It was so much fun that it ended in the blink of an eye. Although it was cloudy on the day, the visibility underwater was clear and interesting. I recommend going at high tide. For those planning to go, I suggest checking the high tide schedule before making a reservation. It seems that the weather doesn't matter, so even if it's rainy or cloudy, you can enjoy it without feeling down. This is an activity I can definitely recommend.

　当日は曇天だったが、海の中がはっきり見えて面白かった。満潮のタイミングで行くのがおすすめとのこと。これから行かれる方には満潮時を調べてから予約することをおすすめしたい。天気は関係ないらしいので、雨、くもりでも気を落とすことなく楽しめるので、おすすめできるアクティビティです。

The weather was nice, but unfortunately, the sunset was mostly obscured by thick clouds. However, the guide was friendly and provided clear explanations, answering questions easily, which made for an enjoyable time.

良い天気でしたが、肝心の日の入りは厚い雲にかかってあまり見られず…。
でもガイドさんが気さくな方で、分かりやすい説明と共に気軽に質問に答えて下さったり、楽しい時間を過ごす事ができました。

During my stay, I was worried because the weather wasn't great, but it cleared up in the afternoon, and if I looked closely, I could even see the Milky Way without the moon. The other stars were beautiful as well, which was fantastic. The only disappointing part was that I couldn't spot the shooting stars that others seemed to have seen, and the wind was really strong. However, sailing on the night sea was a valuable experience, and I enjoyed it.

滞在中天候に恵まれず不安でしたが、その日の午後から晴れ、月もなく良く目をこらせば天の川も確認できました。その他の星達も綺麗に見えて最高でした。残念だったのは、他の方は見たらしい流れ星を見つけられなかった事と風が凄かった事かな。でも夜の海の航海は貴重な体験で良かったです

The coral reef was closer than I expected. However, the seating was cramped, and there was a child crying next to me, which was disappointing.

思っていたより、珊瑚礁が間近で見えました。ただし、座席が詰め詰めで、子供が横で泣き喚いてたし、それが残念でした。

This was my fourth time on the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay, and this time I brought my grandchild, making it a three-generation experience. My grandchild, who was experiencing this for the first time, was thrilled by the colorful fish and large rays, completely captivated by the mystical underwater scenery. In the latter part of the trip, a sea turtle approached the glass-bottom boat and swam with us for a while, which was very moving. It became a wonderful memory for our summer vacation. Thank you very much.

川平湾のグラスボートは私は四回目ですが、
今回は孫も連れて三世代で参加しました。
初体験の孫は色鮮やかな魚や大きなエイに声を上げて喜び、とても神秘的な海の中の光景に釘付けでした。後半は一匹のウミガメがグラスボートに近づき暫く私達と一緒に海の散策を、共に出来たのがとても感動的でした。夏休みの良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。

I used the service on the afternoon of July 16. This year, the rainy season was long, so they took us a bit further out because the visibility in Kabira Bay was poor. They mentioned that if we were lucky, we might encounter turtles, and they really made an effort to find spots where turtles might be. We actually encountered one! They also provided various explanations about the fish and corals, and I had a great time.

7月16日の午後に利用しました。今年は梅雨が長かった為川平湾内の透明度が悪いと言う事で少し沖の方へ行ってくれました。運が良ければ亀にも遭遇出来ますよと言って一生懸命亀のいそうな場所を探してくれて本当に遭遇出来ました。魚の名前や珊瑚の事など説明も色々してもらい、良い時間が過ごせました。

I signed up while keeping an eye on the weather, as cancellations were possible until the evening of the day. There were a few clouds, but I was able to see the Big Dipper and Scorpius clearly. During the event, I also saw shooting stars three times. In the latter half, as the boat returns to the port, the city lights and the lights of the ships docked in the harbor are quite bright, so I think the best chance to see the stars is in the first half, before the boat leaves the harbor.

当日夕方までキャンセル可能ということで、空の様子を見ながら参加申し込みしました。少し雲はありましたが、北斗七星やさそり座をはっきり見ることが出来ました。また、参加中に3回流れ星が見えました。船が港に戻る後半は、市街地の明かりや港に停泊中の船の灯がかなり明るいので、星を見るのは船が港から出て行く前半がチャンスかと思います。

I had previously participated in a stargazing tour in Ishigaki, where I was able to see an unbelievable number of stars, which left me deeply moved. That's why I signed up for this tour as well.

