I chose this place because of the free parking. It was great.
I learned a lot about the differences in the river's water levels during high and low tides, as well as the differences when there's a lot of seawater.
It was a bit disappointing, but I could still see quite well, and there were sea turtles too.

船に乗り川の水が多い時、海水が多い時の違い、満潮干潮の時の違いなど
よくわかりました。残念な時でしたが、それなりによく見え、ウミガメもいました。

I didn't go into the sea because I was pregnant, but thanks to the glass-bottom boat, I was able to enjoy the beautiful ocean. They moved us to points where we could see fish, and I was able to see many colorful fish.

I had a reservation for after 1 PM, but due to the weather conditions (rain, wind, tide), I received a call from the staff that suggested changing it to after 3 PM on the morning of the day. As expected, the boats were canceled until 2 PM due to heavy rain and wind. I was about to give up, but services resumed after 2 PM, and the tide conditions were good, allowing us to see turtles, rays, many fish, and coral. It was also great that we could leave our car in the free parking lot and enjoy a leisurely lunch at a nearby delicious soba restaurant while adjusting our schedule. 13時すぎに予約をしていたのですが、天気の状態（雨、風、潮）から、15時過ぎに変更しては？と、当日の朝、スタッフの方からご連絡をいただきました。
案の定、14時までは豪雨と風のため、船は欠航。諦めかけていたのですが、１４時過ぎの便から再開され、潮の状態もよく、亀、エイ、たくさんの魚、サンゴに会えました。無料駐車場に車を置かせてもらって、近くの美味しいお蕎麦屋さんでゆっくり、ランチをしながら、時間調整もできたのも、よかったです。

I visited Kabira Bay for the first time and participated in a glass-bottom boat tour. We were blessed with clear skies and were able to see many fish. We also spotted turtles twice—one swimming normally and another resting among the coral. I would like to join this tour again the next time I come to Ishigaki Island.

初めて川平湾を訪れ、グラスボートツアーに参加しました。快晴に恵まれ、たくさんの魚を見ることができました。亀も２回見ることができました。普通に泳いでいるものと珊瑚の間で休んでいるものです。次回、石垣島にきたときも参加したいと思います。

The guide provided a lot of explanations about the fish and even took pictures of sea cucumbers while diving! All the photos turned out great! Thank you!

Although there were many clouds and I couldn't see the stars, I enjoyed the night cruise. The night sea was somehow magical and wonderful.

当日はあいにくの曇り空でしたが海の中は綺麗に見ました。ウミガメが見られた時は幸せな気分になりました。

As expected of Kabira Bay, it was a bit cloudy, but the clarity of the water was amazing! We saw a remora riding on a sea turtle, various types of coral, and clownfish around sea anemones as we moved to different points. It was so much fun to watch, and while the glass-bottom boat was nice, it really made me want to go snorkeling. I didn't feel seasick at all in the calm sea! 😊

さすが川平湾、少し曇っていたのですがとにかく透明度がすごい！
ウミガメの上にコバンザメが乗っていたり、色々な種類のサンゴ、イソギンチャクの周りのカクレクマノミなど、ポイントに移動しながら見せてくれました。
見てると楽しくて、グラスボートもいいけど、やっぱりシュノーケリングしたくなっちゃいます。
静かな海で船酔いは全くしませんでした(^^)

The forecast said it would be sunny, but it was completely overcast. I only listened to the sanshin while watching lightning in the darkness. It's a tour with a high risk of scoring zero if it misses the mark.

予報では晴れだったのに完全な曇天。暗闇で稲光を見ながら三線を聞いただけでした。外れると0点のリスクが大きいツアーですね。

I was able to make a reservation at a great price through Veltra.

I was worried I would be late for my reservation time, but when I called, they kindly assured me that it would be fine to arrive at my own time.

The parking was free, and it was conveniently located just a short distance from Kabira Bay.

On the glass-bottom boat, I found that looking down the whole time made me feel nauseous, so I tried to focus on the distant views instead.

They provided a lot of explanations, but I couldn't catch everything, which was a bit disappointing.

That said, I was very satisfied to see sea turtles and clownfish!

予約時間よりも遅くなりそうだったのですが、電話すると、快く対応していただけて、着いた時間に合わせてで大丈夫との事でした。

駐車場も無料で、川平湾からすぐの場所で便利でした。

グラスボートは、ずっと下を見ていると酔うので、見るポイント以外は遠くを見るようにしていました。

色々説明をしてくれていたのですが、それがよく聞き取れなくて少し残念でした。

とはいえ、ウミガメやクマノミも見られて、大満足でした！

The beauty of Kabira Bay made me want to see the fish, but I thought it would be too cold for snorkeling, so I opted for a glass-bottom boat. I was able to get a 10% discount even with a reservation made just the day before, which was a lifesaver.

Once on the glass-bottom boat, I was able to see beautiful coral and fish. Luckily, I also spotted a sea turtle. It seems that high tide is the best time, so I think it's a good idea to check that before deciding on a time to participate.

