We participated in a half-day snorkeling tour as a family of three (with a 7-year-old child). Since our hotel was close to Tom Sawyer's shop, we walked there. The staff helped us choose the right size equipment with great care.

The port was just a 1-2 minute walk away, but they provided a shuttle to take us there. To our surprise, the boat was very large. As someone who has done scuba diving, I've seen various boats, but this one was very spacious and comfortable.

We set sail with two boats, dividing into groups for experience diving and snorkeling. On our boat, there was a person in a wheelchair, and the staff treated them with great kindness.

After receiving a snorkeling lecture, we were ready to snorkel. The conditions were very calm, making it easy for beginners.

One positive aspect was that we could wear wetsuits, which provided good buoyancy, allowing my child to enjoy it without fear.

On the downside, there were fewer instructors than the number of participants. While the shop doesn't claim to have a small group system, it would have been better if they had paid a bit more attention, especially since my child struggled to breathe through the snorkel and I had to stay close to assist.

However, overall, the staff were friendly and attentive, and we had a very enjoyable snorkeling experience.

シュノーケリングの半日ツアーに、3人家族（子供7歳）で参加しました。
私たちは、トムソーヤさんの店にホテルが近かったため徒歩で店へ。
機材選びは丁寧に的確なサイズを選んでいただきました。

そして、港は徒歩でも1.2分ですが送迎車をだしていただき港へ。
そしてびっくりしたのが、とても大きな船だったこと。
私はスキューバダイビングをやるので、いろいろな船を見ていますが
とても大きくて快適な船でした。

そして、船2隻で体験ダイビング組とシュノーケリング組に分かれて出航。
私たちの船には、足の不自由な車いすに乗った方が同乗していましたが
スタッフの方々は、とても丁寧に接していました。

そして、シュノーケリングのレクチャーを受け、いざシュノーケリングへ。
ポイントは、とても穏やかな波で初心者にはとてもやりやすかったと思います。

良かった点は、ウエットスーツを着てやることができたので
しっかり浮力が確保できて、子供も怖がらずできた。

残念だった点は、参加人数に対してインストラクターの方が少ない点です。
少人数制をうたっている店ではないので、無理は言えませんが
子供がシュノーケルでうまく息ができなかったので、私が子供につきっきりで見ていました
。一人一人が楽しめるように、もう少し気を使っていただけたらもっと良かったと思います。

しかし、全体的に感じが良いスタッフの方ばかりで丁寧に接していただき
とても楽しいシュノーケリングが楽しめました。

I have snorkeled several times in the past, but this was my first experience seeing such a beautiful sea with colorful coral reefs. It was raining heavily that day, and there was thunder, so the staff changed our morning course to the afternoon course. They considered the safety of the participants when deciding to cancel, and their suggestion for the afternoon snorkeling was thoughtful, ensuring that everyone could enjoy it to the fullest. Fortunately, by the afternoon, the rain had lightened, and the thunder had stopped! Under the sea, there were various types of fish and vibrant coral reefs, and I took many photos with an underwater camera! They pointed out where to find clownfish, and I was able to see them. Additionally, they provided wetsuits, fins, and life jackets, which made swimming smooth and made me feel that even small children could snorkel safely. The staff were all very kind, which made me feel at ease.

私は、過去に何度かシュノーケリングをしたことがありますが、ここまで綺麗な海で、色とりどりの珊瑚礁を見たのは初めてでした。この日はすごい雨で、雷も鳴っていたので、スタッフの方が午前中のコースから午後のコースに変更してくださいました。中止になった理由も参加者の方の安否を考慮していただいていて、午後からのシュノーケリングの提案も参加者の方が存分に楽しめるように、気遣いもしてくださいました。そして午後からは小雨で、雷は鳴り止み、すごく助かりました！海の中には、色々な種類の魚と、カラフルな珊瑚礁があり、水中カメラでたくさん写真を撮りました！クマノミがいる場所を教えていただき、見ることができました。また、ウェットスーツとフィンとライフジャケットを貸していただいたので、スムーズに泳ぐことができ、小さいお子様でも安心してシュノーケリングができるなと感じました。優しいスタッフさんばかりなので安心できました。

The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We went to the diving spot with the divers, and the guide gave solid support for snorkeling. Also, the lunch was delicious.