However, on the day of the tour, it was quite cloudy, and I was anxious about whether we would be able to see anything. With the full moon approaching, it illuminated the night sky so brightly that only a few stars were visible. I had hoped that as we ventured further, we might see more stars, but it was actually more disappointing than looking up at the night sky in the city, where you can see more stars. I was very disappointed. The tour guide mentioned that it was lucky we were able to operate today since it had been raining until the day before, but for those of us who were looking forward to the starry sky, it felt like we were just cruising without seeing any stars at all, which was not enjoyable at all.

I also felt that they must have known about the moon's condition, so I honestly wished they had explained the situation before we departed. The shamisen performance was not something I could call good either.

Next time, I think I will pay more attention to the timing and conditions before participating.

以前も石垣で星空を見るツアーに参加したことがありその際は信じられないほどの星を見ることが出来感動した為今回もツアーを申し込みました。
今回のツアーの当日はかなり曇りで見えるのか不安な中での出発となりましたが、満月が近い為月が煌々と夜空を照らしており、星数はまばらに見えるだけ。。奥まで進めば少しは見えるのかと期待しましたが都内で見上げる夜空の方が星が見えるんじゃないかという状況で非常にがっかりしました。前日まで雨で運航が出来なかったからでしょうか、今日運航出来たのはラッキーですと添乗員さんに言われましたが、星空を期待していたこちらとしては星空が全く見えない中ただクルージングしている状況でしたので、全然楽しくなかったです。月の状態も絶対わかっていたはずなので、出発前に状況を説明して頂きたかったというのが本音でした。
三味線もお世辞にも上手と言えませんでした。。
次回は参加する時期など参加する側もしっかり見て参加しようと思います。

We participated with my husband in his 60s and our grandchild. The first thing we saw was the amazing view of Kabira Bay, and then the scenery from the glass-bottom boat was so beautiful that it moved us! Thanks to the staff's thorough explanations, we were able to easily understand and see corals, fish, and sea turtles, which made it a lot of fun. It was a first-time experience, and our grandchild was very happy.

60代の夫婦とお孫ちゃんを連れて三人で参加しました。まず最初に見た川平湾の景色の素晴らしさ、それからグラスボートに乗ってからの景色や船底があまりにも綺麗で感動しました！
スタッフの方の丁寧な説明で分かりやすく珊瑚、魚、ウミガメなども見ることが出来て色んなことが分かりとっても楽しかったです。初めての体験でお孫ちゃんも大喜びでした。

The moon was bright, and the stars weren't very visible, but there was an explanation of the constellations and a performance of traditional Okinawan music, which created a perfect atmosphere.

The tour guides were kind and informative, but the weather was cloudy... It can't be helped, but it's disappointing. I think it would be a good idea to include the option of cancellation as well.

ツアーの方々は親切に教えてもらいましたが、天候は曇り空…仕方ないといえば仕方ないですが。残念ながらがっかりしました。中止の選択も提示の中に入れておくのもアリかと思う。

The staff introduces the fish while driving, making it easy to understand. Since it's in the bay, the waves aren't high, allowing for a comfortable sightseeing experience. You can also open the windows, so ventilation measures can be taken.

スタッフの方が運転しながら魚の紹介をしてくれるのでわかりやすいです。湾内のため波も高くなく快適に観光することができます。窓を開けることもできるので、換気対策は行えます。

At first, it was cloudy, and I wondered if we would be able to see the stars. We could see a few through the gaps in the clouds. As the boat gradually moved out to sea, the clouds cleared, and we were able to see a sky full of stars. It felt almost too much for just the four of us on the boat. I wished I could have watched while lying down.

当初は曇り空で、星見えるのかしら？と参加しました。雲の合間に少しはみえたけど。船でだんだんと沖に出るうちに雲もなくなり、満天の星空見えました。船は私達4人の貸し切りで申し訳ないくらいでした。寝ながら見たかったです。

I wasn't very knowledgeable about constellations, but the guide shared a lot of interesting facts and stories about various stars, and I really enjoyed it!

星座に詳しくなかったですが、ガイドさんに豆知識やいろいろな星の話をたくさんご説明いただき、とても楽しめました！

The weather was bad, and I couldn't see the sunset; I just got on the boat. It was cold, so I stayed inside the cabin. It was disappointing.