川平湾の美しさ、魚を見たく、でも、シュノーケリングをするには寒いと思ったので、グラスボートに。
前日までの予約でも1割引でしたので、ギリギリの予約でしたが、助かりました。
グラスボートに乗り、海底を覗くと、美しい珊瑚や魚を見ることができました。ラッキーなことに海亀も見られました。
満潮時が良いようですので、調べてから参加時間を決めるといい、と思いました。

I made a reservation the night before, but everything went smoothly without any issues. You can't expect that to happen overseas, right? This was my second time at Kabira Bay, and it was sunny! Kabira Bay really is best enjoyed in sunny weather. I recommend checking the weather the night before and on the day of your visit before participating.

前日夜の予約でしたが、トラブルもなくスムーズに対応頂きました。海外じゃ、こうは行かないですよね。 川平湾は2回目でしたが、晴れました! 川平湾はやっぱり晴れがいいですね。 前日の夜の天気、当日の天気を見て参加することを、おすすめします。

I was very satisfied with the Veltra reservation as it was very smooth and affordable. The check-in on-site was also very smooth.

As for the glass boat, it gradually became foggy, possibly due to everyone's excitement, which was quite disappointing. I wish they could have wiped the fog during the ride or applied more anti-fog solution. Alternatively, I think it would be better to replace the glass itself. Since the main attraction is viewing the underwater world through the glass, I hope they can improve the maintenance in this area.

Veltraの予約はとてもスムーズでしかもお安く出来たので満足。現地での受付もとてもスムーズでした。

グラスボートですが、皆の熱気のせいなのか段々と曇って来てしまいとても残念。走行中でも曇りを拭けるとか曇り止めをもっと塗っておくとかして欲しかった。もしくはグラスそのものを新調した方が良いと思います。
グラス越しに海の世界を見るのがメインなのでここのメンテナンスはもっとしっかりやって欲しい物です。

The long-awaited glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay. It was about 30 minutes in total. While moving to the points of interest, we listened to explanations about the fish and coral, leaving no time to feel seasick.

念願の川平湾グラスボート。正味30分ほどでしょうか
ポイントへ移動しながら、魚や珊瑚の説明を聞いて、乗り物酔いする暇もないくらいでした。

I was able to see turtles swimming. I booked an early morning trip due to the tide, but when I arrived at the reception early, there was availability on an earlier boat, so they were able to change it for me. I recommend booking during the time just before high tide.

潮位の関係で朝早い便を予約したのですが受付に早めに行ったら、もう一便前に空きがあったので変更していただけました。
予約する際は満潮手前の時間帯がお勧めです。

We arrived by rental car, and there was a dedicated parking lot. There is a reception area in front of the parking lot.

We arrived early, and I was grateful that they allowed us to board the earlier ferry. It takes about five minutes to walk to the boarding area, but there is a ramp leading to the beach.

The transparency of Kabira Bay seems to change depending on the time of day. It looked better earlier in the day. Although it was cloudy, we could see clearly. I was very satisfied to see turtles and coral.

The guide was considerate, making it easy for us to enjoy the nature of Ishigaki Island while sitting down.

レンタカーで向かいましたが、専用駐車場がありました。駐車場前に受付があります。
早く着きましたが、前の便に乗せてくだったのがありがたかったです。
乗り場まで五分程度歩きますが、浜までスロープがついています。
川平湾の透明度も時間帯によって変わるそう。この日は早い方が良さそうでした。曇りでしたが綺麗に見れました。亀や珊瑚が見れ大満足です。
ガイドさんが見やすいよう配慮してくださり、座りながら石垣島の自然が楽しめました。

I participated with three colleagues from work. The tide wasn't great, so the visibility was a bit lacking, but we enjoyed seeing things like mantis shrimp and coral.

職場の人と４人で参加しました。潮が良くなかったので、透明度が今ひとつでしたがシャコ貝やサンゴなど、楽しめました。

In conclusion, it was a very good tour!

Since it was stated that same-day reservations were okay, I considered making a reservation depending on the weather. On the day of my arrival, the weather looked good while I was on the plane, but I couldn't select same-day booking. Since the weather was suitable for another day, I made a reservation for a different day. Just to be sure, I directly contacted the tour company, and they informed me that it was a system issue and that changes could be made on the day of. They changed it for me on the same day. Furthermore, I received advice that the conditions were better in the morning than in the afternoon due to the tides, so after arriving at the airport, I rented a car and went straight there!

Additionally, parking was free. I don't think the entrance was too difficult to find.

One slight disappointment was that the voice of the guide and captain inside the glass-bottom boat was hard to hear... However, they repeated the names of the fish and important information twice, so it wasn't like I didn't understand anything.

I am very grateful to have participated under such good conditions!

