploration, which was great. We set sail on a boat and immediately headed to the mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island... The explanations were very easy to understand, and I was satisfied! After that, we moved by bus and rode water buffalo to Yufu! While enjoying the scenery from the water buffalo, we explored the botanical garden in Yufu and had delicious food! Afterward, we returned by bus and took a boat to Taketomi Island... The bus tour included a stroll on the star sand and sightseeing in Taketomi by water buffalo... everything was fantastic‼︎ On the way back, we adjusted the bus transfer schedule and explored the bustling streets of Ishigaki, where I was able to buy souvenirs! If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the remote islands don't have trash cans, so it's better to bring a bag for your trash. Thank you very much! (^^)

After arriving at Ishigaki Airport, I was picked up and taken to visit the Shisa Farm, Kabira Bay, Cape Ongasaki, Yaima Village, and the Ishigaki Island Limestone Cave, before being dropped off at my hotel. The sightseeing at each location was a lot of fun, and the driver was kind, making our conversations enjoyable during the ride. I specified a few places I wanted to visit, and the driver efficiently took me to recommended spots based on the local situation. Since I'm not good at driving and wanted to avoid renting a car, and considering that bus services are limited, I truly appreciated being able to use this tour.
石垣空港に到着後迎えに来て頂き、そこからシーサー農場・川平湾・御神崎灯台・やいま村・石垣島鍾乳洞を回って頂き、最後はホテルへ送って頂きました。各地での観光も大変楽しかったですし、運転手さんも親切で移動中いろんなお話ができて楽しかったです。行きたい場所を何箇所か指定させていただき、後は現地の状況に合わせてオススメのスポットを効率よく回って頂けました。車の運転は苦手なのでレンタカーは避けたいし、バスの本数も限られているのでバスでの観光は難しいと思っていたので、こちらのツアーを利用させて頂けて本当に助かりました。

I participated in this trip as a solo traveler. Although I felt a bit lonely since there were no other solo travelers, the continuous beautiful scenery made me forget about that. If I could be a little selfish, I would have liked to extend my stay on Iriomote Island and do a bit more sightseeing by bus. Conversely, I think half the time on Yufu Island would have been sufficient. I appreciated that on Taketomi Island, I could choose my return time. Every year, I used to visit Ishigaki Island with my daughter. Since my husband and I can no longer drive, we decided to ask a sightseeing taxi service for help. This was my 11th visit to Ishigaki Island, and we were able to drive along mountain roads we had never been on before, enjoy breathtaking views in spacious grasslands, and relax at a restaurant where we could savor delicious lunch and juice. They guided us through a fulfilling day. They even accompanied us to the hospital for my husband's swollen joints. The lunch bento was also a great value, allowing us to enjoy Okinawan ingredients. However, I was a bit disappointed that the mangrove tour lacked variety and felt very long and boring. That's why I gave it four stars.

Since my flight was around 7 PM on the last day of my trip, I wanted to make the most of the half day and made a reservation two days prior. It happened to be a day of high tide, so we were able to take a route on the Nakama River cruise that usually cannot be accessed due to low water levels, allowing us to see mangroves that can only be found there. However, the water level was so high that the roots, which are a characteristic of mangroves, were almost submerged. I feel that experiencing the jungle-like atmosphere of the mangroves would be better during low tide. We sat on the right side of the boat, but since the boat traveled upstream along the left bank, I wished we had sat on the left side. (This also depends on the water level, so it can't be said definitively.)
On Yubu Island, we had 90 minutes of free time, including lunch. It takes less than an hour to walk around the entire island, so the time was sufficient. Since the return trip goes via Taketomi Island, if you have extra time, I recommend getting off at Taketomi Island to explore by rental bicycle or ox cart. You can ride an ox cart on Yubu Island, so personally, I think it's best to cycle around Kondoi Beach and Kaiji Beach.
Next time, I want to stay on Iriomote Island and enjoy more activities on the island.
旅行最終日が19時頃の飛行機だったので半日を有効活用したいと思い、二日前に予約を取りました。ちょうど大潮の日の満潮時だったので仲間川のクルーズでは普段水位が足りなくて通ることができないコースを通ることができ、そこでしか見られないマングローブを見ることができました。ただ、水位が高過ぎてマングローブの特徴である根っ子はほぼ水没していました。マングローブのジャングルらしさを味わうなら干潮時の方がいいような気がします。私達はボート右側に座ったのですが、ボートは左岸に沿って川を遡ったので左側に座れば良かったと思いました。（これも水位によって航行ルートが変わるので一概には言えませんが）
由布島では昼食を含めて90分の自由時間がありました。島全体は1時間もかからずに一周できるので時間は充分です。帰りは竹富島経由なので時間に余裕があるなら竹富島で降りて、レンタサイクルや牛車で島を観光することをお勧めします。由布島で牛車に乗れるので、個人的にはレンタサイクルでコンドイ浜やカイジ浜を回るのが良いかと。
次回は西表島に宿泊してもっと島内のアクティビティを楽しみたいです。