天候もわるく、サンセットみれず、船に乗ってきただけでした。寒くて船室内に入っていました。残念でした。

The temperature was 22 degrees, so it was just barely possible to swim, which is why I booked this glass-bottom boat. I'm usually a snorkeling person, so it's been a while since I've been on a glass-bottom boat. The boat was private, and they provided detailed explanations of the points where we could see fish, plus I enjoyed chatting with the staff. In December, the water clarity was high, and we could see the fish well. We couldn't go to the point to see turtles due to the waves, but it was an exciting glass-bottom boat experience.

気温は22度で泳げるかどうかギリギリだったので、こちらのグラスボートを予約しました。
普段はシュノーケリング派なのでグラスボートは久しぶりです。
船は貸切で、魚が見れるポイントを詳しく説明してくれるし、スタッフと世間話みたいな感じもできるし楽しかったです。
12月は透明度が高く魚がよく見えました。亀は波の関係でポイントには行けませんでしたが、テンション上がるグラスボートでした。

We boarded the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay, blessed with sky blue and sea blue waters. Perhaps due to the high tide during our morning departure, the water clarity was exceptional, allowing us to see corals, clownfish, and a variety of colorful fish. I was amazed by the diversity of coral species, which our guide explained to us. Learning about the names of the fish and the ecology of the giant clams was truly educational.

To my surprise, we were able to see four sea turtles, which are usually hard to encounter. One of them even showed us its swimming姿. I was very moved and left feeling extremely satisfied.

午前出発で満潮だったためなのか、
透明度の質がとても高く、
珊瑚、ニモ、彩とりどりのお魚達を観ることが

珊瑚の種類の多いことにびっくり。
それをガイドさんは、説明して下さいました。
魚の名前も、シャコガイの生態など、
本当にお勉強になります。
感動しました。

驚くことなかれ
なかなか会えないはずの海亀、
しかも四匹も観ることが出来ました。
そのうち一匹は泳いでる姿を見せてくれました。
とても感動しました。
大満足出来ました。

I thought I would see more coral, but it wasn't that much. It was better to look at the surface of the sea from the boat than to see the seabed through the glass.

もっとサンゴとか見れるかとおもったがそれ程でなかった。
ｶﾞﾗｽ越しに海底を見るより、船から海面を見ている方が良かった。

You can experience the beautiful waters of Kabira Bay, a representative tourist spot in Ishigaki Island. We boarded the boat in the early afternoon. Even before getting on the boat, the stunning gradient of blue waters spread out before us against the white sandy beach, which really got us excited. Additionally, there were quite a few fish swimming around in the shallow waters near the boat. Once on board, fish appeared one after another on the glass bottom, which was enjoyable even while waiting for other guests. As we set off, the captain provided detailed introductions to the coral reefs and fish, making it a fun experience. Due to the low tide, the water had a slightly greenish hue, so we ventured further out and were able to see two quite large sea turtles! While I had seen sea turtles while snorkeling before, the ones we saw here were impressively large. It turned out to be a very worthwhile boat ride! There were many families with small children on board, and the kids were thrilled. It's a great opportunity for families to see lots of fish and sea turtles, so I highly recommend it!

石垣島の代表的観光スポット川平湾の海を体感できます。私たちは昼過ぎの便に乗船しました。船に乗る前から、白い砂浜に美しいグラデーションのブルーが目の前に広がり、テンションが上がりました。さらに、船の周りには浅瀬でも割と魚が泳いでいます。船に乗ると、真ん中のガラス面に次々と魚が右往左往に登場！他のお客さんを待っている間でも楽しめました。出発すると、船長さんが細かく珊瑚礁や魚の紹介をしてくれ、楽しめました。また干潮の影響でやや緑がかった海の色だったため、この時間は沖にも行ってくれ、そこでかなり大きなウミガメを2匹見ることができました！シュノーケルなどでウミガメを見たことはありましたが、ここで見たウミガメはかなり大きく驚きました。とても価値のある乗船になりました！一緒に乗船した小さなお子様を連れた家族も多く、お子さんも大喜びでした。たくさんの魚やウミガメを家族で見れるチャンスなので、オススメです！

Since snorkeling is not allowed at Kabira Bay, I participated in a glass-bottom boat tour. Everyone was wearing masks, so I didn't have any particular concerns regarding infection control. The tour took us to several points, allowing us to see various coral reefs and fish with explanations from the guide. I usually do a lot of snorkeling, but on the glass-bottom boat, I was able to enjoy watching the fish at a leisurely pace! The boat ride also allowed me to enjoy the surrounding scenery, which was great! Thank you.