結論、とてもよいツアーでした！

当日予約OKと記載してあったので、天候次第で予約しようと検討しました。
来島日の機内で天候がよさそうだったので予約取得しようとしたところ、当日を選択できませんでした。
別日でも利用できる天候だったので、別日に予約取得。
念のためツアー会社に直接問い合わせたところ、システム上の問題なので当日に変更可能ですとの回答をいただき、当日に変更していただきました。
さらに、潮の関係で予約していた午後よりも午前の方が条件が良いですよとアドバイスをいただき、
空港到着後レンタカーを借りて直行しました！

しかも駐車場も無料でした。エントランスもそんなにわかりにくくないと思います。

ちょっと残念は、グラスボート内のガイド兼船長の方の声が聞きにくかった、、、。
でも、魚の名前や重要なことは２回繰り返して言われていたので、
わからないって感じでは、なかったです。

とても良い条件で参加させていただき、大変感謝しております！

The weather forecast predicted cloudy skies, and there were no stars visible at the time of departure. I thought I would enjoy a night cruise and the sanshin, but as soon as we arrived at the point, I was able to see many stars, including Jupiter and Orion. I even saw a star that is said to bring good fortune if spotted low in the western sky. Even in February, the breeze felt nice, and if it got cold, we could go inside, which also had restrooms. The sanshin performance was wonderful. The departure time was coordinated with the lighting of the Southern Bridge, allowing us to see it from the sea. Stars that can't be seen in the city were clearly visible from the pitch-black ocean. It was a truly lovely experience. The parking lot was conveniently located near the office and was free.

天気予報でも曇り、出航時も星は一つも見えず。ナイトクルージングと三線を楽しもうと思いましたが、ポイントについた途端、一つ二つ最終的には木星やオリオン座などたくさんの星を見ることができました。西の空の低い位置にある見られたら幸運が訪れるという星もなんと見ることができました。２月でも風が気持ちよく、寒くなったら室内なら入れますし、トイレもあります。三線も素敵でした。出航時間がサザンブリッジのライトアップに合わせられていて、海から見ることができました。街では見られない星が真っ暗な海からはよく見える。とても素敵な体験でした。駐車場も事務所の近くで無料でした。

Since you're looking down while using the glass boat, it's easy to get seasick. However, when I focused intently on the fish shadows, I was able to forget about that and enjoy the experience.

When it comes to southern islands, Ishigaki Island is a must, along with its white sand and blue sea. A glass-bottom boat is essential. It was a relaxing boat trip, and the captain was entertaining, making for a healing moment with the scenery, fish, and sea turtles.

南の島と言えば、石垣島そして白い砂青い海欠かせないのがグラスボート。
ゆったりとした船旅で船長さんも面白く景色と魚とウミガメがコラボ癒しのひとときでした。

Despite the reservation being made the day before, I was able to participate smoothly. We departed on an early boat according to our arrival time. Although it was mentioned that the water was murky due to strong winds, I was surprised to see not only the corals and fish but also a large live giant clam.

前日の予約にも関わらず、スムーズに参加できました。到着時間で早めのボートで出発。強風のため濁りを言われましたが、サンゴやお魚さんもですが、おっきな生きたシャコガイに会えてびっくりです。

I received information that the scheduled day was unfortunately canceled due to strong winds, but they offered an alternative date, and I was able to board safely today! The weather was clear, there was no sea breeze, and the waves were calm, allowing us to see the beautiful sea under great conditions! It was my first time on a glass-bottom boat. The time we went was just as the tide was going out, so we couldn't visit the spots that are accessible during high tide, which was disappointing. The blue color of the sea was stunning.

Was the microphone not good? It was hard to hear the explanation. Even though tourism is a service industry, the staff's friendliness wasn't very good. Last fall, I rode a glass-bottom boat from a different company, and they also lacked friendliness, so I'm trying to convince myself that this is just how it is.

Since it's a nationally designated park, I think there are many tourists, and I believe that the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay has become a standard tourist attraction when visiting Ishigaki Island. This is a harsh review, but I wrote it in hopes for improvement in the future.

I ride the glass-bottom boat every time I go to Ishigaki Island, and I want to continue doing so.

解説が聞こえづらかったです。
観光案内も接客業なのに愛想もそんなに良くなかったです。
昨年秋に別会社のグラスボートに乗りましたがそちらも愛想がなかったのでこんなものなのか？
と自分に言い聞かせています。

国立指定公園になっているので観光客も多いと思うし、石垣島にきたら川平湾のグラスボートが観光の定番になっていると思うので厳しい書き込みとなりましたが今後に期待して口コミ書かせていただきました。

石垣島に行ったら毎回グラスボートに乗ってるしこれからも乗りたいです。

The sea was beautiful, and in addition to the coral and various fish, we also got to see sea turtles. It was a bit disappointing that the children's excited voices were so loud that we couldn't hear the guide's instructions at all, but I was very satisfied with the content itself. I was able to take an earlier bus, and when I consulted with them, they kindly changed my reservation to the earlier departure, so I appreciate their flexible response. It was a quick 30 minutes.
