I also saw a clownfish for the first time.
After a break, I had a SUP experience at Kabira Bay. The SUP experience was easier than I expected, and by the end, I was able to maneuver it freely!
The guide took beautiful photos throughout, and at the end, they gifted them to us, so I was happy to have those memories captured!

Very easily made our way from our cruise ship at the port to Tom Sawyer's shop-front.
We had difficulty emailing before our holiday. We asked the company if they 'had room' for the two of us on that day. We meant 'space', they thought we meant Hotel accommodation (and I guess maybe if they could book that for us).

The confusion put behind us... they spoke English. Fitted us at the shop for wetsuit, flipper, snorkel and mask and we made our way in their van to their boat.

Nice large boat, we felt very confident and it didn't take us very long to get to the reef.
Lots of car was taken by our instructors even once we were in the water to ensure we were comfortable breathing, etc.

They gave clear advice on where in relation to the boat we should swim.

The underwater world was amazing... lots of fish to see. Also, plenty of time to just float around and take it all in.

Highly recommend Tom Sawyer for this experience and also the communication with the Veltra staff.

On my first trip to Ishigaki Island, while just sightseeing would have been nice, I wanted to see the beautiful ocean and southern fish since I had come all the way from Hokkaido, so I joined this tour. The staff were friendly and explained everything in detail, and the boat was a large one that could accommodate 100 people, so we had plenty of space to relax. It seemed like they took us to the best spots based on the day's weather and wave conditions. The staff accompanied us while snorkeling and explained various fish. We even saw Nemo! The waves were calm that day, and we had a great time. However, it was unfortunate that they didn't inform us of the departure time, so I wasn't sure how long we could enjoy snorkeling and couldn't make the most of it. I think it might depend on the weather, but if you're visiting Okinawa, I definitely recommend participating.

初めての石垣島で、普通に観光するのもいいけど　せっかく北海道から南の果てまで来たので綺麗な海と南の魚を見たくてこのツアーに参加しました。

We went snorkeling between Taketomi Island and Ishigaki Island. The view from the boat before reaching the snorkeling point was a vibrant blue sea that I had never seen before, and it was truly moving!!
During snorkeling, they taught us how to wear the masks, so very little water got in, and we were able to swim comfortably. They also explained the names of the fish, which allowed us to enjoy a different experience than just swimming on our own.
There was also a shower room with shampoo and conditioner provided, so we could go straight to the airport comfortably. I would like to use their services again next time. I want to go diving next time to see a different view. Thank you very much!!

The waves were high and it was a bit cold, so the weather conditions weren't great, but we had plenty of time and were able to see many fish. When we returned to the shop, there were showers available, and we could head out for sightseeing right after, which was helpful. Overall, I felt there wasn't much explanation and the response was a bit dry, so I think this shop is recommended for those who are experienced or prefer not to have too many explanations.

The staff at Pushiinuma Ishigaki were very friendly and approachable. Thanks to them, I was able to participate in snorkeling for the first time without feeling nervous. My son was really looking forward to swimming in the sea, and it seems he had a fantastic time. I had never been in such deep water before, but I enjoyed it without feeling scared.

There were other families with children, but the staff kindly took us around the boat, which made us feel more at ease. The underwater scenery was beautiful, with many colorful fish swimming around—small ones, big ones, and vibrant ones, which was a delight to watch. The staff caught a sea snake and let us touch it. It was my first time touching a snake, and seeing a sea snake up close was also a first for me, making it a valuable experience. Thank you very much.

This was my first time in Ishigaki Island, and since I wanted to enjoy the ocean, I participated with my boyfriend. Before we left, I was worried about whether we could actually go in the water in February, but on the day of the trip, it was the clearest day of our travels, and I didn't feel cold at all ( ˘ω˘ ).

As we moved by boat, the incredibly beautiful blue color spread out before us, and my anticipation grew as we approached our snorkeling spot. Almost everyone on board was snorkeling for the first time, but the staff provided very thorough instructions on how to wear the wetsuit, how to put on the goggles, and the proper posture once we were in the water, which made me feel reassured!

Actually, I’m not a good swimmer at all, and I was initially a bit scared to put my face in the water and struggled with breathing through my mouth. However, thanks to the staff's appropriate advice, I was able to closely see the crystal-clear blue of the ocean and the vibrant fish that I usually only see in aquariums (*^^*). The staff even pointed out things like, "There’s a Nemo right at my feet," and "That small blue fish is a rare species found only in Okinawa" \( ˆoˆ )/. It was a dreamlike experience that passed in the blink of an eye, but I think the time allocation was just right for us to fully enjoy it!