I wanted to enjoy a leisurely snorkeling experience, but just beach entry wasn't enough, so I joined this half-day tour. We brought our own equipment like wetsuits, but others participated without any gear. The boat had a restroom and a dry area, and we could bring our belongings like cameras on board. There was also a free tea server available.

After departing for 20 minutes, we anchored at the snorkeling point for our snorkeling time. Since there were also participants for introductory diving on the same tour, we stayed at one spot for about 90 minutes. While the divers received their briefing, we eagerly jumped into the sea. The staff was always attentive to safety, allowing us to relax and enjoy the waters of Ishigaki at our own pace.

The underwater scenery of Ishigaki is amazing! The seabed is covered in white sand, and the water is crystal clear blue. As we swam, we were surrounded by coral reefs. The schools of damselfish sparkled in the blue, and it was beautiful! We found a family of clownfish among the soft corals, which was thrilling. We encountered pairs of butterflyfish and various schools of fish.

When we got tired of swimming, we returned to the boat, took a break with some tea, and then headed back into the water.

At the end, the staff asked, "Would you like to feed the fish?" and gave us fish sausage. It was incredibly effective! I felt like I was in a dragon palace, surrounded by a variety of fish of all sizes and colors, enjoying the attention. It was such a fun moment that I couldn't stop laughing while wearing my snorkel.

Since we had a flight in the afternoon, we borrowed the office's shower room to freshen up and were able to wash our equipment as well. The location was close to the bus terminal, making it perfect for our last day.

のんびりシュノーケリングをしたい、でもビーチエントリーだけじゃもの足りないということでこちらの半日ツアーに参加しました。
私たちはウエットスーツなど機材を持ち込みましたが、他の方は手ぶらで参加されていました。ボートにはトイレやドライエリアもあってカメラなどの荷物も持ち込み可能、無料のお茶サーバーも提供されていました。

出港して２０分、ポイントに船を係留してシュノーケリングタイム。体験ダイビングの方も同船しているツアーなので、ポイントは一箇所で時間は約９０分ほど。体験ダイビングの方々がレクチャーを受けている間にさっそく私たちは海へ。スタッフの方は常に安全に気を配ってくれているので安心、のんびり、マイペースで石垣の海を楽しめます。

石垣の海の中は最高！海底が白砂で海は澄みきったブルー。うっとりする浮遊感にひたりつつ泳ぎ出ると、もうそこらじゅうサンゴ礁だらけ。スズメダイの群がキラキラ青く光ってて綺麗なこと！ソフトコーラルにクマノミ家族を見つけて大興奮。ツノダシ、チョウチョウウオのペアやいろんな魚の群れに出会えました。

泳ぎ疲れたら船に戻り、お茶をいただきながら休憩して、また海へ。

最後にはスタッフさんから「魚にエサやりますか？」と魚肉ソーセージをもらいました。これがすごい威力！ここは竜宮城かと思うほど大小、色とりどりの魚にとり囲まれてモテモテ状態。シュノーケルを咥えながら笑いが止まらない楽しいひと時でした。

午後の飛行機で帰るという日程だったので、事務所のシャワー室をお借りして身支度をととのえ、持ち込み機材も洗わせていただきました。バスターミナルに近く、最終日にはもってこいの立地で助かりました。

My first snorkeling experience. I was very nervous, but I was taught carefully, and even as a beginner, I was able to enjoy it. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but underwater, it was a completely different world, and I had a blast with my friends! The phantom island felt mystical, as if it were standing right in the middle of the ocean.

初めてのシュノーケリング。とてもドキドキしていましたが丁寧に教えていただき、初心者でも楽しめました。あいにくの曇り空でしたが、海の中は全く関係なく別世界が広がっており、友達と一緒に大はしゃぎ‼幻の島も海のど真ん中に立っているようで神秘的でした。

It was a very homely and enjoyable tour. We are a couple in our fifties, and we had a great time without any worries. When we fed the fish, we were surprised to see so many cute fish gathering around our hands. Thank you to all the staff for your care. Next time, I definitely want to participate in the experience diving.

大変アットホームな雰囲気の良いツアーでした。当方５０過ぎの夫婦での参加でしたが、不安なく大変楽しい一時でした。魚にエサをあげる時は、手の回りいっぱいの可愛らしい魚が集まって来てびっくりしました。スタッフの皆さんお世話になりました。今度は、是非体験ダイビングに参加したいです。