川平湾はシュノーケルできないためグラスボートツアーに参加。
みんなマスクしており感染対策に関しては特に気になることはありませんでした。
グラスボートで数カ所ポイントを回ってくださり、それぞれの珊瑚礁、魚達をガイドの解説付きで回ることができます。
普段シュノーケルをすることがおおいのですが、グラスボートではゆっくり魚をみることができました！
ボートでの移動で周りの景色も楽しむことができ、よかったです！

Kawahirabay is beautiful, of course, but the view from the glass-bottom boat was completely different. I was able to see coral, fish, and sea turtles, and the staff provided thorough explanations, allowing me to learn a lot, which was really enjoyable.

The glass-bottom boat is reasonably priced, and I think it offers more value than the cost, so I believe it's a must-do when visiting Kawahirabay! You definitely won't regret it! There was hardly any rocking, so even someone like me who easily gets seasick was able to enjoy the experience without feeling nauseous at all.

The fresh juice from the shop recommended by the receptionist was also very delicious! I went in the morning to around noon, but the sea was prettier around noon than in the morning, so I recommend going around that time.

As a side note, I visited on a holiday, but due to COVID, it was quite empty...

川平湾が綺麗なのはもちろんですが、
グラスボートから見る景色はまた全然違うものでした。
珊瑚や魚、ウミガメなども見ることができて係のスタッフも丁寧に説明してくれて色んなことが知ることが出来てとっても楽しかったです。

グラスボートは価格もお安いし、値段以上の魅力があるとおもうので川平湾に行く際は絶対に乗るべきだと思いました！絶対に乗って損はないです！
揺れもほとんどないので、酔いやすい私でも全く船酔いすることなく楽しく過ごすことができました。

受付のお姉さんに教えてもらったお店の生ジュースもとってもおいしかったです！！
朝から昼にかけて行ったんですが、朝よりお昼12時頃の方が海が綺麗だったのでお昼頃に行くのがオススメです♪

休日に行きましたが、コロナということもあり、かなり空いてました…

It was very enjoyable.
I think luck played a part, but this time I was able to see three sea turtles and got quite excited (￣∇￣).

It's a selfish wish, but I thought it would be nice if there were plans for a longer duration (^^).

If you have flexibility in your schedule or time, it might be better to aim for just before or after high tide (^o^).

I went snorkeling the day before, and when I got on the glass-bottom boat the next day, it felt less clear.

前日にシュノーケリングをしていて、次の日にグラスボートに乗ったので、鮮明度が低く感じてしまいました。

I was taken to a spot where I could see coral and colorful fish, and I was very satisfied with the beautiful underwater scenery! I also saw clownfish! I think families with children will enjoy it too!

サンゴやカラフルな魚が見えるスポットへ連れて行ってもらい、綺麗な海中がみれてとても満足です！クマノミも見れました！子供連れの方も楽しめると思います！

They took us to many points on the glass boat, and miraculously, we were able to see both sea turtles and manta rays. It became the best memory! ❤️

I was worried about the impact of the typhoon, but I was able to enjoy myself even with the rain and wind. The driving was impressive, stopping the boat at various points of interest and rotating it! I was able to see sharks, tropical fish, and rare corals, and I was very satisfied to encounter the "symbol of happiness," the sea turtle.

台風の影響で心配していましたが、雨と風がある中でも十分楽しめることができました。見どころのあるポイント、ポイントで船を止める、回転するなど運転は見事プロの技でした！サメや熱帯魚、珍しい珊瑚も見れましたし、「幸せの象徴」ウミガメにも出会うことができて大変満足しました。

It was great to have an explanation of constellations that cannot be seen in the Kanto region. However, I had some concerns about the guide wearing a mask under their chin from the start. They were explaining loudly while wearing it like that. I also wondered if the person playing the sanshin was wearing a mask; I couldn't confirm in the dark. During the performance, it seemed like the distance to the front row was quite close. It was also disappointing that there was no spacing between the audience. Other than that, it was excellent.

関東では見れない星座の説明があり、良かったです。しかし、スタート時から説明するガイドさんが顎マスクは、、、どうかと思いました。顎マスクで大きい声での説明。あと三線を弾いてる人もマスクをしていたのか？暗闇で確認できませんでした疑問です。演奏中、最前列との距離が近かったような？あと観客との間隔もなかったのは残念。あとは最高でした。

Wow! I was the only passenger!! It was a private charter. I got to see sea snakes and turtles napping, which was really rare. You absolutely should ride the glass-bottom boat! It was so good that I might consider riding it again next time I go.