I left my luggage at the hotel and joined the tour. First, we were able to explore the mangroves by boat and take our time with photos (the guide was also very attentive). The water buffalo cart was a slow-paced ride, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing at a leisurely pace. On the way back, we returned a bit faster with a different guide, but it was no problem since it was the return trip.
Finally, on Taketomi Island, we rode bicycles using a map. I had selected places to visit in advance online, so we were able to explore with plenty of time to spare.

A trip to Ishigaki Island during the rainy season. I considered renting a car, but I opted to tour around by taking the bus. Despite the heavy rain on the day of the tour, I decided to take shelter on the bus early and relax. We transferred to a bus and headed to the cruise ship terminal. The driver and guide was very good at speaking! After switching to the cruise ship, we observed the mangroves. Having done quite a few guided river cruises in Southeast Asia, I wasn't particularly impressed. We then transferred to another bus to go to the water buffalo cart station. The water buffalo cart ride while listening to Yaeyama folk songs was nice! The Okinawan cuisine at Yubu Island, accompanied by explanations, was delicious! After the meal, we took a commemorative photo with the water buffalo "Rui-kun"! I wanted the photo data and purchased two for 2500 yen. You can quickly download the data with a QR code. Then, there was a thunderstorm! During that time, we enjoyed Yubu Island coffee and cake at the Yubu Island tea house. The coffee was very tasty with a slight acidity. It seems to be a daily blend. When the rain lightened up, we returned to Iriomote Island by water buffalo cart, switched buses to go to the port, and took a boat to Taketomi Island. We took another bus and visited two beaches. 残り時間20分で展望ビルに上り、アイスの商店でアイス購入し、走り回り～またバスで港へ行き船で帰港・・・。クルーズ時間を短くするかして竹富島観光時間を、あと30分は取って欲しい。全ての行程でチケットを切り取り、出すのが大変でした。遊園地の腕輪のようにコース番号印刷をはめれば見せるだけでOKみたいなものを使ってほしいです。

I found it very stressful to receive a stern warning without prior explanation during the outbound trip when we were fixing our seats. I will never visit this island again. 牛車がまだ出発前の段階で各自の席位置を確定させる調整段階の時に上記話があればよかったのですが、この話は帰りの牛車時でした。行きの牛車時に説明なく(かつ出発前の席固定調整時)に強い口調で注意だけされた私には非常にストレスフルでした。
二度とこの島へは行きません。非常に不快な思いでです。支援もしません。
3:また本ツアーは「2022送迎バス時刻表」を私が指摘するまで掲載がありませんでした。リンク期限切れの2021年前半掲載のままでした。
管理担当者はツアー会社側と本仲介(マッチングサイト)両者と推測されます。管理担当者の運用意識が私にはわかりかねました。
4:ツアー前日に電話がかかってきてその際に集合時間を案内されますが(他ツアーも同じく)申し込みがWebなのにその後アナログ対応で電話とは。。。IP電話だと電話代発生しますし沖縄旅行だと前日もバタバタしていたり離島や電波の悪い場所にいたり(私はそうでした)。運用システムの改善を強く要望します。
要は、目的が「集合時間、場所相互認識一致」ですよね。
なら申し込みに使用したメールアドレスからそのような画面へうつってクリックするなりすれば目的は果たせますよね？
アプリや大掛かりなシステム開発では費用がかさむこともありますが
この程度のものなら短時間少人数で対応できるわけです。
今回沖縄旅行で2つのツアーを申し込みましたが、現システムの悪さを踏まえてもリピートはありません。