After getting off the boat, we were served warm tea, which was a nice touch (*´ー｀*). I thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but I definitely want to participate again! Thank you very much ╰(*´︶`*)╯.

同乗した方はほぼ全員初めてのシュノーケルでしたが、ウェットスーツの着方やゴーグルの付け方、海に入ってからの姿勢などとても丁寧なレクチャーがあり安心できました！

実はほぼほぼ泳げないカナヅチな私は、海水に顔をつける恐怖と、口呼吸がうまくできず最初は少し苦労しましたが、スタッフの方の適切なアドバイスもあって、透き通るような海の青色と水族館でしか見ないような鮮やかな魚たちを間近でしっかりと目に焼き付けることができました(*^^*)
「私の足元にニモがいますよ」「青く光る小さな魚は沖縄しかない珍しい魚です」など、一緒に入ったスタッフの方が案内してくれることもありました\( ˆoˆ )/
あっという間の夢のような時間でしたが、それでも十分にゆったり満喫できる時間配分だったと思います！

Snorkeling was a first-time experience for me in my 61 years of life. It was an emotional encounter with a world I had never known before. Although I couldn't breathe through my mouth, I was able to do it with the guidance of the staff, so anyone can do it. I recommend that first-timers participate with peace of mind. The moment I put my face in the water, I exclaimed, "Wow, it's beautiful!" I almost forgot that I had a snorkel in my mouth. There were many beautifully colored fish, like tropical fish, around the coral, and the young and cute staff member, Aoi, guided us. Just holding onto the float and looking down gave me the sensation of diving since my body was in the water. The next day, I took a glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay, but the experience was completely different from just watching and wearing a wetsuit. I highly encourage you to put on a snorkel and get into the sea. A couple who came on the same boat was diving and having fun in deeper waters. There were three staff members, and they were all great people; I can't imagine coming to Ishigaki Island without them. I understand why there are so many repeat visitors. I even thought about trying diving next time. It was so moving that it changed my perspective on life, so please experience it in Ishigaki Island. I feel like I've missed out on life by not knowing this before. Thank you so much to all the staff. You all truly love Ishigaki Island, and it's wonderful. The captain skillfully navigated the boat and took us to great spots based on the day's weather. He was also quite funny! The lady was fun and a nice person, and her love for diving really came through. Thanks to them, it became a truly enjoyable and memorable trip. I look forward to seeing everyone again next time.

シュノーケル61年の人生で初体験でした。今まで知らなかった世界で感動的でした。口で息をするのも出来ない私でしたが、スタッフの指導でできたので、誰でもできます。初めての方も安心して参加される事をお勧めします。まず、海に顔とつけた瞬間、ウワー綺麗と歓喜の声が出ました。口にシュノーケルくわえているの忘れそうになりました。熱帯魚のような綺麗な色の魚もたくさん珊瑚の周りにいて、スタッフの若い可愛い❤青ちゃんんが誘導してくれます。ただ浮き袋につかまって下を見てるだけですが、身体が海に入っているので潜っている感覚があります。翌日、川平湾でグラスボートに乗ったのですが、見るだけと、ウエットスーツ着ているのとでは体感的に全く違います。是非シュノーケルつけて海に入ってみて下さい。更に深い所に同じ舟で来たカップルがダイビングして楽しんでました。　　　スタッフは三人いましたが、皆いい人で石垣島来るならここ以外考えられないです。リピーター多いのもわかります。次回はダイビングもしてみようかななんて思いました。とにかく人生観が変わる位感動的なので石垣島で是非経験して下さい。今まで知らなくて人生損した気分です。スタッフの皆さん本当にありがとうございました。皆さん石垣島を愛してらして素敵です。キャプテンは結構舟跳ばしますがいいポイントにその日の天候をみて連れて行ってくてます。冗談の上手いしね!お姉さんも楽しくていい人でダイビング好きなのがひしひしと伝わってきました。お陰で本当に楽しい思い出深い旅行になりました。次回も皆さん宜しくお願いします。

10月の終わりということもあり、もともとマンタのポイントに行けるのも５０％ぐらいの確立って言われていましたが・・・日頃の行いが良かったのか当日は北風もなくマンタにも出会え、最高のシュノーケリングでした！優雅に泳ぐマンタを上から見るとスターウォーズに出てくるダースベーダーを想像してしまうぐらいの迫力！とても感動しました！

This was my second time visiting Ishigaki Island.

They picked us up at the hotel, and after putting on our wetsuits, we boarded the boat near the island terminal. I was worried about seasickness, but since I was able to go out on deck and look around, I felt great until we arrived at the snorkeling spot. They provided a thorough explanation of how to snorkel on the boat.

Once we arrived at the spot, we quickly jumped into the sea! We were blessed with good weather, and the water was incredibly clear and beautiful! We could see plenty of fish and coral!

With the wetsuits, we basically floated in the water, and they also helped prevent sunburn. For those who were concerned, they offered flotation devices for rent. We wanted to dive underwater, so we took off our wetsuits halfway and swam. It was great to be able to snorkel in our own comfortable styles.

Although they offered to take us back to the hotel, the island terminal was very close, so we borrowed a shower at the shop, changed, and headed straight to the next island in the afternoon. Thank you for being so accommodating. The staff were all very friendly and kind, which made the experience truly enjoyable. I had a lot of fun!＼(^o^)／

ホテルまでお迎えに来て頂き、ウエットスーツを着てから離島ターミナル周辺より乗船しました。
船酔いを心配していましたが、デッキに出て外を見ながらでしたのでポイント到着までも気持ちよく過ごせました。
船上でシュノーケルのやり方を丁寧に説明して頂けます。

ポイントに到着してからはさっそく海へ!
お天気にも恵まれ、水が本当に透きとおっていてとっても綺麗で最高でした!
魚も珊瑚もたくさん見えます!

ウエットスーツがあるので基本的に水には浮きますし、日焼けも防止してくれます。心配な方には浮き具の貸し出しもしてくれていました。
私たちは水の中に潜りたかったのでウエットスーツを途中で脱いで泳ぎました。それぞれの泳ぎやすいスタイルでシュノーケリングできて良かったです。

帰りもホテルまで送迎して頂けるということでしたが離島ターミナルがすぐ近くだったので、そのままお店でシャワーをお借りして着替えて午後はすぐ離島に向かうことができました。融通を利かせて下さりありがとうございます。
スタッフの方々皆さんとても親しみやすく親切な対応をして下さり本当に良かったです。

I participated in a snorkeling tour. It was my first experience since the pandemic, but before diving, the staff thoroughly explained how to use the equipment, tips for breathing, and addressed other concerns beginners might have (like causes of ear pain and how to relieve it, as well as what to do in case of panic), which made me feel at ease while diving.

Once I actually dove in, the sea and the fish were beautiful!!! It was so moving!!! They provided hotel pick-up and drop-off, making transportation very easy. The boat ride was also just the right length, so even someone like me who gets seasick was fine.

However, it was a bit disappointing that the snorkeling spot was limited to just one area without any movement. Also, it seems there are no lockers at the office, and the shower facilities are quite basic, so it might be best to plan for hotel → pick-up → sea → pick-up → hotel → shower.

The staff member even showed me some techniques using bubbles underwater, which was very satisfying! I felt like an hour and a half was not enough! I was diving the whole time, and by the time I was leaving, I was exhausted. But it was such a fun tour that I already want to dive again soon!

シュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。
体験以来初でしたが、もぐる前には事前にスタッフの方が器具の使い方、呼吸のコツ、その他初心者にとって不安な点（耳が痛くなる原因・解消のコツ、パニックになった場合など）も詳しく教えていただいたので、安心して潜る事ができました。
実際潜ってみたら海も魚もきれい！！！感動！！！
ホテルの送り迎えありだし、移動はとても楽でしたよ。船の移動も適度だったので船酔いしやすい私でも大丈夫でした。
ただし、仕方ないのかもしれませんがスポットが狭範囲かつ1つのみ（移動なし）だったので少し残念。
また、事務所にロッカーはないかつ、シャワーも簡易的なもののようなので、
ホテル→送迎→海→送迎→ホテル→シャワー
がいいかもしれません！

お兄さんに水中で気泡を使った技も見せていただき大満足！
一時間半のツアーで足りないよ！と感じずーーっと潜ってたので帰る頃にはへとへと。
でも、またすぐ潜りたいな〜と思えた、すごく楽しいツアーでした。

Snorkeling in Ishigaki Island was my first experience, and I had a wonderful time!! It was located very close to the hotel I was staying at, making it easy to access. The facility was near the port, so I could experience it right away with almost no waiting time! Just before the experience, the rain stopped, and I was able to snorkel in beautiful weather, which was so much fun!! The instructor was kind and funny, and I had the rare opportunity to interact closely with such a beautiful sea and fish!! I was moved to see hidden clownfish and sea snakes up close, which I usually can't see! They provided thorough explanations and precautions beforehand, allowing me to snorkel with peace of mind! They even prepared tea, so I didn't get seasick and was able to enjoy my time! It was a quick experience, and now I want to try diving and other more advanced activities!
